Called him at around 11 this morning and he showed up and had it fixed before 2. VERY fast and easy service for a reasonable price. 10/10 definitely calling him again next time I need A/C work

Amazing experience. Responded to my phone call and came out on a SUNDAY. The tech was able to basically diagnose my issue over the phone and the work was complete in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend.

AC unit was leaking through ceiling. Called them, answered fast, told me a service tech would contact me, within 5 minutes Tucker called me and told me it was going to be about 20 minutes before he got here. Got here. Diagnosed the problem, presented me options and gave me a price. Straightforward and honest company. Couldn’t be happier with how it went. Will always use them for HVAC needs going forward.

We called Richies on a Monday when my ac decided to not cool, they came out in less than an hour, our unit was 10 years old, system was 4lbs low, they recharged and was upfront about if the problem happen again it would be more beneficial to replace the system. Friday morning of the same week the recharge was gone, I called and spoke with Barbara, she was very friendly and personable, I told my husband what she told me and we called back, she had Rich call us back within 10 minutes and we began the process of purchasing a new unit, that afternoon he sent a crew out, by 7pm the old system was out and new system was in place, they informed us they would be back at 8am to finish the install. 745 am on Saturday they were here and started working, by 9am the new system was up and running. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the professionalism, kindness and hard work they put in to keep us comfortable!! Thank you Richies HVAC for such a wonderful experience!!

I called these guys at 7:00 on a Sunday night to fix our a/c and by 8:00 they were done....Absolutely amazing. I could not believe how fast they showed up and how polite and professional they were. I will recommend them to everyone I know....Amazing just amazing.

Called Carolina Comfort for a estimate for a new fan and they give me a crazy $2,000 estimate for the repair and said they dont even have the fan so they will have to order it. I called Richies for a second opinion and not only does this honest family business give me a estimate that is half, they also have they fan with them to do the replacement. Within 2 hours I have made a phone call to have them come look at it. They were honest and professional and were able to show up on a timely manner, fix the problem, and clean up in under 2 hours!!! Now I finally have a honest HVAC repair company to rely on.

EDIT: I received a phone call apologizing & I have NEVER had a company do that.. I truly appreciate the time to call me & the personal apology. It was obviously a misdiagnosis & I was credited the $160 for the service call.. I would give them another chance for the personal apology itself..I called Richies when my HVAC stopped blowing heat. They came out the same day which was great. However the guy who came was only in the attic for 5 minutes. He went outside, Made a call and came back to me saying it was $575, 500 if I use cash and $160 every hour hes here installing a blown fan motor. I got a second opinion and come to find out it was a $55 fix. I paid $145 total for a visit and fix from my second opinion. I paid $160 to Richies just for coming out (it was the weekend). I would advise you to use caution when hiring this company. I dont know their tactics but my gut told me not to use them for the fix and it turned out to be right.

Didn’t know what the problem was so he wanted me to replace whole hvac unit, instead of diagnosing the problem. I asked him what else it could be he said that’s the only thing it could be. I looked it up and found 9 other things. Lazy work they won’t be back

Just to look at our ac they charged $80 would have been nice to know before scheduling them to come out2nd The part we need is roughly $450 and takes about 20min to install, they wanted to charge us $1225, which means they where going to charge us over $700 in labor for a 20 min fix

Fantastic and Prompt Service. The office staff responded back to my call immediately and scheduled a same day appointment. Tucker arrived within a more than acceptable time frame and quickly diagnosed my AC problem, repaired it and had it up and running in literally a matter of minutes for a very reasonable price. I called and spoke with Richie today and he was fully booked but had a tech who was going to pass by my house and he had the tech his name was Tucker he stopped by fixed my AC unit in about 15 minutes. The price was affordable and they went above and beyond to ensure my unit was working correctly before they left. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

We were out of town, and had someone checking on the house for us. While he was there, he noticed out air conditioner wasnt working. We called Richies, and they were able to send someone out within a few hours to fix it. He was able to fix it within 10 minutes. We were able to do everything over the phone. They made it super easy and gave us peace of mind while we were gone. They were also very reasonably priced for doing an emergency service. I would definitely recommend them!!

Called because my AC went out and it got over 80 degrees in the house. They said someone would call me within a few hours to get someone out. I got a call no later than 10 minutes later and someone was here within 30 minutes. Got the AC up and working within 10 minutes. Great value and professional service.

I only write reviews for really impressive businesses. We couldnt get 3 other companies to even call us back and another one said they werent taking new customers. Richies was ON THE BALL! They answered the phone and quickly assessed the issue, they were beyond pleasant, they came out same morning I called (literally within an hour), and were even able to install a new unit the same day! I cant say it would work out that way every summer day because demand is high (90 degree days in June), but they scrambled and MADE it happen for us, all with a smile and genuine kindness. I was actually shocked at how fast we got service after not being able to even get a call back from anyone else. We will HAPPILY use Richies for all our HVAC service in the future. They are an example of how a small business can work hard, do the job right, and gain loyal customers. From office personnel to installers to managers, each person we interacted with was kind and professional.

Our Central AC Unit broke at 5 P.M. on a Saturday, on a 95 degree day. I called many AC repair places near us but not one was able to come out the same day. When I called Richies, they sent me a repair man within 45 minutes, the same day I called, and the AC was fixed within 30 minutes. Highly Highly recommend them if your AC unit needs to be fixed!!

These guys were amazing! They came out the same day we called and asked for a quote and even came before we had closed on our house. They were priced fairly and were able to get it done the same week we closed. We had two ac units to replace and they almost completed the job in one day. They had about an hour left the following work day. I highly recommend this company, we will be using them for all maintenance on our new units.

Richie is a very nice guy and does fast and effective work. He’s very honest. I highly recommend him if you have any AC repair needs. He came out at 9:30 at night had my air running before 10.

Excellent service! Needed emergency service late on a Sunday (Mothers Day at that!), was told they would arrive at 7 and they were in my driveway at 7. Very professional, sympathetic to my problem, and went straight to work. Determined the problem quickly, made the repair, and checked the remainder of the system to ensure it was performing effectively before leaving. Would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!

Awesome! Someday service during the worste time of year. Straight forward and honest. Pointed out several shortcuts that had been made by prior a/c repairmen. Gave several options based on long and short term possibilities and did not push any when regarding cost. Definately will do business with them in the future.

I had 2 commercial 5-ton HVAC units not working. Called Richies HVAC based on Google reviews. Tech diagnosed that one unit had a bad compressor, the other had a bad compressor and accumulator. Estimate for repair on both units was $5500, and understandably, no guarantees on anything because of age of units. Replacing just one unit was quoted at $8500, replacing both units at the same time was $14000. I called another well known company for a 2nd opinion. That tech came out, found a minor problem with one unit, fixed it at no charge, and that unit (and compressor and accumulator) have worked fine for 4 days now. The other unit was deemed too expensive to repair and they have quoted a replacement unit at $5700, or $2800 less than the single unit replacement from Richies. Although Richies proposal and the other companys proposal are for different brands, the specs and work to be done are the same.This was my experience (first and last) with Richies, your mileage may vary.

Was just 80 bucks to come out said it was condenser motor and left and said he got one in truck for 200 something odd dollars and that wasnt including labor which is 156 bucks for 4 bolts and 3 wires which take 10 to 15 min at most like WHAT I said nah Im good on that but hey he didnt care he got a free 80 bucks the same motor online and other places ranging from 56-100 bucks however they are some thats high but why not tell a paying customer a cheaper option? Smh

I called the morning of the 16th for a free estimate to replace my entire A/C unit and they were at my rental property that afternoon and emailed me my quote as soon as they had it. The best part is that the property is a rental property and I live in another state. I called and talked to Barbara and she handled everything for me, I literally did not have to do anything. She called my property manager on my behalf and scheduled a time to get to the property to give me my quote. My wife and I talked about our options over the weekend and we let them know on Monday the 19th that we wanted them to put in the unit. They originally told us that they would not be able to install the new for another week because of other jobs they already had lined up, however, on Tuesday the 20th they called my wife to let her know that they had a job cancellation and they would be able to get our unit installed that day. By that afternoon they had everything installed and working. Absolutely an amazing experience. Completely stress free for such an unfortunate event. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Richies was a blessing in disguise. My air wasn’t cooling in 90 degree weather so it was about 85 degrees in my house. They told me the morning I called them they would be out after 12 pm. They came at 8 am and fixed the issue within 20 minutes. Thanks Richies I recommend them to anyone. I called multiple company’s but Richies had the best quote and great customer service

I don’t even know where to start. I will say one good thing. He responded and had one of his workers put within the hour and was upfront with 2 items cost. Then he fell to hell hard and fast. I’ve never ever been treated as poorly as he treated me. First the cost of the job was double what I expected. When I asked him about it he said and I quote “it’s your fault because you didn’t ask”. I explained when i go get car done, they quote me and give me all of the info and prices. So i said so if your wife went and had work done, the cost was double, but she had been quoted for a couple items, it would be her fault? He said very condescending, “Absolutely”. He just keep saying “Absolutely”. So I finally said, well, “ I am highly educated, own 3 homes and going to be buying more, so I will “Absolutely, let everyone, including realtors, friends, linked in followers, etc., know how you work and how you treated me”. I then began to give him my credit card info and he was silent so I asked if he was ready. He said “no I am not. I’d very much like to talk to your husband if I may”. So I said sure, but yet again, he was degrading as if I couldn’t handle the situation. When I spoke to my husband and explained everything, his responds,I am not going to speak with him. This was between the two of you, and he is a “Absolutely, deserving of a bad review. Who does that and NO, you don’t withhold information and then come back and say,”it’s your fault you didn’task.” Im going to call and leave a message. Following that, Rich called and left him a message saying that there was a miscommunication, and that the money isn’t worth a bad review and that “ as far as he was concerned, we didn’t owe him.” A day later, I I received the bill for the full amount 1075.00. I then sent text messages twice asking about it. I also sent an email to the person who sent the bill. No response from either. I thought maybe he would only charge me for the price he had told me about because we did have the work done. “Absolutely” don’t recommend this business. I “Absolutely” will share this with everyone that I know including builders and realtors. I will “absolutely” never use him again!

The two workers that came out were very professional. The team came to my house the same day I called and were finished getting my air back in 30 mins. The cost for the job from another hvac company was estimated to be 300-400$. Richies did the job for 145$. Highly recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would. They triple charged us for the cost of Freon and didn’t even attempt to fix the root of the problem. $500 and a week later we are back to square one. Absolute garbage company do no use!!!
