Kudos to the proprietors of this location for 1) fooling the members into paying for a platinum membership for this location and 2) somehow convincing corporate that this is a platinum location. I travel here regularly for business and today was the first day I was told I didnt have the membership level needed to go here. This location is not even in the same universe as the Lifetimes in my home city that arent considered Platinum. Its an older building. As a result, the layout is awful. The weight area is split into two separate areas of the building completely away from eachother because they cant fit it all in the same space. Even with those two spaces, they dont have nearly the amount of equipment that other Lifetimes have. The whole place feels like a dungeon because all of the different areas are separated by walls and the only space with a high ceiling is the basketball court. A couple weeks ago when I came, they didnt even have the locker rooms open because they were doing renovations. The explanation I received was that its a Platinum because 1) They are renovating and 2) Because its in Cherry Creek. How can you be IN THE MIDDLE of major renovations and be considered the highest level Lifetime? Just because of the location? The Lifetimes I go to are in much more affluent areas than Cherry Creek in a much larger Metro than Denver. Theyre way nicer and newer. But somehow this one is a Platinum.Lifetime corporate should be looking at this.

This is a fantastic place to work out. The front desk is always kind and helpful. There are so many activities and classes.A big shout out to Alex and his Alpha strength classes. After three months 2-3 times/ week, my body has transformed as I have lost weight and gained muscle mass. Alex has always been there with encouraging words, challenging and varied workouts, and helpful suggestions customized to my abilities. The workouts are tough but really fun, especially the partner Sunday Throwdowns! Class members are super supportive no matter your skills or abilities. As a master swimmer, the pool is awesome. Even during the pandemic, the pool was open and there was no need for lap swim reservations. People are kind when asked to share lanes.

Dont sign a contract with this company. They will continue billing you after you have canceled your membership. They like to play games with billing. If you suspend your membership they will continue to bill you 15 per a month. Read the fine print not worth the extra money for a gym membership.

Simply the best. I think I’ve probably been to every “nice” gym in denver and this one is just so special. The people who work here make you feel important and comfortable. It’s always spotless, equipment is always put away correctly, and so MUCH equipment available. Everything you could ever want. A track, huge weight area, a secluded quiet room for stretching, racquetball quarts, indoor outdoor pools, hot tub, yoga, top notch spin instructors. And I could go on. The the best thing? The absolute top attribute of this gym is the Tuesday/Thursday morning alpha fitness classes with Tyler. Best trainer I’ve ever seen. So passionate, and every single workout pushes me beyond my limits in a creative and fresh way. All the other attendees are regular to the class because it really is transformative. I drive 35 min to get here and pass even another lifetime location to come to class.Yes the price isn’t the lowest in town. But it’s so worth it.

The Life Time Fitness in Cherry Creek is struggling with identity. The club promotes (and charges) as a luxury experience for the paying member. However, in reality, the club is far from it. In fact, it feels more like a YMCA Summer Camp with adults sprinkled in.I was excited to join the club to take advantage of the outdoor pool. During my initial visit, there were kids (Swim team and lessons) EVERYWHERE. I decided to not join. However, I was sold by the staff that the kids will be inside and the outdoor pool is reserved for paying members. Reluctantly, I joined. After two months of enjoying lap swimming outdoors, May 15th hits. Then, the kids swim team moves outside (now that its warm) and occupies 4 (of the 6 lanes) lanes M-F, 3pm-7pm!Ive seen paying members drive an hour in traffic only to wait for hours for a lane to open up. Ive seen paying adult members swim in the adjacent kids pool to attempt to get laps in.I brought this issue up to management, asking that the kids be focused on the indoor pool, but was told during the summer, adult members get two lanes outside and the option to swim inside. In short, as a paying member (almost $200 per month) you are at the bottom of the pecking order when it comes to availability and hospitality. The club is clearly struggling for money hence why they are so focused on the kids aquatics. In reality, the classes/teams are so overbooked (6-8 kids per lane), the kids are getting a terrible experience and barely able to swim. This club is not luxurious or adult friendly and falls short of its goal of being a kids swimming facility. There are 4 clubs within 4 miles that offer an indoor pool at a fraction of the cost.

Called and didn’t check online but expected the hours to be the same so I came in at 9 expecting to stay till 11 when I got there I asked the girl what time they closed. She then let me know 9 pm I wanted to check out everything so I spent about ten minutes at each area and headed to the changing rooms. The cleaning lady rudely ask me if I knew what hour it was and let me know I couldn’t take a shower which I wasn’t planing on doing in the first place. Then I went to the counter just to let the front desk know that they still had the incorrect hours on the phone recording so they could change them. Then she told me that the hours are now 9pm which she knew I already knew I explained to her that I didn’t know that before coming and I wanted to go just look at everything before I left that night then she tried to tell me I wasn’t paying for that this gym. I pay 269 a month to go to this gym and she was like well no I don’t think you do.wow very rude service no very happy with my first impression

Im cancelling my membership due to being misled. They ensure you keep getting charged monthly, but dont ensure to get you your official membership card. The only worker that consistently speaks to you at any location is the one who scans your card, which means they dont care much. The fees are over priced for the service you get. My advice is stay away from any life time gym to avoid being taken for granted

My neck gets stiff w/ lack of movement & pain going up my head & down to my trapezoid & shoulders... it was so nice to go to a place where people wear a maskIs so clean& so healthy for the muscles. I could only be a little bit so got the Zauna, steam room & whirl pool..., which did amazing “massage” & gave mussels more mobility & took away the scrutiating pain . No need to take Advil & medicine. These waters & heat work amazingly. So thankful! So soothing & with front desk staff so nice... no stress... just kind attitudes. Way to go Denver LT in Cherry Creek. I have been a lifetime member for a long time and after moving and going to this location i am very disappointed. It looks like the building was converted from a warehouse to a gym with a horrible layout. There is an open basketball court in the middle that feels very similar to a college rec center, and they even have some weights tucked away in weight areas separated from the other weight equipment making it difficult to get to. I will most likely be cancelling my membership, it might be acceptable if this was not a diamond club as well with the hefty price tag for mediocre workout experiences.

Not at all what would be considered Diamond Level membership. Of all the Colorado locations, this one is has the fewest equipment selection in the oldest building with the cheapest looking amenities. The minimal equipment is outdated and lower quality with the total free weight area about 1/3 the normal size compared to other locations. It’s often overcrowded so expect to be working out on top of others or waiting for equipment. The locker room isn’t any better as it’s crammed and only has 6 sinks. The family locker room literally has a wooden closet door at the entrance and is roughly the size of a closet with a single sink. Also the Life Cafe is never open, even during peak hours. The standard gold level locations surpass the quality here and the Flatirons location is by far the best in the state. Youre paying for Cherry Creek yet its located in Glendale about a mile from the actual Cherry Creek neighborhood. Definitely not worth the price tag. Pay for the Gold membership and stick to the other locations.

In general, I love this club, especially the class diversity and the wonderful instructors. There is one instructor, however, that oversteps her role as instructor and since this particular class (bar bell, similar to the old body pump) is popular and recently has had people on the waiting list, she is managing who gets in. She gave my spot away twice in a week because I wasnt there 5 min before the class was scheduled to start (was checking in 2 and 3 min before the class started at the reception both times, as the log indicates). But alas, she gave my spot away both times. Because she so decided. She even canceled one of my reservations one time. In all truth I dont even like her class, but unfortunately, both times I chose to take it because there wasnt another class offered at that time. Too bad, not a pleasant experience with a club I otherwise like and have been a member long before this instructor was there. Will never take her class again!

Disappointed- There is a state wide mask mandate and Lifetime Cherry Creek is failing at requiring members to wear masks or wear them correctly. Many with no masks. Many with the masks over just their chin or on their neck for the majority of their workout.Staff often not present in workout area to enforce mask wearing or when they are there they dont. When you have a pool you have a lifeguard to keep people safe. Right now we are dealing with a serious pandemic. Staff must be present in the workout areas and must enforce safety with social distancing and mask wearing. It is a state mandate. Many Denver physicians work out at this gym and are very angry and discouraged. LTCC needs to step up their attentiveness now. This would have never been an issue when it was Cherry Creek Athletic Club. Its time to care for your members and lead by example. Please Do Better

My wife and I have been members for 1 year. As young professionals, the changes to the club with lifetimes takeover have been nice! The heart and soul remains albeit with new equipment, better hours of operation, new finishes, new technology, and changes to class schedules. It wont be for everyone who is resistant to change, which I understand, but Im not complaining... other than I wish it were more affordable. But cant have my cake and eat it too.

I’m an out of town business traveler. Went to this location as it identifies itself as a Diamond level. The moment I walked into the locker rooms it was filthy, the setup is very confusing, there’s not a lot of free weights, etc. I’ve been a Life Time member for sometime and this location did not in the slightest represent any other club I have been to, let alone to claim A higher status. I drove 30 min to get there and walked out the door in less than 10min. If you’re a traveler / lifetime member like me your better off at your Hotel weight room rather than this location.

Since Lifetime took over our gym, everything is perfectly matched --fancy fake off-gassing succulents, employees dressed in suits at the front desk (because you want to feel like youre walking into an attorneys office), huge video screens pushing sales. Nearly every single one of the great instructors have quit. We even have bad coffee now, so forget ever grabbing any on the way out of your new luxury gym.No, what happed here is obvious value engineering for corporate profit while downgrading all aspects of the gym hoping that members wont notice. Might temporarily work for those who have never belonged to a real gym and have no reference for anything decent. Def not good for your health.Join if youre up for more pollution for your soul.

It now looks cheap, generic and is no longer good for my health. I anyone would like to brainstorm with me about finding a alternative club, please post your comments here.

This was a great gym when it was the Cherry Creek Athletic Club. Now lifetime came in and corporatized everything and made the teachers change their style of classes and they are so cheap they won’t cover the pool at night due to staffing so the outdoor pool that was once perfect is now either an icicle or a hot tub, so disappointing. New staff is rude and not helpful. I know you have to be patient with change but I think I’ll find somewhere else to go now :(

I’ve been to my fair share of Lifetime clubs and this is the worst by far. I understand it’s going to take some time to get the gym changed up after taking over cherry creek athletic club, but right now this club is not worth the cost whatsoever. The weight room has an overwhelming smell of sewage every single day, women are naked in the jacuzzi, the cafe is subpar & typically not even open, and everything is super spread apart throughout the gym. Some of the machines are old & need to be replaced. And there’s also just a lack of certain workout equipment. I still come here but I am considering switching gyms until lifetime raises the bar, if they ever do. I have no idea how this is considered a diamond standard.
