Immaculate service. The employees treat you as if you’re family and make the spa feel as if you’re right at home. Amazing hospitality, and reasonably priced. Comfortable/relaxing massaging chairs during a pedicure allows for maximum tranquility during the service. I will most definitely continue coming to Rose Nails for my pedicures!!🤍

I would give 0 stars, but I HAD to at least put one in order to leave my review!! My mother, my sisters and my nieces have all been patrons of this business for some time. Not anymore!!!! My mother got a gift certificate from one of my sisters for Christmas in 2019. The gift certificate said it was good for 6 months. In January 2020, my mother was diagnosed with melanoma and started treatment. Then, of course, in March 2020, the country went on lockdown for COVID-19. In May of 2020 nail salons were allowed to reopen with mask mandate and social distancing. My mother was advised by her Oncologist to remain in lockdown because of her weakened immune system. I called the salon to explain the situation, and asked if they would still honor the gift certificate past the 6 month expiration and they said Yes, just call when she got the all clear from her doctor. Well, my mother was given the Covid-19 vaccine recently and got the ok from her doctor to resume a somewhat normal life outside the home. When I called to make an appointment, I asked to speak with the manager so that I could explain things again. The gentleman that answered said that he was the manager so I proceeded to explain the situation again. He was rude and uncaring and said he would honor the gift certificate 50%. I was shocked at the cold, rude attitude!! They made money for doing absolutely nothing!!!! This establishment will NEVER see another dime from me, my family and anyone that I can reach!! Treat your customers well....we should not just be $$$ to you. We patronized your business for you to support your family and we returned after Covid-19 to help you recoup the losses you may have suffered due to the pandemic....the least you could do is have compassion for you clients!!!

My nail tech cut me multiple times and I had to correct her multiple times. Dont come here. Very poor quality. Kept trying to push gel polish on me. Im just ready to leave. Probably going to have to get them fixed at another shop.

I only gave them a 2 because they offered a drink. The pedicure was ok except I sat until the water was cold. The manicure was HORRIBLE but thats not even why I gave this rating. I went back the next day because she had only put top coat on part of my nail and the polish was peeling and changing color (yes, I said the next morning). They were RUDE and Dismissive and blamed me for the horrible look of my nails. The same lady redid them (although I asked for a different tech) and the same thing happened the next day. I didnt go back AND NEVER WILL!

Today they lost a valuable customer who has spent good money in their shop for years. Customer service includes serving your customers well during your business hours. I arrived at 6:45pm they close at 7:30. The shop was empty, 4 of the 6 pedicure chairs were empty. I was told were closed and we still have people waiting. Absolutely ridiculous!

Love the nail techs! theyre all super friendly and they make.you feel welcome. one big issue with me is that my nail beds are super small and every nail salon always ends up cutting my skin to the point where it makes me bleed, this particular nail salon has NOT cut me and theyre super careful! they take their time to make sure your nails are to your liking! what can I say, they have great customer service and they get it done exactly how I like it EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Walk in wait was extremely long. There were about 3 women getting pedicures with 3 workers waiting on them when i arrived. 2 men not working with anyone and 2 women who just finished up. While I was waiting a lady came in for a repair with no appointment and she was seated and the tech began working with her. This is the second time that I have experienced a long wait time. 45 minutes. Even as I was leaving I saw the 2 lady workers standing behind the beads just talking. The 1 guy was just sitting there. Crossed my name off the list and left.

Best pedicure Ive ever had. The nail spa is clean and attractive. The staff all are friendly and my pedicurist did a great job. I was even offered a complimentary beverage when I was seated. Will be going back there for sure.

I would like to say this was an early morning weekday visit make sure you have all the details to each their own the workers there were terrible point blank period! If i could I would give this place no stars. I feel like only a select few really get treated like they should. I went in for a visit almost 2 weeks ago. I arrived right when they open exactly 10 oclock am. I asked for Tammy after reading a previous review, thought this would be a nice place. This was my second time going there. I walked in stood up there for ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, Once I was approached she told me Tammy wasnt there as if she was not coming In that day so I asked for Johnny Tammys husband also mentioned in the review I read, She said he would be there that he was on his way, I waited almost and hour for him, when he arrived he told me I could come back later or wait that he had ONE client I said I would wait, Tammy came in about 2 mins after him and I asked if she could do them,that I was under the impression she wouldnt be there. He didnt say anything just went to the back but I could hear him telling her. I was just waiting and waiting. I really wanted to get my nails done that day, I had an important trip to attend. He actually saw 3 clients before me, done a full set, a manicure, and a pedicure, and one client that had even come after me and so did Tammy she helped 2 people that come after me . They were so disrespectful. I had already stayed to long and just didnt have time to go anywhere else. I stayed there for 3 hours and it wouldnt have been so bad if they were at lease nice. TO TOP IT OFF JOHNY WALKS BY ME laughing, talking about finely right u been here all day like it was ****** funny Ive had my dislikes about nail salons but this tops the *** cake. I will never go there again I would not recommend this place to anyone.

After living in Durham for a few months, I finally had a chance to get a wax (eyebrows) and nails. I went to this place because it was close to my apt. I was told that the gel nails would be best for my nails; so, I got them. I have gotten them before, and it never burned me. When I stuck my hands in the little ovens, within about 15 seconds, my fingers were throbbing in pain from the burn-almost to the point of tears (and I have a high pain tolerance). The nail guy told me that was normal and they would not burn again. When my eyebrows got waxed, I asked from them to remain thick, which they were not. The guy that did my nails evened out my eyebrows by drawing fake eyebrows from my natural eyebrow down to my eye. I will never go there again.

Love Rose Nails! I live in Wilmington but drive back to Durham at least twice a month and I get my nails done at R.N. instead of Wilmington. Great employees, beautiful job on nails...Id recommend it to anyone!!!

Great atmosphere. Could use a little cleaning. One of the pedicure chair was constantly leaking (lots)of water. Posing a slippery surface 4 customers.

Be careful they tell you what they are doing but don’t hive you a price and when you go pay what they did actually cost more

Had my nails done here. When I walked in everyon just stares at me. After an hour I finally get seen. The lady talks on her ones half the time. Everyone speaks in their native tongue. Just not a friendly atmosphere. The work was ok. My gel wrinkled a little bit.

Ever had a full set pried off your nail beds? I already have thin nails as is and the owner and spouse essentially ripped my nails off. I was told it takes too long for the nails to be soaked off. I winced in pain having my nails removed and informed the tech several times about my discomfort. It fell on deaf ears. At one point a few of the nail techs gathered around and watched while making jokes.( I turn on my Google translate anywhere English is not the primary language spoken.) I left the establishment with rough acrylic and my nails still hurt. They will never get another dime of mine.

This place has some of the best customer service Ive ever experienced. Although they get very busy they try to accommodate you as best they can.

Horrible customer service

Had a mani/pedi with gel polish on my hands. Polish has lifted on 2 nails already and its been only 4 days. My nail tech rushed my service when one of her regular customers came in unexpectedly. Sign says walk ins welcome so I expected good service through to completion. I am very disappointed.

I am extremely upset about my experience here today. I went in with my sister to get a full set each. I showed them a picture of what I wanted upon walking thru the door and they told me $45 for what I wanted. Once I sat and the lady started to shape my nails she told me it would be an additional 5 for that. However, she could not shape them and after complaining about the shape 3 times, the mrg had to come and fix them. That 5 was taken off. They gave me the biggest attitude bc they couldnt shape my nails the way I asked. Upon cashing out, they tried to add another 5 on for a design. When I refused to pay more than I was originally told they kicked me out of the store. Now for a powder gel full set is 30, and if the gel polish I got is an additional 5 and so is the design why did I pay 45 each for both my sister and I when it should have been 40. These people dont care about how happy their clients may be or not with the final product. They just want their money and will over charge when they can. I will never be returning.

I have been going to Johnny and Tammy for 8 years now. I get a alot of complements from random people about great my nails look. I love the way the look everytime I leave. On saturdays it is very busy but the wait is not bad if you are in a hurry go during the week.

Terrible, everytime I come here I get the same nails and they tell me different prices. Today I came in and the lady doing my nails did a terrible paint job because I refused to pay the price she gave me. AND WOULD NOT FIX THEM. I will be contacting the BBB.

Ive been a customer for many yrs. Im not an owner or relative...im not a paid reviewer...does this place get busy? Yes...if you dont have time to wait, smile and leave...im a regular and if I havent allotted time in my schedule then I leave, no biggie...the place Is busy for a reason.because they are good and fully staffed most days..its clean and they have always treated me friendly.. (Im black..and have no problems) another reviewer said they dont like black people.lol..smh...everyones experience is differrent..they have a sense of humor with their regs.. and a new customer ma u think were fighting or arguing when its all in fun.. Im pleased with my pedis and manis and dare not go anywhere else for my eyebrows..perhaps some got an inexperienced tech or was impatient..all good for me..water and wine is served...cant wait till they open this a.m.
