Company is unprofessional and also the management they lie and don’t careAbout you they only talk to you when they’re getting you in the apartment. Chris doesn’t know what he is doing also jodie from the manco abbot is unprofessional and rude.
Horrible management, Chris is a liar anything you make an agreement on make sure you write it and have him sign it because it will cost you if you don’t. Also they had rats and roaches which they did nothing I had to take care of it. The office is rude and unprofessional.
I have only lived here for a few months, but I like it here. Besides a couple noisy dogs, it’s very quiet. It also has a station to wash your dog!! My mum loves it. We get a pretty view and friendly neighbors. Again, I have only lived here for a short amount of time, but I think I’ll be here for a while.
The on-site management is awesome and takes care of problems as quickly as possible. The maintenance team is incredible and resolves repairs very quickly.
I have lived at Park Ridge for 12 years now and I just love my apartment, management, the complex and the area it is in. The complex is in a very nice neighborhood where you can feel safe walking your dog, jogging, biking, etc. There is a bark park in the complex for your dogs, and also a dog wash area...very pet friendly. The grounds are kept up and always clean. Management is just wonderful! If any problem ever arises it is taken care of right away. Management will go out of their way to help you. They will not tolerate unruly residents, and in the 12 years I have lived here I have never had a problem with my neighbors. Twelve years is a long time being in one place, but there are others that have even been here longer than me. That in itself says something wonderful about Park Ridge. I am very comfortable living here and calling it home!
Lived in the Park Ridge Apartments from Feb 2016-Dec 2018. All management staff was great; really friendly and always willing to answer any questions. Maintenance was great and efficient as well. The apartment itself was perfect for us. 1B 1B, Carpet flooring. The apartment was very clean when we moved in. Looked really well kept and had no issues. The location of the apartments was ideal because you are right next to the freeway making any destination 20 min or less. The apartments have a dog park (dog owner community, if you dont like dogs this may not be the place for you), tennis court, and a pool which are all kept clean and neat at all times. Overall would recommend to anyone!
One star just because of bad experience with their property management (Manco Abbott) company and the office staff. They dont know what is customer service at all. From positions like I am not going to do that when you have a question to office manager and you want to call together with them to property management. To the phrase I dont care about your allergies when you states to the property management companys agent that the apartment was provided with so dirty carpet that me and my girlfriend got strong allergy reaction and ran to buy a good vacuum cleaner for the carpet and the water was black after we start to cleaning it up. I got really strong skin issue, my gf had breathing issues and coughing. And when I said to Manco Abbott manager Jodie, she literally said I dont care about your allergies. Kinda strange, I always thought that exactly office and property management company should care about that. At least because it is by the law their responsibilities to give absolutely safe for living place, but not there. Also about month or two the temperature at night was so freezing even with the heater set to maximum and it dropped below 68 that is lower that by the law. They reacted on that and sent a technicians several time, but the issue was the same for a month or two. These technicians just looked and said that everything should work and gone and it was the same cold again. In about a month or two they fixed it finally.Even with all these happened we tried to be patient, but then we decided to move out to San Jose... We moved about 2 months ago and the office knew about that plus in my feedback I also stated that we are not going to live there anymore. My lease agreement ends on January 16, 2020 and we came to the office to give them a keys and finish with all move out process on December 30, 2019. And they stated that I had to notify them 30 days in advance. On any my attempts to communicate and explain my position, it was interruption, zero desire to listen, no respect at all. On my points that:1. Lease agreement clearly says that lease and its terms ends on January 16, 2020 and dot (.)2. That in order to move me to month to month it clearly says that they have to accept rent from the resident. And I did not offer them that3. There is a Notice to vacate somewhere far in the agreement that basically according to the point 1 cannot be applied to me after January 16, 2020, but anyway it states that if at the end of the lease I dont intend to renew or proceed with month to month occupancy Owner/Agent requires a 30 day notice prior to the day I intend to vacate. And even without point 1... Yes, I did not intend to vacate, yes they knew that we moved out already (but with no paper), and yes I did not want to proceed with month to month... It still says that Owner/Agent requires 30 days notice. I did not get any email or call that they would ask me am I going to live there or we just close according to the agreement that already states the date of my move out. My intention was to sign the agreement for an year and not more. My date when I intend to move out clearly says January 16, 2020. And seriously... Owner/Agent requires 30 days. So require from me the answer, send me a letter, email, call me and ask. They did not do it, did not require. Does it says that I must to do it by myself? Not. Ok... Even if it would, what if not? Nothing, according to the agreement. But they dont care, they very rude when you tries to protect your rights and money that they try to get from you. For them you are just a bag with the money, not a person, not a customer. They dont want to listen, no feelings at all. I got serious health issue there and I dont care about your allergies is their answer to the problem you got in their apartment. We will speak about that phrase with them additionally, but anyway, after all of these they just states that they will change me for a month and + fee and then will give my case to the collectors. From good point, nice territory, amenities. But nerves taken cant make it good
Lived here in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with my mom back in 2015 I believe and I really loved living here even though we didn’t have a lot of money, I was sad to leave when we couldn’t afford anymore.
Great place to live... Very clean, quiet, pet friendly, and reasonable. The management is very attentive to requests and fixes things as soon as they can. They are very professional in communication as well.
Weve lived in three different apartments over the years - always coming back when we need a place in Fresno. You truly cannot find a more friendly, efficient management team anywhere. The location is absolutely PERFECT for dog owners - next to Woodward Park and adjacent to hundreds of acres of wildlife refuge along the San Joaquin river...simply ideal for the furkids. I dont forsee it right now, but if we ever move back to the central valley, you can BET Ill be renting at Park Ridge!
To quote my spouse, this is not the luxury living I was promised. We lived at Park Ridge for a year and it is just okay... but not for the price. The grounds are well maintained but there are always piles of dog poop despite the PooPrints program. The office strong arms dog owners to signup dogs but then fails to enforce. There is always plenty of open parking and the property amenities are all amazing with the exception of the gym. The gym is a hot box with no windows for air. There is a floor fan but if there is someone else in the gym prepare to suffer. The pool area is nice with two grills available to use if you bring your own propane tank. Its completely unnecessary considering a few of my neighbors were barbecuing on their balconies since ground rules are never enforced. The apartments are fine. The appliances are new and there are washer and dryers inside the units. We lived upstairs so we smelt everything through the vents and improperly sealed windows (mostly weed from our neighbor). It was cold in the winter and a furnace in the summer months. If you open your windows you will be kept awake but the rumble of multiple ac units which makes it difficult to sleep unless you close up the windows and pay for electricity out the butt. It is small for the price but not too bad.My biggest complaint is the staff because the level of incompetence was staggering. They had us resigning our lease 4-5 times because the couldnt list their property name correctly and then forgot to add our names. Communication is impossible unless you have time to physically go into the office. They were are great when trying to get us into a lease. After that, we were essentially ghosted by the front office. Multiple phone calls went unanswered and they do not return voicemails. They even ignored our maintenance requests twice. Naturally we would eventually find time to go into the office but they work weird hours Monday- Friday. A half day on Saturday would be amazing (just saying).I would recommend this apartment as a temporary home for anyone with a large breed dog but only if youre a good handyman. Apart from that its overpriced and overrated. Im not sure if this problem is isolated to Park Ridge or all Manco Abbott properties but they dont care about their residents and it shows.
Ive lived here for 2 years and have enjoyed my time here. Im moving to LA for work; otherwise would continue to live here. I thought Id leave my experience for those looking for a good place to live. Its a good location and sufficiently quiet, in a nice neighborhood. Conveniently located: close to freeway, woodward park, river park shops and restaurant. Has good amenities (gym, pool, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court) and pet friendly (although I dont have a pet), I enjoyed saying hello to my neighbors pets. No issues with crime or trash as some previous posts in the past. In my two years, I heard of one car-break in, but I think that can happen anywhere. It is safe and we do have a security car at night that keeps surveillance. Management is responsive and flexible, and usually gets things/repairs done; however, sometimes does need a little reminder. Katrina, is super helpful! I would definitely recommend this place to a friend! If you are budget conscious, the first floor is cheaper than the 2nd floor apartments. If you do live here, take a walk around the neighborhood. It enjoyed looking at the landscaping of the nice houses nearby and loved the trees /greenery in the complex. The gardeners do a good job keeping the place in shape. I also love that I could pay my rent on-line, very convenient.
The water runs brown just like the water shown on tv news belonging to North East Fresno homes where pipes are of bad quality. The Management simply advised, let the water run for a bit. I lived here for 2 yrs. A few months after I started living there my nose would bleed fro no reason and my cat would start getting frequent bladder infections. I later found out that the brown water meant the water had a high amount of lead and was caused by the corrosion of the water pipe. The pipe had been purchased cheaply from China during construction of Fresnos North East area. Management will not inform you of this high amount of lead in the pipes and when your water runs brown they will treat it like it was nothing.
