After much deliberation decided to give LaserAway a try. Frankly this place does not disappoint. The staffs are friendly and they clearly explain the procedure, so there are no surprises. The underarms and bikini procedure took 15 mins in total and there was mild stinging sensation(given pain levels are different for everyone). Clean place and they were clear about the after care which helped me to numb the pain. I would definitely recommend this place.
First, I bought my package in 2017 and I am grateful that Burlingame location is honoring my session. I made my first appointment to redeem these sessions and worked with Karen! She was incredibly kind as she greeted me before we entered the treatment room. Her professionalism showed as she explained how the session would go while taking a moment to update/review any changes to my health since my last visit. I appreciate Karen’s crystal clear communication throughout the session. She made me feel completely comfortable and gave me tips for getting the most from each treatment. Could not have asked for a better experience! Wish I could work with Karen for each future visit. Karen, thank you so much for going above and beyond in your customer service!

Bad customer service. Cancelled my appointment stating machine failure and would not even reschedule a new one until you call them. even if you call them, they call you “lucky” for getting a time slot.. I mean I paid for it, I booked for it way in advance and now they won’t even reschedule and say you can’t do appointment in the next 4-6 weeks..has been happening this way for the longest time, been very patient but they continue to be rude… cannot wait to finish my treatments here and would never recommend anyone here..
Completely unprofessional and anti consumer.I just bought a package for my husband. Paid half up front. Surprised him with it at dinner.I got a call hours later, the LaserAway rep canceled my payment without my consent and told me I’m going to have to pay more because they misquoted me.I was told a manager wouldn’t be getting back to me until the next week. Several days later “Customer Service” offered me a smaller package for more money per treatment and told me they are completely unwilling to honor my purchase. Moral of the story. You can purchase a package from them and they may say “sorry, you need to pay us more”I’m livid. My surprise is completely spoiled. This isn’t the first time they’ve messed me over but it will definitely be the last. Go somewhere else if you want to be treated with respect.
Make sure you read ALL FINE PRINTS before agreeing or signing ANYTHING at this place. And dont worry, no matter how many specific questions you ask, Im sure Danielle will politely use her words to manipulate you into making purchases that will unknowingly open lines of credit and HIT YOUR CREDIT SCORE HARD, and then pretty much blame you for it all😊🙃 the unprofessionalism of this lady... whew. Luckily Krystal was understanding enough to hear my frustrations and just help me fix the issue. all in all I was still charged full price for a service that I also wasnt give proper information on how to do home care for👍🏾. Guess who WONT be going back ever again 🤗. I wouldve given zero stars if that was an option, so this star goes to Krystal and Krystal only, she is pretty much the only good experience I had from there
I bought a Groupon on Feb and have tried contacting them multiple times to set up an appointment. They make the appointment especially hard with an initial consultation and the second they hear Groupon, they stop responding or showing interest. I had been texting back and forth with an expert after my second initial consultation and for a week waited on a respond for a laser appointment. I am still waiting. I finally had to ask Groupon for a refund.
I started removing 3 tattoos in Feb 2020 and only managed to receive 4 treatments in a year through Laseraway. Despite the terrible and rude service I received from the employees, I also showed no progress on my tattoos. Every time I went in there would be someone new handling the laser and it was appalling that they didn’t even know to put numbing cream on me and made me do it myself including my back. I moved in Jan 2021 and they don’t have laseraways here so I started going to a private business to remove my tattoos and I saw 100X more progress immediately after the first session and they told me laseraway was clearly scamming me and were not even using the proper lasers on me. When I called laseraway to explain that I moved they told me there was nothing they could do and that I should fly into CA to complete my treatments and that they will not stop billing me every month. What a waste of time and money. Do not use!!

I have been going to this laser away for almost a year and recently they had some amazing staff. In the beginning I had a wonderful RN do my treatments, but she is not there anymore. Then I had a girl who doesn’t seem very happy much. But yesterday I had an amazing RN who was helpful and supportive. The front desk is always smiling and laughing. I’m always excited to see a smile and someone who enjoys their job.
Blossom is great! She is professional and at the same time has a way of putting you at ease during the treatments. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in hair removal.On my 4th visit, I had the pleasure of Lydia performing my treatment. She also has a way of putting a person at ease. Compassionate and caring while being professional. I would highly recommend the Burlingame location as it is the only one I have used. Staff has always been patient and informative.

I had my first appointment with LaserAway this past weekend for a laser hair removal consultation. LaserAway was recommended to me by a YouTuber I like, Luna Montana. The clinician I met was welcoming, informative, and friendly, and she made me feel at ease. After deciding to go through with the procedure, I elected to go with a two-for-one bikini area and underarms promotion and got set up for interest-free financing. My first laser hair removal appointment was yesterday morning. The procedure was quick (~15 minutes for both areas) and the nurse, Darlene, was the model of professionalism - she made me feel secure and comfortable. Although there were a couple of points of mild discomfort during the treatment, I was pleasantly surprised at how mild it was (I know it differs from person to person). Im looking forward to my next appointment and making more progress. So far, there has been some irritation that feels a little like razor burn, but nothing too bad. Ive been very impressed with LaserAway so far!

I had many rashes on my face with pimples. I went to lazeraway Burlingham for a Clear and brilliant treatment. They told me they would numb my face and do and the treatment would not hurt. But the treatment was so so painful. It felt like they were literally peeling my skin. After the treatment they told me there will be some change. Yes the change was my face rashes increases 100%. My skin was so ruff n ugly for a month. I requested for a refund and cancelled the treatment. They mentioned that they will do it. But it was not done and when I contacted them again, they said I need to pay for the one treatment and that is $400. Very bad customer service.

I am extremely disapointed right now. I came early and this nurse (Indian) just told me I am not a candidate For coolsculpting even though I got assessed at two other places and at this place the week before and they told me I am. she was also rude and didn’t apologize.Also at no point I got told prior to my apt that I was not a candidate, even if there was a shadow of a doubt I would have taken my business somewhere else and not loose my time! Why a reassessment? Based on what?On top of that I sat there for 45 mn waiting when they told me to come 15 mn early.Also I wasn’t told prior to my apt that because I had clear and brilliant I couldn’t get my upper lip lasered!Lidia my nurse of clear and brilliant and laser was good but again it doesn’t compensate for the underperformance and lack of professionalism of all the other nurses there.I will take my business somewhere else once I am done with my 3 sessions of laser and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

THIS IS A COPY OF MY YELP REVIEWIm going to be honest, I dont write a ton of reviews, thats usually my wifes territory, but this directly affected me, so here we are. My wife and I bought a HUGE hair removal package from laser away at around $5K.At the initial sales meeting, there were a ton of promises made. Were both very light toned and have dark hair. What they called perfect candidates. We asked about what to expect, and we were told 80% reduction. Not bad, right?After 6 sessions + 2 retouching sessions, my wife was at about 35% and I was somewhere in the 20% reduction rates. Honestly, it was hard to tell anything had happened.I reached out to them and let them know how dissatisfied I was with the results. They took some pictures and told me corporate would get in touch. Thats when things got interesting and not in a good way. I received an email from this mysterious corporate giving me 2 free touch-up sessions (hugely insuffienct based on my experience) and a ridiculous legal waiver I had to sign to get them.In this legal document, they want me to waive my right to hold them liable to ANYTHING. I can basically never speak of this, and if I get the two free sessions and I get burnt or they harm me in any way I waive all legal remedies. Im a corporate executive who has worked in the medical space and I have both legal and ethical issues with forcing people to sign waivers to get the treatment they have paid and are entitled to. DO NOT SIGN ANY SUCH WAIVER.I will be in touch with their corporate team after speaking to my attorney and will update this review accordingly.PS: The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because of the nurses whom Ive had good experiences with.
Everyone here has been very professional and well informed - they have their system down! I have been very pleased with results.
In my session -the rep was so rude and she was so unfriendly. Did not even help on shaving for the first time for neckline specifically which i actually was told that i will get help on that when i will get my first session. They dont care they just try and complete the session . Very unfriendly environment and i had to wait for almost an hour after booking my slot.
I finished my 8th and last laser hair removal about two months ago. This procedure reduced my hair growth at about 30%. I am a little disappointed, because when I signed up for this I was almost assured by a few of the girls working there, that I basically won’t get any more hair when the process is complete. I knew this won’t reduce my hair 100% but I wished for at least 80% reduction. I still need to spend the same amount of time shaving as I did before this. At my second to last appointment, the front desk lady mentioned that my laser package appointments should last about 45min each. Well all my appointments lasted about 25-30min each. Maybe if I got the full time of my procedures, I woulda had better results. Or maybe it was done on purpose, so now I can call and schedule those 3 touch up sessions they are offering at a 50%off price. Kinda feel like I’ve been ripped off and didn’t get the procedure I was promised and I paid for.
