Air McCall installed a new heat pump for us and we are very pleased with everyone involved in the process. Our salesman, Rob B., explained every detail, spent much time working with us prior to purchasing the unit, and followed through with providing excellent service. The installation team, Alonzo and TJ, were, and are, very conscientious, professional, and good men. Air McCall has shown integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. We needed a new A/C unit. We had used them in the past for some maintenance and were very happy with the technician and the service so decided to get a quote from them. Their quote was a few hundred dollars below another firm we have done business with in the past. They were able to schedule quickly and at a convenient time for us. The installers were very professional. They completed the work according to the time estimate. The work was as expected and they did a great job cleaning up. Definitely recommend.

I got 20 years out of my first air conditioner before it started acting up. I called a company out to look at it and they recommended not to put any money into the old unit and to replace it. The downside is that same company quoted me $11K to replace a 3.5 ton unit.Being that my system was not dead yet, I got quotes from 7 different companies, big companies and small companies. Toby from Air McCall was sent out to give me a quote and he provided the best quote for a Carrier 3.5 ton 15 seer unit. He also explained the way the duct of my original system is installed in the garage is inefficient and that they will build a coffin box to improve the efficiency of airflow in the system.A week later when I decided to move forward with the new system, Toby told me that they already had a 15 seer unit on hand, and that they would be able to install the new system in 2 business days. He walked me through the process of how to place the order online through the quote that was sent to my email.Two business days later Travis and Cody were sent to install the new system. They called me about 45 minutes prior to arrival and arrived on time. It took them 6 hours to install the new system as they replaced the air handler in the garage and the heat pump in the back and the thermostat in the house.. They were professional, knew what they were doing, and best of all they took all of the old equipment with them for disposal.I like the fact that the new heat pump in the back is a lot quieter. I also feel a slightly better breeze of cold air inside the house with the new system. About 9 days later a city inspector came to look at the new system and found no problems. Thank you to the team at Air McCall for replacing my air conditioner system.

We had a wonderful technician name Sean, he showed up right on time and had my problem fixed within an hour. Very professional and courteous. The office who called, Jennifer, was so polite and efficient. Overall experience was great, and I would highly recommend them.

The crew sent out to my home to install a new AC system was very polite. They listened to my comments and concern on the installation. The work was performed in a timely manor and my new system was up and running the same day. I do have negative comments on the actual work performed, as you can see in the photo, the drain line was run around the ducting instead of between the air handle and return ducting taking up a significant amount or valuable garage space and susceptible to damage. Additionally, the return ducting was installed with the quickest and easiest approach, instead of cutting the ducting at the top it was cut midway so now there is a 3 inch inset in the middle, if the duct was properly installed, the base with Air Purifier and the duct entering my ceiling would be perfectly aligned not creating improper air flow restriction. I questioned these item and was told it didnt matter to function where I see it as poor planning and workmanship. Following my initial review, I was contacted by Robert the vice president of sale whom offered to correct the installation. A different crew, Jesse & Eric arrived on time and completely refitted my entire air handler and return ducting and corrected the drain line routing, the crew even went the extra mile and provide assurance the work was to code with reinforcements to the air handler duct and added additional sealing dope around the ceiling-to-duct joints, all-in-all the repair work was excellent, it was unfortunate the initial work was unacceptable and an inconvenience to me.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Derrick and Kingsley, who were the Installation technicians who removed my 2005 model Air Conditioner from my newly acquired house that I have been renting for 6 yrs. I chose Air McCall to replace my 15 year old current AC system, which they installed. During the installation yesterday, June 21, 2021, it was discovered that the ductwork, which is the original and 43 years old, was deteriorating. The tape on all the ductwork was loose. The installers, Steve and Joe, were amazing, as they made lemonade out of lemons!! We will replace the original ductwork in late fall or early winter due to the summer heat. I can proudly say, my husband and I slept well last night!!!

Outstanding service with exceptional technicians! The technician was knowledgeable and courteous! Diagnose the problem within 10 minutes of arriving! The only problem came with questioning the service to fix a capacitor in the air handling unit! They tried to invoice my family for a repair in replacing motor assist for $214.00 which means replacing a $10.00 capacitor.We have to question their $ 200.00 labor service charge for a 10-minute fix. Be cautious with this company and ask the right questions! I purchased a capacitor for $9.99 from amazon and with my technical abilities, I will be able to save my family $200.00.Had to pay a $99.00 diagnostic service request which is also kind of high but at least my heater is working! Please ask the right questions!

They have proven to be a good honest company with professional and well trained /experienced techs. Their office was also very pleasant and professional to deal with and had great communication. The entire experience was a no hassle journey. Rob did a great job of walking us thru the process and gave us a very reasonable price for two A/C units, which we purchased.The installation crew did an excellent job. I had a couple of special requests during the install which they were able to provide the needed requests.. They protected our carpet and cleaned up afterward. I called and asked for them to do the second install unit I purchased .Thanks for helping us out in the hot Florida sun in August, the very hottest month we have.

Very professional, communicates well on arrival time, cleans up after doing everything. The only things that was different was the previous guys used their tablet but didn’t have to ask for my WiFi password except this last one. He just came to inspect their own installation of my new ac unit per city requirements. I’m sure there’s nothing to it but it’s never happened to me before.

*update*I get that you have great reviews which is why I called. How many of those did you also ask to change the rating for a discount like you did me? I let them know I was going to be out of the house for work out of necessity, but that I have cameras able to see the tech coming in and can remotely unlock the door. I guess the tech forgot about the cameras because I saw him sitting around in my foyer with my door wide open as leaves were blowing in long after the repairs had been finished. He also kept leaving my back door open for no real reason at all and moving my shoes which were not around the ac or door. It was weird to see what people do when they dont think or forget someone can see them. Plus he over charged.

Upon learning that I had to replace my a/c unit, I contacted several companies for estimates. I contacted Air McCall on Saturday and by Monday morning I had my estimate. Toby was very responsive, patient, and understanding of my plight. I purchased two brand new Rheem units for my residence on March 18, 2019 from Air McCall. On July 29, 2021 McCalls dispatched a technician to troubleshoot the 2 ton unit (2 years 4 months later) model number: RP1524BJ1NA serial number: W471830226. It was not cooling. Technician advised the reversing valve in condensing unit had failed due to a crack in a factory weld and all refrigerant leaked out. Advised total cost to repair approximately $2400. Tech advised 2 year service warranty had expired on the unit and refrigerant loss even due to a factory defect resulting in such loss was not covered by the 10 year Rheem warranty. Spoke with sales rep at McCalls and determined it would actually cost almost the same to have the entire condensing unit replaced; except the make and model of my condensing unit was on backorder from the factory with no estimate of when they will be available again. Rheem customer service was dispassionate about my concerns and offered no assistance at all. Ended up purchasing a discounted brand new Carrier HVAC system from McCalls. We will see how it goes. To be clear, I have always found the folks and service providers at McCalls to be friendly, courteous, professional and quick to respond to my concerns albeit they are not cheap. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services. That said, am not however happy with a Rheem product they recommended and sold to me, and suggest consumers be cautious should a similar recommendation be made to you. Homeowners and businesses need to understand that even with a 10 year factory warranty, labor cost outside the service warranty window, which is often only 2 years to repair even a covered part, and refrigerant loss cost which is not covered under warranty, can be so cost prohibitive that the warranty is really not worth the paper it is written on. Yup, love McCalls, but will never again purchase another product manufactured by Rheem regardless of who recommends it.

We chose Air McCall because the company had plenty of awesome reviews on Google. We lost AC on a super hot, humid night. So we submitted an electronic form that Friday evening (latter part) & got a response before 8 AM Saturday morning. Great turnaround 👍🏼 It rained for a 4-hr period that Saturday which put the repairman behind schedule. We are totally understanding of the situation (esp as residents of FL in the ridiculous heat that’s produced during our famously Hot Summers)! But, what we did not like was the lack of communication from the repairman. He did not call us until 11:42 PM Saturday night to let us we would be held over until Sunday. Needless to say, we sweated a lot this particular weekend.On Sunday afternoon, Shawn, the repairman, showed up. He was very quick to assess the problem and fix it! He was cordial, efficient, & knowledgeable! Definitely, we would request him by name for future services.The only reason we took away a star is the price was sooooooooooo high! $543 for the service call flat fee, a hard start kit, & a new capacitor.

Great service within a timely fashion. My A/C Unit was building up condensation, and I thought the issue was a repeat problem from a few years ago, or an expensive replacement of the entire Unit. The Technician completed a full analysis, and discovered the issue was a minor clog. The Technician was able to clean and clear the pipe in professional and timely manner on an A/C Unit that is hard to reach/interact with (since it was installed in the ceiling). The Technician fully explained the issue to me and my Tenants, then explained how he resolved the issue. I highly recommend Air McCall because of their professionalism, timely responses and explanations, and their transparency and integrity.

My AC was not cooling, would not run for more than 9 minutes and shut off. I was panicking because of the air, worrying about it getting hot, and also because of having someone here with all the covid issues going on as Im sick and elderly. I had Dan as my serviceman. He was on time, knowledgeable, just the nicest guy. He explained to me he did not have to be in contact with me, was only going to be in my garage and backyard at the unit. He put my mind at ease because of my covid concerns. Answered all my questions. Excellent service.

Our old units motor needed to be replaced; not under warranty. It was better to get a new unit, 18 years old. They first came and surveyed what equipment we needed and then put us on the schedule. We were very fortunate that they had Saturday open. They showed up at 8:30 on time and got the job done. Great job!

Review of Air McCallFirst the important part of this review. If you are shopping for a new AC unit, pick Air McCall. I got price quotes from 4 HVAC contractors. Air McCall’s price had the most bang for the buck by far AND their price was a few hundred dollars lower than the other 3 contractors. Specifically, their price included a new plenum in the attic, replacement of both attic trunk line ducts AND all new copper lines from the air handler to the compressor. The other 3 contractors charged from $500 to $700 extra for this.Another thing I liked is that the technicians at Air McCall are employees, not sub-contractors. They get paid by the hour, not the job, so they weren’t motivated to rush the job and possibly make mistakes or cut corners just to make more money. The technicians arrived at our house at 9:30 am and left at about 6:30 in the evening. My wife was particularly impressed with how well the techs cleaned up after themselves.When our ancient Carrier AC died I did a lot of research so I could make the most informed choice possible to replace it. I read literally hundreds of reviews. One thing that stood out to me regardless of whether the review was positive or negative, was that they were all written one or two months after the installation of a new AC unit. That meant that the information about the contractor was very helpful, but the report on how the new unit performed was pretty useless. ANY new equipment that costs a few thousand dollars should be expected to perform well at first. One or two months is not enough time to document whether or not the new unit actually came anywhere close to the manufacturers projected savings on your electricity bill.That is why I waited a full year to write this review. Here are the numbers.In the cooler months our savings were from 8% to 10%. During the hotter months we saved from 23% to 28%. Air McCall estimated that we should save about $50 a month or about $600 a year. Our actual savings were $577.10, which is 96.2% of Air McCall’s estimate. So I had Air McCall out today 7/13/ 2021 to do a new AC install the whole experience was great from my salesman Toby who came out on a Saturday even though he had a weeding to attend on Sunday. The Installers Derriusz and Kenzie were very polite, courteous and professional, they did an amazing job removing and reinstalling the inside and outside units and after the installation you could not even tell they were here. I would highly recommend this company.

I will never call another company for my AC needs! Air McCall took such good care of me for an urgent tenant new system installation, and worked over the weekend to ensure tenants would not be uncomfortable longer than needed. I was completely expecting the repair person to try and say I needed a new outside system. With it being less than 10 years old I knew I didnt. He was very professional and was down to earth. He was not here to sell anything. He was here to fix the issue or tell me how to fix the issue.

We had a replacement HVAC system installed. The technicians were on-time, knowledgeable and courteous. System components were as promised and operate properly as intended. Very happy with the McCall team.

Great service at a very fair price. This is the 3rd of 4 units I have had Rob and his guys install. Unexpected outage as August came in. They came through in the clutch and put in the perfect unit when these were hard to find. Rob is a man of his word and kept his promises, as requested. Thanks once again to Air McCall and Rob. Great experience front to back. Their pricing for installation was competitive and Rob did a fantastic job of answering all my questions (and there were many). The installers (Derek and Luke, I think) were courteous, prompt, and did a fantastic job and they were some of the tidiest contractors Ive ever had for anything. Any concerns or questions that arose during installation were handled well too. I will use them again when I have to replace my other unit.

I couldnt be happier with the service I received from Air McCall. My experience started with Toby who responded quickly after I called requesting an estimate. He took the time to explain the entire installation process and provided an extremely competitive proposal. We received 3 estimates and went with Air McCall because of their choice of equipment, better warranty, and professionalism. I encourage everyone to get several estimates when replacing an A/C system but make sure you get one from Air McCall. Once I accepted their proposal, the installation team was at my door the next morning. Luke and Derek did a fantastic job and was respectful of our house by protecting the floors before they started. The install was neat and professional, unlike the hurry-up job the builder had done. They cleaned up their mess and made sure I understood how to maintain and operate the system. This is a top notch company that goes the extra mile to deliver a quality service.

The Jennifer, Dallas and Daniel are an A+ team! New to the area and my AC went down on. Sunday. Our kid’s room was 98 degrees! They arrived in two hours and had it fixed in 30 minutes. The air MacColl team from the sales group to the install group to the follow up service group were great from beginning to end. During the “process they explain the differences between the different types of systems in the benefits of each and the value of cost compared to long-term savings. During the install process the team was on time they did a great job on the install and clean up after, even taking care of some irrigation line issues that were impacting the install of the outside unit. There were a couple of hiccups at the end of the install, however the service manager came out the next business day first thing to correct and the now the system is functioning amazingly… Great job all round, we couldn’t be happier!!!

They were the definition of professional. From start to finish we were shockingly surprised at how good every aspect of the new install went. Very professional sales representative presented me with several options for replacement of my AC/Heating system after it was determined the old unit would be too costly to repair. I have used Air McCall for more that 12 years and they have always done an excellent job servicing my previous unit. Pricing for the new unit was comparable with other company estimates. The installation team were excellent, well mannered and very particular to make certain everything was installed correctly and to my liking. I was was very pleased with the whole experience.

We purchased 2 brand new units and had them installed. They did not last 5 years before breaking down. Their repair costs WITH warranty are absolutely ridiculous. They very clearly do not appreciate their customers once they have made a big sale in the beginning. Obviously thinking they have you by the.....Extremely rude and difficult to deal with. We will not ever be using this company again. Their technician assured me they were the cheapest cost to repair our units. WRONG!! Youre not the only dealer in the city McCall. You may want to consider that before losing even more customers.

I have been using Air McCall for many years. They installed both of my new HVAC systems (I have one for upstairs and one for downstairs) and I also use them for maintenance. There were a few glitches along the way, but they always make it right. Mostly when there is a new technician that needs more training. But honestly, I have found that with all companies. Its all about the person doing the job. This last time, I had Dallas. He was very thorough and definitely knows his way around an HVAC system. He took the time to explain things to me and promised he would be my tech the next time I have my maintenance check. Amber is also amazing. She answers the phone and is always polite and helpful. I would highly recommend Air McCall.

Air McCall is an approved Carrier installer which is why we chose them. Everything from the consultation to the quote to the install was professional and transparent. The educator discount was great too. No complaints.
