I was driving from coast to coast cross-country and needed a gym that was open late. I found Anytime Fitness. Cavin was an amazing help and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a serious workout. Thank you again
I recently visited this location when I was in downtown Indianapolis. I found the staff to be very professional and helpful. The facility was very clean and had everything I needed to do a full body workout!
As a college student the pricing is absolutely perfect. Also, I can’t say I have ever had a negative encounter at this Anytime Fitness. The gym itself is small, but I personally prefer a small gym over a large one. The sales manager/personal trainer is super nice and helpful when it comes to working out on my own but also as a client. I don’t have any major flaws with this building as well because it’s always nice and tidy when I arrive. Overall very satisfied and highly recommend for all college students as well as those living in Indy as well!
I am from out of town and wanted to use the gym over my weekend in Indy. I could not gain access because the doors were locked. If you plan on using this location and are not a local. Replan.
Amazing gym in the heart of downtown Indy. Very clean, laid back and great views from the wrap around windows. The manager Cavin is also great - friendly and goes above and beyond to help out customers. Highly recommended!
Every person has their own reasons for the need of a good gym. This location is never packed with long lines and is more personable. Cavin is easy to talk to and he actually listens unlike Big Box gyms. Contact him and check it out for yourself. I’ll definitely be back soon.
Spoke to cavin was only here for a day and wanted to workout. Great service and gym. Gym has everything one needs . Will come back when in town.
Very convenient location in downtown Indianapolis. The staff is very kind and energetic. Cavin went out of his way to assist me with getting access to the building. Yes you have to pay for a key card, but that is the cost of doing business downtown and frankly it’s a great security feature. Never packed so you can get a good workout in a timely fashion.
Giving it a four starts as you need to buy a card to be able to go to the second floor of the building, you can pay for it during staffed hours, $20, once in the second floor your keyfob works as in any other location, the gym itself is nice with 2 areas facing the street and the weights in the back, 2 bathrooms, one for women and other one for men, showers included, very convenient when traveling to Indy.
Perfect size for my workout needs.
If you are living in downtown Indy and need a gym look no further. This place has everything you need. Cardio, strength equipment, and free weights. Staff is friendly and gym is clean.
Had a great experience using this location. Gavin was very helpful and took the time to help me into the gym. Gym was clean and well kept. Will definitely be using this location again when in town.
Unfortunately a $20 key card is needed to get in after hours, otherwise awesome gym
I had a great experience at Anytime Fitness downtown Indy! Cavin, the gym manager, is very polite and professional. This location provides all your necessary equipment from squat rack, smith machine, free weights, cables, and cardio machines. Everything was pretty clean, and members are encouraged to wipe down equipment before and after use. I think this gym is great for first time gym goers to well-experienced lifters who want an intimate, low-key atmosphere. 24-hour access is also a plus!
Great and really private. Not too many people there at one time.
I have been going to this particular any time fitness for the past month now and I love every thing about it! They have all the equipment I need to make sure I always get a great work out! I have a trainer named Cavin that has been over seeing my work outs to make sure I’m always on track he also happens to be the general manager of this particular gym. Even tho he is probably very busy running the place he still has time to make sure I get my work outs on my any time app always on time! I do enjoy very much the fast that it’s open 24/7 because I have a very weird schedule so I don’t have to be in a hurry to make sure I don’t get there before closing time. That’s definitely a plus! Over all I give this place a 5 star review for their cleanliness, work ethic, and care for their costumers.
Great place to workout and its never crowded, thank goodness. The place is much larger than one would think. If you want to workout with all the major equipmen, this place isnt bad.
Very nice gym. Its open. Good price, good policy, great people
Was in town for the day and found this gym near my hotel .. Great staff and their personal trainer was really helpful.. Great location in the heart of downtown. Will definitely be back 💪🏽
This is definitely not an Anytime Fitness. It isnt open on weekends or early hours, only during normal work hours. Its $20 for a pass to get in any other times. Definitely dont get a membership here and probably just dont visit either. Im glad there are so many other AF locations in Indianapolis, albeit not as close to downtown. As you read the comments, note that they also consistently handle customer relations poorly.
Best gym in Indy. Its never crowded, only cool motivated people in there. Has plenty of weights and benches. The staff are super cool and always great you at the door. Theyre dedicated to the training and will always answer any questions. The only downside is the parking and you need to key card to access the building and elevator after hhours. If youre in there before 5pm on weekdays you dont need it. This has been my homebase for over a year and Im loving it!
Very difficult to get to at night for an out of town and experience.
Walked over in the morning from the hotel I was staying at since you cant get in during off hours. I use anytime in about 15 different cities with no problem. Tried to swipe my fob at this location about 10 times, door never opened. The beauty of anytime is going to workout anytime...not when you can get your hands on an access card and the door may oray not open.
Amazing staff & perfectly equipped gym, very clean & professional. I would definitely recommend to anyone located or working in the downtown Indianapolis area.
Thank you josh for the quick and easy signup for my two days workouts. You understood my needs and got me taken care of.Will be keeping my fob so I can go to other anytime fitness around the country during my work travel days!
This one is okay. You do need an elevator key to get to the second floor. And the only way to get that is to go during daytime and buy one. But if you like to workout early morning or in the evening you need a key. So if this is not your regular gym I would avoid this one. Also it is small compared to the other Anytime Fitness and there are no TVs in the weight room.
Do not read these reviews and feel discouraged, specifically if you are from out of town and looking for a gym. Theres a lot of misinformation.Heres whats true from my personal experience:- You need an access card outside of staff hours to gain access into the building.- If you intend on using the gym outside of staff hours they ask for a $20 deposit that will be returned once you return the buildings access card.- All it takes is one simple email (or phone call Im assuming). Gavin immediately responded and explained the necessary steps to gain access to the building and gym after staffed hours. He even offered to arrange a drop off of the buildings access card if I was unable to make it to the gym during staff hours to pick up the card. The staff took an inconvenience and turned it into a pleasant customer experience, and I would have no qualms if this had to be my home gym.
A great downtown gym with all the facilities you need, well maintained and personal training with Cavin is the best. If your visiting from out of town call ahead first.
While stopping in Indianapolis for a layover, i was in need of a good workout. I stumbled upon this conveniently located gym. I stopped in and got a day pass. I was greeted by Cavin and Josh they gave me a tour of the facility and were very welcoming. The establishment has good, clean working equipment and was very easy to navigate through. I had an excellent visit and would recommend to anyone in the area or just visiting.
Yet another review to express disappointment that this Anytime Fitness is located somewhere that isnt available any time.I feel that if you are attempting to live up to the promised standards of a certain business (in this case the Anytime model). Your facilities should make an effort to allow that.By being in a separate commercial building that has its own limited hours, this branch of AF does not fulfill the promise made to club members to be able to fully utilize worldwide facilities.Extremely disappointing.
This place is a joke. Good luck trying to get your membership canceled. If you ask to talk to someone with a real business ethic Daniel Kuznarsky will give you the runaround. He is rude and will not listen to a thing you say.
I was staying downtown for a business trip and went to Anytime Fitness Saturday at 5:30 am to discover that this location is on the second floor of a building that requires a card key to get into the building. I called the phone number and left a message explaining what happened. Later that morning I received a call from Cavin Childers (Personal Trainer) explaining that I needed a key card for the building. He offered to drop the key off at my hotel so I could work out at his location during my stay. I was surprised at his offer and how nice that was of him! I cant say enough great things about this type of service! The gym is small but, well equipped. Also, it has a previous generation of Life Fitness machines which are smoother and function better than the newer ones that I have at my home gym in Illinois! I wish we had the older equipment as it works better. I highly recommend this gym and the service that Cavin provides. I am guessing he would be a great choice as a Personal Trainer based on his outstanding service he provided! Thanks again Cavin!
I was in town for one day and got a great workout done. I emailed and also called to ask details and received a call and an email the next day. The staff was professional and friendly. Thanks!!
Minimum equipment but can get a good training. After hrs no access . Key card for downstairs revolve door needed. Heard theres a charge for the key . Never crowded. Parking can suck.
Work outs
Nice gym, in the middle of indinanapolis. Simpleand small, but kind and quality members... Makes me wish i wasnt just visiting...
As has been said before, you cant get in after hours and who had time during the day? Not really liking trying to use my membership in Indy. Either the locale is scary, or it no longer exists, or you cant get in to use it. 😩
AF downtown Indianapolis. I have had 4 workouts at this gym recently. I believe I will have several more before I leave Indy for home. The entrance is on the second floor of their building. During working hours, M-F, you can get up there with no problem. After hours and on the weekends you need a special card to work the elevator and sometimes the external door to the lobby. Call and ask them, and they dont seem to have a problem giving AF-member-visitors a card. I think this gym is probably the smallest in total square feet, but they have most everything that is absolutely needed. The front room is the cardio equipment. Then the next is machines, and then down a hall to the free weights. Typical 1 squat rack, Smith machine, and leg press. BUT, there are TWO free olympic bars, so you can do deadlifts while someone else is doing squats, etc. Standard dumbbells up to 100lbs. There are some minor machines missing, but it is a floor space problem. The machines are Life Fitness which I personally am not fond of the weight stacks in the machines. No TRX system. The typical busy time at most other gyms is not very crowded at this one, because people are getting out of the city to get home. There is a restaurant right below the gym, and I noticed a bit of a smoky haze in there when the kitchen gets busy. Overall, this is a good gym if you work downtown, or are staying at one of the many hotels for work or one of the many conventions that take place in Indy.
Pretty useless to have a 24 hour gym you cant use because its behind locked doors you cant open.
It ain’t “Anytime” if you can’t use the elevator without help from the valet out front and the staircase gets locked at 5:30 p.m.
Key cards for other locations dont work here. Had to pay for parking and then couldnt get in. Dont go.
Trash you cant even get in the building
Do not make plans to go here outside of normal business hours, if you are from out of town... There is no way to access the elevator to get to the 2nd floor gym, if there is a way there are no instructions for accessing. Very inconvenienced and plans for the day, where I would be showering and getting ready for an event, were thwarted. This is not a Anytime Fitness location.
Best gym in Lafayette
No free parking
Not an anytime anytime fitness
This place is not staffed during the hours listed on the door. Calls are not returned.Tried a few times to sign up..
Hi, I just moved to Indianapolis, I would like to know what it takes to be a member of anytime fitness.Do you attend in Spanish?
