I had the rudest lady refused to talk to me refused to clean up under my nails said if I wanted my nail skin around the edge cleaned up she was gonna charge me extra and when I asked for some lotion to rub over my hands since she would cut the skin she also said she had to upcharge me. Was extremely rude and used a color I didn’t pick when I pointed it out to her she said she already started and wouldn’t stop. I will NEVER come again I came with 4 other people and we all are extremely disappointed we paid 50$ Each and they look AWFUL. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL

I recently went with my mother who was visiting from Canada to get pedicures. My mother had gel nails applied and during removal the technician cut her cuticle with the burr and she didn’t say sorry. About a week after our pedicures we BOTH developed a cuticle abscess. Gross!! I’ve been going to Shangri-La for three years and this is the first bad experience. I don’t think I’ll be returning since I think their cleanliness standards and professionalism has fallen by the wayside recently

Got my nails done by Tommy, the gel polish started peeling an hour after I got home. I drove back and they made me feel like it was my problem and because I chose a different color (didn’t trust the first one I chose), they said they would charge me $10 next time. They will not because I will never come back.

Staff was friendly. They finished my pedicure faster than where I usually go and I didnt have to wait for a chair to open. They had signs up all over their shop that they will increase their prices starting June 7th, 2021 due to the cost of the supplies used have gone up. The actual price increase was not posted.

Great aesthetic as far as the salon goes. I came in a about an hour and ten minutes before they closed. It’s my birthday and my boyfriend said he would get a manicure with me. I wanted to get an acrylic set as well. They completely ignored me when I said I wanted a manicure and my cuticles look awful. They did a great job on my boyfriends manicure. His tech, a younger girl, was super kind and tried to tease him about getting a color on his nails. This was after about 20 minutes of his and my techs talking in another language and laughing a lot. My tech talked to me twice the whole time I was there. She never introduced herself so I don’t know her name, she was an older lady with black glasses. She assumed I wanted my nails short and cut them without asking me. She did a terrible job shaping my nails. One hand does not match the other and several nails are oddly misshapen. The color I picked on the template looks nothing like the color of my nails. The paint is streaky and the underside of my nails is gunky. Would not recommend and I will not be back. The only reason I tried this salon is because Modern Nails and Spa is closed on Sundays. I will gladly wait next time. They charged me $5 more than my regular place. I hate not leaving a tip so I tipped her $10 for both mine and my boyfriends nails. Never again.

They have always done a great job in my pedicures. I’ve never had a mani, but I take other people here, and they love it as well. You feel as if you’ve had a full body massage because of their massaging chairs.

Kelsea is the best. I have searched my entire life for the perfect pedicure and I finally found it. Kelsea’s attention to detail is unreal and my toe nails literally look perfect when I leave. Nails even, soft feet, and she’s fun to chat with. What more could you want?! Call and book an appointment with her. You won’t regret it! Thanks again Kelsea!

We have used this location a few times since my daughter moved to the area for college and gotten both pedicures and manicures. Every time we make an appointment we still end up waiting a significant period of time for an available tech. Today, someone walked in for service after we’d been waiting for over 30 minutes past our appointment time and received service before my daughter and I. We will not be using this location again.

I love my nails! This is officially my new nail salon. I highly recommend this business, they do beautiful work at an excellent rate and they have you in & out on time.

I started going here as soon as it opened and I’ve always had a pleasant experience. That being said, today was very unpleasant.I started off with a pedicure and the lady wrapped my nails with acetone since I had gel on from two weeks ago. I normally peel it off, but it had not started to loosen up. The nail tech was very slow with the pedicure and about 20 minutes in, my fingers started to burn. I should have said something, but I just waited patiently. After it was done, she made me carry my phone, wallet, shoes and drink to the nail station with the foil still on. Once I sit down, she gets up and leaves, so I take off the foil because I couldn’t bear it any longer. She gets back and asked why I took it off and I told her it had been burning and she got upset and said that now it’s going to harden and it’s going to be tough to get it off. I told her I was sorry. She kept saying (3 more times) that I shouldn’t have taken those off and then she even grabs one of my fingers and puts it on a finger on my other hand and says “see, it’s hard”. I was very upset that she kept bringing it up even after I apologized and she acted like I committed a criminal act. It wasn’t even hard to get off. On top of that, she painted one nail at a time, which means that I had to have much more UV exposure and took so much more time. My pedicure looked good, but my polish on my nails is very uneven. I was going to get my eyebrows waxed, too, but decided to pass on that because I thought she’d mess them up on purpose. I’ve never tipped less than 20%, but I couldn’t leave her more than $5. Had she been pleasant, she could have made $6 more dollars plus 20% of the cost of the wax.I would have given just 1 star, but I thought I’d be fair since it’s normally a good experience. I’ll be going back to Mod Nails for future services.

This was the worst experience ever. I never ever leave comments but I believe the employees over here are awful. I’m new to this part of the city and I came with my mother and sister for both pedicures and manicures. I personally got the acrylic nails. The nail techs lacked customer service; there was zero interactions with clients. I thought it was just me but my sister and mother also made comments about the poor service. After we paid for our service, I informed one of the nail techs that their customer service was horrible. They didn’t seem to care a bit nor acknowledge the feedback. I’m definitely not coming back here!!

Very disappointed. Little to no leg/foot massage with second tier pedicure, poor job of application of nail polish, little to no personal interaction with customers but much loud conversation and giggling among staff, poor customer service, lack of concern, basically cold and unfriendly.

Do not go to Shangri La II Nail Bar Edmond ! I had a 1:30 appointment with Betty. Betty just refused me service because she has said she doesn’t feel confident doing my nails. I asked her today, is someone booked at my appt. She said no, “I didn’t KNOW it was YOU when you called”! Then says. I don’t feel confident doing your nails. If that’s not racist I don’t know know what is! Previously she had double booked and said she don’t think she can satisfy me. 3 out of the 4 times I been there it’s been a problem. Keep in mind you I’m usually always the only Black person in there! The only other black lady in the I have seen in the total 4 times, said she’s been having problems as well. They are located across the street from Uptown Grocery!!!!! I BELIEVE I was DENIED SERVICE BECAUSE OF MY RACE.

I’ve been coming here for the last few months. I always do the dip powder. I have to say, I’ve never been just over the top happy with my nails from here, but they do a decent job. However, today I was not happy whatsoever. I got a new person and did the dip as usual. Instead of putting the top coat on when she was done she put THE ADHESIVE GEL on my nails and let me sit for 20+ minuets for them to dry (which obviously never happened because it was glue). I realized it was glue when I touched my nail and had a hard time getting my finger off. A different person had to file off the glue and correct her mistake. So basically I wasted almost 35 minuets. It may be time to look for yet another nail salon...

Although I get pedicures infrequently, I’ve been wanting to find a great place close to home to occasionally get them. Before an October vacation, I noticed the newly opened Shangri La II Nail Bar, and decided to go inside for a pedicure.Although I’ve had less than 15 pedicures in my life thus far, the pedicure at Shangri La was my best experience to date! The technician is WONDERFUL! I could be incorrect, but I believe she goes by “Mimi”. It was incredibly relaxing, and she took her time to provide the best pedicure experience. I left with pretty toes, and happy to find my new place for pedicures. Also, if anyone has a nerve disorder like me, you’ll be extremely pleased with her technique. It was perfect in helping my feet and legs feel better.Afterwards, customers can go next door to All About Cha, to get one of many healthy tea options! Overall, I love the new salon and surrounding area; it’s a great addition to an area of Edmond that’s expanding daily!

I will never go anywhere else again! They pay extream attention to detail and make sure youre happy. They give you a basket with a water, soda, and chex mix when you go in so you have something to keep you from getting hungry or thirsty. They also do birthday parties and Bachelorette parties

I have been here several times just because it’s close to my house but I am officially done using this nail salon. They are never friendly and act like it’s such an inconvenience to do your nails when you walk in. Their shallac never last. It’s supposed to last about 2 weeks and it’s already peeling off around the edges in 3 days. Complete waste of money.

My first and last visit. No one seems friendly, they seem to pick and choose who’s shoulders they want to massage, they talk to each other instead of us clients, my nails look really bad, it’s the first place I’ve been to that doesn’t have a nail dryer.

I will not go to their nail shop again. I thought v- nails was bad they are worst. Charge me 35 for a fill. I ask the guy to remove all the nail polish from under my nails and he didnt plus he didnt even cover my whole nails with polish. So no tip from me or my service again.

The worst manicure Ive ever gotten to the point that we still laugh about the experience three weeks later. My mother basically left with her fingers glued together.
