I’ve been to this salon several times and I’ve never been disappointed. This is their full set I got today, and if i I could’ve left a greater tip I would’ve. Don’t be afraid to show pictures of what you desire. No nail salon is perfect but this one is pretty close! ❤️

This salon was one of the worse I have ever attended. The manicurist rushed on my full set and the design is terrible. His skill was very limited, and when I asked him how long he’s been at this location, he said 5 years. I called back the next day to see if I could get my nails fixed, the “manager” claimed I would have to pay more money for a design and color change after spending $116 the day before. I will not be returning to this salon due to lack of professionalism, quality, and poor customer service.

This was my 1st time at this salon. Very professional neat and clean. They are very detail oriented and don’t rush through the job. Kyle did a wonderful job and I will be coming back for my manicure and pedicure. Thank you Kyle for your hard work and professionalism.

This is my second time visiting QD Nails and they have not disappointed yet. I have had Kevin both times and he is AWESOME!! He explained how dip powder works and how it is better for your nails. I think I have found my nail tech for the Raleigh/Durham area.

I really wanted to like this place given their price point is slightly lower than most in Morrisville/Cary area, but after 2 failed attempts with gel fill-in and a pedicure. I have to say never again.My first visit was with one of the ladies (cant remember her name), she was not the nicest person, and was not very detailed with my pedicure or gel fill-in. The fill-in was too thick and uneven.2nd go around was with Kevin (hes suppose to be one of the best, I beg to differ - he did work in attached picture. I should have taken pictures right after). I was scheduled for a fill in and pedicure, after he did my gel fill-in and I was not happy with it, I just told him I had to go and didnt have time to do my pedicure, cos I already knew it would be less than satisfactory and didnt feel like wasting any more money.The polish application was a hot mess, you could clearly see the polish in my cuticles and spots that had less polish. Detail was not a priority for him, he just wanted to get it done and move on to the next. Not once during the process did he ask if I was happy with the work he was doing. It was his way or no other. Both times I visited I felt like a headcount, nothing special/relaxing or memorable about the experience! I vote where my $$ are spent, definitely not at the establishment ever again.

I read so many reviews of this salon so I decided to give it a try for a full set, I decided to do the dip technique. I had a woman do it for me and they are horrible!!! Very lumpy, you can see where she glued the tips on and I have the dip color ALL over my fingers. I was so excited to find a place so close to work so I could go on my lunch break. All the reviews were so good so I’m really really disappointed.**UPDATE - Phillip fixed my nails today and they look sooooo much better, I will be back!

I told her my nails were burning while she was preparing my acrylic fill and i had to go wash my hands it stung so bad.. she then laughed at me and told me normally you dont wash your hands until after its down. and now my nail underneath has completely separated fro my skin. NOT EVER has this happened to in my life.

Kay did my pedi and it was great! She took her time and made sure my feet look good before I was sent to get my full set. I couldnt decide one one color so the lady(I wish I remembered her name) designed my nails very similar to a random pic I googled that allowed me to have both colors that matched my toes perfectly. I love getting my nails done here the staff go out of there way to make your experience with the nail salon a positive one, I think they are a little bit pricey but it is worth it I guess. I am just not use to spending so much money on a fill in and gel mood changing polish. For 2 fill-in and 2 gel mood changing polish we paid 60.00 . But then again I did live in Maryland lol. Thanks again for the beautiful nails.

Ive been to a few nail salon in my years,Q D Nail Salon is right at the top of my number one favorite nail salons. My nails are perfectly done everytime Ive been there . The nail technicians take there time, everyone is really friendly the color choices are great the designs are beautiful and unique its a great nail salon. My one issue I have is I think they are a little pricey. Other than that nothing else but good things. Thank you 😊

Honestly for what I paid for the upgraded lavender spa pedicure my toe nails were completely crooked. The massage was nice and smelled great, but I honestly had to fix the filing when I got home, almost every toenail was crooked and they didn’t cut my cuticles on my toes or fingers. A little disappointed especially with how much I tipped - but it’s my own fault for not looking before I left.

If you’ve ever gone to a nail salon asking for something you’ve seen on Instagram, you really are wasting your time unless you go to Kevin. He nailed exactly what I asked for. Creative, passionate about nails and easy to talk to.

I went to Q D Nails & Spa for a Dip Manicure and Basic Pedicure and was so impressed! This is the best nail salon experience Ive had and will 100% be back (no need to try any other nail salons). Phillips attention to detail was second to none and even though they were busy, I never felt like he was rushing. If youre looking for a new nail salon, this should be on your list!

Sometimes I have appointments and sometimes I dont and they accommodate me either way. Its never a long wait to get started whether it just be a manicure or a pedicure. The drinks are meh but its complimentary so I wont complain. It is conveniently located right by my job and I have been experimenting with my nails with Phillip and he is just the best!

Saturday April 20th 2019 was my first time visiting Q&D nails. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I found this salon on a random search and I will be returning! I got a fill in and a pedicure and I can’t stop looking at myself.. Phillip did an amazing job with my nails. This is my new spot! :) Very Satisfied!

KEVIN has been doing my nails for almost a decade! I always come in for an acrylic full set. His nail form is perfect and he makes them look so natural. My acrylics last up to 6 weeks sometimes & NO LIFTING! If you see a picture online of what you want, show Kevin and HE WILL DO IT! He can do anything you ask. From simple French tips, free-hand design, ombré, any nail shape you can think of (round, square, stiletto, coffin, long, short).He’s done my nails for years and i WILL NOT let anyone else touch them. I drive close to an hour to Durham just for him to do my nails. It’s well worth the drive and the money.I love you Kevin! Thank you for an amazing prom night, senior pics, baby shower, weddings, parties, night outs, etc. You’ve always come to my rescue and thanks for putting up with me being so picky. I love you!-Talia

I love this place! I havent gone anywhere else since Ive started getting my nails here done back in Dec. Im in the shop faithfully every 2 weeks. Chi and June have to be the nicest, most professional techs there (they are the only ones I work with). I definitely recommend this location for a great gel polish manicure!

I’m so lucky I found QD in just a few trys! I usually have Phillip and he’s always great! Always makes sure I like the shape and color, and with the dip powder my nails have been the longest/healthiest they’ve ever been! My only complaint is that I think they need more dip colors.

QD Nails is a high quality, yet affordable nail spa. I have had spa pedicure, gel nails, and SNS/Dip Powder services done here. Each technician is attentive, friendly, and talented. The shop is very clean. They take pride in doing great work. Never sloppy. I never feel rushed. They offer refreshments while you are being serviced. Their prices are very competitive with great quality service. I highly recommend.

Staff was very nice but gel manicure was all in the sides of my nails and didnt look very good. Called and they said to come in and they’d fix free of charge. Looks great the second time just wish it was this good the first.

Im very fussy about my manicures. Probably strike dread into the hearts of the operators who see me coming. I dont want my manicures to shout FRENCH!!!, but to whisper, (french). My favorite manicurist here, June, got it perfect the very first time. It usually takes several visits for a new operator to get it right. Shes also the only operator in almost 40 years of having my nails wrapped, who was willing to work with me to make the necessary transition to wrap less less painful. Their hours are great, walk ins are always accommodated, and the shop is clean and attractive. Another business whos won my referrals and loyalty.

Sns fans, go see Tyler. He was super gentle with the nails, even when he had to use the drill, didnt cut me once. He got the shape perfect, most places do the almond nail too round or dont pay much attention to the sides where the nail meets skin. He was really personable, will actually have a conversation with you. My nails arent bumpy, he really took his time to make sure they were smooth and even. Thanks for fitting me in so early!!

I have had mani and pedi here and they are all usually very nice. Theyre busy on weekends, but try not have you waiting for long. They offer free soda or water to customers. They offer a variety of pedicures, but the basic pedicure is good enough for a normal day as it still includes a massage, callus removal, and hot towel treatment. Ive also gotten my eyebrows waxed here before and they do a pretty good job. My only complaint is that there is not more variety of the nail colors. The selection they have is good, but Ive seen a wider selection other places.

First time visiting and itll be my last time. I have asked 2 different employees how to adjust the seat so it will stop massaging my behind. The first person came over and attempted to adjust but was unsuccessful. The 2nd employee said she didnt know how to stop it without even attempting to. Part of the pedicure experience to me is enjoying the chair. This is unacceptable to me. Each employee should be trained on how to adjust these darn chairs.

Clean and friendly environment. I like my nails and the service. I would like to see more nail polish color options.

New to the area, I went here since its close to my office & Kevin did my powder dip nails. I had no idea what powder nails were honestly, but Im so glad he showed me. They are making my nails finally grow after trying everything & KEVIN IS THE BEST follow his insta @kevin_ho_nails hes amazing and so so so sweet.

The last 3 times I have gotten a manicure here, the technicians dont polish down to the cuticle, so in about 2 days, my nails looks 2 weeks old. In this picture I just left the salon and my nails look jacked up. This is so frusterating and this happens every time I come here. The location is so convenient to my job/home that I keep giving them another chance to do a better job. After this last visit I promise myself that I will not come back.

This place is the worst when it comes to professionalism. I went in to get a gel fill-in (nails) and there was noone available at the time (I was a walk-in around noon) - very understandable...so I scheduled an appointment for a later time that day. I recieved a call back from the salon and was told to find somewhere else to get my nails done because they did not have anyone available to do my nails at that time that I scheduled the appointment for...WHAT-THE-WHAT!? WHO DOES THAT? So, needless to say, I will NEVER go back to that shop again and will NEVER recommend them to anyone else....AND this was my 3rd visit there....WOW!

I was here a while back and I was not happy. But some how my nail specialist came to work here who I been going to for years (Kevin) started working here and this is where I am every two weeks. His work speaks for him. He truly is a professional who cares about quality and you.

Me and my mom were looking online for a new salon to try out in the RTP area and we stumbled across QD. The pictures and reviews spoke volumes so we decided to give them a shot this afternoon. I am so glad we did! Kevin did my full set and it is honestly the best manicure I have gotten in my life! He gave me exactly what I was asking for and so much more! Worst rush job ever. First time for my girls who said they couldve done a better job. I was never asked what shape nail I wanted. The Polish used was streaky and had poor coverage. She never even suggested another color. Very unhappy, will not return, horrible prices.

My regular tech at Hollywood Nail and Spa off Alexander Dr was booked so I decided to visit QD Nail and Spa off Surles Court since it was close to my home and my daughter was harassing me to go for her nails today and it was truly the worst experience ever. The tech was rough and rushing I was thinking maybe it’s time for her to go. I wanted a gel manicure and got a hot mess. Instead of suggesting a different polish because she claimed it was runny, she tried to file my nails to death to get all of the polish from around my nail and off my cuticle. When I noticed I told her I don’t like this. I asked her to take it off and I will pay her for removing my 5 nails that had gel polish when I arrived. Ended up paying $19 for her dipping my hands in cold water which was the manicure part I guess. I am leaving with nails sore, still can see the remnants of polish, and the shortest nails I have ever seen. It’s my own fault for cheating on my tech. I will go to her tomorrow and feel better. So come on over to Hollywood Nail and Spa off Alexander Dr!To Owner Response:Technician should have suggested getting a new color when she noticed it was runny but instead she just filed and filed on my cuticle and around my nail and cutting away at my nail and cuticle to try to remove the excess polish that was all over the cuticle. I still have gel polish outlined on my cuticle. I refused to chose another color because she should not have let it get that far if she notice the polish was runny. I only checked it because the filing started to hurt and that’s when I noticed that there was an issue. So what’s the excuse for her rushing like she was in a race and she was gonna win a prize? I never give reviews ever but today I had to share this mess. It was my first time there and the last time. But I can say that the tech “Pang” I hope that’s spelled right, did a great job on my daughter’s nails, she absolutely loves them and she said she will return to have her continue to do her nails!!

Kevin is the best! My nails never break when I am in between fill ins, the polish doesnt chip and the prices are reasonable. Always meets and exceeds nail expectations.

Ive been to QD twice before and it was great. June is a nail wizard!! However, today I had a different nail technician than June and honestly had a terrible experience. I always get an acrylic fill, and today I was cut by the filer on every nail to the point of drawing blood. I was visibly upset and to the point of tears. Still was charged full price and was told I needed to tip in cash... Probably wont return.

They were very nice, did a nice job. Just passing thru area on business. Open Sundays now, 12-5, so staff was light but we werent in a hurry. Just relaxing.

I initially came here because I followed my trusty nail tech here after he left a previous location. I have not been disappointed in the least. The staff is accommodating and friendly. I religiously get a Mani (gel) and Pedi every two weeks and have yet to have a bad experience. I work on my feet for 12 hours+ a day and they need to be well taken care of. They are at QD Nail Spa. Its a clean and friendly environment and often very busy so try to book an appointment in advance. The staff never greets me without a smile and Im always offered a beverage. Ive seen the managers (who are nail techs as well) walk around to check on the customers being worked on to see if anything is needed. Ive seen first hand they are good at communicating whether or not there will be a long wait time for a walk-in. On occasion I bring my 10 year old daughter with me and she loves the special kids Pedi chairs they have! The nail techs are wonderful with children and she always feels special when she comes. My feet always look and feel pretty post a pedicure and I ALWAYS receive compliments on my nails at work! The owners are very good at assessing the skill level of their staff. So you may get someone different doing your pedicure vs manicure. Which I would rather than being forced to stick with one individual who may have a stronger skill set in one area over another. The owners and nail techs really do well in creating an environment where customers feel comfortable enough to freely engage in conversation all the time. This place is my treat for my feet! I drive 40 minutes to come here just because its my happy place! I highly recommend! Jackie

I came to this location on a lunch break. Lady said the wait would be 5 minutes. I waited....and then waited. A woman who had been serviced left, and then the lady said Can you wait 7 more minutes, we are really busy. Huh??? :/What I dont understand is there were 3 customers and more than 3 employees for them to be so called busy. I will never return!

They were very pleasant and the basic pedicure was better than I expected. The massage chairs send to be in need of an upgrade.
