This place is amazing! Elaine is an amazing instructor. I like how she tells us how to do it and doesnt show us. It helps people understand better in my opinion. You can ride English and Western here. I would definitely recommend going here. Bonding with your horse and learning together is the best part! :)

My fiance and I had a fun time during our first horse riding experience here. Elaine made sure we got acquainted with the horses and got to saddle them ourselves. Their horses have pretty distinct personalities so youre likely to find your horse-match there. Would go back again

I did not like this place. The workers were grumpy. They made little kids go into the stables by them selfs with the horses where the horses could easily hurt them. Most of the people I was with had never road a horse before and all we were taught was how to stop. The horses are not well trained and are really hard to control even for someone that knows how to ride a horse. The whole time one of the workers was yelling at use with a megaphone. The trail ride is boring and passes a marijuana farm.

This Barn is basically my second home. I go here everyday, because we board our horse here, and because I just love it so much and enjoy to be there. I started riding 4 years ago, and it is a great place for all age riders, with a lot of experience or none. The owner, Elaine Herrold, is a kind, hard working person who wants to help riders and there horses every way possible. A lot of the time, construction is done, because the owners are building a new barn, but that does not influence the ride or the horses. Here, my horse can have a happy, safe, and healthy life, and my family can learn how to ride and connect with horses better. Whoever does not like this barn has not seen it completely yet. I love this barn, and it’s a big part of my life.

We had a wonderful time at Herrold Stables on an arena/pasture ride for two adults and our 5 yr old. It’s a beautiful place and it’s clear Elaine knows her stuff and the horses are well cared for. We met such nice people and hope to return!

My daughters been riding there since she was 5 years old! She is now almost 10 years old. The most unpretentious, down to earth people are here, and Elaine, who owns the stables, is an amazing instructor. She is patient and kind, yet firm. My daughter has been riding here once a week for the past 5 years. We love Herrold Stables!

My mare loves it here. She has been so much more relaxed sense we moved in a few months ago! I give this barn a five star! Thanks for always keeping her stall clean and bright! She also loves the paddock so she can enjoy the Oregon sunshine, but dart back into her stall when it rains.Thanks again to the great Herrold Family!

Herrold Stables provides an exceptional riding experience. Elaine is an excellent instructor. She is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Her horses are gentle and well-mannered, and the barn is very clean and well-organized. We highly recommend Herrold Stables.

Elaine is a wonderful, patient instructor. She provides a great foundation for any beginning or intermediate rider (child was not engaged in advanced riding at this review).Her horses are experience and patient, yet lively. Herrold Stables lesson horses are tolerant of beginning rider mistakes. I recommend.

Elaine is patient and explains what I need to learn and improve on. She kindly chalkenges me and it makes the experience very enjoyable. Her horses are calm yet still have personality. I can never wait for my next lesson.

Weird experience. I took my little ones for a pony program today and was really disappointed. The instructor was not interested to interact with kids and was not concentrated on us. She was talking to her grandson most of the time who was following her around on bike. Before lesson she asked to bring cash but did not have a change after, then we tried to use my visa card and it did not go through.Will not return. Not a professional place. More interested to get paid than to make a good experience for people.
