I absolutely love coming here. Everyone is so nice and professional and they genuinely care about their clients. Ricky is so nice and professional and knows what his clients want. Natalie is fun. I love getting pedicures from her. She is easy to talk to and just so sweet. I recommend everyone in the Tri-State area go to Rickys Nail Art. They treat everyone like family ❤❤
Will come back! MAKE SURE you make an appointment ahead online. Hard to get in. I was very happy with my nail design my Ricky he does a great job. WORTH THE MONEY!
My sister and I made appointments for 5pm. We got there a little bit early, and we expected that we had to wait a little bit for them to get to us. Well, they finally got to me at 5:40pm after they took another client back who got there after us. So I showed a picture of the nails I wanted and explained to him exactly what I wanted. He started by completely rushing my nails even though he took his time with the person before me. He didn’t do what I asked for even after showing him a picture, telling him two different times what I wanted, and asking him if he was going to do it the way I wanted after noticing it wasn’t what I asked for. He then stepped away from me for a bit and started working on another client’s nails. He also wasn’t wearing a mask. And my sister was still sitting waiting for her nails to be done. They didn’t get to her until after 6pm. What’s the point of making an appointment then??? I had really high hopes for this place, but I will not be coming back.
I had high expectations of Rickys based on reviews but the our experience was not the greatest. They did a good job on the pedicures themselves but the atmosphere was awful! I made an appointment for two of us to receive pedicures. Though, I think they just take anyone who walks in the door because we had to wait for walk ins that were in front of us. Which you can only make an appointment through their facebook page. Do not call the salon to make an appointment because they will not answer. When they were done with the people before us they did not switch out the bags that were around the bowl for the feet. I felt so gross the whole time we were getting our pedicures done. The whole time we were there I only saw one worker clean around her one pedicure station. The rest of the workers I did not see clean. I was also looking around the salon and while the furniture and decor is very nice I noticed nails on the ground everywhere!!!! Like everywhere! It was so gross walking around the salon. Even over by the foot drying station was dirty and not cleaned off and after awhile I noticed that it wasnt even turned on. But the worst part about this experience was that THE PHONE WOULD NOT STOP RINGING!!!! So right when you walk in the door they have a small counter where you check in and check out which is also where they keep their phone. During our whole entire appointment the phone just kept ringing and ringing and NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE ANSWERED IT! Now I listen to a phone ring constantly at work and we wanted to be relaxed while we were getting our pedicures. And when the phone would ring it would also say the name of the person who is calling.... The whole time the phone would ring and then say the name of the caller and then ring and say the name of the caller and so on. It was quite annoying and not relaxing at all. Even when employees were not working or in between clients still, no one would answer the phone! Employees would get up and drink their drinks around the salon and walk in and out of the front door. It was very distracting. If you are wanting a relaxing environment do not come here. If you want something quick then this is the place for you. But for me, I will not be returning.
Very professional, clean and super helpful staff. We were in the salon for a good 3 hours for 2 custom sets and pedicures. Honestly I would wait an hour for my appointment and appreciate my perfectly shaped nails and amazing designs than having some weird funny looking nails. We have been to ALL nails places in Evansville and the surrounding areas, we can guarantee you they do the best nails, period. You wait for good food in a restaurant so why not wait for the best nail artists?
I absolutely love Rickys! They did my nails for my wedding and I could not have asked for better!!They do a great job about ensuring you like the shape, length, and color of your nails. This is by far the best nail salon in Evansville!
I get my nails done maybe once a year, if that, so I wanted to try out what I’ve heard was supposed to be “the best place in town.” I don’t write reviews, never have, so when I tell you thisruined my entire night. My friend and I had appointments at 5 pm, we were there on time and yes there was a wait, so I was prepared to be sitting for a while. I’m the most understanding person in the world when it comes to customer service, but I just don’t understand why I was treated the way I was. A lady next to me had an appointment at 5:30, she and my friend both got in long before me. When I finally got seated at almost 7 pm (when they close) I was passed off by two different workers, one of whom left me to finish up the 5:30 appt lady next to me. By now it was well past 7 and he asked her how long shed been waiting. She said “since 5:30.” and my now almost 3 hour wait was never addressed. I could get over literally ALL of that if my nails weren’t already chipping all around (after 2 days) and if I didn’t pay $65 when I heard the same guy give his precious client a “discount” of $35 when her nails were very clearly more work.
First of all I would like to compliment Helen. She did my nails twice and each time they were perfect and she was very good about precautions. However Ricky and a few others were not wearing masks. Completely unprofessional. Upon bringing this to his attention he did not put one on.
Update: I was contacted and offered Rickys services, himself. I went in two weeks later (Id already had them redone at that point, didnt want to waste it) and Ricky filled my nails. While he did a fantastic job, I was surprised to still have to pay for it. All I can say is that Ricky, himself, is awesome at nails. But Im hesitant to return unless I get him. Which seems unlikely, since hell be in high demand. I cant really say Im super happy with the service overall but I am happy they at least reached out and that they do seem to care about their ratings. But they shouldve been more clear that they were not redoing my nails for free. Nails are my one luxury that I only do once a month. Spending the extra money really set me back and I wouldnt have spent it, had I known. This came highly recommended by several ladies in the area. I just moved here so I took their word. However, I was not impressed. At first glance, my nails looked fine. After a day, I noticed that a couple of them were crooked. Then, after about 4 days, the edges were already peeling up and chipping like crazy. I never submerge my hands. I always use gloves. I dont do anything rough on them. Just daily living. Very disappointed in the quality, especially after paying $65 for them. I suffered for two weeks before getting a fill in elsewhere. Will not be returning to Rickys.
The staff was extremely friendly when I came in and they got me in right away. They asked for what I wanted and tried to match it as close as possible. They made sure I liked it through the whole process and were very friendly even doing my nails. Not to mention their quality is very good and high tech. He made every nail even and they used a gel coat. Usually my nails become brittle when the acrylics come off, but they did not hurt my nail and they stayed on for a very long time. Definitely recommend. It is a little “pricey” but it is worth it. I am a regular acrylics buyer and they usually run me around $50 I paid $60 at Ricky’s but the $10 was worth the quality and service!
I have been going here for almost 2: years and never been disappointed. I really love this nail place and all the worker. If you havent tried Rickys Nail Art you missing out.
Never even made it into the salon. Phone never answers and finally when someone picked up the girl would not schedule me over the phone, only directed me to schedule on Facebook. Through Facebook messenger, I again experienced lack of communication in a timely manner and extremely rude customer service. Rickys salon lost my business before even getting in the door. Very disappointing.
Henry did an amazing job on my nails! I just recently moved to Indiana and have been traveling back to Tennessee to get my nails done. They were all very polite and professional! Ricky is a great salon owner
Update:Ricky replied very quickly to my complaint and was eager to fix it for me. I went back there today and Ricky was very nice and redid my nails for free and they turned out beautiful! If you are ever not happy, simply message Ricky and he will respond quickly to make sure you are fully satisfied and to help how he can! Mistakes happen, and now I have beautiful nails exactly how I wanted! I will definitely be going back as they do amazing work!Original:I was so excited to get my nails done at Ricky’s, as I always loved the pictures I see them post. I asked for matte coffin shaped nails. The guy used a shortcut to make them coffin by using the stiletto nail tips, which made my nails very thin and brittle and by the second day, I have already lost two nails that broke off by simple tasks like putting on clothes. I wanted them for vacation pictures, but two nails already broke off by the time we arrived. I also asked for matte and they are shiny. Not only are the nails so thin (width not thickness) across, they don’t even cover my whole nail, I have sides of my nails uncovered on both sides of the nail on most of my fingers. These “coffin” nails look NOTHING like any of the coffin shaped nails they have done and posted. Plus the man unevenly applied the powder as I’m missing the acrylic on parts of the nail tips he applied, which is partially the reason they are breaking so fast. I was so excited to get my nails done at such a highly reviewed nail spa, just to be greatly let down. I asked for a regular set priced at $30 (starting cost I understand there are added costs) just to have had to pay $60 (about the same price as CUSTOM sets) with a $10 tip just to arrive home and notice how poorly done my nails were. I have taken pictures of how poorly they look. I hate complaining and have never left a bad review, but I paid so much just for so many things to be wrong with my nails.
I’ve traveled all around the U.S and happened to be in Evansville for a friend’s wedding and I couldn’t believe there is a salon like this in Evansville. For a family business, this is absolutely the #1 nail salon in the U.S, no doubt. You can’t find a nail salon where all nail techs can do complicated designs and their nail shapes really stand out from the crowd. I’ve worked in the cosmetology (hair, nails, etc) for quite some times and I must say I am jealous with Ricky’s team. I may be able to perform their work the customer service, the supply and the equipments they have are top notch. If you can’t see the differences between Rickys nail shapes compared to other places in Evansville, you need to step up your nails game. Evansville is too lucky to have such great quality salon like Ricky’s, please move to New York in the future, you will still be top 1 there I promise.
What a joke of an establishment. Booked an appointment for myself & my fiancé, made it well before my appointment was supposed to take place and was never greeted (keep in mind it was not busy at all). I was there 15 min before my scheduled appointment, multiple staff members walked passed us checking out guests and didnt acknowledge myself nor my fiancé. After my appointment time at met I decided to wait another 15 minutes to be greeted and STILL nothing. At that point i decided to cancel our appointments and just leave. I have no idea how this place gets so much hype, its an absolute joke.
I love Rickys the environment is always clean and welcoming and the customer service is one of a kind and most of all there is no chemical smell like most nail shops
I wish I could give 0 stars. My friend and I had an appt and she got to go almost immediately, I waited at least 45 minutes while a man and woman (workers) walked around sweeping or doing nothing. I picked out a color but was told they couldnt do that color in matte, only powder colors, so I picked out a power color. I asked for acrylics, which I had never gotten before and did not know the procedure, what he was doing or what he would do next (to give me acrylics). He did not end up giving me acrylics, but he was filing my nails he would repeatedly hit my skin, chipped off some of the polish he just applied, and left nail visible under the polish, but somehow had it way too thick for me. Not sure if that was the powder, just how it is, or him applying it too thick but I was extremely unsatisfied. I will not be going back.
Currently waiting on my appointment that was scheduled a full hour ago. No apologies or explanations; I am just sitting here waiting. I have somewhere I needed to be in less than an hour. I didn’t realize scheduling a nail appointment 2 hours before I needed to be somewhere else would be cutting it so tight.Update: Ricky came up to me and asked if it was me who left the review and I said yes. His explanation was that they like to pay attention to the customer and sorry about that but I like my nails right? You could tell he was annoyed. And that was it. Bad excuse for having someone wait so long and then not offering even the smallest discount.Prepandemic I had come in with friends to get a simple full set. One color; no design. They took my friends but told me they had no time for me. A while later someone walked in (no appointment just like me) and asked for a set. They took her back right away. I obviously stepped in and said something. They took me but clearly had an attitude. I won’t be giving Rickys a 3rd chance to snub me. I’m not paying $80+ for simple designs and to wait for hours, be skipped over, and treated like an annoyance.
I found this salon on FB due to the amazing pictures of the work. Booked my first appointment on December 14, 2019 for March 12. Sent various pictures of what i wanted. That experience was terrible and even though I made an appointment i wasn’t called at the time of my appointment.I reached out and let them know how unhappy i was about my service. They asked if i could go back but i live in Jasper IN. and had a flight the next morning.I decided to give them a second chance booked an appointment on October 10th for 1pm but made sure i booked my appointment with ricky. I got there on time let them know I had appointment. Other employees kept coming up to me wanting to do my service but i let them know i had made my appointment with Ricky and if wasn’t available I could leave.I had drove once again all the way from jasper its not a short drive.Ricky came up to me and I told him about my past experiences and how i wanted him to do my service. It was 2.30 when i finally was called over. I like the why my nails turn out but they really need to be organized with their schedules and if they aren’t going to go about that then removed it as and option.I waited because i was told if i could wait 15min. It was way more then that. Yes i should have left but i had a especial occasion and needed them done. I just realized second chances should not be give.
Absolutely the best nail salon Ive been to in Evansville. Henry is my guy. He does an amazing job and is so creative! Rickys truly is a hidden gem.
Love them 😘 nails and feet 🐾
Absolutely the best place for everything, my pedicure was perfect, my husband had pedicures a few times at other places in the past but he fell asleep here and told me it was the best pedicure he ever had in his life. Everyone was so friendly, amazing atmosphere, all their clients seemed so happy and they weren’t shy to share their experience here. I had dipping powder, so thin and natural looking, best shape I’ve seen in my whole life, they took time even with painting gel polish for the lady next to me. I was stunned by the design of the girl sat behind me, it was something you could only see on Instagram done by famous nail artists. It seems like all their staff can do designs as well, I just can’t believe we have this top of the line nail salon in Evansville, best of the best. They are quite new but already so busy, you will want to make an appointment online.
BEST nail place in Evansville hands down. Very responsive, polite, and a very nice clean professional place. Best prices in town. Would recommend everyone to come here. Best experience I’ve had getting my nails done ever. Also they have a fan system and the place doesn’t have any nail salon smell at all. Very comfortable.
I was told this is the best nail place in town and I would definitely agree! Thanks guys!!
I recently moved to Evansville and have been getting acrylics for years in DFW Texas. the acrylics I got at Rickys just fell off in TWO DAYS, that has NEVER happened to me in my life!! Rickys seemed to be the only place in town that was up to date with nail art and style so I made a reservation. When I walked in no one greeted me I sat and waited for 5-10 minutes then had to go get someone’s attention to let them know I was there for a reservation, once someone can out they took me back to a chair without saying a single word to me. I was in to get nails for my birthday weekend and wanted a almond shape, the shape I got was way more narrow and pointed than I’m used to, but not terrible so I was cool with it. Then the nail tech tried the design I wanted on my pinky and it didn’t look great so I had to simplify my design so it would look decent. I leave somewhat okay with my over priced nails on Friday, and as I remind you I’ve bees getting acrylics for years and come Monday two of my nails have broken completely off. I am so disappointed DO not waste your money here!!
I have visited almost all salons in Evansville and no one could do a design I showed them for my wedding party until I found Ricky. I will make it simple that if Ricky and his salon is number 2 in Evansville, there wont be anyone in the top 1 spot, at least for now.The salon is upper scale, absolutely beautiful and very high tech, probably the best in all Evansville, there is no chemical smell in the salon as they invested in a fan system that is built in their work stations, it sucks in all dust and chemical smell while they work on your nails. I am so happy that I found this place, everyone is so friendly and professional and most importantly, their skill is top notch and they have the biggest OPI and color dipping powder collection you could ever imagine.
Loved this salon! It was such a modern and inviting atmosphere. Everyone was very nice and they did a great job! Will definitely be back!
Favorite place to go too! My mom and I got Pedicures there it was so relaxing and they are super nice. I also get my nails done by Ricky he is amazing. Definitely the best nail salon in Evansville. Very clean and nice salon!💖
I was skeptical at first with all the good reviews they have for just being open a few months ago but I am now happy to confirm that this is the best nail salon in Evansville and the surrounding areas, could possibly the best in Indianapolis as well (I am from Indianapolis). Who could have thought a small town like Evansville has a great technician like Ricky and his family owned business. The salon is modern, simple and elegant, everyone is so nice, mind blowing customer service and best quality results. Not to mention Ricky’s mother and sister are also great artists. If you live in Evansville and have not visited the salon yet, you are missing out big time. They do walk-in but you should book appointment online on their website or fb page ahead of time, they are busy.
I traveled 45 minutes to have my nails done at Ricky’s place twice a month. My nails easily stayed for 3-4 weeks, his work is so quality but I always want to have fresh nails done. The salon is so beautiful and I heard people can book appointments online through their facebook page, any nail salon in Evansville can do that? Just wow! And if you can’t book with Ricky, go with his sister Kelsi, she is a rising star, her dipping powder technique is #1 in Evansville now I can guarantee you that. (Ricky is also #1).
This is by far the best nail salon in Evansville and the surrounding areas. I have been getting my nails done by Ricky for over a year and have never been disappointed. Ricky is very educated and excited about nails and it shows in his artistry.
Best nail salon in the tri-state area. Clean, friendly, warm environment. Helen was amazing. Will recommend to everyone I know!
Amazing, comfortable atmosphere! Talented and thorough in their services!
If you want to experience the best shape in the whole Evansville, Ricky and his team is the shape King and Queen. Not to mention his color mixing skill and art designs. We finally have a true professional in town. Thank you!
Perfect Pedi and best massage I’ve ever had in my life. Ricky’s dad is like a master masseur, he put me to sleep instantly.... so comfortable.
Really nice atmosphere, everyone was very friendly. I will definitely go back.
No one has ever taken so much time on my feet and hands for the perfect Mani/Pedi. I will always come to Rickys Nail Art from here on out! They are the best in the area! Very pleased!!
Overall amazing experience! The salon is so nice, friendly staff. Ricky was great! I will only go here from now on!

Loved the atmosphere, everyone was super nice and they did a great job on our nails! I definitely recommend them!!!
They have great customer service, it was my first time there today and my nails looked amazing!! I definitely recommend this nail salon as my number one favorite on the list out of all.
Made a appointment this week and it got confirmed but then said they were booked this week but I wasnt sure if they meant to send me the message so I called and got no answer. Then I sent a message and still didnt get a answer.
Great customer service and my nails are beautiful.
Fantastic! There is no need to go anywhere else. If you havent tried, youre missing out.
Always perfect love this place
Love this place! So clean!
Very professional
Sometimes you wait entirely too long.
Did not like color and the lady was rude and did not want to change color! She finally changed per manager but did awful job! Did not paint all the nail!
