Love this place. High Intensity Interval workouts on stationary bikes. Workouts are set to music and designed so you can follow the beat for your cadence. Been going for about two months now and the place is super clean, the staff is very friendly and the workouts are tough but satisfying.

This place upset me quite a bit in the beginning we were told we would have 3 free rides, I brought my daughter we completed our first ride it was good. I scheduled our 2nd free ride but was told this would be the last one, which was fine but we had to cancel due to Covid cases in our household. We booked again and was told we would have bikes for March 6th. When I reached out today to confirm tomorrows rides they told me I was out of free rides and would have to pay. I screenshotted the message saying we still have a free ride left and pretty much said that although I am not happy about this I would like to pay for our bikes tomorrow so we could ride and I was told they didn’t have those bikes reserved for us even though I screenshotted and sent them proof that I was told it would be free and we will have bikes for tomorrow. Sadly, I feel like this place undoubtedly lied to us about free rides or even having seats for us. They literally had my daughter and I in tears since we talked about riding this whole week just for the day before it being ruined. I would not recommend this place to anyone they don’t care about their clients

Horrible experience! I’m a pretty laid back guy. Hard to upset. I’m actually not even the kind of person that writes reviews. I had to share however, the poor experience I just had. I’m not from Indianapolis and was therefore not familiar with the location of this studio. As a result I arrived 3 minutes before the class started and was told I could not ride. I have attended many cycle studios and like to support the lesser known ones. I know how hard it is to gain momentum as a new business. To be turned away like that is a bit extreme and definitely not a way to build good connection with the community. I appreciate the response from the owner but also note that there is no mention of a policy of turning away new riders who are not 15 min early. It’s probably important to add that information if your going to be that strict!

Beware online class purchase, you will be put into a monthly membership billing. Corporate skills at work. The instructors and management were all friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the classes just dont like to be put into membership feesMy one star rating goes to corporate manipulation.

I really wanted to love this studio. I absolutely love spinning and have been doing it for nearly 10 years. I recently moved to the Indianapolis area and looked both near and far for a good cycling studio. I have tried CycleBar once before a while ago and wasnt the biggest fan but after exhausting all my options in the area, I finally decided to try this one at Traders Point hoping that my first experience was just a fluke. The studio is very nice and the amenities are awesome. There are shower stalls and toiletries available if you ever need to go somewhere immediately after class. The staff is very nice and friendly. The bikes are well maintained. All very impressive at first glance. While all these things are nice and pampering, the classes themselves can be much improved. There is very little guidance from the instructor and the movements on the bike lack variety and are frequently not to the beat of the music. So, if you want a good work out you really need to make it your own which can mean needing to create your own drills based on the music thats playing.

Wow. This place is so awesome. Went to my first class so intimidated. I’m not by any means “in shape”. But I took the leap and signed up for my first class. Julie helped me get set up and she was so awesome. She was so friendly, informative, and patient with me she made me feel totally at ease. The facility was so clean and nice, I was extremely impressed. So far I’ve been to 2 classes and I love this place. The instructors are so motivating and kind. I love the team comradery before and after class. Overall, I have never felt this comfortable at a fitness facility before. This place really is special! Excited to keep it up!

I love CycleBar traders point. All the people working here are so friendly and helpful. The bikes and the facility as a whole are very well maintained. The atmosphere is great. They have a number of instructors, each has his/her own style. There is not a single time I left the door without having a great workout.

I went earlier this week to a free trial class and loved it. The amenities are amazing, including hair ties, “shower on a wipe”, feminine hygiene products ect. They also provide orgagrd, water and bananas. As for the classes, they are the best workout I have had in years, and I know this because they email your your cycle statistics every class. Could not recommend more!

I really appreciate the younger man that helps with the shoes on Tuesday night. I am new to cycling and also have one leg longer than the other due to scoliosis. It has been a painful week, getting introduced to a new sport due to my crooked body. The younger man that works at the studio has been so helpful letting me try different sizes of shoes because I bring an insert to help with my leg length discrepancy. His customer service could have been the difference between me giving up due to pain or keepin’ on, because I got to try out different solutions without feeling like a bother. I’ve found a shoe size that is perfect now with my shoe insert & rode pain free tonight for the first time. Thanks for helping me stick with it by being so kind to let us try different shoes! It’s not easy trying something new - but you made it easier.

This is a great environment to spin in. The instructor are top notch. In combination with the music, lighting, and video, its hard not to maximize your work out and walk out better than you walked in.

Horrible. They billed me for a contract that I never even signed. Oh well, my credit card company will dispute it. They verbally told me I could go month to month, then when I cancelled verbally they still billed me. It states right on their website it goes month to month. Horrible customer service.

I gave CycleBar a shot because I had taken a SoulCycle class elsewhere and LOVED it, so I thought the two sounded very similar and it could be something that I incorporated into my workout regimen to mix-up my cardio game. Ill start off by saying that I was extremely impressed as soon as I walked in the door. The girl working the front desk was very bubbly and friendly (she was my favorite person that I encountered), and another girl began showing me the ropes as far as checking in goes, getting your shoes from your cubby, etc. I loved how organized everything seemed at check-in and how nice the facility was, but the class itself...meh.Once I was on my bike, I was completely on my own. Not being an avid cycler and never having been to CycleBar, a quick overview of the class and what to expect, having the bike screen explained, how to get the shoes off of the pedals (sounds stupid but those suckers are tricky for a rookie!), etc. would have been extremely helpful. Thankfully the lady behind me recognized that I was new and offered to help. Aside from the not-so-awesome on boarding, the majority of the music played during the class wasnt very up-beat (granted, everyone has their own taste when it comes to workout music), and you could hardly understand anything the instructor was saying between the mic being too close to her mouth and her shouting.Last thing - I would assume that a studio trying to recruit new members would ask newbies how their first class went, what their thoughts were, etc. I belong to two other fitness studios in the area, and both are extremely client-friendly and welcoming throughout the entire on boarding process and at every class afterwards. I really, really wanted to love you, CycleBar, but I guess I was expecting something different.
