They towed my car with zero warning for simply parking on the street outside of my friends apartment where there is no signage saying I couldn’t park there or I could be towed. There was also no indication of hours when I called so I drove all the way out to Boulder to not get my car back until 12 the next day. The guy towing cars was very nice but couldn’t help. Lady on phone was SO rude. I recognize she is just doing her job but there is no need to be so mean. I am a college student barely making ends meet. This has financially devastated me and all for no reason. I wasn’t in the way, i wasn’t taking someone’s spot, I wasn’t parked by a fire hydrant. I was just parked on the street. How can you possibly be so cruel? Reflect on your morals and see if this is really where you wanna be.
This is your typical scummy tow company. Theyll come and steal your vehicle in the middle of the night, then extort you with ridiculous fees to get your vehicle back. Business hour indicate theyre open 7 days a week, weekends from Noon - 2pm. However, if they steal your vehicle on a weekend theyll charge you AFTER HOURS to pick up Sat / Sun even though they indicate operating hours, makes sense...What more can you say when your sole business is screwing others?
What do you expect me to say? Two stars for the drive up from Boulder, wasnt half bad on my motorcycle
Towed my friends car despite me buying the online permit for my friends car so that he could park at my Apartment complex. When I brought the permit receipt, they did not charge us and admitted it was their error. Wasted hours of my friends time and was frustrating. They had absolutely no reason to tow the car.The staff was kind and helpful once we got there and explained the situation, though
Friday afternoon around 4:30 PM I stopped in the parking lot at 1101 University Ave just to go up to my girlfriends apartment and grab some things I left there. I stayed there for only 30 minutes came back out and my car was gone. There was no note, no nothing. I called the towing company because I found a sign and they told me they had the car. Of course, I was parked in a spot I shouldn’t have been parked in. So I was prepared to pay a fee. However when I called to see where my car was, the guy on the line(who was very rude by the way) told me the office was closed until Monday. So, to get my car back on Saturday I would have to make an “appointment” which is a $66 dollar surcharge. Okay, that’s fine, I’ll wait till Monday right? NO. The place charged $30 dollars A DAY INCLUDING WEEKENDS. So regardless I’m having to pay $60 bucks extra just because they towed my car literally RIGHT BEFORE THEY CLOSED, so I have literally zero choice but to pay the surcharge. DONT GET TOWED ON FRIDAYS PEOPLE.Total I’ll have to pay $320 to get my car back, which by the way is half my paycheck this week(I’m a college student who can barely pay rent). This is a predatory company and I will definitely be putting a complaint into the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. I can’t believe what they do is even legal. I wish I could give them a 0 star. These guys are essentially legal thieves.
They gouge you in the price to pick up your own vehicle which is no different than a robbery. Guy working there would not take any responsibility for it and just blamed it on the prices that Colorado sets. Since they don’t open till 9 I was just under 2 hours late to work which is cutting out my money so they steal your time and money that you could use to help pay the price or the other bills that literally everyone has. They towed it from broomfield all the way to the far side of Boulder which is also pretty ridiculous seeing as they stole my transportation to get there.
I can only imagine what kind of cynical loser it takes to run a business this way. The customer service representative i spoke to was not remotely courteous or friendly. Apparently they are too short staffed to return my vehicle to me during listed business hours (sounds like they just wanted to charge me for another day, huh?) but they have plenty of employees to troll around low-income apartment complex parking lots on fridays and pick up any old cars they want. Exploitative, predatory cowards who would go out of business by the end of the week if it werent for nonconsensual towing.
If I could give negative stars I 100% would. This company is absolute thieves. 1 star is wayyyyyyyy to generous. If I could give any tip to these thief’s it would be to go to college and get a real job.
I had an appointment to pick up my car at 3. Still here at 3:42. Called them twice and they said to truck driver who doubles as the office person is on his way. Another person showed up to collect her car for the third time and could not wait. I am calling the police if that happens.
I was disappointed with the service we received here.My sisters car was taken here and we arrived at opening time the following morning to find a vacant office after calling the service line we where told they had a call off and that they wouldnt be open till noon.( Not their fault at all these things happen)We had to find something to do in Boulder for 4 hours till they opened in the rain. Waited in a long line when they did eventually open only to wait longer while the attending decided to open the gate only after everyone in line was processed (this created a huge traffic jam when everyone was let into the lot at once)We where perplexed that the attending could not figure out which key opened the padlock. After fiddling for ages she had the crowd try to jimmy the lock, my boyfriend got the lock open by realizing she was using the wrong key.. their where only 2.
Only if i could give 0 stars. These guys are the most unprofessional company I have ever came across. Don’t call them with questions, they will most likely hang up on you.
I was parked in a lot outside my girlfriends apartment for about 2 hours when we heard the sound of a tow truck outside we walked out to see my car already loaded up on the tow truck. Keep in mind it is 5 days away from Christmas and she lives in an apartment that is mostly students so there was maybe 5 cars in the lot that could hold more than 30 cars. We tried to tell the guy we could just move the car somewhere else but he said was obligated by law to bring it to the impound. We follow it to the impound and when we get there the guy says we have to pay $315 to get it released. Just an awesome way to start Christmas especially since I was supposed to use that money to buy Christmas presents for my family.
Longhorn location has mouse infestation. Picked up car from tow yard noticed mouse feces in my center console, passenger and drivers seat. Tissues and paper inside the car were chewed up. There was even feces on my water bottle and on items I used before the car was towed. Called and emailed the company. The tow yard completely denied that this happened at their location, blamed it on me and said they’re not responsible for any damages the mice may have caused. The tow yard even has rat traps you can clearly see from the parking lot. Terrible customer service.
Illegally towed my vehicle, hung up on them when I told them and asked for my car back.Spoke with transportation services and turns out this company is operating with illegal practices. Under code of Colorado regulations 6515d if your vehicle was a private property tow it shall be available to release said motor vehicle withinthe first 48 hours of storage to the owner with one hours notice during all times other than normal business hoursIf they claim they are closed and will cannot release your vehicle they are violating Colorado code. They are lying to you, do not let them get away with it. Verify that they are following the law and take them to small claims court if they arent.
Charged me 360 dollars to get my car back the same day!!!!!!!! this place is a rip off and horrible customer service NEVER USE THEM!
They towed my truck for expired tags even though I had a temporary paper registration clearly visible on my dashboard. Furthermore, when I contacted the apartment complex that manages the lot, they told me that they did not authorize Boulder valley to tow vehicles on that lot. This is clearly an illegal tow and should be considered theft
Tow truck techs must not know what they are doing considering they towed our car all the way to Boulder from Loveland and completely destroyed the front and back end of our car! They have no respect for peoples cars and I have yet gotten a call back from the owner or a manager! They will pay for this. Better lawyer up.
This place needs to be shut down and everyone running it arrested
They towed my car incorrectly and caused $1600 of damage and denied responsibility. We tried to file a claim through their company, but we couldn’t because their form wouldn’t allow us to fill in numbers and letters for the claim ID. We called and the lady said to “google it” and then hung up.
Honestly what they are doing should be illegal. I agree theyre should be a penalty for those who leave their vehicle In a permit spot but 340 dollars without a notice for simply parking in the wrong lot overnight is a scam.
They are praying on people during covid. Cherry picking cars to tow in apartment complexes. Nice car no sticker gone. Hoop thank no tags no sticker no problem. People can’t pay their bill and they are taking even more away from them.
These guys towed my car without notifying me, when I called to check the representative was exceptionally rude. When I go to pick up car and inquire about disputes they referred me to there only option :email.Upon emailing them, they failed to assist me with dispute process which is LITERALLY their job. They simply told me no refund will be issued and that’s all the help I got. So disappointed, this place shouldn’t even in be in business, they just take advantage of people.
The Lady who take your money is super rude, bad attitude and she yells at customers
Car was towed my sticker showing i pay for parking with my rent was definitely visible. I said I want proof they said we take pictures but not allowed to show them . THIS COMPANY IS FRAUD AND I AM DEFINETLEY MAKING SURE THEY TO GET WHAT IS COMING!!!! AND The lady wont talk to me. Get a life lady!
Full of illegal towers and towing reports should be taken to the city to stop this unlawful towing, it’s hard enough trying to make ends meet.
I went to pick my car up by appointment after it had been towed the night before only to show up to a line of people who had been waiting 2 hours since their appointment time for someone to show up. We had called multiple times in order to receive help with retrieving our vehicles and proceeded to wait. Very unprofessional and sketchy.
This morning I walked out of my apartment to find that my car had been towed from the lot where I pay ~$50 a month to park in! After crying to my boyfriend that my car had been stolen (since being towed wouldnt make sense, seeing as I have a permit), I then called Boulder Valley Towing and they confirmed that they had my car and said that I didnt have a visible and valid permit (which is not true, btw). I got a ride all the way to the building out in the middle of nowhere and had to wait outside for an hour and a half for them to figure out that they had made a mistake. Two hours later, I returned back home with my car that should never have been taken. Im very lucky that it was my day off and that I had a ride, because otherwise I would demand they reimburse me for my Uber and missed hours of work and we would have bigger problems.
Made a review 2 days ago on my other email. 2 days later they towed our car from our apartment complex illegally once again.
So I feel this place is biased or sterotypical. Tonight the night of the 28th of January 2021. My vehicle was towed due to no tags. When I called the woing company they stated the no tags. But I currently have pictures and video coverage of at least 3 to 5 vehicle without tags and 2 recreational vehicles, 1 of which people are living in. Then 2 vehicle broke down.So why is mine the only one to be towed. And not the others I dont live here and I dont see a designated visitor parking my vehicle is here for the first time. Idk if its cause its of mexican style or just biassed but the manger who approved the tow is inconsiderate and opinionated to the point of destructiony tools were in my truck and now I cant work very very unpleased with the situation I and 300 dollar bill because there inconsiderate of guests so I hope you dont like guests if you Wana live heres
Unfortunately I cant give them less than one star
Heartless people work here.
They towed our car from our apartment complex and then are trying to charge us around 300 (was quoted different prices in the same phone call) when we had a permit to park in our lot. On top of that its a hour away and the they close so early we have to go tommorow so they can charge us more money.
CHECK YOUR CAE BEFORE YOU LEAVE. THEY DAMAGED MINE ($500 WORTH OF DAMAGE) AND WONT BE HELD LIABLE IF YOU DONT REPORT IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE THEIR YARD.
Well it’s 8 am on Monday and no one is here. Fix your hours.
This place is a complete rip-off. And seeing the other reviews it looks like most everyone agrees. Never use this company!!!!!
If you enjoy paying a cool $300 to get your car back from your own apartment complex then Boulder Valley towing is for you. Their fees are $20 lower than the State MAXIMUM charge and act like they are doing you a favor. If I was on fire in a ditch I wouldnt call them to tow me out.
I mean i wasn’t happy the carGot towed but the office staff was really nice n compassionate
They’re the most unorganized company I have every seen. They need new workers & a new system. They towed my car 2 days earlier than they said & no one was at the office every single tome I showed up. The managers and employees are the most rudest people I have met. Please fire and hire new people who actually like their job. Also work on a better system cause your wasting people’s money and time.
People are struggling these days with these covid19 ... It will be nice to leave a warning ticket instead of taking someones car on a weekend... How freaking greedy that is
Updated Review: Boulder Valley Towing towed me from my apartment for having expired tags. I was unable to reach them for a few days because they were having an issue with their phones. Chloe ended up releasing my vehicle completely free of charge. I appreciate them being ethical and doing the right thing.
I was towed from my apartment complex because the tag had blown off my mirror. I feel that Chloe and Anthony really went above and beyond to assist me with working through the issue and making the best out the situation. They were professional and courteous throughout the whole process. You hear endless horror stories about tow companies and my experience here could not have been further from that. Remember to be nice and polite because these are people with a very difficult job working to do their best and support their families just like the rest of us.
My partner and I were doing contract work at Colfax and 225 at roughly 2:30 AM on July 09, 2019. We watched as this company drove by towing a nice car(white SUV). The support wheels they utilize to support the vehicle literally fell off into the steet and there was a crazy amount of Sparks. They had to have done damage to this persons vehicle and Im positive they wont report it, and try to play it off if the owner calls them out on it. I would never allow this company to even look at my car let alone touch it. Extremely unprofessional, and it looked like a circus when they were gathering parts off of the side of the road, and eventually re-towed the car.
The worst. Fancy trucks bought from the spoils of the people they screw. Also known as Wyatts, Lone Star, Klaus, and others. This vehicle was towed with handicapped plates, placarded, from a handicapped spot. After they refuse to bring it back, we get to their office, in the middle of nowhere, carefully placed just outside of city limits, which is not ADA accessible. We were actually threatened and nearly physically attacked by their manager. On top of everything else, the vehicle was damaged and they wouldnt even allow you to inspect it before taking possession. STAY AWAY, hire somebody else to tow for you. These people are thieves. The managers is unstable, the woman running the office is rude and is only proud that she can park wherever she wants. Id push my car before giving these people a dime. As a former shop owner and tow company owner/operator, they are honestly, one of the worst run companies I have ever dealt with, and thats saying a LOT.
Towed my car when I had a permit for my own apartment. Karma will get these people.
Wrecked the car they towed
A joke of a company they should definitely be investigated. They are just out to rob from anyone. My car had a permit to be parked outside my own apartment they still took it, and when I call the lady just kept on being rude and threatening to hang up if I didnt calm down when all I was doing is explaining that the car in fact had a permit and shouldnt have been towed which she didnt care.
This guy loves to cherry pick cars at night. The signs for parking are all placed on dumpster sides where no one will logically/easily see them. I just literally watched from my house as he drove around the complex, looking at every couple of cars just to find anything he could.Last week We get home late at night from work, had 3 sleeping kids, and at 7am the next day as were trying to get out the door to work....our family car is gone!He leaves no warning or contact info. I spent hours trying to find her car. We literally just moved in and he tows my wifes car full of car seats on a whim when it was parked directly in front of our home. Then hes completely rude when I finally found him after calling the cops. The apartment managers didnt call this guy to come out either, they were out for the holiday.Shady operation. Very crook minded to steal easy targets from mothers in the middle of the night. Maybe they should post signs where they can clearly be seen. All our cars are even registered to our house, so what happens in winter when he cant see the parking tag? Is he just randomly tow people?Happy holidays pal! $300 you just took from our kids.
Got towed. Called and was told to be at the lot at 8 am (8:30 would have been too late). Showed up at 8 and the place was closed. There was someone else there waiting who was also told 8. Called the number and was put on hold for over 10 min, then called back and was told they only show up by appointment. Asked how to make appointments since apparently calling ahead and asking when to show up was not enough, and was told OK. Not sure what ok means. Supposedly someone will be here in 20 min, hell if I know. I dont know how well they tow, but dispatch operations are pretty awful.I dont really expect anything to change with a review, nobody chooses to get towed, so surely these guys will stay in business. But they seem to excel at making a rough situation worse for all involved. Guess Im just venting about some incompetent folks who relish in being terrible to other people. If youre related to our know anyone who works here, please tell them to try not being terrible people.
Towed my car with expired tags from my spot at my condo that I own
I got towed, which is what it is. When I went to pick up my car, there was a scratch on the rear passenger side door. My car was in near perfect condition, this is the only scratch now on it. I asked if there was a way to file this and the woman working pulled up the pictures taken of my car before it was towed and claimed that the scratch was already there. However, what she thought was the scratch was actually a glare from the camera flash which was farther back from the rear door than the scratch was. I pointed this out and she went out to my car to take pictures of the scratch and we filed the paperwork for it.About a week later I received an email from the tow company saying that they found that they were not liable for the scratch to the car and the case would be closed. They gave no explanation as to why they were not liable for the damages. I called them asking if they would send me the pictures that they had of my car before it was towed and they said that I would have to take them to court for the photos. The court fees would be more expensive and more time consuming than having the scratch repaired so I guess they screwed me over. This company needs to stand by the mistakes of their employees and pay for any damages that they cause. At the very least, I wish they would’ve sent me the photos taken of my car prior to being towed so I could prove that the scratch wasn’t there before they towed it. I guess I’ll be spending another $1100 to fix the scratch on top of the $240 for being towed, thanks Boulder Valley Towing.
Took forever but the young man who helped us was awesome and was very nice
Rude, quoted 3 different prices, took our truck on Christmas Eve with our kids things inside,
Parked at a friends place and it was an empty lot. They towed my car at midnight for being there less than an hour. Came here immediately, but there’s no one to be found. How am I supposed to get home? I live in Denver. This should be against the law.
They wont give up any chance to take your car. They took my car in the middle of the night, for a reason they come up with which is no list on the contract signed by my apartment. Luckily, the people in the leasing office are very helpful, so I dont have to pay the towing fee, however I still have to pickup the car myself. They are very good at ruin peoples life. Since they are the only towing company nearby, they do whatever they want to do.
They manage my apartment complex parking, I called at 11 pm about someone who regularly parks in a handicapped spot without plates or a placard and talked to a very helpful man who said that they would send someone out. I received a callback about an hour later where he informed me of my complexs rules requiring management to be notified and a 48 hope notice before they could tow. My concerns were addressed very politely and professionally, and I was very pleased to hear that they would personally talk to management about this illegal parking.
Broke the car
They towed my car with a parking permit. The police should investigate these people.
This company is towing permitted vehicles from private lots.
I was up at 5:30am trying to go to work and found out that I had gotten my car towed, the employee picked me up from my apartment and tried to help me out as best he could even when I found that I couldnt afford it. He drove me to work and picked me up when my shift was over and we finally got it all squared away. He was very helpful in a situation where I was extremely stressed out and made the whole experience for me with his kindness.
Worst tow place ever.. called last night and told me I couldnt pick it up till the morning an now they charged me an extra 30 dollars and they are open 24/7 why couldnt I pick up car last night
Its hard to work at a towing company and keep your sense of humor. But Khloe was great! She is kind, funny and helpful. I really appreciate that. Thanks, Khloe!!
I called to try to pick up my car within normal business hours and they are still up charged me for holding it until the next day because they don’t have people available. Their employee then yelled at us because “they don’t work around other people’s schedules.” Yet the employee only told me I could go at noon to pick it up tomorrow.
I was wrongfully towed by this company. They do not have a direct line to them just to an awful answering service that is rude and doesn’t know what they were doing. I had to waste 4 hours just to get my vehicle back. Do not use them for anything ever
I wish I could give negative stars. This company is terrible. If youre calling from downtown Boulder youre good but if you live anywhere else and this company is the only place that your apartment complex allows cars to be towed through, youre screwed because theyre going to put you on the lowest priority because youre not a big enough paycheck for them. so keep that in mind before you use this place. especially if you pay for a parking spot at your apartment complex and someone else is in it you will not be this Companys top priority and you will get shafted. if this is a place that your apartment complex is contracted to, dont live there cuz you will not be considered a priority at all.
Absolutely unfair cost structure and zero customer service. Don’t understand how places like this are allowed to make money.
Predatory company Terrible customer service very rude and never in there office was very bad experience
So we made the appointment! And apparently they don’t understand the meaning of appointment! If I could give no stars I would. These people just like making lives miserable and not only that when towing peoples cars they turn off all of their lights to be sneaky thieves!!!! Not ok!
Someone should investigate this business for fraud. Im sure they dont couldnt make enough to pay back the money theyve stollen in a lifetime. Ive heard three stories and have experienced they awful services they offer. People dont want to spend more than the ransom for their vehicle on a lawyer. Thats the only reason they stay in business they target lower income families for the sake of security. They have an excuse for everything and are confident that theyre working within the confines of the law, if they were to be investigated it would sink the company and most of them would probably end up being charged in criminal Court.
Worst ever! I called them to get my towed car. He said I could come now to pick up my car. After I got there, the door was closed and nobody was there. I called him again and was told he would get there in about 20 minutes! I waited there for him for about 30 minutes. He should have told me he would be there around what time when I first called him. He didnt apologize at all and was very rude when I complained about that. Property owners, do not contract with them. It will ruin your impression.
These thieves will harass and extort you!! They have a racket going with the Boulder PD to steal vehicles and extort civilians for money. I would and will never call them. If you live in Boulder Co. understand that if you park at a store and walk away from your vehicle by law you have just abandoned your vehicle on private property and they can steal your car. Even if it is just for a few moments according to the pirates that slave here. The lady was extremely rude to me when I arrived and told me to sit down. When I told her I was ok standing, she became angry and demanded I sit. I again informed her I was ok standing she then told me that was the last time she would ask me to sit. I informed her that I was disabled and was not going to sit in her chair; she remained hostile with me. These pirates are immoral, law breakers, and extortionists.
These people are a joke! Completely rude and unprofessional. You’re better off pushing your car somewhere than having these guys tow it! Scandalous crooks!
My car got towed from my complex even though I was registered to the parkm site. They claim it expired. 250 dollars plus the money Im losing to take off work to get it.
These people say they are open from 8-5pm which is a total lie ! We came in at 11am and come to find out there was no one here !! We try calling the number more then 3 times until finally someone picked up, just to come to find out they are only open by appointment . As my fiancé was talking on the phone with the lady we saw someone who works there leaving. Why couldn’t he help us? These guys are total jerks !! Why are you going to have that you are open when your really not !!! We have been towed before by the same jerks and have came without appointments. Make up your minds !!
Boulder Valley Towing are true lowlife scum. wrongfully and illegally (according to property management) towed a legally handicapped placarded and plated vehicle from a handicapped spot. When confronted, the manager stated we dont go by that. Upon arrival at the yard, the gate was locked with no handicapped accessible entrance into the property at all (after they were informed we were on our way.) When confronted with any of the ADA legalities, we were threatened with arrest. As a local auto repair shop owner, I stopped dealing with this company many years ago because of issues and insensitivities such as this;. Discrimination IS their business, stay away.
Three times these folks have preyed on innocent people: last night at 9:26pm, they left a sticker on my car while it was parked in my assigned parking spot in my apartment complex that they were going to tow me in 72 hours because my tags are expired. Thanks for the info. But they have zero right to tow me for that. About a year ago they booted my friends vehicle in an otherwise empty business parking lot in the middle of the night. A month or so before that they towed me when parked in a fire lane for an hour or so. I was not in anyones way. They are just looking for a chance to weasel money out of people, and ruin their day too.And if they tow me in 72 hours when my car is parked in my spot because I havent gotten new stickers (because 48 of the hours will be weekend hours) they are going to have hell to pay.
They towed my car despite having a pass and damaged several things. I dont understand how they are still in business. Very rude staff that cant follow protocol and managers who dont know how to manage for the life of them.
Horrible staff. Called multiple times a day for several days trying to get a hold of someone to get my car and the front desk girl finally picked up the phone on the 4th day of contacting them. When I got to the office to pay, she made me wait on her because she had more important things to do than her job. I left the key because I had errands to run and the tow truck was on its way to get my car and when they got there she refused to pick up the phone or answer the door, causing the tow truck to leave and requiring for me to pay for an extra day. I paid $900 to get my car out because of the pure laziness and lack of care from the front desk girl. Cover your steps and do NOT rely on anything she tells you because she just doesnt care a bit.
This place is great at preying on people who have nothing! We just signed our lease 2 days ago. We literally have $5 to our name after moving from 1100 miles away. I am now missing work because of this. And have no way of getting anywhere. Our parking permit had fallen off our window and now we have to pay $300 we dont have! I am now not sure how I am going to pay rent let alone put food on my table after this.
This company is a crock of s***. Towed my car at 7 in the morning on thanksgiving, then werent in the office for me to pick it up all of thanksgiving forcing me to miss my family dinner in Denver. Then when they finally decided to show up around 11 the next day, my car was not in the system. They then proceeded to tell me there job was so easy a monkey could do it but they were too inept too. THEN charged me 263 dollars to get MY car back because they wanted to make a quick buck on thanksgiving morning and screw me over. Dont give this s*** a*** company any business and if you get towed by them Im sorry. Screw you guys. Oh and the managers name is Gary Grady, hes a scared man wont talk to you on the phone and has a bunch of MORONS working in his office.
These guys have obviously never towed a car thats lowered. Straight up destroyed my friends car dragging it over speed bumps. Funny thing is they didnt even look to see that he had a parking pass and shouldnt have towed him in the first place!! If you care about the condition of your car dont use these guys!
This place is RIDICULOUS 🤡😆
Absolutely horrible company. They towed my car in the middle of the night from a parking lot that had no signs stating it was designated parking only. They towed the car with my car seat inside. My baby is sick, so I cant leave her with anyone to pick up my car, but I cant take her with me without the car seat. The staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. Worst business I have ever experienced.
Locked keys in car. They came out fast and unlocked it free of charge.
Uncooperative, unhelpful, and useless company out in the Boondocks of North Boulder. Impossible to get ahold of in after hours although they claim 24hr service. Anyways, weve lived in this apartment for 5 years but got a brand new car (dealer plates still on it) and had a visitor tag from the leasing office but still got towed! For no reason whatsoever should this car have been towed. We pay & live in a GATED community that you can only enter if you have a key fob for the gate but yet they still feel the need to tow residents cars. Upon picking up the car, we brought paperwork showing that we clearly live in the complex however no one at Boulder Valley Towing has a drop of sympathy in their heart. I guess thats what it takes these days to run a low life business such as theirs.
I live in a Boulder County Affordable Housing Apartment complex called Clover Basin Village. Theyve recently imposed a parking permit rule. The purpose of this rule was to eliminate non-residents from parking in resident spaces. Since this rule has been implemented, this towing company has been regularly towing cars within a very short time of them having been parked there. Theyve also towed MY car, which had a clearly visible permit in the windshield and then proceeded to argue with me about it until they FINALLY located the permit in my windshield and returned my vehicle a little over an hour later. Most recently, I had to rent a car for ONE evening due to my regular vehicle being in the shop. After returning from Colorado Springs at approximately 12:30am (the middle of the night), I parked the vehicle and managed to carry my sleeping children up to my 3rd floor apartment. When I awoke at 6am the next morning for work, the rental car had been TOWED!! How am I, A RESIDENT, supposed to obtain a parking permit for a rental car at 12:30 in the middle of the night? In addition, the fee for retrieving this rental car will be $300!? This is ridiculous. Its stealing. These people are criminals. That car wasnt even parked there for more than a couple of hours before it was towed! They are just having a free for all at the vehicle owners expense and Clover Basin has given them free range to do so. This HAS TO STOP! They are preying on people who are already struggling to survive, which is why we rent there in the first place. Make no mistake, I receive NO government assistance living there. That is why this astronomical towing fee is taking food out of the mouths of my children!
This place will not let me get my truck even though I have the money to pay for it .Ive showed up 2 times with $500 two weeks ago, and the week before that. My truck was vandalized with 4 flat tires they towed away and are charging me every time I want to go there just to Meet them to switch out the tires $180 . Steve would not give me his last name or the owner of Boulder Valley towing . Ive told them I would get the truck in a week., they said it will be too late. This company IS a scam, I asked Steve what his last name is, he would not give it or the name of the owner. I ask him what kind of business man are you, he said Im not a business man .Im calling Boulder Legal services now.Any one who wants to make a complaint witj me feel free to email me at travisgoodspeed@gmail or call 720 429
This place is an absolute scam. They required an appointment by phone to get my car, then when I went in for the appointment they said there was an after hours fee. I walked out and came back during business hours to pay the normal fee. No appointment necessary. Total scam.
Very professional company with kind office staff that just towed me. Obviously their drivers know how to find towable vehicles and are good at it.Its comical reading all of the reviews online from 20 - 35 year olds cryng about their cars being towed and droning on about their special circumstances and how theyre such victims.Call your property management company if you cant find your car. Park where you are supposed to. Understand how tow companies operate and what their, and your legal rights are. Stop whining.
There rude on the phone just hung up on me
On more than one occasion have taken cars for no reason other than they could from apartment complex just because they can. And customer service like taking payment over the phone is beyond their scope. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I had permission to park my car at the location it was towed from. I contacted them and after finally getting threw to someone who could help with more information they told me someone had to pay the fees even though I had the permission. It took a full month to get this resolved and get that info. I had to sign my car over in the end because I couldnt afford to get my car back. They are thiefs what a joke for a company.
Stupid hours and policies
They didnt damage my car.
A good friend of mine totally got reamed by this guy.
Love how you take my car, leave me no way to get to work, and then dont answer the phone for an hour.
There was a car parked illegally in front of our apartment complex. We are told to call the towing company to report illegally parked cars/cars with no parking pass. We gave the car 45 minutes to move or leave before we called Boulder Valley Towing. When we called to report the car, BVT said they would be out shortly. We first called at 10:15pm. The car was still there at 6am, so I called again and nobody answered. Called again, no answer. I figured theyd want money but apparently they dont and would rather not do their job. Im not sure what our apartment complex is paying them for if they cant even answer a phone, much less tow a car....🤷
I have had great experiences with boulder valley towing! Thank you for your help!
Some incompetent idiot didnt tell me they would charge and extra $30 a day, on too if the ridiculous $240. The massive rude woman didnt seem to care of take responsibility for it and wouldnt release my car until I paid the extra fee as well.
