The Firestone at Dadeland mall is dishonest. My husband took my car there for an oil change, tire service, and check up and was quoted at a 2 hour wait for the car to be complete. He was standing outside smoking when he noticed the mechanic, Ignacio, sit down while our car remained un-serviced. He then started and finished the oil change (30 minute process, max), put air in the tires, and put together a receipt of all the services he claimed he did on the car and what needs to be replaced/fixed. Four hours later my husband is reviewing the receipt with Luis and points out what was not done, but we are being charged for it. It just so happens that one of the most expensive items they claim needed replacing was the back break pads and calibrators, which we just had done a year ago at that same Firestone (Luis confirmed this) and have driven the car 5,000 miles since then. When my husband told Luis he watched Ignacio NOT rotate the tires, but we are being charged, he then went out to speak with Ignacio and he said he confirmed that he did not do it. Why attempt to charge us then? Why attempt to charge us to replace/fix a plethora of items that do not need fixing? They are fraudulent and try to steal from people! When they claim to have done something, charge people for it, but have not actually done the work they are being paid to do, THAT IS STEALING. Do not trust this Firestone or any of its staff! If you do go to this Firestone, please sit and watch the mechanic because I guarantee we are not the first family to be victimized by this establishment and its untrustworthy, crooked, conmen they refer to as mechanics.

I called ahead of time to find out if they had time to service my vehicle (tire balancing, tire rotation, and wheel alignment). I was told they did.I brought in my car; the person who checked me in, saw my history on the computer, and promptly prepared the necessary paperwork to begin the requested work; I did not need to provide him with anything more than my phone number, which vehicle I brought in (I have 2 on file), and my car key.Within 5 minutes, my car was taken in to a bay.I was called over to my car about 5 minutes later; the mechanic, after inspecting the tire tread life, needed to notify me that the warning bar was starting to appear on the treads. He did not push hard for me to buy new tires; rather, it was more of a notification that I would likely be needing to replace the tires in the not so distant future.I received a phone call when the work was completed, I came to pick up my car, they handed me the paperwork (including an estimate for the total cost to replace the tires) and the car key, and that was it; again, no hard push to sell me anything else.Id say my entire experience went very well. They appear to be honest, competent people at this location.

Don’t let your employees get verbally aggressive with customers. Not good business. I would go somewhere else if you want to avoid a confrontation.

I use firestones services all across the country pretty regularly. The staff at this location were amazing this morning! 10/21/20. Genuinely friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I cant recommend this location enough!

Firestone folks help you out with servicing your car. I’ve been going here to service my car for the past 20 years. They don’t push you to buy products or services you don’t need, and their warranties are good standing. Will recommend this location Firestone if you have car services or need second opinion.

Just got my phone working but have to tell you about Rene and crew at Dadeland Firestone. When my warranty expired on my used Lemon 🍋 2015 Buick Encore it was back to my favorite Firestone. Wish they would give him more Dianas, Herber, Julio and please to the Mechanics learn som Ingles. I hear a lot of negatives about Firestone but this shop needs to get a raise. They have been working on my cars for over 7 years and all because of honest quotes and repairs. Take your car there and be surprised. We need honest mechanics and managers. Came to get a flat tire repaired drop off the car then 2 hours later got a call my car was ready. I get here and they haven’t even started they asked me “where did you park the car?”. Come on! Why call? (Didn’t apologize or admitted the mistake) they have bad communication and have no idea what’s going on in their tire shop. If you want good customer service, honesty and quality work. Drive over to the Goodyear! (Across the street). Please don’t bring your car here. Unless you want to waste 2 or 3 hours of your day.

Worst service ever took my car to this horrible place to fix it and they didnt fix the problem got worse and they charged me a ridiculous amount for nothing, thieves, now I know why they closed their location on sw 98 st and us1, no wonder and probably you are next.

Took my car there on a whim over the weekend after seeing some tire pressure issues. It was my first time, so I didnt know what to expect. I mentioned that I believed at least two tires had issues; I expected that if I was wrong, theyd take advantage and just change them both out, but I was willing to take that risk. To my pleasant surprise, they only changed one tired, costing themselves extra money -- but earning a now-lifelong customer for sure! Appreciate the honesty and efficiency.

Been there twice. Once to fix a flat, and then for an oil change and tire rotation. Very pleased with both visits in terms of speed, price, and general helpfulness from the staff. They know you want to get in and out without much fuss, and theyre quick to oblige. The service writer included coupons/discounts without even me asking. Accompanying my invoice was a recommended services worksheet. Services much more costly than the actual reason for my visit; services that I dont think I really need at this time; services that I simply declined. Keep in mind, they are a business after all. That said, overall a 5 star experience. For reference, I dropped my vehicle off mid-morning on a weekday.

They lied to my face about rotating my tires. I sat and watched through the window and they didn’t even take a tire off. Do not trust this establishment

Went today at 6:40pm to fix a flat tire and I was told that they are closing soon and there is only one guy working. Also the gentleman told me to come back tomorrow morning. Rainy day and tire with only 18psi. Guy send me to the store across the street ( Good Year). Thanks god I made it !! They fixed the tire without objections!

Firestone has taken care of me and my cars through good and not so good times; new car and used cars. Their quality of service and attention to my needs has never wavered, no matter the year, make or model. They truly stand behind their work, and they work with you. Be it my budget or schedule, theyve come through for me!

My tire pressure light came on so decided to go and ask for help. was ignored by all the mechanics after I had gone inside and said if they can help me. an older mechanic finally 0an older mechanic called for a mechanic called Alex. Alex never showed up ..got tired of being ignored and finally left

Called in to schedule alignment November 18th at 224 pm and the Guy was rude and hung up on me. I use to take my Benz here won’t be anymore or my truck

Went for battery replacement. Quoted 45 min. Then after 30 minutes they come back telling me they don’t have the battery, and they went out to get one elsewhere. 1:30 Hours later the battery arrives. Go out to see, it’s a NAPA PARTS battery, not the quoted one, wrong size and they had thrown out my battery protective shield because it was “too big” for the new battery. Wasted 2:30 hours waiting for nothing. They could have told me from the get go that they did not have a battery for my car in stock and I would have been fine. But replacing the battery with the wrong size is completely wrong. Glad I knew my battery, glad I stayed over, as I may have been scammed if I did not watch my back! Don’t recommend this place!Went to my dealer 6 miles down the road, got the original battery with 84 month warranty for the same price and done right.

This location has always offered me excellent service. My visit before last, Luis Marrero assisted me, who was very kind and knowledgeable, and went out of his way to keep me posted and informed. My technician, Isaac, did a wonderful job, and explained the repairs to me as well. On this most recent visit, the other Luis that works at this location, was also extremely congenial, kept me posted and was extremely kind and helpful to me. I would also be remiss if I did not mention Rene, who whenever I come into contact with him at this location, has also gone out of his way to offer me excellent customer service. The men at this location treat me fairly, with respect and patience, and go out of their way to fully explain to me any repairs and issues. The persons working at the Dadeland Firestone are the reason that I continue to visit this location exclusively, regards of how far away I move and am located. They have been amazing for years now and I do not dread having my vehicle fixed nor coming in alone when I visit their location.

Went for an oil change with coupon but discount was never applied (-which they said they would add).They also told me I had over $1000 worth of repairs I should have them do. I went for a second opinion and the other guys told me that half the stuff Firestone suggested was not necessary at all.Do not recommend

I took my car to this location on 4/29 because my headlights were not working. I was told that my light needed to be cleaned and flushed. This was done to the car. When I came to pick up the car it would not turn on. The lights were left on and drained my battery. I was told that the battery was dead and needed to be replaced. My car was taken to Honda a week ago for a diagnostic and they said the battery was fine. So firestone jumpstarted the battery never admitting that it was their fault my battery died which it was. I am never coming back here. This is not the first time this has happened to my car. If I could give 0 stars I would. Any mechanic who knows what they’re doing should know that you can’t leave the lights on if the car is off the battery will die. I was lied too. Triple AAA inspected my car and said the battery was 100% fine. Never coming back.

The price is reasonable, and they give you discounts. I changed tires with Jerry, and the prices are lower than quoted on their website. I have to say some comments are biased, setting up biased prior before I went.

They did right by me. They worked fast and gave me options at different, reasonable price points.

They can do an oil change correctly but theyre too big of a business to communicate simple tire rotation instructions to the technician. Im giving them 3 stars because although they screwed up my tire rotation they removed the charge. This place needs to be run as a tighter ship.

Albert Varona is the best. My tires were supposed to have been delivered so the two rear ones were the same, but the other store hadnt fulfilled request. He picked them up so I could have them installed at time promised. So important when were trying to get things done on lunch hour and before work!

Went there to get a tire replaced and they didnt replace it but fixed a plug. Week later Im driving to Orlando with my family and the tire light went on. Took it to another Firestone near Disney and turns out the side walls were wearing thin which would have been obvious to the Firestone at Dadeland. Luckily we didnt have a blow out.

Came in with a rental car with a tire that had been slashed. All they had to do was call the number I gave them to get connected directly to the car rental company to get approval to change the tire. They opted to use their own personal number to call some random one 800 service call number and two hours later finally got the approval while I was standing there. I literally called the number I gave them and got into contact with someone within 35 seconds to get the approval where as they called left messages and waited two hours before touching my car. When we got the car back not only was the AC blasting but they had left my window down with all my luggage in the car in the parking lot. Horrible service

Went there to get lug nuts removed. They gave me an estimated time of 1:30. I went back at 2:30 and my car was not finished. They said that they were waiting on my new lug nuts and that it should take 20 mins. A hour later I still didn’t have my car. Finally around 4:10 I was able to get my car but was double charged and wouldn’t have known if I didn’t check with my father. Worst experience ever. I will never go back.

These people try to find a way to rip you off. Damaged my radiator but wouldnt admit to the fault. Then tried to sell me the radiator repair and upsell the price of the parts to benefit off a part they damaged! Avoid this place at all costs.

Everytime come in even is its an hour before closing unless Im some spending $700+ customer service is horrible, they turn you away, tell you to come back in the morning only to tell you its a 2 and a half hour wait just to get a nail out of a tire.They have 4/5 techs always working at snails pace and the sales people steadying overselling over priced services.For what you pay here your dealership beats these prices, if you can go to a pepboys for better prices and services

I had a great a experience at this store, they were very quick on their work. The reason I cannot give them 5 stars is because my tires are rated for 35 PSI and the inflate them with 45 which can damage the tires in the long run.

I brought my car in for an estimate to fix some stuff. I got a estimate for THOUSANDS of dollars. I took it to another place and they fixed everything for less than $500.00. The second mechanic told me that many of the recommendations were unnecessary.

Took in my VW GTI to get the coils and spark plugs replaced and get an oil change. They charged me over $600, didnt use factory parts (so I had to take her in somewhere else when the coils broke again a month later), didnt put in the right oil, and they broke the oil drain valve. Horrible service, expensive, took forever, and they dont seem to know what theyre doing especially with higher performance cars such as the GTI. I wish I could give no stars.

Paid to have Tires rotated and alignment done. I marked the tires with a pen to make sure it was being done. After I paid I checked and the tires were still in the same place then before. The young Cuban mechanic started arguing with me that he did rotate the tires. LIARS!!!!(I did get a refund from manager)

Last time I went (and arrived super early), they took 3 hours to change a goddam tire!! 3 hours!! Is it so hard to apply common sense and for quick works like this assign priorities?

HONESTY HERE (you dont find this in Miami...): Our car had a squeak, which sounded like a belt going bad (the car had 60k miles, so made sense). We started at Goodyear across the street and they told us that our AC compressor was bad: $1400. This didnt make much sense so we took it by this Firestone and he the service rep told us belt and tensioner: $350. They werent happy with the diagnosis so they took a deeper look (on theyre own time) and found out it was actually a pebble lodged in the AC compressor cover. Final cost: $10. This is very rare to find around here. I dont write many reviews like this, but this was exceptional. THANK YOU FIRESTONE DADELAND :-)

They didnt even attempt to get my car on the alignment rack to align it, told me it wouldnt fit, Ive gotten the car on a higher rack before

Went there for wheel alignment, the rep told me that it would take 1 hour, but I sat there for 3 hours. They told me that there is a sale and the price is 169.99 but added fees and taxes to make the price 200 anyway.
