I have used them in the past, and I was happy with the service at the time. I would have rated them at 5 stars back then.I called them on 08-03-21, I was told that they might be able to get to me on the same day, or maybe in the morning. My phone call was answered right away, around noon time.It is now the afternoon of the following day. My first call to them went unanswered, the following calls ring once and go to voice mail.Someone should have called me yesterday, letting me know that they would get to me today. Not answering the phone and sending me to voice mail suggests that they are not interested in my business.
Taylors Heating & Air is FANTASTIC. From Tammy, to Sherry, to Dana. You cant go wrong! They are responsive, courteous, professional and definitely treat me like family. They installed my AC, maintain my AC and do everything they can to make me comfortable. They have gone out of there way to keep me satisfied and a happy customer. I will never go any place else. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend-10 Stars.
Yesterday late in the evening I lost my air-conditioning. The temperatures were in the upper 90s and because it was late, I decided to wait until this morningat 8 AM to call your office. It had been several years since your company had installed a complete AC & Heating system for my home.When I called this morning I was pleasantly connected with Jaime,and after locating & updating my file, Jaime reviewed my concerns.Jaime was polite, respectful and eager to help.I know that this time of the year is very busy for air-conditioning installers and service companies, however Jamie carefully listened and after a few minutes said let me see what I can do. I honestly expected the person on the other end of the phone to tell me, “I’m very sorry but we’re so busy with service calls,we probably won’t be able to get to you today.”Thankfully, that was not the case.Jamie acted with genuine care and concern to try to resolve my problem as soon as possible. She said, let me see who I have in your area I will get them over there as soon as possible. Again, I expected to wait several hours with the temperature rising inside the house to 90°.At 12:40, Jason appeared at the door and said, if you can tell me where the unit is located and I’ll let you know what it looks like. Shortly thereafter, Jason told me it was a capacitor and he’ll have it working in a few minutes. By 1:15 Jason removed the old part, installed the new part and said you should start to feel it cooling in a few minutes. Jason also told me that the part was covered by my warranty, and I only had to pay for the service charge.How could I ask for anything more ?To say I was thrilled with your service, is an understatement !!!I would highly recommend Taylor’s Heating & Air Conditioning service to anyone.Thank you for your honest, friendly service !Sincerely,John J. Amazing company. Excellent customer service when I needed them. They were there on time and installed my parents system with ease and had them cooling and heating again 1 day before New Years Eve. Couldnt have asked for a better job or group of guys to complete an install on a Holiday like that. 5 Stars to you guys!

This summer we thought our ac was on its way out. We finally called Taylors when our office air was a few degrees cooler than the mid July heat. Our service tech showed up in 20 minutes, and jumped right into the attic. Very friendly & knowledgeable - He was able to make a simple repair to our unit & duct work making our office bearable again, with only a service charge. 3 months later, our ac is working great for less than $100!Thank you!!
Taylor Heating and Air installed a Carrier AC unit for us in August of 2016, we had issues within 6 months and it took them almost a month to come out since the parts and labor were covered under warranty. When they came out to repair the unit, we reminded them the duct in our bedroom had not been finished properly they said we still had 60 days left on our parts and labor warranty, not only could we not get them out to repair the installation issue they dodged our phone calls for 2 months. Now at just at 2 years old we woke up to 85 degrees and the unit short cycling. We are good about keeping up with our maintenance, filters, vinegar/bleach rinsing the drain line, etc.. . We called to advise Taylor of the issue and they stated we would have to pay $105 for the technician to come out and tell us what was wrong, I asked if a repair was necessary if the $105 would go towards the repair they said no, any repair would be additional money. I was forced to call around and find another Carrier Dealer to honor my warranty and agree that the trip charge would of course go towards any repair. Thank God for other Carrier Dealers who actually had concern for our issues. I strongly recommend you skip over the name Taylors Heating and Air Conditioning as the work the do is substandard and they do not stand behind it.

Had an appt for them to come repair heat/ac at my business today and they did not show or bother to call and let me know, been without heat since Tuesday...tomorrow is Friday, its near freezing temperatures right now in Jax. Give a common courtesy call if you cant make it!! Very unprofessional. I am Disappointed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Last summer when we had issues with unit not cooling properly...technician came, and gave me some story about how to check everything accurately he needed another person to be with him because it was on the roof etc...so i then had to wait until next day for them to diagnose and do repair. ALWAYS AN ISSUE WITH THIS COMPANY!
I received such great service from Steve and Adam at Taylors! They were timely in responding to my call for help when my AC quit working and very informative on the situation with my AC unit. They gave me plenty of options to solve the problem. But its no surprise that the experience was so wonderful seeing as how they have been in business for 47 years!
I called for a technician to come see why my 2 marine ac units were not cooling. The tech stated my head preasure was high. Not knowing anything about ac I ask what needed to be done to fix the problem. He started going into needing new raw water pumps ect. He said he would go back and research what else the problem may be. So he charged me $95 and did nothing. I never got a follow up on what I needed to fix the problem. I asked a buddy at the marina what he thought and he said, simple, flush out your system with freash water I did just as he said. It took me 15 min for both units and both ac units are working like new! Bottom line is this... I called a professional out to service my ac. He came out, did nothing and charged me $95 and left with both ac units not working and no idea how to fix it other than buy new equipment from them. I would think a competent honest professional would have known to that all my system needed was to be back flushed. My guess is he knew. $95 quick bucks and possible equipment sales and installation. I will never use this service again and will discorage anyone I talk to in using their service.

BEWARE! If you’re interested in buying a new HVAC system or spending $85.00 an hour for service and buying replacement parts, I can promise you that Taylor HVAC will be Johnny on the spot. If on the other hand you’re calling them to service the poorly preforming HVAC system that THEY sold you earlier, GOOD LUCK with that one! It’s been three weeks and at least a dozen phone conversations since I first contacted Taylor HVAC relative to the rapidly failing HVAC system that Taylor sold us when we bought this house. Twice now they have been NO SHOW, NO CALL. I’m still waiting for someone to call and let me know when Taylor can have a technician and a “decision maker” to actually show up at my house and tell me what it’s going to cost me to repair and or replace the crappy HVAC system that Taylor sold us.
Goes beyond the scope of good costumer service
Taylor Heating and Air charged me $540.00 to install 2 cooper lines on the outside HVAC. They had 2 guys there for 3 hours, the job should have taken 1 hour, but 1 guy left and had to get cooper lines from shop. Why didnt he bring it with him?????? I would have to say the are rip offs and my company will never use them again. Please stay away from them....
