I love their covid 19 precautions in which customers and employees have to wear a mask, despite being vaccinated. I love the team there are so full of creativity and light! This was my first time at this nail salon and I have to say I was impressed💕💅🏾 I recently moved to the area and was worried if I would find a suitable replacement nail tech.. And now I have!! They were so welcoming and the owner was very knowledgeable and didn’t mind sharing her knowledge 💕. This is a black owned and operated establishment which made me even happier😍🥰💅🏾. From the moment I walked in I knew I was at nail home.... Kirby did a FANTASTIC job on reshaping my nails and understood the thickness that I liked. I didnt make an appointment but did curiosity call to let them know I was coming in as a walk in. The shop was clean and inviting, and temperature checks are preformed. I been in Durham almost 3 years and I have finally found my nail home! Thanks ladies I look forward to my return

My sister and I went for the first time today to get acrylics and it was overall an amazing experience. The nail technicians were very good at making my sister feel comfortable seeing as she had never gotten her nails done before! Good quality nails, very creative nail technicians, and very inexpensive. Loved the atmosphere and will definitely be going back again!

I happened to find this amazing nail salon off the whim. I needed a same day appointment (my nails were looking rough after not having them done in a year).It was such a good energy in the salon. The owner and staff all were so pleasant, warm and accommodating.I absolutely will be back!

I went to another nail salon on yesterday and received the worse set of nails ever in my life, they looked like light bulb finger nails. I went to Trendy nails today and man I must say the owner is very nice and she brought me all the way back. She hooked me up and I am so happy with my nails. This is my new nail place.

Came to Durham for the weekend and I really needed a pedicure. They had great service and gave me an amazing pedicure. Everyone was super nice. They do require everyone to wash hands once you enter the salon. I love it, they are doing a great job keeping everyone clean!

Came to appt in time and Monica took someone else and told me it would be 16 mins after I was their earlier came back and I was on time she said she read her watch wrong she loudly said I was late when i actually in time she was not nice if Im wrong Im going to apologize and make the person wait until after she didnt care i had somewhere to go and was rude sorry never experienced nothing but greatness their until Monica did that that day so if I decide to return will never bool w her

NOT PROFESSIONAL. I’m visiting Durham for the weekend. I called to see if there’s a wait, they said there wasn’t. I was 3 mins away, so I headed over there. I walk in and there is one technician working on a client. She said she’s going to call the other tech to come in. Another girl comes in talking about how she got wasted the night before. I thought this was the technician. Another technician comes in and asks what service I’m in for and then asks if I have a mask. I say I do not but I am vaccinated. She said she prefers I wear one and calls out to the other technician, who proceeds to say she has masks for $2. I tell her I’m not buying one. She then tells me to consider another salon. I told her I wished they would have said something the moment I walked in instead of having me wait for the tech to finally come in.Just sharing my experience. If I lived here, I would never stop by.

I went there as a walk in to get an acrylic Fill-In and was met by the most pleasant greetings when I walked in. I had never been there and was excited to support a black owned nail business.I would definitely recommend anyone in the area looking for a unique, CLEAN PROFESSIONAL nail experience. They do a great job on your nails and the women are all super nice. However, I went there Christmas weekend looking to get serviced they were closed, I don’t know why their website still let me book an appointment if they were going to be closed. Second time I set an appointment and I go there and they’re closed, I think they was just siting in the car.

Had an appointment and didnt have to wait at all! Tamera did my full set and shes awesome! I gave her free reign and she did the dang thing!! Ill definitely be getting my nails done at Trendy Nails from now on! Prices are very affordable too! Everyone was extremely nice and the atmosphere was laid back! They are clean and well organized, big selection of nail polishes!

I had a great experience yesterday ! Everything was so clean and everybody was very friendly and helpful ! Not only did I love my valentine set that I got on my nails but I loved the vibe as well . I will be back !

Great place to get your nails SLAYED! friendly.Update (long, sorry): I have made four appointments here. But have only been here twice. The first appointment was successful, thats where my first review came from. The second appointment was for November 29th at 7 pm. I arrived about 4 minutes early and no one was there. Waited for 20 minutes but no one showed. I sent an email and IG (Instagram) message while I waited but did not receive a reply to either. I rescheduled for the next day and was able to be seen then. I was told that she (the tech) just wasnt informed that she had an appointment. Made another appointment for December 28th 4 pm. I left work late so I called, but no answer. Arrived about 407. No one there. Again, waited 20 minutes. Sent email and IG message but no reply. I understand that things happen. Its the holidays, life has a tendency to be unpredictable. It is the lack of communication/professionalism that baffles me. I am not expecting some discount or freebie. Its a business. But I do expect to be acknowledged. In other words, a REPLY. If the establishment isnt/wasnt open, then I shouldnt have been able to schedule online. If life got on the way, reply to an email or IG message. If you dont want my business, say that too. At this point, it is just implied. I want to support my fellow queen in her endeavors. My nails were on point to the two times they were done. But to ignore a client is not the way to handle things. This was nail shop #10, the other place I dont like their work. I thought I was finally done looking but the search continues.

I found this salon via Instagram and made an appointment with Kirbee. When I arrived at the salon I was instantly greeted with smiling/welcoming faces as though they already knew me. The salon was very well maintained and every nail tech was friendly. The nail techs at this salon has skills and are good at what they do. I LOVED MY NAILS!! Today was my second time getting my nails done and will be a loyal customer.

The artist are very talented and friendly. I liked the music (hope I wasn’t singing too loud). I had nails removed and I have never had that service done at a salon and left with my real nails intact! Can’t wait to return...💋

Went there this weekend and the wait was pretty long but that was the ONLY downside to Trendy Nails. They’re very welcoming and super sweet. I got acrylics and they came out PERFECT. The shape was perfectly executed and cleaned up. They have lots of colors, 4 walls of colors! Nails look very clean and the conversations were great.

Their nails last up to 3weeks and still look good. It’s affordable and black owned. I love them!!!

I have a ‘Niece-in-law’, who gets her Nails done at the Salon in the Lakewood Shopping Center, in Durham, NC & her Nails always looked ‘Wonderful!’ 🤗 She would always get a lot of ‘Compliments’ on them & would tell me to go there & get my Nails done too. So, finally I decided to call & try to make an Appt. I was told to go to their ‘Website’ to schedule one. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any openings, but I was told to do a ‘Walk-in’ anyway. 👧🏽I was pleasantly surprised, because my ‘Niece-in-law’ had an Appt. on that same day! 😀 Here’s a List of things that made me have a ‘Positive’ experience at that particular Salon:FIRST- I was able to get a ‘Same’ day Appt.SECONDLY- The ‘Staff’ were nice enough to assist me with ‘Directions.’THIRDLY- Whenever I entered into the Salon, I ‘Immediately’ noticed how ‘Clean’ and ‘Beautifully’ decorated it was inside.FOURTHLY- All the Staff ‘Greeted’ me with ‘Smiles.’FIFTHLY- The young lady who did my Nails was very ‘Gentle’, because I have a ‘Medical’ condition with my hands.SIXTHLY- All of the Staff worked together as a ‘Team’, and we’re very ‘Professional’ and ‘Polite.’ Me being an ‘Evangelist’, I know how ‘Important’ it is to be a ‘People’ Person.SEVENTHLY- Whenever the young lady was finished with my Nails, she even took pictures of my hands, also another Staff Member took a ‘Full’ Body Shot of me with my ‘New’ Nails. 💅🏾Lastly, the ‘PRICE WAS RIGHT!!!’ 💲☑️I had such a ‘Blessed’ experience! The shop opens at 9:30am on a Saturday my appointment was at 10:00am I show up at 9:54am and the doors are locked with no one in site and for me to set an APPOINTMENT weeks in advance is the up most unprofessional experience Iv ever had I was trying to support out black owned business but this makes us look bad I will never return again even though I’m walking distance from the shop

As soon as you enter here you are greeted with a nice welcome. The nail techs take their time and listen to whatever your needs are. They give you your money’s worth, meaning whatever detail you want on your nails they won’t leave a single detail out. The most important thing is that they make you feel comfortable the whole time.

Love the environment and the feel at home fungswae! The owner has been doing my nails over 15 years and her staff has been trained by the best. You get in and out! The customer service is a 10. Very clean!
