Nice area for my kids. The park near the complex is their favorite place to be. Everything you need is within walking distance.

Professional, helpful, and friendly staff. The process was mainly online which made moving in walk through about five minutes! The apartments are beautiful and quiet. They are near a nice little park, a beautiful elementary school, Woodward Park, and nice little shops that include a grocery store, pharmacy, coffee shop, restaurants, live music, etc!

Run! This place is a nightmare to rent from. The staff is rude and has a major attitude problem. They are not accommodating to emotional support animals even though they are required to. They are currently pushing out all current tenants so they can inflate the prices. They take away all parking from you and make living there a head ache. Then with move out they hit you with a strand of unnecessary charges that do not match how you left the apartment. Not to mention they give you the place beat up and dirty at move in. Save your time and rent else where. Yes it looks pretty but it’s not

I recently moved out of Dominion Heights. I loved my apartment and felt like staff was attentive. The only down side was the gate shouldve been closed more since its supposed to be a gated community. Overall, the location of the location of the property is great.

I’ve just renewed my lease here. I love the setting, the trees, park for the kids, lots of families and wonderful pool area! Staff are helpful and get back to you in a quick and timely manner and maintenance staff are always quick to help!

Unprofessional, price gouging, inflated fees, Selina Dominguez is rude and should be reviewed before working with any potential renters. 5 times income to qualify for apartment? Since when? 2020? This place is a joke.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Most regrettable decision Ive made. This place is overpriced, but the worst aspect about living here is the manager. She is an incredibly unpleasant person. If you have a complaint, such as someone broke into your car (which has happened to multiple people on this property), her response is that it is your fault, and states you should have probably paid more money to get park in a garage. Their sale of security is quite false. Had a neighbor whos apartment was broken into, which had no action because there is NO SURVEILLANCE within the apartment complex. My air conditioner was broken, and it took months to get it fixed, despite physically going down to the office on multiple occasions. There is also a bug infestation, which she will tell you, its to be expected in California. However, this is also not the case if you see the other apartments and houses in the area. If you have signed on, keep an eye out for unusual charges and increases in current charges. I can only imagine what it will be like to get a deposit back. You are told it is a gated community, which is also a joke as the gates have been left open day and night since the renovation, which is even more worrisome with lack of surveillance. It appears their only goal is to suck as much money as they can outta you.This place is not worth it. please do yourselves a favor, and find another place to live.

Love these apartments! The staff, especially Melissa, is nothing but friendly, helpful and fantastic. Maintenance are always on time and responds quickly to anything wrong with the apartment. The complex, neighbors and community is quiet & very respectful. Never had a complaint or any trouble at all. Recommend for everyone!!

I can no longer enjoy the convenience and safety of my keypad door lock due to a clause in the lease. My lease states that I can request written permission for the modification. In an effort to keep the lock I attempted to obtain said written permission and offered to give them the code for emergency entry which they denied outright by saying “you can submit the request, but I’m not going to approve it.” I My last apartment never had an issue with it and certainly didn’t speak to their tenants in such a condescending way.

I have been on my search for a new apartment for about two months. I might be relocating to the Fresno area for work and was referred to Dominion Heights by a coworker. Im in town often so I decided to stop by for a viewing. Heather was very attentive to my specific needs and answered my questions thoroughly. We looked at the gym and pool and the model apartment. It was a pleasant experience and if I do relocate, I will rent here.

Oh my gosh. I have lived here for almost 5 years and I have loved it. The staff is amazing. Sarah, Camille and Robbie are the best. They feel like family. I will really miss them but intend to stay in touch.

The experience in this place (Dominion Height Apt.) was terrible. My family has been harassed several times and the management would not help at all. We moved here last year may, by August, we started getting notes on our door step, huge bangs on our floor from people living below us and several security knocks on our door step. Most of those occasions occurred when we were either walking or our 9 month old playing on a matt with his 2 year old sister. In November we requested management to move us to another unit since the environment became unfriendly, and the management said we have to pay extra money over a thousand dollars for this move plus moving fees and of course rent included. Between November and January we received several eviction threats from management even after their security confirmed that the noise complaint was in the normal level made by normal growing children. In one occasion it occurred while my family was sitting in a dining room when the security people appeared . My children lived in fear that even sleeping at night was not possible. We opted to stay away from this place during most of the time but whenever we come back into dominion heights compound children were constantly crying especially my 2year old saying we can’t go to the apartment it’s scary . The worst part came when we decided to move because the environment was not safe for our children, the manager threatened to destroy my credit unless i pay a buy out fees worth over $3500. Plus two months rent. For the sake of my children I went ahead and paid the amount. Here we are today still the management has been sending me water and utility bill that no one has been using. In addition, they say I don’t get my deposit back and that I owe $216. Does it mean that my two year old was louder than other neighbors children that we could hear them crying from a distance? My family lived directly across from another family with a young child- a family that never had any issues with our noise level. Rather than seeking a peaceful resolution, management sided with the neighbor having problems with us. They opted to charge us an exorbitant amount to get out of our lease for harassment and safety issues.Oh someone may wonder how is safety issues; if somebody you don’t know comes to your door atlst four times knocking aggressively or writing demeaning notes and management don’t intervene, that’s a huge safety issue to me. It was only after we insisted on leaving in January that we were presented with the option of transferring apartments.My opinion is this: Please keep off from this place . It is not family friendly and they are only out there for your money.

Current resident here. Trying to do a service for all future tenants, DO NOT LIVE HERE. Do not be fooled by the fancy renovations. It is over priced, and there is not enough transparency to where all the charges are coming from. You do not get what you pay for, not even close. Its advertised as gated, but the gates are always open, and no security cameras anywhere inside the complex. Kate, the manager, can be an extremely unpleasant person to interact with, and if you bring up any complaints, you leave the conversation more frustrated. Some of those 5 star reviews below surely are fake to help increase their rating because neither I nor my neighbors have been enjoying our interactions. I am afraid to even post my real name for fear of retaliation, as there appears to have been in the past toward tenants from management. Please, avoid this place.

Ive heard a lot of stories about living here. So I thought Ill give it a shot and take a tour. Couldnt really see much because if the construction thats going on. Other than that. I cant wait to see what renovations are going to look like. The tour lady Hispanic lady was very friendly and respectful. Shes and out going lady. Asked a few questions, shes going at what she does. Also the other lady in office was just as friendly and professional. Hopefully if everything goes well I will find my new home. Great ace and will recommend it to everyone..

DH has extremely nice and friendly staff members! My family and I are so excited to see the completed renovations and are certain they will be the nicest apartment complex around! I would absolutely refer my friends and family!

The place is beautiful well maintained n lots of trees, we never had any issues with management or any staff, staff is friendly and if you have maintainance issue they have always responded quickly . The apartments are spacious . There is a play area nearby walking trails are good, pretty good and safe for families.In summer the pink flower trees are very beautiful. Pool is good not so crowded.

I just visited my friend and the apartment is super nice. It seems like they are one of the only complexes that is actually renovating in Fresno. We couldn’t use the pool because they are renovating the clubhouse and pool area but the grounds were nice and the location is great.

PROS- Great location. The apartments and neighboring tenets have been a very positive experience.Cons- Parking is difficult. Apartments have cockroaches. Electric bills over 400 a month and our A/C is never set below 80. Gym is dumbbells, a blowflex, and a treadmill. Jacuzzi was broken for 3 months at one point.Management changed in 2018 and it has not been a positive change. They are lazy and unhelpful. All of the best staff has left. Numerous tenets have given honest and constructive advice to management and they are blatantly ignored. For example, when an apartment is unoccupied they do not post that apartments assigned parking spot is open for general use. Parking is difficult if youre coming back past 10pm. Our electric bills is outrageous. They have offered no help, suggestions, or maintenance to service our A/C that is in dire need of replacement. They choose to do nothing and leave tenets with insane power bills. Our neighbors A/C was broken for over a week with no service when the day time highs were over 108. We asked to have our unit sprayed for bugs/cockroaches and it was not. Bugs have been a constant problem.We lived here for one year and it was okay. However, we are not renewing our lease.

The girls in the office: Melissa and Kate are freaking fabulous!! They are on top of everything, they always greet you with a smile and weve shared many laughs. So personable and they make you feel at home! Theyve gone above and beyond to ask any questions, answer emails, and phone calls. Had my hubby and I gone to any other complex I doubt we would have had this wonderful of an experience moving, and if youve moved you know its never a fun experience...well, this time it was!!! The complex is beautiful, quiet, easy to get around and super puppy friendly. I have a border collie and had many issues because shes over 25lbs...but not here!! I just love our new place and I recommend this complex to anyone and everyone!!

Good place To live nice apartments, the management team is very good, real downside is the fact that they are corporate owned. Corporate had messed up my rent several time, and at this point I go in every month to the awesome management team just to see if corporate has gotten my rent correct

If you are looking for an apartment complex with decent humans as management, this is not the place. For them, its how much money they can squeeze out of you while taking minimal responsibility. Sometimes you get random charges on top of the rent increase with minimal notice. To break lease, you have to pay about $2500 on top of two months rent. Save yourself a headache, and avoid renting this place and other JRK managed properties.

I cant say enough about Melissa, kate and the entire staff at dominion heights apartments! we would never go anywhere else! They are such a warm caring team with a knack for customer service, they feel like family from the start. They always pick up the phone and are ready to help at the drop of the hat. I trust they will always do their very best, for all their residents. Thank you!

After moving out we recently received in the mail charges  in excess of $1,183. We had pre-inspection two weeks in and final walk out inspection when turning our keys in. We wanted to be aware of any serious issues and fix any problems. We left the apartment in good conditions, nothing beyond normal wear and tear. We cleaned best we could. The apartment had multiple opportunity during two inspections to raise any major issues but didnt . I have a feeling management is trying to retaliate against my family for raising concerns about other issues during our tenancy.-Firstly, they charged me for rent and utility that I already paid for.  Told them several times. It is in my bank statements and forms I signed-charged for carpet replacement. We already noted the carpet was damaged and old when we moved in 2years ago to old management. This is not our responsibility but yours.-They charged us for heavy paint. charged. This is not beyond normal wear and tear. Again this is not our responsibility.- they  charged for ozone treatment for food odor?? How ridiculous, I have never heard of such things. We cook family dinners use ventilator and open window. No pets and no smokers there. They never mentioned any issues about odor before we left. They had not one but two opportunities during inspection. Instead they mail something completely different. I could go on....Future residents BEWARE!!!!! This is frustrating. Kate I am still waiting for your email response.  I will update what happens with this process but for now I am still waiting...

Dominion Heights is the best apartment homes complex I have lived in! I have read reviews here and some of them are unncessarily overcritical. I love living here. First of all, the apartments are very comfortable and spacious. I live in a two bed two bath. Washer and dryer are included, which makes the life so easy. We love the trail behind our apartment which is lined with Rosemary. It is so quiet and peaceful.The trail takes you to the public park behind the apartment complex. We go with our kids to play there and also for star gazing all the time! The only thing we did not like was that they cut some trees for landscaping which took away the shade from our apartment. We loved those trees. Also another thing- the staff is very nice, particulalry the resident manager, Kate. She is helpful and friendly. Overall, these apartments are reasonably priced for the area and very comfortable. I recommend them highly!

Ive known, lived at, worked at, and have loved this place since 1996! JRK is making some amazing changes and improvements. Cant wait to see it transformed!

Dominion Heights is publicized as an upscale gated community, but is not upscale and rarely gated effectively. I feel that Dominion is overpriced and its tenants under serviced.Ive informed the office staff of trash overflowing containers, the security gate being open way too long, and nothing has been done to fix either. Additionally, the parking is very limited, not sure if the jacuzzi works anymore, and the gym needs a lot of help.They say a remodel is in the plans; will wait and see.UPDATE: 5/10/2018Dominion has done a little better job at cleaning up the trash around the containers. They are in the process of changing what is included in the rent, and they sent us a bill in error and then billed our account for it, but not the rent. I called to ask about the situation since rent wasnt automatically debited and they asked me to bring in a cashiers check that day to avoid late fees. LOL!The Jacuzzi does work, but the gym is still rough and they have a proposed remodel blueprint on the website. Anyways, good luck and I hope something changes. 3 stars down to 1UPDATE 1/25/2019Recently, I had forgotten to turn in my proof of renters insurance and incurred a $50 late fee. Dominion staff informed me of this with a note left on my door. I contacted the office to talk about this, and they informed me to get the documentation in ASAP. I finally turned the documentation in about a month late; and both, Kate and Melissa, were VERY friendly in resolving the late fee issue for me. Great work, and customer service! 1 star up to 2

What an absolute joke. Katey the office manager is a liar. I am so thankful we did not end up moving in .I was due a refund of the deposit and was not told until AFTER the fact that the refund would be processes a d mailed whcih takes 2 to 3 weeks. It has been FIVE WEEKS .and I still have not received my refund. Only more lies. Katey dear, it was not a computer glitch that sent me the same notice three times. If you had even ATTEMPTED to be honest with me instead of ignoring my calls and e-mails I would not be leaving this review. I am an understanding ans patient person. But I cannot tolerate liars.

I honestly dont know why most people are complaining about this community. Its true its pricely but for a safe location, close by lots of shops and a very friendly gated community and staff. with luxurious apartments I think it matches the price. Ive lived there for around 3 years. Its nice and quite like you wont hear people partying around you because mostly are families and high class people.The staff are lovely and really helpful and they will do their best to help you out.Things I didnt like:-its noisy when they pick up the trash...-might need to get better security cameras but good thing they doubled the shifts for security rounds.Enjoy your stay :)

Let me start by saying the manager Kate is real piece of work. Extremely rude and totally unprofessional. I brought my client in and introduced it to the place and spoke to the customer service representative and told them my client will come and review the Apartment before deciding. Then I brought my client in and he said likes the place and will see when an apartment is available in mid July. So he did the application and got the keys. So I called to enquire about a referral fee was told by the manager kate that your client didnt put you down as a referral and the funny part I am the one who told him about the location and took all the information for him. Also brought him in with me but that doesnt count pretty cheap I say and totally unprofessional. I would never recommend this place or bring a client there.

This was my very first apartment and honestly it was a the layout of the apartment is very nice and it’s very spacious. It also has beautiful pool and the customer service is excellent.overall an amazing apartment complex!!!

I think the only reason they have good ratings is because no one has the time to write all the things they do wrong! This was the worst apartment decision I have ever made! The apartments are decent but the management and the respect for their tenants is awful! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! And the parking setup is ridiculous, half the time the whole place is full so you have to park outside the gates. You have to figure each family has 2 cars, not just one!

This community has gone on a downward spiral since I have been here. Keep reading if you do not want to pay an arm and a leg and get nothing in return. First of all we now all pay an HOA fee. The first issue is that there is little to no ground up keep. So, how does an apartment community have an HOA, and why arent we meeting monthly to discuss the trash, dog poop and grounds upkeep that is not being done? My question is where is the upkeep if we are paying an association fee for an apartment complex, no one here is a homeowner. Secondly, the trash cans are always overflowing, not to mention recently due to a trash malfunction all the trash is disgustingly overflowing, this has been an issue since the beginning of March. Now we have to worry about the odor and possible rodents. There are no security cameras, we have been an un-gated community for 5 plus months, they started renovations on the gates before the holidays still no end in sight. The 1.2 million dollar renovation or however much it has cost us tenants has been nothing shy of a headache and eyesore. We also pay utilities in which the complex requires you to use PG&E but on the utility bill we are being charged for gas. Scamming there? Not to mention the unwillingness of some of the management to help tenants solve these issues that all they are good for is collecting money and adding fees 24 hours before you sign a lease.Can you please justify the 4.00$ convenience fee we are being charged for monthly that was NOT disclosed in our lease renewal?Also the gas fee were being charged for when we ALREADY are paying for PG&E gas and electric, monthly SEPARATE that was also NOT disclosed in our lease renewal?Addendum and update:Still waiting on secure front gates it has been about 8 months without gates in the front, also came out to grill this evening to this horrid mess of trash sitting here waiting for us. Grounds upkeep is being neglected, yet again. The $2 million dollar renovation looks glamorous on the outside but take a deeper look.

The community is great--the amenities are wonderful, and the renovations are coming out great!! I cant wait to see the outcome of the front entry way!!!

Parking is a nitemare, they will charge you the entire deposit on move out. Apartment had roaches and spiders constantly. Charging way to much for what you get.

Apartment has lost water twice. They seem to have some issue with keeping water connected.

The actual apartments are ok, the management is horrible! If you are like me and prefer not to deal with rude and un-professional people, I would think twice about this place.
