It was my first time getting my nails done and I have always been picky- but they did a great job! I loved how my nails turned out and their patience with me being new. I would definitely be returning and recommending it to my friends. I love that it’s a clean place and make you wash your hands when you come in. Their prices are also really good for nails- they do a fantastic job.

This place has out done itself and that says a lot especially for a business. They have good prices for nails, appropriate to the labor. I am personally new to the place, I love that they don’t charge extra for length or shape, I recommend nick heard (from coworkers) that he’s amazing with long nails and ombré work, he is great with people and is a perfectionist LOVE THAT❤️. The moment I walked in the atmosphere was so nice and smelled amazing, at some nail salons they smell like nails but not this one it smelled good and relaxing. Very clean. Make sure that we clean our hands protecting the safety of them and us. Also when I walked in I was greeted and asked what they can help me with. We had booked an appointment and our first time with SOHO Nails was AMAZING:) I personally recommend NICK he takes his time, he talks to you, he asks you is everything okay with the work he is doing. Saw Michael and gave him the photo with the sleeve, leaving with the photo in front of a sidewalk. He took over 2 hours for a mani/pedi which was 100% worth it. He paid such close attention to my cuticles and the health of my nails. You should go here.

Great customer service and super clean. Were a little short staffed but communicated with customers and still gave a great experience. Give them a break if they are busy with wait times/short on staff during these crazy times, they are great and do an excellent job!

This is my favorite place to get my nails done, and I will never go anywhere else! They are always friendly and professional and do amazing work. Dana is fabulous!! She is so meticulous and takes her time paying attention to every detail to make sure my set comes out perfect every time. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I got acrylic french tips about a week ago, i had a great experience and loved my nails, a couple days ago the nail polish started to chip and peel off. I have got better nails for $35 compared to this which I payed $60 for. VERY disappointed.

I mean just look at how gorgeous my nails looked for my engagement shoot! The prettiest and strongest nails I’ve ever had. I don’t want to go anywhere else!

Soho is my go to for nails and toes in Durham & chapel hill area! All of the workers are so so sweet and know who I am. They can get busy so making an appt is always the best option! Owners are almost always there and working alongside employees/helping customers. I’ve recommended multiple friends to this salon. Highly recommend!!

Pretty disappointed with the overall quality vs. cost. The polish was bumpy and uneven. Shaping was crooked and and inconsistent. The person who was doing my nails was distracted and consistently left the station to play with others. I was in a rush to leave to get back to Charlotte so I didnt complain then but the more I look at them, the more Im disappointed I spent my money there. At least t looks nice inside :/

Due to the pandemic, I havent been to Soho in almost a year, and I was a little hesitant to go back. However, their website outlined the comprehensive Covid precautions theyre taking, and they were definitely following those procedures when I went in. I felt safe, and Im so happy to have my nails done again! I get the SNS dip manicure, and they always do a great job.

The salon is beautiful and super clean. MC and Kim were amazing! They took their time without being slow at all and they wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied before I walked out. Was disappointed that they didnt even try to do the design that I showed them. Said that they couldnt. Wasnt a difficult design either. Went to MiMi Nail and Spa they did it.

I enjoyed my experience at SOHO! My fiancé and I both loved our pedicures. I also got my acrylics replaced (they weren’t done so well before) and they fixed me right up with natural looking nails with the exact design I asked for. The salon is very clean and the vibe is great. Will be making this place our new regular!

Don’t bother “making an appointment ” on line. They don’t care nor do they schedule for the 6 people who show up for the appointment they all have at the same time. And they are rude about it telling you you’ll just have to wait.

Kim does a great job on my nails! Ive had both SNS and gel done here and love both. Theres a great variety of colors & designs and I always love the shape of my nails as well. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming! Would definitely recommend for your next nail appt.

Went for first time today. The staff were very friendly and the place was very clean with Covid precautions in place. I am very happy with my pedicure and my daughter loves her manicure. We will definitely go back.

Ive been going to SoHo for a few months now. My nails are always done to my liking. I usually go see Kim for my nails but all of the employees do a great job. Every one is friendly and the salon is always immaculate.

They were no help at all and they said they would call and never did.

My wife walked in at 6:27p. She was immediately spoken to by a woman who, after looking at the wall clock, told her they closed at 7p. Yup, 33 mins was not enough to service my wife. She wasn’t asked what service she was there for, just told she couldn’t be served.In an economy where 100,000 small businesses have closed permanently, this experience is pretty bizarre. The worst part is at my insistence my wife called back and spoke to the “owner”. This “owner” sort of apologizes, says some BS about the situation being “unacceptable”.BUT, instead of this so called owner begging my wife to IMMEDIATELY return to her establishment, and calling ahead to ensure those workers sabotaging her business would be addressed, she simply offers her 50% off service TOMORROW, even after explaining we were in town visiting. Sad, sad, sad “service” and clearly this service was, in fact, acceptable to the owner. But if it’s me, I’m not letting a single, solitary cent walk out the door knowing how hard people work for their money.Would not wish it, but wouldn’t be surprised if this joint is closed forever soon.

I love going here. I have never had a problem until today. I got my nails done at 1:00 by Kevin. Three hours later the clear coat has chipped off most of my nails. I am SO disappointed. I am sad that I will now have to find a new place to go to.

I had to refill my Acrylic nails made about 3 weeks ago and I thought to search for the nearest nail studio to me,Soho nails came up as one of most reviewed so I gave it a go and I am so pleased at the service,staffs were professionals,polite, and courteous.The guy who made my nails( apologies I didnt get his name)owned his craft,he did an excellent job and just to add the place is really huge, clean, with safety guidelines adhered to and has another section for pedicure and manicure.Definately going back for that.I have found my nail shop in Durham NC. We called at 2:30pm to make an appt for later in the day. The employee scheduled my sister and I for a 4pm gel mani appt. When we arrived and told them we were there for our 4pm they said they didn’t have time for us and they’re too busy. They told us we can wait another 45 min and weren’t even apologetic about the miscommunication between their staff. They actually seemed annoyed we showed up. Never returning and would not recommend.

I have been going to Soho for 3+ years now and can’t imagine going anywhere else! I started going to them when Kim still owned the location in Cary and was blown away at how great they were. Now I drive almost an hour to this location because I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my nails (and all I get are manis and pedis!). The techs are seriously the best of the best. I have been going to the same girl, MC, since I discovered Soho but I would trust anyone else there if MC was not available. Kim and Vic truly care about their customers’ experience. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend checking them out!

The person I had was very professional and let me examine her work for any mistakes, which there werent any. My fiancee received a pedicure and was happy with the results. I will go back there for my next fill.

Staff was professional and the services I received (mani/pedi) were as expected. They only issue I had was the seat not being cleaned and sanitized before they tried to seat me.

I used to go to a different salon and had issues with my nails constantly breaking. I came to SoHo based on a friend’s recommendation, and Kim immediately pointed out the things the other salon was doing wrong and fixed my nails. I then started to go to SoHo and see Kim regularly and haven’t had issues with my nails breaking since! I have also gotten some of the prettiest nails I’ve ever had in my life. I’m convinced there’s nowhere better to get my nails done, and the price is very reasonable for the quality that you’re getting. They do temperature checks, ask all guests to wash their hands, and use plexiglass dividers between the client and nail tech. It’s a beautiful and clean salon. You won’t regret coming here!

I have been going to the Soho nail spa in Cary and started to going to the one in Durham since they opened. I absolutely love it! Kim (the owner of the spa) is very friendly and all the clients are very detailed and clean. My client Van does an amazing job and Im always willing to drive extra miles to get my nails done! :)

Best experience Ive had at a nail salon. Very classy and comfortable with drinks available and Friends playing on big TVs. Everyone was nice and the older lady who did my pedicure did a great job. There was a bit of a wait, but worth it. Too bad Im from out if town :-/

The first visit I made to this salon, I ask for powder nails since I have a hard time growing my nails. When I went back to have them removed and replaced I was informed that I had a nail fungus and they could not put new powder nails on. I was told to use perioxide for 3 days and then they would be able to put on a new set. They did not take responsibility for the fungus infection or offer to rectify the situation. I have been having my nails done for 30 years at different salons and have never had a fungus; yet, they want to deny this happened at their salon.

I enjoyed the service I received today at SoHo. The salon was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. My seven year old picked out her color. And the polish change on her hands and feet had dried before my full set was complete. I appreciate the same day appointment.

I was recommended this place by a coworker and went it to get a basic gel manicure. I had on tips with powder over. I was in between appointments with my normal person. The Person who took me was really confused as how to take the tips off for starters. they soaked like normal and I told them a few times I had broken a nail just expecting them to put some glue on it. They proceeded to start to file it which caused it to peel back more. Little frustrated I just said cut them short, I know my nails are on the thinner side from constant product. they clipped them so short I ended up with a cut under a few nail beds. The manicure was a little cuticle oil and just a bed push back no water soak nothing. The gel was applied and I mention a bubble on one of my nails. Figured it was just excess top coat? They tired to fix it and in the process started to peel back the set gel almost taking my nail off. I had to say please stop twice. I think they Person who did my nails wasn’t a certified tech. I could have ask and in the end was so ready I paid the 50$ that was grossly over charged. This happened this past Saturday. Im writing this now because as horrible was it was I had a hope it would last until I could see my usual person at my salon. However here I am spending more money to get supplies to take the half peeled gel off and hopefully won’t find a half pulled off nail underneath. I hope when the owner sees this they don’t put unqualified people on their floor for walk ins. The space itself it’s great and most clients seemed really happy. I was not one.

Wow, finally found a great nail salon in Chapel Hill/Durham area! Got there right at 10 for a SNS soak-off - seated right away and taken great care of. Seems like it would get very busy so likely best to make an appointment. Definitely will be coming back!

Lovely salon, very clean. Theres a sign as soon as you walk in explaining what measures they take to make your pedicure safe and thats extremely important. Very friendly people, great massage! Only took about 40 minutes on a very busy Sunday to get seated.

I had an incredible experience at this nail salon today. I have had bad experience after bad experience at other salons in the area, and Im so glad that, after living in Chapel Hill for 2 years, I finally found this place. I will never go to another salon. The service was quick and polite, prices were Fair, and the product they deliver is far better than anything else youll find in the area. Everything is incredibly clean and stylish, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.

Nice salon and good service (reason for 2 stars). I came in for a gel polish change and a pedicure. My nails chipped the very next day. I’ve NEVER had gel polish chip, EVER and I’ve at times kept gel polish on for longer than 2 weeks.I brought a friend of mine as well and she got a regular polish change and she said the same thing happened to her nail the SAME day she got them done.I will not return - after paying $95 before tip (i took my daughter too - she’s 4 so we knew her nails would chip), I’d hope for better quality.

(I’m using my husband’s google account.)I have been extremely pleased with the service I’ve received at Soho Nail Lounge! Particularly with Van. He really pays attention to detail and is very kind. I have oily nail beds, so unfortunately my gel manicure started chipping quickly. I called Van and he told me to come back in and he gave me a completely fresh SNS manicure for no extra cost!

Great place! I got an SNS dip manicure and a pedicure. Money did my SNS and he was fantastic. Took is time and made them perfect. I’ve been driving all the way to Cary from chapel hill because I haven’t been able to find a decent place here but now I have! Will not go anywhere else.

I went here two times, and both times the staff made a mistake and cut my skin open. The first time, the girl cutting my nails was careless with the cuticle cutter and cut too deep, causing it to bleed and hurt a lot. The second time, a different girl who was filing my nails managed to slice two of my fingers open with the file. Although the nails looked fine, I am afraid of going back because I don’t want to be injured again. My fingers hurt a lot, and I did not receive any compensation or discount from them. I do not trust any staff there not to cut my hands again.

I did not have the best experience here as I would have liked. My friend called twice before walking in to make sure that it was ok to come in at 7 (before the place closed at 7:30). The lady on the other side said that it was fine but that night she let most of the staff go by 6:45pm so only four of us could get our nails done. The workers claimed that it was a miscommunication. I picked out the nails that I wanted to get and I got a employee that had airpods in his ears the whole time that he was painting my nails. He never tried to engage in a conversation. At the end, my polish on my nails looked very clumpy and there was paint on my skin.

Michael and the other woman I had there but I forgot her name were fantastic. I’ve gone twice and had manis and a pedi.The place is big and clean and well designed with real live plants. The service is excellent and they have fair prices.

I got a pedicure here last night and it was a fantastic experience, the man who did my nails was very friendly and we had a great conversation, the prices are very good for manicures (18 dollars) and I was offered a free soda which most places will make you pay. I will definitely come back any times I want my nails done.

Ive been looking for a new nail place for a while and was excited to go. Its beautiful interior and reasonable prices. I was put off by the person who did my nails. I was on time for my appt time, it didnt start for at least 15 mins and I had plans after. There was a lot of goofing off and the prraon listen when I said not to touch my cuticles, as they still hurt several days later from being roughly done. They do look nice. But I wont be back. Out to find a new place now.

I felt like such a burden to everyone here. The nice backwards hat guy was the only one who made me feel welcome. When I came in an hour and half before close (my bad) the staff just stared at me and no one said anything. It was my first time in here so I wasnt sure where to go to be helped or if it was appointments only. I came through the back so decided to go to the front and I found the front desk. A guy asked me how he could help me and I told him I wanted gel mani and regular pedi. He looked extremely confused and worried, and mentioned that the mani and pedi would have to be done at the same time since they closed soon. Im totally fine with that, thats more convenient for me, but I guess thats why everyone looked confused and hadnt said anything to me - they didnt want me there. I asked the guy if the salon could do blue chrome nails. He showed me a purplish black chrome powder and a silver powder but said it can only be done on black nails. I didnt understand why so later I asked the woman doing my nails if I could have blue chrome nails. She said they didnt do chrome at all. I told her thats odd because the guy at the desk showed me 2 different chrome powders. Then the backwards hat guy doing my pedi explained only the owner could do chrome, and she wasnt in today. So I got 3 different answers about the chrome. The guy from the front desk also made another mention about leaving on time. Overall, my nails look very good and the guy who did my pedicure was extremely nice, patient and respectful to me. But Ive learned my lesson about coming that late. I didnt like the overall unwelcoming atmosphere of everyone else.

Best nail salon I know of in the area! Kim does a great job on my nails (SNS / dip powder) and they have fair prices. Lots of colors to choose from as well which is great for SNS. Id recommend making an appointment so you know you wont have to wait at all!(Side note... SMH to the girl who gave a 3 star review because she came in 30 mins before close expecting to get 2 hours worth of services - which is so rude in the first place - from happy staff. They had every right to be less than pleased! Rant over lol)
