Called Bowmen at 8 am when they opened because my AC was not putting out cold air. They had Doug to my house before 11am. Doug was knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions and allow me to watch him work ( that is how I learn what my unit should be doing) He was able to diagnose the problem and fix it the same day for which I am very grateful. I have been using Bowmen for many yrs and hope to always be able to depend on them to treat me fairly and get the job done. I would recommend them for your AC needs!

Never will I use Bowman HVAC in Jax again! Will never have another Goodman Product either. Less than a year after they installed a new heat pump the compressor died. Then took 5 days to get a the parts. Try 5 days in Jacksonville Florida in September without A/C. I only had to 3 nights but my poor wife had to deal with all 5. Neither Bowman or Goodman stood behind there product for anything but the compressor. Not for the Freon? Not for the other parts needed to replace a compressor and not for the technician’s labor. Made the warranty a joke as I paid $735 less than a year after paying $2,500 to replace the heat pump they said needed replacing with the unit they recommended.

I had called several heating and air conditioner services to get a quote to pull and clean the evaporator coil on my Trane AC unit. Bowman was the only company that gave me pricing for the job to which I felt was reasonable. Their technician Doug, did a very thorough cleaning and ensured the unit was fully charged with freon and the system was operating properly. I was very pleased with his work and his not minding me watching him and asking questions. I will be using Bowman Heating & Air Conditioning in the future and Im proud to rate their business 5 Stars.

I am very disappointed in this company. After looking at my AC unit on Saturday and determining the problem could not be fixed the same day, no problem. They would call me back next business day to give a quote. But the problem is the worker broke my outdoor faucet and did not tell me. I found out it was broken later that night. This person also put a black band over the water hose to stop the flow of water because it would not shut off! Why would the worker not tell me!! How can I trust a company that does this? As of today I have not heard back from them with a quote and dont want to. Money gone down the drain and more money to fix a faucet!

I had a diagnostic check done, which cost me $105.00. This price which I feel was a little high compared to other advertised companies in the area was not disclosed to me by the customer service rep or by the technician. The invoice had no itemization or explanation of how the cost was determined, i.e. cost of labor or label of fee. The technician told me that I would need a replacement valve, at which point I asked him if he could discuss potential costs of repair and potential costs of other viable options of repair. At this point he was unable to provide any information, deferring me to wait for a call from his office. My concern was whether I spent 100 just to tell me that I knew already....that my AC was broken, or would it be applicable towards my initial desire of repairing my AC.I contacted the office shortly after the technician left to inquire about the cost of repair. Bowman contacted once they were able to get information on the cost of the valve to be replaced. The cost was $825. The $100 I paid would be deducted and the final cost would be $725.I asked the rep how the breakdown of the fees were.... essentially, how did they reach that price, (cost of the valve, hourly labor costs, etc.) Her reply was that they dont provide that information, the price is just given.Now, I personally dont know what a valve would cost, however I dont believe that its even half the cost of $800. Which makes me wonder whether a price was just pulled out of the air. What really bothers me is that the cost of new AC units start around 800 bucks!I feel like I got overcharged for a simple diagnostic, or at least I feel Bowman failed to disclose their price. Moving towards repair I was given a price thats simply not justified even when asked. How is the repair of a valve on a unit $800 bucks when the unit probably cost that. I personally dont feel comfortable moving forward with this company. Ill probably contact Sears, so I know what Im spending my money on.

Very fast service and MUCH better rates than at least two other places I called (less than half the cost of one of the big name places). My AC was back working very quickly.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BOWMAN HEATING AND AIR!!!So far beyond fed up with the run-around received from this company. They were hired to install an 8kw Goodman combo heat/ A.C. unit on a new buid. 6 months after moving in the air conditioning unit is dumping mold into the house. -This is an enclosed unit that only requres the inside air filter to be changed, no other regular maintenance as confirmed by the tech- I have already had to throw out over 3k worth of wooden furniture that was contaminated by the mold. All of this caused by a faulty install of the drain pan (confirmed by their own technician) which allowed condensation to over flow the drain pan and sit in the air handler.Bowman has been notified of this and after not returning my calls for 2 weeks now tell me that they will not stand behind their installation of the product. They will not replace the unit that is dumping mold into the house for my 4 month, 19 month and 7 year olds to breathe in around the clock(not to mention myself, wife and pets).DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BOWMAN!

Very professional company ran by honest people. Quick response time and very knowledgeable technicians. The other companys wouldnt even work on my air conditioner and told me if they did it wouldnt last a month. Bowmans technicians found and fixed the issue and its been running for over three years now. CALL THEM before you have any repairs or replacement of equipment done. Take my word for it you wont regret it.

Miserable people that want to milk you for all your money and watch you shrivel away during floridas summer scorchers. Jewels and the entire team are incompetent people that dont care for anyone but themselves. Also the owner called himself the master of a/c, which I thought was a bit egotisical and completey untrue. They know nothing about temperature. I dont think they even know how to freeze ice or spark a match. Also they fabricate their reviews online.

Last year I had Bowmans heating and air to come out to my sisters home they repaired what another air-conditioner guy messed up they was propped on time and the price was reasonable I have personally use them for the past 10 years I would recommend them to all my friends

Bowman installed my unit and I couldnt be happier. Everyone from the receptionist to the technicians were very professional and friendly. They stuck to the timeline and cost estimated. If I need any type of AC service in the future, Ill call Bowman again.

We called Bowman Heating and Air at 4:45 on Monday and they were very professional. they had a tech out first thing Tuesday morning and problem was fixed. i would not use any other company then Bowman for any ac repairs or purchases.
