I have been going to this talented young lady for over 5 years and I am crazy about her and her skills lol. I used to HATE going to stylists; they always cut too much, they never gave me the style that I wanted, or laughed at a style that I wanted. I dont enjoy doing my own hair because I am transitioning and it is a pain to deal with two different textures but somehow Marlena can tame this mess and make me look like I just stepped out of a salon until it is time to return.I thank her for everything that she does, I enjoy our conversations when I mam in the shop and love seeing her adorable kids, b/c they remind me of my niece and nephew. Excellent stylist and colorist. She cares about the health of your hair and takes the time to explain the impact various products will have on your hair. She is by far the best natural hairstylist Ive ever met. When i get a silk press people think the my hair has a relaxer and when its pressed out it last close to two weeks. She is amazing with color and her color products condition my hair and leaves it shiny and bouncy. I have naturally curly hair and after i get my color treatments my curls still pop with absolutely no hair damage or random staight pieces from over processing.
