The community is great. The maintenance people are super friendly. I personally dont use the laundry room here because my loads are fairly large but conveniently there is a laundromat nearby. I would give them 5 stars. My only problem. I have reached out to the office many times about our alarm system and nothing has been done.

No water on average one day a week. No hot water very often. Rotating office staff. Sorry I dont really know about that, its my first week. Our $1064/month lease often cost us $1400/month in fees. Trash fees go up while trash littering the apartment complex piles up. This place stinks, for $1400/month you can find a nicer place in the aurora area.

Originally it was a great place to live, though we havent had hot water in about 3 months. Half the laundry appliances are out of order. We are about to file a complaint with Department of human services. No resolution has been made and I doubt it will. The leasing staff is great.

I lived at this place for just about two years, and the only reason I did was out of necessity, not due to desire to stay there. I moved out in December of 2020. I paid for an alarm system that never worked the entire time I was there. My car was broken into three times (luckily nothing valuable was in there), the amount of times my water was off or there was no hot water was extremely concerning, and I even had foundation issues where flood water would constantly end up under our floor, causing black mold and even plants to grow under the carpet. The only way I got a hold of anyone from the office was if I called the emergency maintenance line. I also had no hot water for a month and a half. In addition, when the hot water is out, there is no heat in the apartment. There was several times where we had no heat in the middle of winter in sub freezing temperatures. Also, there is a switch that has to be switched for A/C and heat, which means, whether it is hot or freezing, if we’re not at the date they’ve set to turn one of those on, you’re without it. We didn’t get A/C in our apartment last year until the second week of June. Our mail room was also broken into and everything was stolen and there was no communication at all. The only reason I knew about it is because I just so happened to be in the mail room at the same time as the mail man and he informed me. This place was unresponsive, everything was always broken, and the only place they seemed to invest was on useless common area things that are never used. The only redeeming quality was that maintenance were for the most part polite except for a few occasions. This place truly sucks, and also plan to pay about $300 more than what the posted rent is due to the multitude of fees that are attached. Oh, the basketball court they advertise is a joke by the way. It’s an old racquet ball court in a sound proof room that isn’t wide enough and doesn’t have the right surface for a proper court.

Horrible place!!! Don’t move here!!! Air conditioning unit doesn’t work and was left without running water for 8 hours!!! It was 82 degrees in my apartment and I had 3 electric fans running. They refused to send maintenance to fix because I was on a long waiting list. REFUSED to reimburse me for the $500 air conditioning unit I had to purchase so my pet and I don’t die of a heat stroke.I have a long list of other issues and have only lived here 6 months. Filed a complaint with Denver Public Health today and will be pursuing legal action.

Consistent water shut offs. It is June and I still have no A/C, they wait until weeks or months into the new season to switch from heat to A/C and vice versa citing boiler inspections as the reason every year, as though the concept of seasons is difficult to understand and the changes arent predictable.Currently: Water shut off was supposed to be 8PM-Midnight, it is now 1:30pm the following day with no water and office staff says they have no idea when it will be back on. Thanks for the reassurance, it really lets me know that the issue is being handled appropriately.I have had water leak from the walls, from the ceiling, etc. The ceiling in the bathroom was holding water from a leak from above. Maintenance claimed to replace it, but the same water marks were still present and it was a battle to get them to actually replace it.Dont rent here, you can find a better place.

Dear anyone considering this place,I wish I could be more specific in what I’m about to say, but in fear of having this comeback to be I will be brief but COMPLETELY honest.Do not move here. I hate to say it but you will regret it. There are many things wrong with this place and unfortunately nothing seems to be fixed. No running water, constant shut offs, leaking ceilings, and their “emergency” maintenance person lives over an hour away. I do believe some serious work needs to be done on behalf of the current residents before more people are brought in to be disappointed. I hope this helps and I hope this doesn’t comeback to me negatively.

I wrote a 5 star review when I first moved in but now....STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! The leasing agents here are awesome and very kind, and usually the maintenance team comes quickly. But recently it has been very difficult living here comfortably. I have not had hot water in over 2 weeks and my neighbor has not had hot water for months. The complex has not offered to fix this issue at all. Their solution to this issue is to just boil hot water or shower in their extra empty apartment. This is absolutely ridiculous. If you want an accommodating and comfortable place to live, definitely look elsewhere.

Problems with hot water, heating or using air conditioning are a problem. Management ignores the messages to resolve the situation. Only excuses The laundry area is always dirty, several of the machines do not work or do not dry the clothes, even the surroundings are dirty. Im going to start this review off by saying I havent lived here very long (around a month and a half). I had some minor issues moving in, but nothing too major. The reviews lead me to believe I might be moving into some terrible place but honestly, its fairly nice, especially for the money. The best thing about living here so far has been the office staff. Theyve been super attentive to my needs and have been really easy to work with. Specifically had a great experience working with Kelsey. While my experience might change (and if it does, Ill update the review) honestly, would recommend it.

I have had nothing but issues since moving in and do not have enough time to begin detailing everything thats wrong with these apartments, but Im going to try.I drove across the country for this move. I called MULTIPLE times, including the day before I was arriving in Denver, to confirm that everything would be set for me to move in on 2/8. When I call the day of, they told me they dont do move-ins on Sunday and that I would have to wait until the next day to move in. Obviously that wouldnt work for me because I had a car full of stuff and had just driven 15 hours. They were able to find someone to work and let me in but she complained about how much she hated being a leasing agent the entire time and it took over and hour and a half to get me keys to my unit. The first week I lived here, someone broke into my car and stole dressers I had bought. When I asked the leasing office if they had cameras around the property, they looked at me like I was crazy and didnt even have an ounce of empathy towards my situation. Horrible people skills.I read another review here and I ALSO found feces in one of the washing machines. The washers and dryers are ALWAYS broken and doing laundry is insanely difficult and time-consuming. All the dryers are broken in the smaller laundry room - please fix them. I also think there are people living in the laundry room at night (there are always random clothes and food and items lying around) and the doors to the laundry room have been broken for months (only recently fixed).Ive had multiple packages stolen from the package room. The package room door is broken and anyone can get in to take whatever they would like. There was a water leak from the unit above us, and I called three times to report the issue but never got help with it.We had a hornet problem for five months that only stopped when the weather got cold. I got stung. The property manager was empathetic this time but ultimately they NEVER fixed the problem. Pest control and maintenance kept coming and saying its fixed now and every day like 10 hornets would get into our apartment.Constant water shut off from 9-5; I work from home, there is a pandemic happening, and I cant deal with these incessant water shut offs. The problems are never fixed. When I ask why, Loft9 has no answer.I have not once taken a shower where the temperature has stayed consistent (it goes from ICE cold to SCALDING hot in .2 seconds) and maintenance didnt care/couldnt do anything about that, and they basically told me I was imagining it. If you read through other reviews, Im not imagining it. We never get hot water at night either - I always do dishes after dinner in freezing cold water.Staff is decent (some great people, some people who do not care at all) but will NEVER return your calls - there isnt much they can do when the property is literally falling apart. The amount of times Ive considered breaking my lease is insane. I want to get out of here so bad and have wasted so much money. I cant wait to NOT renew here.

I am going to be real honest with my review. I have lived here for about 9 months now and things were fine at the beginning except the hornet issues. The hornet issues werent resolved with the exterminator, I had to patch holes inside my apartment myself due to the fact that hornets were inside of the walls. I had to invest in a hornet trap in order to help with the issue, but the only resolution was that the cold weather drove them out. I thought that would have been the final issue but nope. My car was then stolen from the complex, I hope that in the future this complex invests in some cameras to monitor the parking lots at least. I invested in my own camera to monitor my new vehicle. Lastly, I have not had hot water since March 17th and it is now April 30th. I have been having to drive to Montbello everyday after work to take a hot shower and to actually be clean. I basically do not live in the apartment anymore because of the tedious back and forth driving I have to do to access hot water. I have left voicemails with the office numerous of times. I consider the living conditions here to be inhabitable. I have also not been reached out to for compensation of any sort. When I first moved in the water was not working and I was offered the choice to use a vacant apartment to shower in. I know I would at least appreciate a manager or employee reaching out to me personally just to check on me being the tenant while they have had the water off for over a month and ask if there is anything that I need. This place has honestly turned me off to the idea of ever living in an apartment here in aurora.

The drywall is not the strongest as our living room blinds fell three times before I told them not to replace them and I used curtains and hoped for the best. The ceiling in the bathroom fell due to the unit above being flooded from a break in as the unit was vacant. This was repair in a relatively decent time frame... had to come back a few times to repair the repairs because the spackle was not the best quality. The air conditioner was GARBAGE until they recently (August-ish 2020) replaced them... please note I moved in October 2018... this also includes the heater.. Speaking of heat... the lowest temperature day of 2020 and really week at that point, sometime in September/October 2020 and i was met with ZERO heat for numerous days with a pup that was shivering under the blankets as it reached 50 degrees in my apartment.. no offer of a space heater or additional services to combat the temperature in my apartment. I have LOADS of emails regarding the water. All accounts and complaints of water in these reviews is accurate and true. I went multiple days (9AM-5PM) without water, blaming Denver Water for the need to fix and line breaks. I went THREE days without hot water (habitability law breach) and no email of apology or resources to give residents during this upset. There were many habitability breaches in this location and the three days without hot water (during October 2020) really is what broke the straw on the camels back. I was set to renew my lease in November 2020 and signed it because the price of these apartments is unbeatable, but i could not bare to have a lack of water (hot or cold) and the decrease in maintenance staff help or lack of accountability from the management company.. I gave my notice in 30 days versus 60 days and had to contact the management company directly to remove my fine for a lack of notice after threatening with contacting the BBB and getting a lawyer involved. I did extensive research of habitability laws in Colorado and tenant rights and was fully prepared to bring in legal action, but they kindly told me that I would not have to pay this fine.... Then I received my final statement where the fee was on there along with multiple other fines and fees I had questions about.. Never heard anything back. I reached out to the management company directly via phone and email as well as the property manager/assistant manager.I happily moved to the apartment complex next door that is gated and to say I am much more happy and pleased would be an understatement. For a measly $200/month after utilities, its so worth it.

I recommend you do not move here. Just dont do it. I will not renew my lease again. I did once and am sorry about it.THEY SENT ME A RENEWAL OFFER RAISING MY RENT.READ ON...Believe the reviews about water shut offs. My water has been shut off many times. I would say that on AVERAGE the water is shut off here at Loft 9 3 or 4 times a month. You wont have your own water heater. There seems to be just one on the whole property. One portion of the property had no Hot Water for a month or more (units 315-424.) Not sure exactly how long. My Hot Water was off for 5 days in 2020, a Monday thru a Friday. Management made no effort to care for those residents (not the whole property this time) who had no hot water for 5 days, meaning, no offer to reduce the rent for that month. Management commented that this is what happens with old buildings (In other words, Deal with it David.). I get that. Management cant see that the pipe is about to break in the wall or what ever. And that is beside the point. We have a Contract. We didnt move here to deal with the breaking pipes. Loft 9 is not able to maintain their obligation in the lease to provide a habitable apartment.LOFT9 MNGMNT (ECHELON PROPERTY GROUP), WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO COMPENSATE YOUR RESIDENTS FOR YOUR FAILURE TO MAINTAIN HABITABLE LIVING CONDITIONS?Here is another question- Do you know what the maximum temperature our domestic hot water is allowed be? I know that the Colorado Real Estate Commission is required to respond if they receive a complaint in writing. Loft 9 Management (Echelon Property Group) wont hesitate to send financially threatening correspondence to residents experiencing some financial hardship. No compassion. No offer to help. And, no, I am not behind on my rent, but was late by a day once. It took one day for Loft 9 to send me a nasty letter. They are only concerned with one side of the lease agreement. This is true. The manager in charge here on site said she has no authority to help in this regard and passed the buck up to her supervisor, who is elsewhere. On site staff appears to be here to put out fires, not to really help.Heat and air conditioningManagement controls when I can turn on my heat or air conditioner. You wont be in control of your heat or air conditioner. I live on the top floor, where it gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I went through a month of cold weather in the fall before they allowed me to turn on my heat. And you will have hot days with no air conditioning. Is this 1947? They wont tell you this prior to move in, however.Yes, the laundry rooms are very dirty. Some machines dont work and others are gross and still work.I believe there are two mailrooms at this community. The one I use is connected to leasing office. These mailboxes are falling apart. I have walked into the office on numerous occasions to report that my mailbox doesnt lock properly. After a third time talking with Loft 9 about my mailbox, and my patience waning a bit, a leasing agent whom I havent seen in a while, Crystal, told me the mailboxes were to be replaced soon. They are still there over two years later. At one point, near the 2018 midterm election cycle, my and others mail was stolen from this mailroom. I hadnt visited my mailbox in several days. When I eventually came in to retrieve my mail, I found my mailbox empty when I should have had some mail I was expecting, including my mail-in ballot. The office was still open, so I walked in and asked why my mailbox was empty, not really expecting anything nefarious. The office worker (I dont remember who she was) replied that many mailboxes had their mail stolen a few days ago. A few days ago! This is a felony. I was immediately alarmed, relatively speaking. I asked when was Loft 9 was planning on telling me that my mail was stolen. She just looked at me and spoke words that had nothing to do with answering my question. They didnt notify anyone. And the community rules are not enforced...I can go on, but I have reached my character limit.

Dont move into this place. The first thing you need to know is that it is corrupt. They send the maintenance guys to shake down the residents when a resident voices a complaint. Also they show favoritism to the residents that have lived here the longest. The management operates this place like its a barrio in brazil with rampant drug addicts living here and doing whatever they want. The management foments a dangerous environment and supports violence against others. I am just getting started with my campaign to bring awareness to the incendiary culture and climate here. I will be going to the media on 9 news soon. What happens in the dark will soon come into the light.

Through this last year the leasing office employees have been absolutely wonderful, especially Kelsey! They have helped me tremendously while being unemployed due to Covid. They have helped me KEEP my apartment by way of rental assistance (DOLA.) If you are polite, even when youre stressed about an issue, the leasing agents and managers WILL treat you with the same respect. However, if you go in guns blazing and acting rude, they may not be so inclined to show that respect, just as you would if someone came into your work and caught attitude with you. They are human and deserve to be treated with respect, as they are only doing their jobs and they arent miracle workers- there are some things they just cannot fix, and Im not implying that they will inherently be rude if you are upset. Im only trying to put it in perspective. Like they say, You catch more flys with honey than vinegar. There are of course some things, usually out of the control of the staff, that go wrong: water shut offs, peoples bad behavior, and problems with the buildings because of the age of the complex. A lot of the negative reviews on here are from the previous management and owners. I have lived here since October 2015 and at first, yes, it was terrible. But through the 5 years Ive lived here the property management and maintenance have exponentially improved. No apartment complex will be perfect, but for the price, size (I have an 800 sq ft one bedroom with a wood burning fireplace and patio for under $1100) and proximity to the major freeways, you cant find much better deal. Also, for what its worth, I have yet to have any issues with people breaking o my car or any other type of crime. (Knock on wood, lol)

Ive never in my life lived in a complex like this, let alone just living like this. Water is always shutoff off which inconveniences a lot of things ppl usually dont think of. Heat-A/C switch over has been an issue as well as Hornets and ants in the apartment in warmer seasons. Those were the most troublesome issues. I wish I wouldve took heed to reviews even if it wasnt the fault of the agency. Zero to this complex.

I have had nothing but HVAC issues since I moved in 7 months ago in July. When I got there the AC was completely broken and it was over 80 degrees in the apartment. When I turned in my check in sheet I left the office know. I was not advised or told how to submit a maintenance request. I returned to my home state to finish my job there and returned at the end of August to find the AC still broken. Despite speaking face to face with someone in the office about the issue, no one came to fix it while I was gone. I submitted a request online and it still took nearly two weeks for them to send someone. One day I was so hot I went into the mountains and sat in a creek just to cool off. When they finally came to look at it they told me an outside contractor would have to come in, is I had to wait another week. When he did he had to drill a wire from the outside wall to my AC unit, and instead of putting the wire in the wall he put a plastic tubing around it and it just hangs on the wall. But the AC worked. Here homes September with an early snow storm and it’s 10 degrees outside. My heat doesn’t work! Lowest I saw was 52 in my apartment and I was freezing. I emailed and called the office multiple times, and while the people there were very nice, the process still took a week and the same guy came several times and told me three different issues and timelines with it because he clearly didn’t know what was wrong. and they didn’t fix it correctly because they made the baseboard heaters run 24/7!! So I have to run both my AC and that to keep a livable temperature. Now, at midnight, my AC is leaking water down the wall!In addition to HVAC issues, I had yellow jackets entering the apartment until September and had to kill multiple every day. They shut the water off with barely a days notice in advance, sometimes for the entire day. It’s impossible to shower without the water going from freezing to burning every other second. The other tenants and the road are very loud. Laundry room is gross. Sketchy vehicles parked in the front lot sometimes including a van with broken windows that was there for three weeks without moving. My front door has a giant gap between the frame and the door which lets in cold air and doesn’t feel safe.Don’t live here, it’s an old building and instead of properly renovating it they put pretty band aids on everything. Run! I can’t wait for my lease to end.

I am having such a difficult time with this property and i wish i had taken the reviews more seriously before i moved in. we’ve been renting since winter 2020 and i should have known something was off when my move in day came (i had driven across the country and called the day prior to make sure i could still move in as scheduled) and they had a temp working the office who didn’t have keys for me and had no record of my lease (this temp also complained about her job and asked me if i knew anyone who was hiring). when we moved in, splatters of paint were all over the floor and the floor had some damage/warping in the kitchen - i wasn’t expecting this since the unit was recently renovated and we were the first people to live there. i have not been able to take a hot shower since i moved in, as the temperature fluctuates between burning hot and ice cold with no warning - i put in two maintenance requests about this and had maintenance workers tell me that there was no problem and the shower was fine - clearly it’s not fine, and i can see other reviews here where people are experiencing the same issue. i then put in a request to have our AC looked at, because it was only blowing hot air, and was told that no one could look at it until memorial day because that’s when they turn the units on - okay, sure. i put in the request after memorial day and three maintenance workers came to our apartment and were surprised to see that everything was wired incorrectly and nothing was hooked up. they are constantly having the water shut off on the property and say they’re going to fix it soon - but next tuesday the water is going to be off from 9 am to 5 pm. that’s a whole work day of no running water. more recently, wasps have also been burrowing into our door frame and making their way into the apartment. my car was also broken into the second week we lived here and i wanted to report it to the staff - which i did, and i understand they can’t do anything, but they were entirely unsympathetic and tired to blame me for it/just asked ‘well what do you want us to do?’ when i asked if the property had cameras. the laundry room closest to our apartment is the smaller one, and i think homeless people are living there - there’s always clothes and belongings on the floor and the locks are always broken. not only are the laundry machines constantly broken, today i went to do laundry and found HUMAN FECES in the machine closest to the door (which is what compelled me to finally write this review). i am counting down the days until our lease ends so we can get out of here and honestly thinking about just breaking the lease and getting it over with. please don’t rent here.

I was told oh thatll be fine. Just make sure she closes the bedroom door.Guess what happened today? He kicked her out and she had to use 4 hours of PTO for no reason.I probably shouldnt have expected anything different from a place that has terrible communication skills. Water and heat are shut off randomly. We get an email blast maybe half the time. We were never notified of the laundry facilities being closed until we went to do our laundry and called the front office. Mail, on the other hand, is becoming an issue. I hope we can get a key-only mail room on our end, as the other mail room has become. One thing I have to mention is, the grounds upkeep is suffering. When Albert was doing the job with previous management, he was out every day picking up trash. Now this happens very irregularly. I loved the layout, brick accents, yard space (over 200sq ft in front and back), mountain view, tall concrete ceilings, and all the classic 60s architectural components (except for thin interior walls with no studs). For the price ($1,445 after amenity fees), the space is unbeatable for the Denver area. The location is convenient, as it sits between Parker Rd, Hampden/Havana, and I225. The Kennedy parks, Cherry Creek Trail, and golf course make for great nearby outdoor activities. The downside is the surrounding area; there are homeless camps and high crime rate (lots of vehicle break-ins and hit-n-runs). The surrounding areas are run down and poorly maintained, with abandoned vehicles and garbage everywhere, wland a lot of domestic disputes. The buildings are over 60 years old, and therefore a lot of maintenance work occurs around the property to update the old fittings, piping, HVAC, and other things one would expect in older buildings. But luckily, the Loft9 maintenance crew are awesome; every request I made was handled promptly and with quality work. There are always pros and cons about multifamily residences. I think the pros outweighed the cons for Loft9. Once the infrastructure is repaired and the surrounding area improves in condition, this will be an absolute prime spot to live. It transformed a lot in the right direction during my time there, so Im sure it will continue to get better.

I am going to start by saying that finding an apartment that is a reasonable price around Denver is near impossible. I was happy to have came across One Dartmouth Place for the fact it was affordable but still classy. From the moment I walked into the leasing office I was greeted by Stephanie who was relatively new, but still managed to be polite, knowledgeable and help in anyway she could. I told her what I was looking for in a unit and she made sure my needs were met. A few weeks before move-in I got a call saying the apartment we were originally going to move into was not going to be ready. With that being said, they had options ready for me to choose from. The leasing staff personally went to each unit I was interested in and took photos to make sure it was what I wanted/expected. I have worked with almost everyone in the office and Stephanie, Krystal, May, & Shanna have been WONDERFUL. Each time I need something or have a question, no matter how busy they are, they take the time to make sure my needs are met in a timely manner. The management does a good job at notifying when an issue arises on the grounds that may impact the residents. I am a newer resident but overall my experience so far as been nothing but fantastic!

Horrible communication, I’m in the process of moving and put an application in here Over a month ago now and got denied. When I applied I put in a $200 deposit and expected to get refunded the same way I payed because no where in their clause did they say if you get denied you will get refunded a check and then once I was told I was issued a check I was told 7-14 business days, like I said before it’s been a month so I called to check today because I’m moving Monday and she said did they tell you it usually takes 30 days, no they didn’t. And then she says they MAILED IT OUT TODAY A MONTH LATER!!!! That’s playing with peoples money and I don’t support any complex doing that. I wouldn’t even apply it’s not worth it. Your staff should be on the same page and it’s really sus that it was mailed the day I called.

The hot water is not consistent. The residents have to pay for the construction disposal. Every year there is a new charge that has to be paid and the rent keeps increasing, but many of the issues are never resolved. I have lived hear since 2013 an the drainage at the corner of my building still has not been fixed (and this is not the only drainage issue). So when the snow melts during the day there is a great big pool of water that freezes overnight and since the dont shovel or salt the sidewalk until after the office opens I see people falling all of time. During the summer when there are rain storms I have to walk through a waterfall to get to my apartment. The people in the office are nice, but they just give smiles with no resolution.

I lost 10 thousand dollars worth of furniture, computer.... and sentimental items like photos and my sons artwork. They REFUSED to fix the leak. I waited a week. Then pretty much everything was destroyed after a storm. They refused to look at it all day. I was thrown out of the office for crying because I lost everything. And all she would say is, ‘ if it was me, this wouldn’t have happened as I have full insurance’. I’ve slept on the cold floor with no dry pillow or sheets 4 times the last week. 2 days ago the whole building flooded, and everyone else on the other side had their apartment soaked. I had no water or access to toilet all night, and they did nothing. Charlie is great. And Stacey has a good heart until politics and her job get in the way, and then she is as corporate and cold as they come. It’s a disaster. We don’t have water for about 2 hours a day. My toilet hasn’t flushed properly in 4 months... and I haven’t had a working dish washer in 9 months. I can’t keep anything under the sink now because the stench of mold is too bad. I literally can’t stop crying for everything I have lost.

Its unfortunate there isnt zero stars because 1 star doesnt do the place justice. Im 3 months into my lease and Im counting down the days until its over. Like you, I read the reviews for this place. But hopefully I can save you from doing what I did next and signing a lease with these people. For starters, in the summer the first week I moved in I was without hot water for 8 days! I had to stay with my boyfriend for that time while they fixed the hot water heaters. NOT a good first impression. About a month ago when we received our first snow I realized my heat did not work. So myself and my three year old had to go stay elsewhere AGAIN because we couldnt stay in my apartment that I pay rent for. They offer no concessions for their screw ups! I ended up having to send a notification letter for violation of the CO Habitability laws. Alexis G. (shes a real joy) who works in the office had the nerve to go back and forth with me about why I didnt call the maintenance line to report the issue when I actually did call them three times in the prior week. Instead of trying to go back and forth with me take some of that money you steal from your residents and pay to get the heat fixed. My apartment has little baby ants in it. There was a wasp nest in my apartment on move in. The place is trashy and they make you pay extra for a valet trash service that doesnt even pick up trash when theyre supposed to so it just piles up in the hallway. They also make you pay monthly for a useless alarm service. I feel bad for the maintenance guys. They try hard but theres just so much wrong with this crappy place that theyre overwhelmed. And like other reviewers mentioned, there are CONSTANT water shut offs. BH Management is horrible and I smell a class action lawsuit coming their way. PLEASE whatever you do DO NOT move here. Youre better off moving into a hotel and giving yourself time to find a better place thats comparable in price. Dont do what I did and move on compulsion. Youll pay for it.

Only been here for 7 days now. Heavy rain today and my walls are leaking. The ac doesn’t work at all. Only blows out hot air no matter what setting it is on. There’s little roaches all over. The toilet seat isn’t attached and the whole toilet rocks on the ground. I just spoke with maintenance and he told me that he’s already received 6 calls today about leaking apartments and that he’d try to take care of me Monday. More than 48 hours from now. If you read all these reviews it just seems like this company cannot follow through or repair its issues. The management team is very kind, I only wish I would’ve read these myself before coming here. Cheap rent doesn’t make up for complete lack of service. I hope these issues can be resolved.Edit: manager Shanna has resolved all our damages. She scheduled maintenance to come perform the repairs and they were all taken care of within a day of requesting them. Hopeful for the future and thankful they quickly repaired our issues.

Update: My husband and I are moving out at the end of our year lease, THANK GOODNESS. They tried to raise our rent $150 a month if we renewed, which I understand is just the Denver market. But it makes these affordable apartments no longer affordable for how terrible they are.Theyve gotten better about informing us about water shut offs, but they still happen regularly. They have hired some new staff in the front office, and I havent had good experiences with them. One girl in particular treated me like an idiot for asking questions to clarify their notice about the AC being turned back on, and told me there was a notice about the pools opening which I never got. On the subject of the pools, they didnt cover the second, smaller pool for the entire winter. The lifeguard sign is floating next to all of the ducks in the rain and melted snow water that is now dark swamp green. It smells terrible too.Again, stay away. Maybe in a couple years they will have updated enough things that they will be good apartments. But right now, just dont bother. The apartments themselves have a nice setup. The open kitchen is great. The balcony is nice.Parking is hit or miss. Sometimes theres a few spots open and others theres absolutely zero. It makes no sense because that can be from one day to the next. The absolute worst part about these apartments is the fact that they turn the water off whenever the heck they want. Sometimes they send an email and sometimes they dont. And when you call to ask why they shrug it off like shutting the water off for the third time this week is a completely normal thing that nobody should be upset about. Sometimes its for 15 minutes which is actually like an hour. Sometimes for four hours.Safety is another huge concern. At all hours of the night our neighbors sound like their going to kill each other. Throwing stuff against the wall and yelling at the top of their lungs. There was a deadly shooting a few months ago. A week later, I was questioned by the police asking if I heard anything the previous night, while there were several people on the stairs crying behind the officer. The air conditioning is turned off for the entire community once they start getting a few complaints about people getting cold and wanting heat. Which means those of us who like to keep it cold well into October get screwed over and cant sleep because its too hot. Even during the summer our AC went out multiple times and we asked them to fix it each time and it only worked for maybe a day before going out again.Overall, stay away. These apartments are not worth the hassle and lack of safety.

The water gets shut off almost on a weekly basis for one reason or another, as im typing this our water is currently shut off and will be all day. Two days ago our water was shut off as well. They did not tell me this would happen so frequently when I moved in. In fact they didnt mention it at all. DO NOT move here. Also our shower never works like it should. Sometimes there is no hot water no matter how long you let it heat up and sometimes the water is so hot it literally burns your skin and wont cool down. This also happens mid shower the water will go from a normal temperature to burning your skin. (Ive gotten burns on my skin from this happening when I wasnt expecting). Also the laundry room is horrible the machines are expensive and only 2 of the 6 dryers in the room heat up and dry your clothes. The others just take your money and spin the clothes around. To dry your clothes in one of these dryers it takes running it at least 3 times and your clothes will still be damp. Ive told the office workers about this multiple times and nothing has ever been done to fix it in the more than 2 years Ive lived here. If you are thinking about moving here I highly suggest finding a different apartment complex.

Originally I was going to give this three stars until today. I’m giving this place 5 Stars because I had some critical issues when I first moved in. But OMG today the Maintenance Tech Steve that the Manger Stacy had sent my way originally came in to fix a lighting issue I had. But when I showed him my front door and how it wasn’t latching right Steve immediately took action and went to the Maintenance Shop and fab up some steel parts and within minutes fixed my problem. I didn’t really feel the sense of Urgency with the other Tech because his solution was to “wait” and order parts.Steve however was a life saver for me in my case. That and his level of professionalism and sense of urgency. This place gets 5 stars because of Steve. What else? Currently they had a change over as people have previously stated. They are short staffed at the moment and even based on the amount of work load they have they still come through with what needs to get done. That and if you want a Tech that has a sense of Urgency “ask for Steve”. I made him my primary Tech to address any other issues I have with my Apartment. That and they are now giving every resident a Home Secuirty Alarm system!! It’s awesome!! They are starting that project tomorrow so I will feel even more safe and secure once that project is completed. This place is awesome!!Hope this review helps anyone that is looking to rent here.Highly Satisfied 👌

I have lived at Loft 9 for about 14 years now and I have seen about half a dozen owners and property management companies come and go. Some good, some not so good. I am writing this because I am IMPRESSED with the leasing office and maintenance staff currently working here. Specifically, the Property Manager- Shanna, and the Assistant Manager- DeAnna, as well as their leasing staff--Mayela and Krystal. Further, the Maintenance Manager--Josh, and his staff, Danny, Issiah, Nate and grounds keeper Ali. All of these people have repeatedly surpassed my expectations in attending to issues, and providing customer service above and beyond what I have seen in the past from other management companies. In a world where customer service has been relegated to second or third priority, they have proven to be an exception to this deplorable trend. Case in point. I am not an advocate of the internet, so when the payment system of rent and utilities via the internet was initiated (requiring an email address) I had little experience with computers in general, and the internet in particular. Computer/internet knowledge is NOT a prerequisite for existence. There was an unknown problem with arranging an email address for me and it took perseverance to finally clear it up, and a substantial amount of the staffs time in doing so. Then navigating me through the subsequent screens to pay rent, submit work requests and so forth. I am Astonished at the patience your staff has, since everyone else on the planet- it would seem-knows how to navigate the internet... except myself. Although this lack of knowledge was inconvenient for all concerned, I was not made to feel incompetent, inadequate, or a nuisance... NOT ONCE. I have had several maintenance issues over the last six months, and they have been repeatedly handled professionally, expeditiously, and to my extreme satisfaction. The latest issue was a malfunction with my air conditioning. I am a senior citizen, and the heat is especially difficult for me to contend with. As a security guard I work graveyard shifts, so it is necessary for me to sleep during the heat of the day. This situation was addressed with rapid dispatch. If you continue to have this caliber of staff, I look forward to another 14 years on your property (good lord willing, of course). In a word, they are SUPERLATIVE.

I’ve lived at Loft 9 for almost a year. In that entire time they’ve answered the phone probably 2% of the times I’ve called. When I noticed my dishwasher stopped working in March, it took them 75 days (yes, I started counting) to fix it. I called and emailed the front office. I called and emailed the the management company. I was promised 5 times I would be put at the top of the waiting list. When my husband called they said they had already sent someone to fix it, (we hadn’t given permission for anyone to enter and no one left notice that they had entered) we believe they lied when they told us that. The issue finally got fixed thanks to Shanon but it took me going into the office after work one day since no one would answer my calls, emails, or respond to my voicemails. We had been calling for months about a mice issue and that only got addressed once I went into the office that same day. It still hasn’t actually been fixed. We get emails probably 4 times a month about water shut offs, always occurring at the most inconvenient times of the day. Talking about water, the shower only has 2 temperatures, freezing or scalding. We have no idea how the valet trash works bc it seems like they only pick up our trash if they feel like it. We take our trash to the dumpster ourselves most of the time and we still have no option but to pay for the stupid trash service. All this stuff is such a frickin’ bummer bc they apartments seem like they’d be a nice place to live. The big issue is, no one makes it a priority to help you feel at home. It seems like no one cares if your heat goes out in the middle of winter (took them 2 weeks to even get someone in the apartment to fix it) or if the ac leaks, or if your ac even works at all. My lease is up in 13 days. I won’t be renewing it. Inexpensive rent will probably cost you your comfort. It has for me.
