We were looking for car rentals in the area of Hilton Waikiki Village and we happened to walk past Paradise Rent-A-Car on the way to breakfast today. Gazelle was very helpful and were able to rent a car for the day. We drove to our underwater scooter adventure and spent the rest of the day driving to some really beautiful places.

They always answer the phone, unlike many car rental places I called in Waikiki. They were a little expensive but ver helpful and got you in and out to your car quickly. They were very accommodating and went way out of their way to make make sure my family had a great experience.

Rented an SUV for one day to go snorkeling at shark’s cove. Right by the hotel, nice car, easy pick up and drop off. A bit pricey, but No hidden/extra fees. The woman working the desk was nice, efficient, and helpful. Great experience.

If you’re renting a scooter this is the place to get one! $75 for 24 hours, can’t beat it. Staff was very informative on how to ride and operate the scooters. We even rented from them twice that’s how great our experience was. Gazelle was a pleasure.

Booked a car rental and was charged $229.95/ day before tax. We requested a Japanese car and was given a white Nissan Versa. There was a tire warning upon leaving the rental place but the place was too busy so we didn’t bother letting them know and just drove away. This car did not have any back up cameras but the map guide worked and helped us a lot. The car was old and the wiper’s rubber needs to be replaced. The only good thing was great customer service who assisted us with the paperwork. They were very accommodating and professional.

Conveniently located and friendly staff. The people I encountered were knowledgeable about inventory and pricing. Cars were well maintained. Negatives were the high pricing (due to current demand on the island) and the hours of operation (couldnt return it after 430 so I had to pay to park at my hotel) but its great to have the option to rent away from the airport or downtown, especially same day.

Due to the car shortage in Hawaii it was difficult to find single day rentals. Gazelle was kind, helpful and able to find a car to fit our needs right away. This a life saver place. They can rental car without credit cards for 21 which offer a great help to us. It also totally affordable, if we came Honolulu once again we 100% would choose it again.

I’d Never been to Honolulu or ridden a moped before. The staff did not caution me on the high theft rate of mopeds in the area. Nor did they recommend I chain up the vehicle while it was parked. As a result, the moped was stolen and I was responsible for a $900 deductible. Thanks for ruining my vacation! Rent from apex mopeds instead, their rentals are much cheaper.

This place deserves zero stars. Upon entering the establishment the staff was very rude. They first ignored us and then proceeded to roll their eyes and act as if we were inconveniencing them. The car we rented was nice; however not worth it. We paid over $240 in order to rent the car which does not seem completely unreasonable except for the fact that the business charged us an additional $300 deposit. The staff at Paradise Rent-A-Car made no mention of this deposit, and failed to answer any of the calls and emails sent to them in order to receive a refund for the so called deposit. I DO NOT recommend renting a car through this company for all of the reasons previously mentioned. The staff is rude, the car is not worth the money and I promise they will not return any of your attempts to reach out to them when they charge you $300 without telling you first. If you plan to rent a car while visiting Oahu, go anywhere but here.

We rented a car through this company for a day. When we started it up on their lot, there was a problem with the key being recognized by the car. The porter assured us all we had to do to get it started was move the steering wheel. This turned out to be false. When we informed the representative from this company about this problem and how it made having the rental very stressful, his only response was that he was aware of it and they were waiting for a part to fix it. If you knew this was a problem, why didnt you make us aware of it and how to get around this issue when we picked up the car? A little communication would have gone a long way. What a frustrating experience.

Rented a moped, it was in good shape and ran good! Only thing was it was sort of expensive compared to other moped places I heard of (after I rented) through other moped drivers

A rip off:1. We rented the white camaro only to find out the convertible top didn’t even work after having 3 of their employees try to put the top down because the car was missing a canopy piece. They obviously didn’t check if the car was fully functioning before they rented it out. For $249 a day, I expected a rental that worked. They gave us the blue wrangler instead.2. Then they charged a late fee of $200 even tho it was returned at 9:51am, less than 24 hours from the time the first car the blue jeep was actually returned and the second car was picked up because the blue jeep was already booked for the second day. 😒3. Then they charged my credit card instead of the debit card that the driver used to pay for the second day rental. So even tho there was a different payment form for the second car, they still charged the old payment form, my credit card. 😤These people are super unprofessional and money hungry. It’s still cheaper at the airport online.

Car was filthy, had a shimmy. DID not mention filing up tank, or the cost if they did. $37 for a quarter of a tank? Front office is hectic and VERY unorganized. Back lot people very rude. Dont believe the 5 star reviews, they give you a 10% discount for it...

These guys came through when the island went into post-pandemic-tourism-shock close to Memorial Day weekend. Thankfully these guys were the last man standing in terms of rental car availability and they are a quick uber or shuttle from the airport. They had plenty of inventory when we arrived and we got an SUV for the rate of a sedan, which fit a 10’6” board from the passenger seat to the edge of the trunk. Noice. The cars are a little older and lower tech than what you’ll find at the airport, but you don’t need a fancy ride here. Plenty of Jeeps, bikes and mopeds too, seems like a fun inventory. Most major rental car groups are awful at redeeming points, especially in Hawaii, so just avoid their BS and give these guys your money! Mahalo!

I went to inquire about renting a car. The lady at the counter would not even look at me when I asked for pricing. I asked her a few questions but she was pretty rude.

When all, and I mean ALL car rental options were exhausted on the island due to Covid. Paradise came through for us and made our vacation complete with a trip to the North Shore, they even have jeeps if your lucky!

Don’t give these people your money. Rented two mopeds and wasn’t shown anything about riding them. Crashed and emptied my bank account along with breaking my toe. If you do rent from these people make sure they show you how to ride.

We reserved a minivan and Mustang one day before our island trip. The stuff explained all cars and price in detail, really happy to rent cars from them. The cars also clean with no cigarette smells. Will rent cars from them next time.

Rented a car to tour the island for a day. Was told the total was 268, checked my account later, 268 and 300 was missing, they never told me anything about taking 300.

The manager was very nice and helpful. He even changed to car for us to one we Preferred without any fuss. The rate is one of the best you can find in Honolulu. He was even kind enough to give some local travel tips and a free map. cool guy! Great service here! I would definitely recommend .

However, its been 3 weeks now and I still havent receive my security deposit back (300$ for a rental of 100$). I wrote them email twice and didnt receive any response back... We recently rented bikes at this place via the groupon. What a mistake. Older guy at the counter (presume to be the owner) was rude from the start. Bikes are in terrible condition, barely workable. My wifes bike would shift randomly on its own, making it dangerous to ride. We returned after a couple hours in to a 2 day rental, when I pointed out the concerns, it was shrugged off as no big deal.

Convenient as next door to where we were staying. Fair price compared to another place we got a quote and quickly sorted with no fuss. Car was clean and well kept. No complaints.

These guys were great. I was in and out on a motorcycle in15 minutes, very friendly, very knowledgeable. Great rates.If youre not into a big Harley, grab the Suzuki 250, a great bike for one person to tool around the island, no problem. 1.5 hours up, 2.5-3 hours back. Excellent!

I will never use any OTHER rental car company at KLIA! These people truly treat their customers like family (even if you are a random person from across the world!) Somebody stole my rental car key, and a very kind man named Albert rode the train all the way to my hotel to bring me a new key. When I had trouble using my credit card to pay for the key, he helped me find a currency exchange place to get money. Then, after he left, he came BACK a second time to help me jump my battery because I left the lights on! Then he told me exactly how to use the insurance on the car to get reimbursed for the key (including instructions on how to go file a police report at the local police station.) He did literally everything possible to salvage a tough weekend, all because he cares about his customers so much! We stood and talked for a while about his teams approach to customer service, and I can tell that this company truly truly cares about people.THANK YOU ALBERT! Youre incredible. Im so thankful for you and for this company!

Fantastic place to rent your car! Walking distance from the Hilton. Service was easy going and the folks were really nice. Rented a mini van for our family of 5. Got us around for all of our adventures and we had a blast. They were also super nice to include a much needed car charger.

I really enjoyed renting a car from here. They were the only place I found that rents cars to 20 year olds at a decent price! It was last minute also, and I checked in and out smoothly. They also gave me a cheaper price since I was renting the car for a week. The car was a red fiat, and it ran perfectly! I had no issues. From the moment we went here just for some information, we got super service. Gee was our agent and he helped us every step of the way. We rented some motorcycles I ended up with the Harley StreetGlide. We ride the whole island and had a blast. We were assured if we had any issues along the way they would handle it. We had no problems and the ride ended in a totally great adventure. Gee and everyone at paradise rent a car we professional and friendly. Now I might rent another vehicle maybe jeep this time.

Easiest car rental and return I have ever had. Used their service during the New Year. I was on my way to a different rental agency when I accidentally ran into their store. Reuben was a great front desk clerk. Made it super easy to rent a car from them. Gave me a better rate for that time than I would have got from the other rental agencies. Let me use a debit card which was important to me because a lot of agencies do not now. Have to use a credit card for most. Timmy, the main service man on the lot, was awesome as well. The cars are in good condition. There seems to be some negative reviews here about their services. I had a great experience. Next time I am on Oahu, I am seeking them out first to see what they can do.

Paradise rent-a-car has amazing and helpful staff. the car we got was clean modern and fit our needs. Despite there being some very minor damage to it. They are also one of the only rental companies that rent to under 21’s (at a cost, but not much). Being from Australia and 19 finding them was amazing. I would highly recommend Paradise Rent a Car!

Great place to rent a bicycle for the week. Came with a lock and helmet. I thoroughly enjoyed this mode of transportation for the week and it was much cheaper than taking a biki bike, which also has no lock or helmet included.Only thing missing was a light for night riding.

Staff was super friendly and offered great information as we toured the island. We booked a Jeep Wrangler at 8:00 am and we were cruising by 10:00. Another rental car agency in Waikiki failed to have the car we had reserved for 2 days available for us to pick-up on the day of my sisters medical appointments and out-patient surgery. We were in a bind as there were no affordable cars available for rent and our options were grim, until someone suggested Paradise. They had what we were looking for at a reasonable price AND they picked us up to shuttle us to their location. We were able to make our appointments and extend our rental for another day with just a phone call. Jay was very accommodating and had the laid back courtesy of a surfer. I would not only do business with them again but also recommend them to others. Mahalo for your service and for making things so easy for us.

So my mate and I recently rented a Mustang & Camaro for the day to drive up to the North Shore. For my personal score for the company I give them a solid 10/10. Everything from Jay who was extremely accommodating & professional. He made the entire process so easy and before you knew it we had keys to the cars which too were well looked after and incredibly smooth to drive with zero issues.They were a bit pricey compared to other places we looked at, but when you are provided with great customer service & a well looked after car I strongly recommend them.

We rented a car from paradise rent a car. We‘re three Girls under 21 so this was the only option for us on Oahu. We had a nice functioning car. The service was good, but it was expensive for us under 21 year olds because of the insurance. The drop of was really easy going.

Amazing service car was clean and the green ranger sure stood out which made it easy for us to find it in the car park. All seriousness amazing car, amazing service, and overall felt safe!

Friendly people and quick service. Rented a 250 and it was a little older than I’d hoped but it did get me all over the island for a week and a half just fine. Reliability was much more important than the bikes age. Overall good experience.
