I have been coming to Angel Nail & Spa for almost two years now. I came in once after a really bad experience at a different shop, it was raining and dark and I had been working all day. I was tired and I came in hopes to salvage my nails. These lovely women gave me their complete attention and focus and helped repair my nails. I have continued to come here over the last couple of years and always get a pedicure (if you’re up for it treat yourself to a deluxe) and often switch between gel on my regular nails & acrylic nails. All of the women who work here are talented and thoughtful and always remember a customer. They have continued to grow and are always super busy but never fail to make time the day of if needed. I never leave without a smile on my face and feel that I can ask for any of their opinions about a design, choice, or service and get honest feedback. I ALWAYS recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing location and I will continue to do so for years to come. 😀

The ladies here are always so amazing an on point. I rarely have issues, and when something happens (nail chip for example) it’s fixed right away and they are so sweet about it! I never have to worry about who my nails are done by, everyone is so skilled and kind!!!

My gel nails started chipping only 5 days after getting them done :/. Im used to my gel manicures lasting almost 3 weeks with no chips from other salons. I will not be returning here and I do not recommend getting the gel products from here since they wont last even a week.

They rushed my nails even though I had an appointment they are messy and she messed up on a color and instead of going back and fixing it she continued. Then told me to write them a good review in front of her on here and to my sister and friend too which made me felt obligates to do so. And over priced my set was $99 which I wouldnt mind paying if they werent rushed. But very nice staff and very clean and organized.

Busy place, lots of staff, which is nice so they can usually accommodate you if youre a walk in without an appointment. I went with my daughter, who got a full set acrylic that turned out beautifully. I had a French gel manicure done, which barely lasted a week.For the prices, which were higher than my usual nail salon by 10 and 15 dollars, I would expect a longer wear.But overall, a nice place for nails.

This place is a hidden gem! Lisa always does an amazing job, she is very good at executing my ideas. All the girls here are nice and friendly. The 30 min drive I make to get my nails done here are always worth it 🤩

The lady’s were super nice and did my design really well making sure I like every aspect of it, I would definitely recommend coming here!

My nails were cut too short and she had to re polish them because she was in such a hurry the gel lumped up. She blew off the fact I was upset about how short she cut them. 2 of the nails have cracked and the gel coats are dull and coming off at the ends. The only thing good about this place is the location. I paid over a hundred dollars for this manicure and pedicure. Im on a fixed income and wish I could have enjoyed this enough to go back. Transportation is an issue for me. Im bummed. Too hurried and distracted to do a good job.

Impressive! I love my set so much. They did not let me down my second time here. Though I did ask for a fill, but got a whole new set instead, it was even better. I forgot to ask for the nail tech name but she did an amazing job. I really like how she took her time to file my nails and made sure they’re even and neat and sharp edges. I like how she made sure to clean my cuticles and under the nail tip, and made the shape even better. I love how she made my nails thin.🙂 I would love to book her again for my next set. They were really nice, however I was charged $138 dollars for two gel pedicure, that did not involve any stone massage or paraffin wax. I recently moved up from Seattle and have never been charged that much for a pedicure, even with hot stones and a full scrub massage and paraffin. I won’t be back. Make sure to ask about prices before you commit to something here.

HORRIBLE!!! The first time I went there I was with my sister, we had scheduled an appointment but didn’t start to get worked on until an hour after we got there. 3 of our nails broke the same day and others chipped. We decided to give them another chance a few weeks ago and same situation we waited for 40 mins and still horrible quality would not recommend!!

My favorite nail spot! I love the cleanliness from when you enter the salon. My go-to nail tech is Mimi and she goes above and beyond with her attention to detail and she will keep you laughing and talking through your whole experience, if Mimi isnt available I can go to any other nail tech and I can say they will do a marvelous job! I never leave this place disappointed!

Update 9/29 (2 days later) + new photos 3 and 4: I have changed my review from 2 to 5 stars. Excellent customer service as promptly after my first review, the salon manager, Lisa, contacted me directly via phone call and text message to ask about redoing my nails for free. Today I drove back out and am so, so happy with my nails. Finally, this is the level of service and quality I expect and appreciate and is what I was used to in Houston. Lisa is phenomenal!! Ill be back.9/27Pedi is great but the shellac manicure has to be one of the worst I’ve had. I swear, no shop in this state can do nails. From Seattle all the way up to Bellingham, I always waste my money. Somehow my nails look worse than they did, bare, when I walked in here. Get better, people!

The owners and staff of this business are amazing. When I first moved to town I was quite lonely and I walked into Angel Salon and was treated like family. They are kind, considerate, and like to laugh and talk with customers. ... they really do care about people having a good experience. I have been coming back to Angel and telling others to come here because I feel so much better when I do. Excellent products, amazing color selections. My boyfriend now joins me for pedicures and has been telling his guy friends to come here too. Angel is the best nail salon in Whatcom County!!!

I have been a regular at angel nails for over a year now and the girls are always so kind to me! VERY welcoming (they know me by name) and attentive. I always ask for designs and they are always able to execute them. They have so many colors to choose from and they have just about any sticker, powder or other nail accessory you may want. My daughter and I decided to try a new nail salon. I made an appointment for two people to have dip powder manicures. First impression was nice. Nice decor. But thats about all I appreciated about my visit. I waited 45 minutes after arriving to get my nails done. My daughter was finished by the time I got started. With trepidation- I got the manicure. Within 12 hours I had my first chip. I went back and had it fixed. But now Ive had 4 additional nails chip. Its been less than one week since my appointment. My nails are wrecked and it looks horrible!!So I will continue to search for a quality nail salon. I will never recommend this nail salon.

With an incredibly diverse range of colors and techniques to choose from, I was very excited about getting my manipedi here. They do excellent and detailed work, making sure things are perfect and clean. Mimi in particular is your go-to girl if you want wonderful conversation AND beautiful nails. Her being able to make my nails look so delightful while also maintaining a fun and insightful conversation is BEYOND me. Shes fun, smart, and diligent. You can tell she loves her creations. The owner of the shop has beautiful dresses and her personality makes the whole room light up. Every time I come, she always has a cheerful personality and offers everyone DRINKS. Like wow! Its a great time. A very clean place. Very relaxing. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else.

I am a cosmetologist and I do hair and nails so I am VERY picky when it comes to a kind clean professional nails salon to go above and beyond. Since I came here the very first time a year and a half ago I won’t go anywhere else. They have great prices and always spend time taking extra care and extra detail into perfecting my nails!! Cece is my go to every time !! This is the best nail salon I have ever been to out of the four states and hundreds of salons I have been to!

Super clean and up to date on covid 19 rules. They have you sign your name with a clean disinfected pen. They take your temp and have you write down your temp as well. They have you wash your hands and they also sanitized my hands. My nails were looking so amazing as well! Highly recommend

I didnt like how they painted my nails. They didnt paint the whole nail. Just half. The massage was good but thats all.

Great experience! The best so far in Bellingham. Mimi did a wonderful job. It was a lovely pedicure that lasted a full-hour. Reasonably priced. Extra clean facility with great covid precautions (and Im very critical). Very relaxing with an extra long massage on my legs included, great job on the polish as well. Highly recommend. I can’t recommend them more!! Just perfection all around! I’ve had two fills so far and I love the shape, color and length of my nails!!! I won’t go anywhere else now!!!

Staff were unfriendly and rejected me an hour before closing. Made an appointment the second time around and i was rudely gestured to wash my hands and was never spoken too again. Unfair and rude treatment, do not recommend.

They are all chipping after a week and the thumb after only a day!

I brought my daughter in for her birthday.. We both got pedicures and gel manicures. This salon was very clean and the staff was nice and did a great and thorough job. I was a little shocked by the price for everything, but still very happy with the services. My manicure was done very well and is holding up nicely.

Was super excited to try out this salon but was very disappointed. I asked for dip nails with extensions and did not receive extensions even after asking about them multiple times and then being charged for them. I returned later that day to ask about the charge and was refused a refund. Additionally the woman was super rough on my hands making it an uncomfortable experience and put no lotion on afterwards which was surprising for the cost. Finally if I was to go there I would not get dip as the color turned out completely different then the sample. I will sadly not be returning to this salon.

I loved Angel nails. All of the girls were super friendly, my nail tech and I chatted the WHOLE time she was doing my nails. I got a gel manicure with tips to add some length and they came out so well. The great thing about this place is they can do just about anything when it comes to nail art. I had some crescent moons, stars, and evil eyes hand painted and they turned out so adorable. Highly recommend this place for sure!

Terrible service. There’s barely and color available. The staff isn’t punctual. I had to wait for 1 hour and they still didn’t do what I showed them and charged me for it. I recommend never going here!! Very bad service.

Ordered deluxe mani pedi. Got a pretty good pedicure but the manicure was lame! Walked out with ragged cuticle and side edges. There is a sign that says posted prices have been increase due to extra Susies needed due to Covid restrictions. Ok. No mention how much upcharge. They charged me $20 more than stated price. $20!!!!! The real amount you are going to charge needs to be posted. Additionally, what the owner of this business is doing is unethical. Taking advantage of pandemic to charge more than actual cost of additional supplies needed is actually illegal. Charging more than POSTED price is illegal. Do not shop this business.

Myself and my daughter drove up from Oak Harbor because I checked their reviews. I was not let down at all. The attention to detail was great. Only one nail wasn’t top notch but I feel like if that is my only complaint since I didn’t notice until the drive home, it’s not bad at all. I’ll definitely be back! These ladies are awesome.After my second trip, I’m not nearly as impressed. I feel like basics should be doable. After her trying to correct things I didn’t like it was careless. Bubbles, uneven acrylic, and just less than impressive work. I wish I knew the lady’s name that did mine the first time because she took time to check all that.

I got a pedicure here for the first time and the salon is great! You can tell they’re working hard to keep their customers and staff safe right now, which is so fantastic. It’s a very comfortable salon, obviously well cared for, and the staff are really nice!

These are my experiences.The first time I went here they filed down my long natural fingernails to nubs while I was getting a pedicure. I guess I should have been paying better attention but why they would they do that? (I actually cried. I had grown my fingernails out really nicely for my brothers wedding.) I guess it was to upsell me gel nail polish which was the only way I could make them look presentable for the wedding. Last Christmas I was given a gift certificate for a mani pedi which I could not use all year because of covid. I phoned to ask if they would honor the gift certificate now that we are in phase 2, even though it expired at the end of December and they declined to honor it. I feel this was a bad call. Firstly because I intended to get a variety of other services from them and take my husband along which would have meant income for them. Secondly, I now have 2 negative experiences with their establishment and will tell anyone who asks not to go here and I wont either, so they have lost numerous customers in the long run. Any suggestions for an alternative establishment in Whatcom County would be appreciated.

The ladies at Angel Nails are great! They make it relaxing and enjoyable whether you are getting a fill or pedicure. They even remember you by name! They do such a great job with my nails. Never have issues with nails breaking. I highly recommend them!

Absolutely loved it. Enjoyed every moment there from the time I walked in the door. I went there with my mother in law and 9 month old who was more or less pretty well behaved while she sat in the stroller.The girl who seemed the youngest of the 5 workers there did my French tip shellac nails and an older woman who only spoke a little English, did my pedicure. The younger girl who did my manicure was kind and didnt mind fixing any problems I pointed out, and the older woman gave a nice gentle massage on my legs.Usually Im pretty hesitant and sketched out when I go to get my nails done because the people usually seem distant due to the cultural differences and language but the atmosphere there was very pretty casual, relaxing, and inviting. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The building and restroom was very nice and clean, with tasteful decor and nice furniture.The massage chairs were very nice and a good quality. Im pretty short (411)so when I use those types of chairs Im usually too short for them to work well on me and never get a good massage out of them. But these chairs were just short enough for me and it felt great. Plus, if you know how some chairs can feel too rough or too soft no matter the setting, to me, these felt just right.While I waited for my M-I-L to get done with her nails, they offered us drinks(water or soda) from a tray which surprised me and was so nice. And while we were leaving it was raining very hard so my M-I-L went to fetch the car while I waited out side under the roof. Not a minute later one of the women rushes me to come back inside while I waited. Very pleased over all with my experience and despite their prices being a little more expensive, it was totally worth it and I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know and be back in the future!

Was great... however, they do not prime your nails like they’re supposed to. So they jump right into drilling/filing. My nails BURNED like crazy! It hurt so bad. The nails them selves were soo pretty. Nice design too. Good artists just bad techniques. My friend got a manicure and all they did was cut and file and coat and it was $42

Called in to make my appointment. I was greeted and Kim did my pedicure. The space is beautiful and Kim did an amazing job on my toes along with an awesome leg and foot massage. Their massage chairs are relaxing and the music they have playing really captures the relaxing ambiance. I was also offered a variety of beverages while I was getting my pedicure. Definitely will be back again!

Great experience at Angel Nails and Spa! The staff, and especially Lisa, were wonderful. Friendly and hospitable, they even offered bottled beverages and cookies! They also have a great selection of colors, and went out of their way to fix a few nails that were not drying correctly. To top that off the neck massage after the manicure and the leg massage during the pedicure were heavenly. I would definitely recommend this nail salon to anyone .

Lisa dod my nails today and did a phenomenal job. From what Ive heard, every tech here is incredible! I am super picky about my nails and the shape and every single one of my nails is the exact same shape. Im so happy I tried them and will be back for sure.

$50 for a very poorly done basic full set of acrylics. I’ve tried a lot of places in town and this is by far my least fav. Most expensive place I have been to in Bellingham. Gal didn’t say one word to me and when I told her she had cut me with the tool she laughed at me. Also my nails look nothing like the picture I showed her as an example.

LOVE this salon. Lisa does such a fantastic job on my nails, and she is so pampering. The prices are good. I absolutely love the atmosphere. Its quiet, relaxing and serene. For those of us who work downtown, the location is perfect. I cant recommend it enough.
