These apartments are very nice and relatively affordable for the size. They are substantially bigger then they look, especially the two-bedroom options. The kitchens are well done and well designed. The staff here is understanding but usually grumpy.

This is nice community. I have thus far, lived here for 4 years. The apartments are spacious and the rent is always fair market value. All apartments have 2 full size bathrooms. All apartments have a full size laundry room and you can rent a full size washer and dryer or bring your own. The community is also walking space to not 1 but 2 shopping centers.My neighbors are usually respectful and stay to themselves. We have security in the evening and at night. The office staff are professional and informative.

I have roaches my first day upon move in very disappointing. Definitely will not be renewing my lease. Great size apartment unfortunately the roach infestation is ridiculous. Waiting for the response to the situation.

I have been here about 3 months so far and have not had any issues or problems. I cannot speak for the future though. I do believe that where your physically placed in the complex makes a difference as well to whether or not if youll be happy, and I can honestly say that Im very happy with my placement. I have two kids and there are a few other kids in the same age range that they get along great with and that makes a difference so. My only negative comment is that not all units are updated with the newer counters and appli and I have one of the outdated ones and no its not bad or anything by all means but the updated ones do look really nice, really nice and I wish mine was updated!!

Had an issue with my refrigerator I swear it felt like as soon as I hung up maintenance was there took care of the issue and was very friendly thanks again!

I moved into a different unit on the property, there were some problems that immediately were taken care of. Maintenance was friendly (not over friendly) and did their job to the best of their ability. I am pleased with the service I received at Bridgeport apartments.

My only complain is that it took at least two months before my dishwasher was fixed. I have to call numerous times to check why it’s taking long for somebody to come and fix it.after I requested the repair I have to make a follow up call and the person I spoke to asked me again what my concern was it seems like it wasn’t recorded the first time. When they finally came to fix it it got done and it was done in timely manner. That was the only concern I had the time things get done. Overall no complaint bcuz these was the only time that it happens on all the 8 years that I live in the complex.

Ive only been here less than a month so I cant really give a true review. I do however, wish the water in the showers got hotter. Maintenance came out to fix it but only the water from the sinks gets hot like I want it.

They took care of the issue before I got home. Great.

Been here since 2014, have not had too many issues that needed addressing. The only complaints I have is that the buildings can use a power wash, there is mold on my building on the outside. People have been throwing trash in the parking lots and we have a dumpster not that far from it. There should be more control over the trash dumpsters sometimes they are over flowing so it is nasty. Also older apartments could use some kind of updating especially if you have stayed here for years. I am not fond of the fact that the updates happen after we move out. Have had a few minor bug issues but they were addressed when called in, but I feel something else needs to be done besides having to call in every time to get pest control. Other then that I have no other complaints.

Abby is very good she gets the job done you can talk to her shes understanding if you have a problem in your apartment she will have maintenance at there in no time and lets not forget ariah which is Abby boss very good people and they get the job done.and a good maintenance team 😊😁

My daughters new car was broken into and stole from the Food Lion next to these apartments..the cops came and said they knew exactly where to look first for her car...Ten minutes later her car was found in these apartments..thanks to the Hampton City police department for their quick actions & experience...the same man stole numerous cars from Food Lion and is finally in jail.. clearly he lived in these apartments

Huge spacious layout, Walk In Closets, Excellent Location, Up to date Appliances, apt came with WiFi Modem and Free Month with Cox, puts you in mind of a Luxury Hotel Home, Affordable Rent, an excellent place to call home!

The neighborhood is clean and safe which is important because I have a child. My most favorite person in the leasing office is Ms. CC Dabney. She was very thorough with my application process making moving as easy as possible with no confusion. Shes very easy to talk to. She genuinely cares for her tenants also so whenever I need anything dealing with my apt unit or any concerns I contact her first. I recommend Ms. CC as the first person you want to contact when coming here to find a new home. Shes awesome!

I just recently was able to move into this apartment complex. I was more than satisfied by the fact that the staff was personable, attentive, and professional. In particular our leasing consultant CC. Because of my experience with her, Bridgeport felt like home before I ever moved in. Id definitely recommend living here to anyone who may ask. 5 stars.

I can honestly say the 11 months Ive been here.... I havent had any issues with this place....i have a 2 bedroom 2 full bathroom updated apartment.... It is very spacious..... I have seen like 3 roaches nothing crazy and when I told the office they took care of the issue fast...i also dont have any issues with the office staff.... They are always helpful....the maintenance staff is excellent....the only issue I have and cantDo anything about it.... Is the children running everywhere and playing in the streets

The apartment that I currently live in was move-in ready and I was able to get everything turned in and approved within 5 days. I also appreciated how understanding and patient the staff was when it came to resolving issues with the move-in process. The apartment is spacious and immediately gives you the feeling of home.

Ive been here a month or so theres been nothing but a good feeling. The office staff is and were very helpful. Coming from a different state I can say this was the best move Ive made . Thank you Bridgeport for all youve done.

Complex looks very nice and have many wonderful amenities included...spacious floor plans...private laundry, two bathrooms, pool and rec room! BUT, there are roaches! Which is very upsetting. Maintenance is wonderful, office staff I give a 4.5 out of 10. Most of the tenants are EXTREMELY LOUD, INCONSIDERATE and MESSY. Trash overflowing in the community, why the residents keep throwing garbage out of their cars...leaving it all over the premises, and simply not putting their waste in the proper recepticles for disposal, is beyond me. Disgusting. Children running the streets with no parental supervision. These issues can be resolved within the tenants and their guests, by being respectful of the property and the residents. Sadly, they do not. care. Moved here just over a month ago and Im ready to give my notice.

Rental office does not have control of property an alot of bad stuff continues to happen in this community that could be fixed if management would enforce rules

I Love my Apartment and Building i reside in..coming from Virginia Beach i thought it was gone be a hard transfer for me...but Jenny the Asst Property Manger is the best Also with Abbey Too!! The upkeep of the grounds and maintenance is wonderful!!!

Very nice the first year. This year I started seeing mold in my apartment. Reported it to the office they said it was my fault. Got housing involved my apartment failed inspection. Became very sick from the mold. Furniture and clothing was destroyed because of it. Rental insurance doesnt cover mold and the Office said she was not going to replace it. I dont like i was treated by the Office. I guess this seems like a matter for Wavy 10 on your side . Some one needs to be held responsible for my loss.

WOULD have loved the place but I decided that Ill be homeless VERY briefly before I deal with sarcastic inconsiderate, sadistic people. These people are so disrespectful on the inside but seem so nice on the core. IF you have KIDS dont bother or have other options seriously consider. There are many other places to go . They talk bad about tenants while your there trying to view a home - but guess what they took my money and lied wont give me receipts and god still blessed me with a ACTUAL NEWLY renovated home thats mine. I have excellent rental history. and they treated me like trash . Abigail and Jennifer. Then to keep her job and stay on their good side Aaliyah follows their attitudes. But she is really nice. She is just a follower. And does care about people she just has to follow their orders and gets me and rude when she sees they do. My mother called and they hung up on her. And tried forcing us to sign a lease BEFORE it was finished or before we ever saw it AND tried to get paid two times over by me and Regional HUD. Just plain wrong. Unbelievable. They hurt my feelings so bad Im a tough girl but I was so belittled and chastised for their wrong doing. It was ridiculous. All I could do was take the loss and walk away. But I will be suing them. DECKER FIRM !!!!!Karma is a full circle effect. Remember that. And just dont get involved if you are an honest person and dont like drama and being lied to over and over and forced to do things that are illegal.Not only have I reported them I have gone to the Regional/State and I will have taken all information to my lawyer Mr. Decker. I have never been treated so disgustingly being the kind individual I naturally am.

The apartment itself is lovely and very spacious. But i recommend a house.

Didnt like

The Tenants are very LOUD!!!! They argue with other tenants, baby daddies, and family members fight all the time. When you come from a long day at work people are sitting on the stairs and you have to squeeze by them, tenants upstairs are vey loud, you will hear guns go off its hard to relax in peace here. The tenants are always leaving trash outside their doors flowing into the breeze way. The Tenants are horrible If youre looking for a clean, peaceful area this is not the place to be but if youre use to this type of life style it will be a great place. The layout of the apartments are nice and spacious, if theres a problem maintenance will come right away. The Tenants makes this place a bad place to live. I HATE THIS PLACE!!!! Please do not let those 5 star reviews fool you. You will regret it later.

Landscaping make these apartments to be desired; however, the upkeep on the inside is another issue. Windows have just been replaced after tenants living in an enclosed environment with recurring mold for years. This shows their concern for the health of their tenants. Request to address and fix any issues that an apartment may have on the inside is never done in a timely manner, if at all. Etc.....

Diamond Pennix, your apartment may be nice... But soon as something happens out of your control they will harass your TAIL Like they did me... such weak people...really just Abby... I hope she is able to read this.... like she asked me being nasty to me for no reason at all...YES SOMEONE ELSE WAS THERE.... SO SHE CANT SAY SHE DONT SAY IT..... SHE SAID CAN YOU READ!!! FOLKS......THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE...LOOK UP EVERYTHING BEFORE MOVING THATS ALL IM SAYING!!!! I CANT WAIT TO MOVE up out of here!!!! ugh.

Ive lived in this complex for about 2 yrs now and its been great. I just love the community. CC Dabney from the main office has made my stay very comfortable more then what i can say about most apartments Ive resided in. Im happy and pleased to say tht Ms. Dabney will go above and beyond for you. She has taken care of my daily needs and have accommidated me and my famiy. If you are looking to find a new place to live I would really recommend Bridgeport Apartments. They are friendly in the office and most importantly a good place to call home.

Worst thing ever happened these apartments taking section 8. Ruined home owners property value. Thugs always at shopping center begging. Crime has increased tremendously.
