I had a dryer sheet that got dropped in the vent trap and I couldn’t retrieve. The tech had to take the dryer apart to get. I also asked if he could reverse my door while he was here and he said he would. It wasn’t easy but he was very accommodating and got it reversed. He went above and beyond and I was very pleased with the service!

Andry came out and repaired our refrigerator. He went the extra mile to get us our replacement compressor ASAP, and also to get it installed ASAP. He also took time to check out our toaster oven and really went beyond expectations in diagnosing the problem. Troubleshooting wasn’t as thorough as I expected only consisting of a check of the fridge temp and consult with colleague, but quickly assessed to be the compressor and shared it was an expensive repair. Perhaps years of experience allowed the quick assessment.

Our Icemaker repair was delayed be a few days as first replacement part that was shipped was the wrong part. So we were without ice for a few more days than we had hoped. But other than that, he did fine work. The initial diagnosis was quick and the replacement of the broken part was quick. 5 minutes for the diagnosis and no more than 15 for the repair. He also informed me of the delay as soon as he knew about it.

Overall, very happy with Big City Appliance Repair and Val. Val showed up within 3 hours and took care of business. The dryer is 12 years old and I need to get 2-3 more years out of it before buying a new washer and dryer due to the overall cost of buying them.
