You come in and give it all, and he responds. He is so helpful in keeping my body fit and healthy! This is my regular gym because they all have different types of equipment to assist you and an attentive trainer. Recommended greatly! My fitness instructor is mixing it up all the time, challenging me. He expects you to do the best you can. Well, hes the best!✨

Everyone was so helpful when we signed up and still are everytime we go in. Hot tub sauna massage chairs steam room and indoor swimming. Also classes in and out of the pool. So much to do you could stay there all day!!!

I signed up with Vasa over a year ago. They closed the gym down dude to COVID and continued to charge me monthly after the gym was closed. Not only did they charge me, they sent me to collections for it and it now sits on my credit. I tried to dispute the charges and even said I’d be willing to pay for half but that I shouldn’t have been charged for memebership after the gym was closed. They didn’t accept my dispute and I’ve sat on hold with Customer Service two times for over an hour and nobody ever picked up on the other end. I’m going to have to end up paying the balance to get this off my credit. This is not right. Had they have gone about it another way I’d still be a member. The gym is nice, but they are frauds. Read the fine print before signing up for a membership Bc they will continue to charge you even if THEY CLOSE THEIR DOORS!

This gym is a 10 out of 5 at certain times. The rest of the time (after work rush, mid morning weekend rush) it’s not too great. The facility is the best I’ve been to around Indy in terms of quality, accommodations, variety, and overall atmosphere. It’s premium in all aspects. It unfortunately falls flat on two major issues:There are way too many people for the space and way too little plates for the amount of equipment. It takes multiple laps walking around and waiting just to find a plate. I’m used to waiting on equipment, that’s fine, but any gym that experiences this kind of crowding always has racks full of plates. It severely detracts from the workout to have to do a lap looking left and right for whatever pair of weights you can scavenge up to simply complete the next set. This, on top of the excessive crowding, makes it more of a hassle than a joy. There are always multiple people waiting on a single piece of equipment and it becomes a guarantee that you either adapt your workout to include entirely different movements or stand around waiting and losing the sweat.All in all, you can get great workouts in and the facility is the best around. Just avoid it at the rush times (which is hard to do for anyone working 9-5). I think they could do better by (dare I say it) increasing the price of limiting membership like other high traffic gyms. You see this often in a lot of cities.

My husband and I opened accounts a few months ago. We enjoyed the gym for the duration in which we were members. We tried to cancel the membership because we are moving to a complex with a free gym on site. In the process of cancelling, we were told both accounts were cancelled but we found out later that mine was left open. I only knew because I got an email warning me that I had a pending transaction from VASA, we called and they said that fee would be waived and we would be fine. A few days later, the fee was taken out and we had to use the *awful* online help service (because they hung up on us on the phone three times) and they said that we aren’t getting that money back even tho it wasn’t our fault and so we were charged, in all, $145 to close our accounts. Lack of communication, awful customer service. Not to mention, no sight of a refund for their error… but thank goodness they waived the $25 cancellation fee *the second time* we had to cancel. Just be warned that if you try to cancel they make you wait until they get their monthly and THEN you can cancel after paying for a month you can’t use. In all, we liked it when we were members, but it all goes to one star when you’re treated like garbage for just needing to cancel.

I had been wanting to go into and VASA out for a while to check out the pool and Silver Sneakers classes. My activity level during COVID had dropped off drastically and I was starting to really feel the effects.My past experiences with large gyms have not been positive because I do not fit the profile of the fitness industry. I sat down with a young woman who asked my fitness goals. She carefully listened to what I said and gave me a tour of the entire facility. I was impressed with 1) the cleanliness of the place and how she focused the areas of MY interests. She explained everything thoroughly and made sure I had the VASA app downloaded on my phone and understood how to check in, sign up for classes, etc. I left feeling respected and valued as a person and a customer. Thank you.

Pro - large, well equipped gym, has a lot of different workout options. Cinema was neat, used the elliptical while watching a movie.Cons - crowded. Even at 9:30 on a Saturday morning we had to wait on some equipment. Building was also very warm.

Overhyped individuals living in their heads rent free around there. Can’t workout without headphones or someone (guy/girl) will walk up to u and tell u what u need to increase or do different. Or they stalk u out south, better off going to la for the pervs

Gym offers alot of options including pool and basketball court. Was not satisfied with customer services and gym is always too busy. Didnt always feel comfortable while at the gym because of the huge crowd which stopped me from going entirely. Would be better worth the money each month if gym equipment is available at your own leisure instead of having to wait for others to finish. I did however receive a call from corporate that corrected some issues I had while cancelling which is why I now changed from 2 stars to 3. Thanks

Good classes and equipment but staff really needs to do a better job policing members who do not put equipment back. People are not re-racking weights and leaving safety concerns by leaving their equipment all over and not putting it away.

Plenty of Olympic lifting platforms. Bumper plates are readily available as well. Cant beat these amenities for the price.

It’s a cheap gym granted, but I’ve been to a lot of cheap gyms and this is by far the worst. Expect a lot of steroid users with poor form screaming while they hog equipment for an hour. If you like people who are respectful gym users and wipe down equipment, de-rack their weights, and act in a general respectful fashion… you’ll hate it here.

I started working out at this location almost a year. I cannot complain at all. The staff are super friendly and give all the information you need. The equipment repair turn around is super fast. Nice equipment and spacious. This gym is managed how a gym should be managed and it’s a clean environment.

I went to cancel my membership but terms were not made clear so I was going to be charged over $100. Then when I called corporate they went down to $78 but they said that the last day of my membership will be July 28. That would be also the last day the payment of $78 will be due. Instead they charged me a month early and now they won’t even refund their mistake! Poor communication and poor service! I would recommend everyone stay away and go to planet fitness instead.

I love being a member at VASA. The gym is always clean and the variety for workouts is fantastic. They have tons of group classes, machines, and recovery services.

All gyms are busy I understand this but this gym has people walking on top of eachother after 4pm to 730-8. Choose when you go wisely

NOT YOUR TYPICAL VASA EXPERIENCE. COVID WARNING. dirtiest and most obnoxious vasa ever. the facility is filthy! no wipes anywhere. all machines have sweat puddles in the cup holders. if u touch under a bench or seat, it is STICKY. so gross. there is trash everywhere around the edges, this place is already a victim of neglect. foam rollers and other equipment seemed used for 20 years. and i found it hella annoying that none of the bench/incline/decline benchs have any weights. and the music… vasa has the best music and they blast it at other locations, but u can only hear the music in the bathrooms and all u hear is people hollering like animals, its quite distracting. Vasa PLEASE open a location in Carmel, IN asap.

Horrible communication between team members and corporate. I Canceled both MINE and my WIFES membership, paid the cancelation Fees no problem. But Vasa failed to cancel HER membership and charged us 60$ anyway. When I called to rectify the mistake, customer support refused to refund me the 60$ but cancelled my wifes membership.They are a greedy company that wont take ANY responsibility for THEIR OWN MISTAKES. DO NOT GO HERE

Best Gym Ive been to in Indiana. Unmatched anywhere in the State. Prices, Location, and Equipment puts anywhere else to shame. 100% necessary if youre serious about lifting.

Terrible experience with this gym. Employees don’t know what they’re saying when you’re trying to sign up. Just give you false information. Told me I wouldn’t get charged the $50 annual fee until next year and kept guaranteeing it after I asked him 4 times to be sure. Just don’t like being lied to especially when this gym has all these fees.

Love Vasa!! I use the pool for now...with my disabilities it makes it easier to get my body moving. Small steps to better health!!

This is a fantastic gym. It has every amenity you could ever want. It is a little pricey, but so much is included in that price. I would reccomend the second least expensive pass. It gives you everything youll need. Tanning, swimming, racquet ball, equipment, weights, dead lifts, cycling, classes, massage chairs, etc.

This is the best gym I have ever been to. The staff is awesome, the gym is clean and the anenties are unbeatable for the price. I highly recommend this gym.

Terrible. Gym bags and bottles all over the place, blocking the floor pathways. Have to constantly step around the stuff and people yell at you for asking them politely to keep stuff to themselves. Staff does nothing about it. Absolutely disgusting.

I froze my account and the day it automatically unfroze after the 90 day period ended, I re-froze my account within the same day but they still charged me the monthly fee ? They also charged me thev$10 to freeze my account, so I would have been better off leaving my account unfrozen and having the benefit of actually using my membership for the entire month...when I emailed them they said sorry because it was unfrozen for those few hrs they charged me the fee and cannot refund it.

VASA Fitness is incredible! I couldnt believe the affordable price - same price as the leading affordable gym, but with way more amenities! I dont mind paying the extra $10 (above the other gym) annual fee to get access to the pool, sauna, spa, basketball court, etc! This gym has everything you could ever need and INCLUDED fitness classes! (On the $22 membership) One of my friends teaches Zumba at my location and it was so much fun! I could not recommend this gym more. It is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they have so many options for your workouts, youll never get bored! Love love love this gym.

I cant even tell you how excited I am that VASA decided to open up so close to home! I literally can leave my house at 5:55AM and still make it to a 6AM Studio Red Class! AND you cannot beat the prices!! 👏Coach Tracey and Coach Sable are freaking AMAZING! They bring so much energy to room! Im thankful for their playlists that make you feel alive and want to jam out early in the morning! They push you and also help you with form, while also offering modifications when needed. I really like this gym, it’s always clean and they fix the broken machines quick and the staff is always attentive and friendly. Probably my only suggestion is they should pay a little more attention to the wipes containers because sometimes you need to wipe the machine out after a workout and some of them are empty

Has all the equipment and pool with hot tub .but only one ab exercise machine thats already accessed with weights. Makes it hard if some one already using it and my time is short .

Aside from peak hours it is perfect. Everything is new. Most people wear masks and clean before and after weight usage. Much better than the LA Fitness employees (and patrons) with cleaning protocols.

I signed up for the pool but when I went swimming i was dodging floating bandaids, gross Film, and a ton of hair. It was not clean at all.There are tons of hidden fees so make sure you read the contract closely. It’s low monthly payments with random fees to lock in that rate, which is fine but just be aware.I tried to cancel my membership after only one single visit because the pool was gross and I was left unemployed due to Covid but was still required to pay the $50+ rate fee, the membership fee for the entire month, and a cancellation fee. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars just to go one time to swim in a nasty pool. I asked for assistance and was met with no help from customer service from their corporate office.The only positive is the staff at this specific location Is super nice and helpful.

I am so happy this gym opened and is literally a 7 minute drive from my house. Sable and Tracey make the experience for me! Their Studio Red classes are challenging, fun, and they both are very encouraging which is important for 6am classes throughout the week. I would highly recommend Vasa and trying one of Tracey or Sables classes!

They can’t even respond to membership inquiries. It’s like there just turning away money???? One simple email can’t be responded to.

I went with a friend and I was truly shocked at this fitness center they have what seems to be a great layout . I only enjoyed the Hydro Bed and the Tanning on the guess pass tonight . The one thing that bothered me was the amount of people who were not following the guide lines with the mask mandate, and not 1 employee would speak up to the members of Vasa. So I doubt Ill be visiting any time soon, nor getting a member ship

Bad experience this morning they suppose to open up at 5am on Saturday they didnt open until 6:50am i had a 20minute workout when I came in i explained to the front desk this is my first time here she said im sorry this never happens the reason and just dismiss the situationi only had 20 minutes to work out is because i didnt know my way around the gym which the front desk seemed to ignore that fact as i was leaving she apologized again which doesnt mean anything its your actions...i said to her i just moved from Philadelphia and today was my 1st day she didnt say anything i said to her can i make an appointment to get someone to show me aroundSO GLAD I DIDNT GIVE UP MY LAFITNESS MEMBERSHIP

VASA has been a great addition to my fitness life. Personal trainer Tracey has made a big difference for me. Having someone there every week to help you meet your goals that truly cares is rare. She has helped me with macros as well as personalized fitness routines that are both helping me reach my lifting goals. When the plan that I was on wasnt working for me, she had the knowledge to know what changes to make for me and now my plan is working for me. She checks in on me throughout the week as well to make sure that things are still working. That kind of caring and passion is what makes her so great.As for the gym itself, the gym is really large and has a lot of different options for everyone at every fitness level. Classes, a pool, leg lift area, machines, free weights, lots of benches, two different cardio areas, turf area for other training, sauna, steam room, hot tub, tanning bed, hydro massage chairs, and an infrared bed. With so many options, it makes the price a bargain.

I recommend every single part of VASA. From the staff, personal training, kid care, group fitness, machines, to the facility itself. You are welcomed by great front desk staff, the energy in the facility is bright and very motivating. You can get so much out of one facility. My personal trainer Britian Foster is AMAZING and always pushing me to keep going. The group fitness classes and studio classes are energetic and very motivating with instructors that are always on point with high energy. The sauna and steam room are very relaxing. The kid care is amazing with activities for kids to do. It’s an overall great experience and I can’t wait to see my results on my fitness journey with VASA as my gym.😊

I signed up for VASA prior to the mask being mandated. I have never went one time and tried to cancel my membership and VASA is trying to make me pay another 25 to cancel on top of a 30 day notice. I get that was a part of the agreement, but Ive never went once and they are trying to get more money out of me and we are in the middle of a pandemic. They are constantly calling and harassing me about paying and are not empathetic at all to what is going on in the world right now.*Their comment on my review is all for show. I was contacted but harassed again about paying them more money even though I have not used their facility once.*Update* The never cancelled my account, they never called me and today they withdrew $50.00 from my account. They have stolen my money. I have not used their facility one time. Ive never even walked in the building. They care nothing about what is going on in the world right now and they are selfish and greedy and will steal your money even if you dont use their services. They are crooks! This is a horrible company!!

I love the gym on Thompson road. Tracey is my personal trainer, and she is awesome. Her personality, and support are awesome. I seek her out, everytime I go there. The staff are constantly busy, either touring new people around, or being personal trainers. I wish they had analog clocks on the walls. I use my watch, but it would be nice to have clocks so members could time their rest periods. I always tell them, but they say it is up to corporate. I wish it was open 24 hours as well. I cannot get to the gym at 5 a.m. when they open, workout, shower, and get to work on time. If they opened at 4 a.m. that would be awesome. I love it though. Tracey, is my rock

I was very excited to have a gym come to Indy that was affordable and had a lot of options. I had canceled my membership due to the pandemic and getting into home workouts. I talked to somebody at Vasa corporate and they were rude about it and tacked on a bunch of charges. I told them to just cancel it. Months later, I am still being charged and when I went to confront them about the charges. They had no documentation of a previous call about anything. They continued to want to charge me ridiculous prices for things that are not even in the contract. Beware of this gym. They dont care about you, only about the money!

I’d give it 5 because is the most beautiful facility I’ve been in. But out of the many workers that work there, only 2 or 3 have shown good attitude and do their job well. The rest of them look as if they are being forced to work there. I have seen them being rude to other people, and they have not been very welcoming to myself whenever I ask something simple. It’s a shame because they all look like people that other young individuals could look up too, but they are not doing what they are getting paid for, which is be in a front desk to perform a good service to the customers.

My wife and I were checking out local fitness centers and stopped by VASA on Thompson Rd. Went to the front desk to ask some questions and were told we had to sign in first. We did that and were told to sit in waiting area. A young woman came over and asked why we came in today? Replied we wanted to start working out, my wife said why else would we be there. The person turned around and left, then a Young man came over and asked the same question. He was very cold and acted like he didnt really want us there. We asked if we could get a tour of the facility and he said no, we could walk around by ourselves. We asked if we joined if someone could show us what the various machines did and how to use them he said No, He said there are pictures on the machines for that. We asked about the basic membership and extras and he sighed and acted like we were bothering him. So we got up and walked around, it was a nice facility, we went back to speak to him and he turned around and started to shuffle papers, ignoring us. So we left and joined another fitness center that was more welcoming. Without a friendly and accommodating staff, the equipment doesnt really matter.

For a relatively new facility, they struggle to keep it clean. Showers are gross. Green fake grass is dirty or greasy everyday I go in.

Ive been to almost every gym in Indiana and this is hands down the most up-to-date, uplifting, and amazing gym I have been a part of. Even though it is busy during the day, you never have to wait for the equipment because there is so much variety in there. Its NO CONTRACT, and if the $49.99 annual fee keeps you from investing into your health then Im sorry. But for a multi-million dollar facility, Im more than happy to pay $49.99 one time a year to use such state of the art equipment. The amazing staff, members, and everybody there makes it such a great place to be and to continue my fitness journey. Thank you VASA! There really is no other place I would rather be.

What i experience on my visit just drop your plant fitness which is next door and go there its nice and spacies and you get to the equipment you want to use. And the price is excellent too.

I would just love for one time to not deal with the rude attitude on the other end of the line. Working out is great...facility is wonderful.....people at the counters not so much when they have to answer questions over the phone.

It was pleasant but seems a little under staffed, the lone staff member looked harried and flustered but was always professional and courteous.

The Vasa representative I talked to back in may confirmed my account was cancelled but according to the company that handles the payments theres no information about my account being cancelled. So I was charged for this month and If I want to cancel my account I have to pay the next months fee as well. Dont waste your time here unless you plan on being a member until your final day on this earth.

I am paying for the middle grade package which includes sauna and steam Room . They both have both since been shut down For over 6 months . I called corporate to see if they would adjust the pricing since I was unable to use these amenities and I was told that because the hydro lounge and tanning and light therapy rooms are still open they couldnt and wouldnt do anything to reflect my pay.My wife did not attend the gym for about 5 months & I for three and they would not deduct any amount from our account or credit in any wayMy wife and I both purchase the lock-in rate which guarantees your rate if the pricing goes up, which it did not and we were told it was a one time fee, but not. It is at a annual Charge, every year !Very misleading.I will not be renewing my membership

Kenzie was like a ray of sunshine! She welcomed me in,I said Ive never been in before. She radiantly took me around and showed me all the things I would like and told me about the things I could do, like the movie room,the pool, and Zumba! Im definitely joining and its because of Kenzie, she should be manager, felt like I have a friend at VASA, good job!

I came because I heard it was a clean facility and wanted that for a child care for my little. The staff has been great thus far. I personally come back each week for my trainer Tracey though. She keeps me motivated and is teaching me new ways to incorporate different tools to live a healthy lifestyle daily. Not only have I benefited from Vasa, my whole family has!

This is an amazing gym, it gets a little busy but its a new year every gym is like that right now. I signed up online for 17.99 downloaded the app and walked in and worked out I see some of the comments about the amount of people but I have never had to wait around for equipment and right now this place is the flavor of the month it will die down my only concern is I really hope the gym works on holding there members accountable as far as racking weights and keeping the area we all use clean. I was a member at LA and those gyms have become nasty and very dirty I hate to see bad members ruin a beautiful facility like this one but I could see that easily happening so fingers crossed.
