Now that they have new management, they have been so good to me and my family I Sincerely like the employees in the office and Maintenance, everyone is just so kind and understanding they are really good people, Alex, Andrew and Allison are just the best I’m so thankful to have them around. You guys deserve a pleasant review keep up the good work! And again thank you for working so hard for our community (:
Honestly all of the bad reviews on here are due to the past owners Adviner at Lowery. Ever nice Novi at Lowry took over it has been amazing living here. They truly care about the people who live here. Alex the Assistant Manager has helped me with any questions I have had no matter how many! They are a great place to rent an apartment from.
I lived there for almost 2 years. I was with them when management changed. I was in domestic violent relationship. They declined my request for me to get off the lease. Now having been diagnosed with PTSD I have to go back there and pay a fee. A fee I wasnt told about for 6 months! They dont take credit card to pay it only cash or money gram! Management then, didnt care about safety of their residents. Management now doesnt care about safety.
Thanks to entire team Allison Andrew Michelle & Maintenance Staff, You have been very supportive & l am very grateful!!💯
I wanted to recognize the Novi Maintenance crew for providing exceptional service last Saturday (3/13/2021), the first night of the blizzard. At 5:30pm we noticed we had no water. I immediately panicked thinking we were going to be stuck without water through the blizzard. I called the maintenance emergency number and surprisingly heard back right away. We were informed it was a boiler and adjoining pipe issue, and that they were already working on correcting it, and we were given an estimated time of completion. Water was restored even sooner than he thought. However, around 9:00 we discovered now there was no Hot water. I called again thinking we were out of luck, and up popped Noah at our front door. Noah fixed the problem and stayed through the worst of the storm until Hot water was totally restored and replenished. I cannot emphasize how much we appreciated the teams efforts in ensuring our happiness and comfort. It was a very Welcome Surprise.
I recently moved to Denver, and I live in an apartment at advenir. I have to say I love it so far! They have a hot tub and pool, and everyone seems very friendly so far! The apartment looks as it just got redone or its new! Also the lease office has some pretty amazing people working there, like Brittany and Yvette. Those girls have done an amazing job since day one of me living here. They have made me feel welcome and at home and they are always there to help. I appreciate the hard work.
Ive lived here for 3yrs now and this place has turned it around. The new leasing staff are way more friendly and helpful. The maintenance crew is even better. Instead of doing a temporary fix they make sure its fixed right unlike the last maintenance crew they had. My only issue is not being able to do anything when someone parks in my covered parking spot especially at night. Now if that gets changed to where the tenants can this place would have 5 stars for sure
Have not had water or heat in our building for two days now, I understand emergencies happen but I have called the office several times to get an update of when it may be fixed, and still have not even got a call back, trying to get a hold of anyone in that office is impossible and even if you do, they can not help. This means no toilet, no shower, cant cook or do anything im paying a ridiculous amount of rent for!
I am editing my previous review due to the fact it seemed to be the only way to get ahold of management last week when dealing with inhabitable issues. Now, this is my full review of this property as well as past and current management. Hoping to help anyone looking to move here to make the right decision and stay away.Last week, conveniently before several buildings on this property’s boiler rooms were apparently broken into by the fire department and pipes had burst in them. Your renter’s insurance was no longer valid if you were enrolled in the program with old management. On top of this, we received absolutely NO communication from management about what was going on, even though we frequently receive communication regarding lost/found dogs or community events (during a pandemic). We still do not know what exactly happened. We did not have heat for at least four days and no water/plumbing for one of those days. Pipes were frozen in our laundry room for that entire time as well. There needs to be on-call emergency maintenance, not just a voicemail for when everyone gets to the office.Because of the previously stated issues we needed to stay in a hotel for one night as we work and need to be able to shower, brush our teeth, etc. When asking for a simple reimbursement of the in no way extravagant hotel stay charge, we were refused. This is an issue I have with upper management that is not on-site. The very LEAST that could have been done was reimbursing our full hotel stay and that was refused outright. As for packages, you guys should consider a package concierge system, as several times carriers have marked packages as delivered and I constantly get told they are not in the office. Do yourselves a favor and remove your liability. Super frustrating when I work two jobs, come to get a package the only time I can (since office hours are during my hours of work), and I am told it is not there when I know it is.We pay for the amenities at this property as well as an insane amount of monthly fees and shared utilities. The funny thing is all of the amenities get locked up when the leasing office is closed. I also work those normal business hours, so tell me why I pay for amenities I cannot even use (I know I’m not the only one)?On another note, I have also not had a window screen since we moved into this property in July and our lease is almost over. Even though I keep getting told one-month maximum on the order of this screen, I obviously do not believe I will even see it at this point. It does not matter how many maintenance requests you enter, it seems that they get marked as resolved when they are quite frankly not resolved (more so with previous management). As a person with two jobs and working towards my masters as a full-time graduate student, I do not have the time or energy to deal with these issues and go back and forth with management on things that should just be expected to be fixed.Overall, I would rate my experience in the negatives as we and our neighbors seem to consistently have issues. If you are a resident of this property and have the slightest issue that causes even the minorest of inconveniences, you are not treated with respect but as a commodity and annoyance. I stand by my previous statement that both previous and current management are not favorable.*Also, maintenance ruined our not so cheap white bath mat by walking all over it with their muddy boots. It would be nice to be called, so we know which days they are getting to our maintenance requests and entering our apartment. As sometimes Ive been in the shower or things get ruined.
This is not a safe place to live! There are homeless people with ankle monitors living in the laundry rooms and destroying the property. Management says they cant afford to get the residents keys but have the nerve to charge 1300 dollars for rent. They say they have security after business hours, last time I tried to call a security officer, they said they wouldnt come and I would have to call the police just to do laundry and thats only when a washing machine is available since they only have 3! If you think you are going to be able to work from home and have any privacy at all, think again! Ive had 4 different people come into my apt. In 7 months for inspections in the middle of a pandemic! Residents are expected to abide by every new rule they come up with but they will not hold up to their end!
I love this place but can you guys plss boost the wifi on ur property that would make this even better
I want to thank Brittany D. For all the help with a couple of issues in my apartment. She went above and be helpful when others did not!Thank you Brittany,
Brittany was so nice and made the process so easy. Even when we had trouble she was able to help and ease my mind. She is so helpful and nice and I highly recommend moving here when the staff is caring and understanding.
I have never in all my 7 years of living with Advenir witnessed the true heart felt genuine concern and input in the community! They have gone beyond the office to making the recreational areas for the children who have been cooped up inside due to corona virus play friendly and even send regular emails to the community to make sure we know about possible threats or misconduct of random strangers who have access to codes to laundry rooms etc. They update these and regularly do surprise things like giving away free things and buying breakfast just because we are apart of the community! It shows love beyond the pay grade and I hope they stay here with us for a long time to come. Awesome work team👍👏👏
A great place to be no fighting no arguing just peace they have a theater where you can bring your own movies your own popcorn candy whatever they got a gym a workout room pool but its closed they even got a gaming room and a TV room
* Highly recommend for first time movers! My experience so far has been great. The staff here is very friendly, and the entire establishment is very cleanly, and well kept. I am stoaked to have the dog park behind my building, and there is so much more to offer for me to stay busy.
Comfortable living environment. Staff is on top of things. Team leader is a go getter. Quality and friendliness at reception area is genuine!
Although I did not end up living at Advenir at Lowry, I did want to compliment my leasing consultant, Celina. She was very professional, helpful, positive, and answered all of my questions. She even followed up with me a few days later to make sure I found a place. I would recommend working with Celina if you plan to take a look around here. Thank you!
Horrible complex. Maintenance is rude, it took us weeks to get a new air conditioner to replace the one that did not work at all leaving us in a 90° apartment for weeks. I had to fix my own dishwasher because maintenance simply would not come. Roaches. Bedbugs. They treated our apartment for bedbugs once, and despite us washing all of our laundry and completely replacing our bed, the bedbugs came back within a month. When asked about another treatment they have the nerve to trap us into paying for the second treatment of $550. And it’s not even a heat treatment. Twisting our words and making it seem like we did not inform them we had bedbugs when we let them know immediately. Do not move here this place is disgusting. We cannot wait to move.
First off, Linda is great! However there are over 120$ in extra fees on top of rent that are not not fully explained before moving in. Wifi is supposed to come with your place and Ive yet to be able to connect. The trash that we also pay for has overflowed on more than one occasion. Friendly neighborhood and other perks have been nice to have! Work orders are are completed in a timely manner as well!
Honestly after new staff and management everything is much better and miss Selena is honestly one on the most nicest and hard worker. I’m glad she is part of the team she always finds solutions when I need help.
I love the basketball courts were the best and so many people to play with and the staff was amazing
This place is DISGUSTING and the office staff is incredibly rude & horrible at their jobs. After you sign a lease they hit you with about $150/month in additional, non-negotiable fees. There are mice & roaches in the units and homeless people living in the complex. My unit was cleaner when I moved out than when I moved in, and not only did they try to withhold my entire security deposit, but stated I owed them money for cleaning and pest control, when they had never done any cleaning or pest control for the year I lived there. AVOID THIS DUMP AT ALL COSTS!
I have lived here for a few years and was pleasantly welcomed by new manager Dannon Martinez, she is a breath of fresh air. New improvements around the complex are a nice change. I really like living here. Nice neighbors and great location. A new maintenance team and more laundry rooms and Id give this place 5 stars!
I got my son his first apartment here and its been terrible every since. THEY GIVE HIM A NONREADY APARTMENT. First off I paid 3000 dollars to get him in. Then he has to dill with roaches everywhere and pay for them TOO. It made the rent 40 bucks higher. Then you cant park in the parking lot unless you have a permit. So u have to pay or completely park outside of the complex. The office staff is very rude and not understanding at all. So sad for my son his first experience on his own and have to dill with this for a whole year. As soon as his lease is up Im moving him right out of there and throwing his furniture away and buying him new stuff. Wouldnt want to bring any of there bugs with him. Never move here I thought they cleaned up these places but NO THEY NEVER DID. HOWEVER, on the up side the mantince staff are really go at what they do. Its shame they dont have much to work with. How sad 😥
I do not live here however my daughter and her fiance do. Maintenace is a problem. There were several problems when she moved in and maintenance has yet to fix them. Over seven months ago! The problem is marked as finished when it wasnt even looked into. The carpet, heat registers, and air condition were filthy and this was after maintenace supposedly cleaned it for her to move in. Maintenace did come to replace the light bulb! But was rude when asked about another issue. Windows are cracked and with rain and or snow it allows water damage inside. This place is a safety hazard. Osha should get involved!
Stoped into the office they where very helpful, respectful, kind, and welcomeful.Best customer service of the year
The new Manager Dannon is the best theyve had in years. Finally someone who cares about tennants. She is a great leader and it shows by how great the staff has become!
I have lived here for 6.5 years. I love it. I do not want to ever leave. The residence is quiet and the staff kind and thoughtful. It is close to bus routes, which I surely appreciate.
I lived in Advenir for two years and have had some very negative experiences, with the staff, maintenance, and the grounds. The office has had a significant amount of turnover and within the last months Dannon has started working there. I could only wish she had started sooner because she has been the kindest and most understanding person. Working with her has been a breeze, especially during my move out process. She has been very transparent and has not made me feel like Ive been scammed out of money (which former employees did). So in my opinion, this apartment complex is affordable and it seems like the current staff really are trying to make it better. My 1 bedroom apartment was great to live in, especially the patio!
Very friendly staff ! They answered all my questions and the manager was very helpful and kind ! Would recommend getting an apartment here :)
Super great experience. Immediately was given a tour with friends and the lady who attended us was super nice.
So we moved in on a Wednesday. We got the the leasing office and got the keys and everything was fine. So my family and I move EVERYTHING into my apartment Wednesday evening. By about 9p there were cockroaches EVERYWHERE! Everywhere you looked you saw at least 4 of them crawling all over. So we went to the office to ask about pest control and the lady told us that they couldn’t do anything about it until Monday. So I went back into the infested apartment and while I was laying out roach killing bait I noticed there was a GIANT HOLE in the ceiling near the kitchen that they must have been coming out of. I was extremely mad that the apartment had not been looked at to check for roach poop (which was very visible on the light colored flooring) and they didn’t check for major damages. Luckily one of the managers in the office did offer to let us move to a different building that had not had bug complaints. So we spent about $300 to hire movers because we were exhausted and simply couldn’t move all of the heavy stuff again less than 24 hours later. I went to the office after the second move to see if maybe we could get a discount on next months rent due to the laziness of the complex in not even checking to make sure the unit was liveable and the woman in the leasing office said “sorry we can’t cover moving costs”. Which is super frustrating because we shouldn’t have had to move twice in a day for something that I had no control over. The ladies in the leasing office are very friendly and it’s not their fault there were bugs in there but the apartment should have been inspected before I moved in.
Negatives: some trash in the bushes around our unit thats always been there, our washing machine room has a broken door and no light, confusion as to why the rent increased with no improvements. Also rent went up when a third party billing service went into place.Difficult access to movie theater room and other amenities in the rental office.Positives:The mail and package system is great. The community is tucked away from its surroundings, parking is abundant since they started charging, the balconies are large, generally safe and quiet, the community events are great!
I enjoy this community very much. The management and leasing agents helped out in every way and made my move-in go as easily and smoothly as possible. I doubt that anything will change during the term of my lease.I wrote the above portion a while ago. As of right now my opinion has drastically changed. Unfortunately the facilities aren’t well kept (not properly cleaned, a fire extinguisher in the gym was set off in the gym and hasn’t been disposed of) or maintained, the maintenance team has yet to fix issues in my apartment (plumbing, appliance error, etc.). The staff remains helpful, but tends to close early and turn off phone early as well. I hoped for better but haven’t received anything to make that happen.
I wish I could give a lower score. DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Current resident and our entire staff quit because of management, ALL GONE!! The Manager.. She is a horrible human being with no respect for the residents. We moved here after the death of our first born son looking for a peaceful place/fresh start. Once we signed the lease one horrible thing after another. This place is dirty (Roaches) and refuses to repair damages. Like the peeling bathtub. I told them about my new baby who cant take baths because I dont want him accidentally eating paint chips. Makes me sad people are treated this way..
This was the best leasing staff I encountered in my apartment hunt! Linda was awesome to work with and addressed all my concerns and satisfied all my needs and wants!!! Great community to live!!
Miss Yvette is very professional and fun all at the same time! Showed me around the apartments and answered all the question I had :) .
Hi Everyone My Wife & I came from Miami Florida and we love the Apartment right next to the park. Two things that were small is done and every time we need something Management is a call or a door knock away. Overall experience is great, if you can compare to Miami Florida I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ coming from someone that lived there for 35 years. It was the Best Decision ever 💯
Worst experience of my life. The leasing agent lied to us numerous times when we moved in. We were told we were getting a first floor apartment, but it ended up being a half basement and looked nothing like the one we toured even after we were told it would. We were told the property had internet that worked very well, it doesnt work at all. When we asked the main office about it they told us we had to take it up with the internet company. The gym is literally falling apart and the majority of the equipment is broken. We moved in at the end of March 2019 and there were roaches when we moved in. The roach traps were dated from February. It took over six months of packing up our kitchen once a week and calling the office to resolve it. We actually had to get the health department involved. At one point the Terminix employee they were using told us he didnt believe we had roaches even though we had a complaint with the health department. The property manager told us we should just accept it because bugs are a part of life. The laundry facilities smell like a sewer. The property is disgusting and is never cleaned or kept up. They are now painting the outside as if that can cover up the disgusting insides of the apartments. The rent is cheap but they charge an outrageous amount in fees. Dont let the area outside of the main office trick you, that area is upkept but nothing else. There is constantly trash everywhere, and the dumpster is overflowing before the trash is picked up.Last but not least, the main office staff is extremely rude. They never answer the phone, and sometimes have even hung up on me. They will also come up with ridiculous fees to charge you when you move out.I would give this place negative stars if I could. Dont move here, especially building 11. Its not worth it.
Lack of customer service, lack information, staff doesnt follow their own rules. My heating appliance stays on 90 no matter what i do, they came in to fix it, only to find out they only glued the thermostat to the wall. they gave someone else my car port number ( after i was told that no one else would have it) the car was parked for 5 days, i called them everyday to let them know and nothing was done about it until i kept going to the office and calling them everyday. STAFF IS VERY RUDE AND DOES NOT KNOW THEIR JOB> i highly suggest a whole new team and management. the manager is no where to be found even though i see her in her office, ignores that her staff needs help and neglects to show them how the the job should be done. My first walk through wasnt until the day i moved in and they were stalling, (walk through was with a new employee who didnt really know anything about the place she worked at) nothing was fixed, nails everywhere in the apt and carpet was extremely dirty, broken glass everywhere on balcony, etc. i could go on but i would end up writing an essay.
Ill give this place one star for the hard working maintenance people and the one guy who was a decent person in the office. Other than that, this place is a total dump. Believe me, I lived here for two long years, do not move your family here. The neglect became evident with the accent wall promised. It was never painted. The baseboard heaters worked poorly or not at all during winter and space coolers ran loud pumping in the funky smell of outside. The community laundry rooms are littered with dog poop, coated in hair, and serves as a homeless camp. There was a cleaning service that maintained it when we first moved here but they disappeared leaving the laundry room severely neglected. My apartment shares a wall with one laundry room. during winter months, the pipes freeze and burst, flooding our bedrooms. We had to move everything out the room so the water extraction team could rip the carpet out and dry the floor with these big loud fans. The fans would have to blow for two long days and night. The lives of my husband and I and our three kids had to revolve around this process at least six times in the two years we lived here. When we brought this reoccurring issue to the head manager, she said, these things are normal and there is nothing we can do about it. How about not leasing an apartment with known problems? If you decide to, how about compensating people when these know problems occur? Also during the winter months, mice migrate in from the bushes into our unit. We told the office and requested an exterminator ASAP. We had a newborn at the time. Days, weeks, and a month passed and the exterminator was a no show. When we asked about it, the office casually told us that the exterminator is on rotation and will make it to our building based on his schedule. My husband bought sticky traps and caught 3 mice. Why do we pay for pest control? When our lease was up, we decided to pay a little more money and move out. Good money and time were spent cleaning up the unit for turn in inspection. It was obvious to us that the carpets would need replacement due to normal wear and tear and flooding, so we did not expect our deposit back. But, we expected to break even. They charged us a $300 full cleaning fee. What did they fully clean behind us? If this is a standard charge of moving out, than people need to be notified so their time and money wont be wasted. You and your family deserve better. Do not move here or to any other Advenir labeled apartments and be subjected to a neglectful property management company.
The new manager is a great person she is very friendly and helpful thank you for all your help 👏👏👏
So since my last review things have gotten 10000000% worse here. They replied to my review saying that they would contact me to resolve my issue. I never heard from them and then when I went into the office to ask if something would be done nobody seemed to know anything about it. Just an absolute nightmare here. And as a side note they do not let you sublet or transfer your lease AND they charge you twice as much to get out of your lease than the federal standard. DO NOT LIVE HERE! And if the office responds to this then just know, its an empty response and nothing will be done.
Good place to live. It was neglected for a bit but now with a amazing property manager and good maintenance team it has done a complete 180. Check it out its worth it.
Had relatives that lived here. 1 Star is too good for this apartment complex. This place is a dump!! Cockroaches in the apartment, rats in the dumpster, unkept grounds, unclean laundry area, homeless people sleeping in laundry area and office staff who could care less! Do NOT live here!!!
I wish 0 stars was an option. They are helpful and friendly until you sign the lease then they no longer care. For the term of my lease the pool was closed for maintenance, most of the gym equipment is broken, security that patrols at night is non existent and doesnt respond. Multiple work orders were completed although the problem still existed, multiple times we did not have water or heat during the winter. My vehicle was broken into, numerous fights, cops always there, shooting in downstairs unit last week, major infestations that Management denied and refused to take care of. I left numerous messages and not once were they returned I finally caught the Assistant manager Monica to explain all this and work things out, her response was Google fair housing they have all kinds of answers. And it isnt our responsibility to babysit you. All around customer service is terrible. I was never late on rent and they still treat you like you ripped them off. They dont care about anyone and our rates went from $1700-$3200. I understand they work within a system but the could show some empathy and understanding instead of taking offense and being short. I personally could not work for or support a company like that. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
The new management (2020) is great.
Very rude manager. Asked to speak with manager and was asked, Manager of what?. I said the apartment complex. Then was rudely told to go wait outside. Customer service is awful, full of excuses and blameshifting. They called me confused and that I misunderstood and could not admit that false information was given out. Nothing is their fault. Extremely nice until they have you locked into a lease. Ive paid my rent of $1200 on time every month for 12months and they could not credit me $280 for their mistake. The only reason they have not gone out of business is due to the lack of places to live in Denver. Its sad that a company can survive with this level of service. If i as a manager, treated a customer like the way I was treated, I would not have a job.The only redeeming quailty is the one female receptionist who is very kind and the maintenance crews who have been great.
Brittany was wonderful throughout the whole process
I recently moved in to these apartments and Ive never REGRETTED something so much. When I first came here to take a tour of the place everyone was really nice and helpful but once I moved in it all changed. I’ve had so many problems I don’t even know where to start. The first day i moved in, I noticed it was really dirty the floors were dirty, the kitchen was super greasy, the floors were chipped, the bathroom sink was stained, the stove was super dirty and I took pictures of everything because as a first time renter you want to move into a clean place. I was pretty upset and sent an email to the office, they NEVER got back to me. So I personally went to the office to talk to someone and all they said was they were going to talk to a manager and see what they could do about it. They never did anything. On the first week of living here I had seen so many cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom, I called the office so they could fumigate the apartment and all they said was that we were clean so they didn’t do it. I had to buy my own sprays to do it myself. When my rent statement came in, I saw that they were charging me $35 for parking. So I went to the office and asked why they were charging me that and the girl said that they automatically charge you parking if you have a 2 bedroom. I got mad because no one told us that upon moving. I couldn’t believe what she told me next, she said “well at least you have a car, we have residents that live here that don’t have cars and still pay for parking” I couldn’t even believe it.So I read the lease, (all 45 pages)and it never said anything about a parking port being included with a 2 bedroom. I called again to tell them this wasn’t on the lease and that I didn’t want to be paying for something that I didn’t even use because the parking spot they gave me is nowhere near my unit. The lady from the office had an attitude and never transferred me to a manager all she said was that it was their policy and they couldn’t do anything about it.I’ve been here 3 months and our toilet is always leaking, there’s always trash on the grass and bushes. People don’t pick up after their pets. It’s just been a horrible experience overall. I would never recommend for anyone to live here. Save your money and find a BETTER AND NICER PLACE.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. This is the worst place me and my roommates have ever lived at. Multiple problems from day one. The floor plan was completely different from the apartment we were shown to the point you have to walk through peoples bedrooms to get to a bathroom. Customer service is THE WORST. No one has any idea what they are doing or how to do it. Extreme plumbing problems in both bathrooms, one where water was filling the bath tub from the drain hole to the point we had to bail out buckets of water so our apartment wouldn’t flood. Currently one bathroom shower still does not work (going on 3 weeks) and still no one has come to fix it. Since living here we have probably 8-10 people come out for various other problems. Also, the pictures of gym, laundry units etc are DECIEVING. All gym equipment is broken and laundry rooms are disgusting. Counting down the days until we can move out.
I moved in mid-July and, despite some issues with rekeying my apartment, I am thoroughly impressed with this complex. Stephanie was super helpful in getting me moved in and fixed the key issues almost immediately (she’s great)! Would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
Please dont read the responses written by the owner to these reviews, because Im 99% sure the person writing them has never even been to this complex. If you try to figure out who ACTUALLY owns or runs this place (theyre not in Colorado) it will make your head spin. Ive reached out to the people onsite already, and theyve called me a liar and explained they do not care how much trouble theyve caused me. If youre looking for management that regularly makes mistakes, you can find them here. If youre looking for management who admits and makes amends for those mistakes, look elsewhere. The tab for their incompetence is now $300+, and Im honestly concerned its due to a scam where the office staff themselves are paid off.And to whoever is writing the response from owner you can stick your We strive to...Please contact up your @$$. Im not reading it.
Been here a year. Homeless slept in laundry room, they fixed the doors to include lock but did send notice what code was. Someone overdosed in courtyard twice so tells you about area. Pipes shook due to old building and walls are super thin. Homeless living in trees behind building, always see cops in area.Pros:Maintenance was quick to respond. For area is cheap compared to other places. Friendly staff.
Trying to help anyone else looking for a place like i was. Please listen to the reviews because we didnt and we got SCAMMED. all the bad reviews happened to us. fire alarm, poor help from office, no one knew what they were doing and when we arrived and signed for move in date she looked at us and said oh we want to move in today? like yes thats what we discussed 2 weeks ago !!! I have never hated a place so much. I want to cry T.T there are so many other things that happened but why am I going to repeat other peoples posts/reviews. I dont write reviews like at all. but they pushed me to this point.
Great place to live! Quiet community, nice neighborhood, friendly staff, great amenities. Always prompt to fix issues and have great events open to residents!
I do not understand why everyone is so upset with this apartment complex. The staff have been nothing but friendly and they seem to be slowly improving the down trodden apartments from the last owners. The main office and the grounds seem to be well kept to the best of their ability. Anyone complaining about a dog mess has no real concept that even though they own the property, it is the dog owners responsibility to clean up after them BY LAW. In Colorado at the moment, what you pay for the amount of space, upgraded amenities and parking space is far better than anywhere else. I looked at fifteen places before deciding on this place. The only downfall is you can hear your neighbors but that comes with the territory of living in an apartment. People dont understand that it takes time to upgrade an apartment complex and I am sure based on who was here when I first moved in, they had quite a lot of work on their hands. No it is not some Cherry Creek high end apartment complex with everyone waiting at your beck and call but for the most part it is well kept, diverse and everyone seems to be fairly nice. I heard someone gripe about a $600 deposit which cant be true unless your credit is just awful so we wont be taking that opinion into account. Overall, its a pretty nice apartment for the price in an area that has a lot of gentrification. I dont complain a lot but I also think people should be commended for their work as well.
Out of all the neglect my family faced living here for two years, the worst was the parking situation. When we moved here, parking was first come first serve. This made it challenging to find a space late night, but not entirely impossible before 6pm. Managements solution to this problem was to change the policy to by permit only. Meaning you pay to park where you live, even if you dont own a car. This opened up the parking lot alright by banishing people off the residence and forcing them to park road side; in the land of the side swiped vehicles and the mangled remains of hit and runs. The first effect is that if family decides to come over, they will get towed. The towing company hired is ambitiously aggressive and there was no temporary permit system created for visitors. One morning before work, I watched four cars get towed in less than 30 minutes. One of them was my neighbor who actually pays to park. The others were likely visitors unaware of parking permits. My neighbor got his car back but not his time. The second effect is that criminals had a free for all with this. After my wife walked in on a woman being stabbed out in the parking lot on her way to work one night, I decided to walk her to her car, armed. One night we walked in on a group breaking into a car, just four cars away. When they seen us, they jumped into their truck and sped off. Luckily, it was not a shoot out.Months later, I found my car window busted, dash in pieces, and radio ripped out. 3 other cars were hit that night was what the cops told me.Is this the fault of property management? Indirectly, yes. When you make policy changes after people move in, this effects the lives of real people; not just rent checks. After this and much more, I decided to pay more and move to a better community with a respectful property management company; and parking is free.
Great place I lived here for 2 years they just need to open the pools and office more often like right now its summer we want the pools open they just forget about doing there work and focus on breaks
I like the staffs are very nice and welcoming. Thanks Mrs. Monica, Mrs. Linda, Mrs. Sierra, and Mrs.Dannon for all you alls help as a team!
Does anyone else have issues with maintaining a descent temperature in their apartment? During the summer there is no central air system, just an AC that is always on & doesnt blow out cold air. And now that its getting chilly it is always so hot in our apartment. Ive gone to ask about how to turn off the heater and they tell me there is no way. Our electricity bill is so ridiculous because of how we still have the AC still going because the heater stays on all day & night. Also, we cant leave the window open because of all the squirrels and pigeons and lack of window screens.
I absolutely agree with everyone who says this place screws up your paperwork. I have a child living here and wish he didnt. The charges posted under your account history are never the same as what you receive as billed on your statement. Dont bother going to the office to discuss any billing fees because they will say there is nothing they can do about it while continuing to hit you with enormous late fees each day. Even when you follow their direction regarding your bill they will charge you late fees. This place is a rip off. If at all possible avoid this apartment complex. Run dont walk!! I cant wait until his contract is up because he is out of the horrible place.UPDATEI reached out to the apartment complex as suggested from their reply and it was a total waste of time. The manager was to contact their regional office and call me back. Well after no return call, I contacted her and was told that she remembers getting an email from regional but her computer was down and couldnt get into it as she was waiting on IT to fix her computer. She also goes on to say that regionals reply was that there was nothing they could do. If she couldnt get into her computer how does she know what the email stated. A bunch of BS. Please dont waste your time renting from this place because if you ever fall on hard times they would rather kick you out than help you.08/21/17If you thought things would get better at this place, think again. This is the worst place you could possibly want to stay. My son was out of town on vacation. When he returned home the place was flooded and EVERYTHING was ruined and this isnt the first time his apartment has had water damage. The only clothes he have are the ones he took on vacation. You would think these people would have some compassion, NOT. All these people care about is their rent money. These people are horrible individuals. Anything they tell you its best to get in writing because they will turn around and change their story. My son was told that he didnt have to pay this months rent now hes being told that his rent is late. This is a bunch of BS after their neglect ruined all his belongings. Every chance I get Im going to tell people about this place.UPDATEAfter living in a hotel for a week (Thank God for renters insurance) the apartment complex moved my son into another apartment. You would think that is good but these darn people charged him ANOTHER deposit. What the freak -- you still have the deposit from the first apartment & why the heck are you asking for another deposit when hes not a new resident. If you want to avoid a lot of headaches, dont rent from these people.
Weve dealt with everything from being moved into the wrong apartment, car being towed with no reason, the wrong amount of rent being posted to the account, several times of being told well call you back on the issue and never getting a call back, laundry rooms being locked with no notice, issues with repairs weve just gave up on because no one fixes it, cockroaches the first 2 months until we ourselves paid to take care of the, and to top it off we signed 1225$ (for the wrong apartment but they never got back to us on moving to the right one) and end up paying close to 1600$ due to utilities The office is either too ignorant or just too plain dumb to help.
This place let someone use my Id and everything on me to get a place . And thinks I am going to pay . What a joke . By time I am done with them I court if they dont go after the right person . I will own this place and sale the land its on. Its hard to be in. Two states and the same time .
The maintenance team is amazing. On top of their game. The residents are terrible at picking up their dog poop, so the guys have added pooper-scooper to their responsibilities. When you let the leasing team know their is an issue, they are quick to put in a request, the maintenance is there in a couple of days to either fix or assess whether they need an outside vendor to come in.The girls in the office are very sweet and know their stuff. If you treat them with respect, they will in turn give you an ample amount of respect. My 1 star comes from promised amenities that arent always available and an issue that went unresolved for 3 months that resulted in personal property damage that they refuse to take responsibility for. As well as the price tag vs the quality of the apartments, despite their proximity to downtown. For starters, and we did know this going in but it has proved to me more of an issue than anticipated, there is no storage whatsoever. Not in the apartment or on the property for residents.Air conditioning is non-existent, despite the AC box build into the wall. It blows cool air, but not cold, and does nothing to cool the apartment down. They needed to repaint all the roofs, Im assuming due to standard compliance, however they chose the cheapest roofing company (Im sure), because we went from no issues to the roofers punching a quarter size hole from the roof all the way down though our bathroom ceiling. I will give them credit, they fixed it the following day, but we had three leaks in our bedroom after that, everyone reported, yet nothing seemed to get done. This is the issue mentioned above that resulted in my personal property getting damaged.Half the gym equipment is either broken, or missing pieces to be able to work. The movie theater projector seems to always be broken, or missing parts. The business center doesnt work at all. They have laundry rooms, but apparently not in all the buildings, and only a handful of washer/dryers in the buildings that do. For example, our building has 24 apartments in it, each with at least 2 people, some more, and we only have 2 washers and 2 dryers. And at least two other buildings use our laundry room. Now, for the neighbourhood. It was great when we first moved in, as winter came. But now that summer is coming around, and Ive heard this is a common thing in the area, we hear gunshot (yes, they are confirmed gunshots and not fireworks), at least twice a week. We live very near what I have dubbed Prostitute Row, and a prime spot for drug deals. All in all, the prices are WAY too high for the age and quality of the apartments, as well as the many amenities that are simply lacking in most aspects. Even if they are right outside Lowry and about 10 minutes from downtown.I do want to once again praise the maintenance team and the leasing agents. Their dedication and kindness are one of the only things that made this place bearable this past year.
This place is the absolute worst. We had an appointment to turn in our keys and check out at 10am, when the office opened. Movers and cleaning people did great having everything ready, showed up at 10am for our appointment but the doors to the office were locked. The manager was sitting in the lounge area drinking coffee. She waved at us several times and in her typical sedistic ways, made us wait outside in the cold until after 11am. This place revels in any pain, suffering, or torment they can inflict on tenants. If you are a sadist, this is the place for you...if not, run as far away from this property as possible. IT IS THE WORST!
We love living here! The staff here is so great and the maintenance guys are quick to come and resolve problems. They have great amenities and free monthly events for all residents!
I wish I could give negative stars. This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Ill start with the WORST part being that I didnt get back my $600 deposit. After calling them for 6 months trying to find out where my deposit went (They hardly ever answer the phone) They said that their records showed only a $200 deposit which is absolutely false. I got completely jacked. When I first moved in, they said we could choose an accent wall color. We asked for red, but they never did it.Then in the second week there, we got kicked out of our apartment for a bug bomb that we did not agree to. Someone must have had bed bugs.If you want a good parking spot, you have to pay for it. Otherwise you have to park two blocks away from your apartment. I paid for a parking spot, but whenever other people parked in it, the apartment manager wouldnt do anything about it. What was the point of paying for my own spot if I couldnt even use it?It was also very loud here. People were screaming and blasting music all the time. I was once woken up by kids outside my window sitting in a shopping cart and screaming. The utility bills are OUTRAGEOUS. Even if we hardly used our utilities and werent home much, we still had to pay about $200 a month cause we have to pay according to what everyone else in the apartment used. If you need maintenance done, youre going to have to wait a long time cause they dont give a damn. There was also a month where I didnt even get my bill to pay rent on time! They dont have anything together here.If you ever need an issue resolved, good luck getting a hold of anyone. The average number of times I had to call the leasing office throughout the day (during business hours) before someone would pick up the phone was about 20 times. Even now I cant get a hold of them to ask for an itemized list of what theyre keeping my deposit for, which I havent received, which is required by law. After it was all over, two months later I call them to ask when Im getting my deposit back and they told me that I dont get it back because of utilities. WHICH I ALREADY PAID.Do not move here. None of your issues will be taken care of, youll pay out the ass for utilities, youll have to leave early in the morning and protect all your belongings for random bug bombs, your internet service wont work well, your parking spots arent guaranteed, neither is your sleep, nobody in the office gives a damn about you, and you wont get your deposit back. The entire place is a scam. The only thing you wont have to worry about is pet rent. Since they cant keep any information together and wont even remember your face, you can tell them you have a pet and you still wont get charged for it cause they can barely keep all their residents and paperwork in check. So free pets! (Still not worth it, though)
My experience started great at Avenir but slowly turned nightmare-like. The property took over new management while I was living there, and lost records of ours. They promised a gym and pool with our lease, but the equipment in the gym is all broken/trashed, and the pool was closed 80% of my time living at Advenir. Lastly, when warm weather came, so did some bugs and when I contacted the office about them, they told me that I would be charged for an exterminator despite my apartment being meticulously clean. Lastly, as we moved out, we were denied our security deposit and were billed for carpet replacement due to “heavy wear.” When asked to provide proof that the carpet was younger than it’s lifespan, they said they didn’t have records because of new management and therefore it needed to be replaced. Overall a dirty, unkept place, money hungry, with rude employees and careless management. Would give a 0 stars if possible.
The lowest rating is one star, but I dont even want to give this place half star. This is the worst place that Ive experienced. I am not live here, but I helped my friend to deal with move out issues. They(office) will try their best to charge you money no matter what. They charge my friend 1000+ even we had agreement in advance. Long story in short, iffff you are soooo rich just want to Give them your money, you will like it. Otherwise Id prefer sleep On street than live here.
If you like cockroaches, blood on the stairs, and bed bugs, this is your place!
If you love to wake up to ants crawling all over you, roaches in your bathroom and the fresh smell of dog poop in the morning this is your place. I lived in college apartments that took better care of their units than this dump. The leasing agents aside from treyben are completely clueless, probably why I have seen 10 different ones in the year Ive lived here. The Property manger is even more clueless regarding anything relevant to her job. When I asked her for an in depth description of the charges on my bill she had no idea what anything was linked to. They have several hidden charges including a billing fee for preparing the bill? My suggestion would be live on the streets before you live here . Not to mention they expect you to have the apt move in ready upon your departure. When moving in there was a gutted blunt in my drawer along with empty 40 bottles throughout the house. See picture below for my move in ready apartment that was infested with ants.
The office screwed up my paperwork and had to pay more to 2 bedroom. When it was time to move out I got 3 different answers of how to handle it. Last but not least when I gave the manager the paper work I put down Poor Management for the reason I am moving she acted like 12-Year old and made a scene.
Had an extreme cockroach problem (aside from a plethora of other issues) My advice. Get some clear packing tape and tape up all vents, cabinets, air conditioner, heaters etc. having exterminators come in repeatedly will do nothing if they’re traveling from other apartments through the vents and air ducts. This while maintaining a clean home was the only way we got rid of the roaches. Good luck!
Advenir at Lowry is the bomb. I went there on my 18th birthday and had a blast. The rooms were Immaculate and the hot tub was exactly what I needed. The staff was friendly and helpful and caterered to my every whim. I mean every whim. They were kind. Their attention to detail is on par with any of the highest most fancy hotels have ever been in.
These guys try hard to make us happy despite the challenges they have inherited as a new management team - I believe this community to be a great deal better than most of the reviews I read made it sound. - Most of the problems we encountered have been small and have been resolved with little effort on our part.
Moved here from Chicago 2 months ago and really love my apartment here! The office has been so great and helpful from my move-in experience and answer my questions about the area and things for me to do too!
I lived here for 3 months and during that time the place was horribly lit the was only two light not including the bathroom light. One was in the kitchen and the other in the hall, not one for the living room or bedroom. Once i moved out the place hit me with an 680 fine for renewing the place up to renting standard and thats with already my deposit not coming back at me. I called the place outraged and asked them why would they charge me for cleaning the carpet, the apartment and painting it. They said it because it was in my contract. After talking to them and trying to figure it out they lowered it to 200 something. Still mad i decided to leave this honest review and warn other before they come and live at this place. There better places and make sure to read the contract before signing for a place of business should not charge you for rerenting their apartment for its their job and how they make money. MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE.
My apartment is so cute, and with such a kind staff, I love it here. Especially Treyben, who always makes sure everything I need is taken care of quickly and with great service.
I moved in eight days ago and already have bed bugs. Why they would allow a new tenant to move into a bed bug ridden apartment is absolutely ridiculous. Yes the rent is affordable, its a decent enough location, and the apartments are nice even though their old. However, the fact that I moved in eight days ago and have bites all over my body and woke up to a bed bug sitting on the pillow next to my face this morning is horrifying and disgusting. Advenir, dont bother responding to my review because you will be receiving a call from me as soon as your office is open. I want to warn any prospective tenants about their bed bug issue before you even think about renting here.
Great property, Yvette was super helpful
Currently sitting in my house while my carbon monoxide alarm is going off and the office won’t come check it out unless smoke is visible. This place is a jokeIM STUCK IN THIS HELL HOLE, these are the types of emails I have to send them and hope to god something is fixed or I’m even noticed.Hello I am contacting you via email because I had talked to the person in the office and they had told me to contact you this way.We were wondering if you could get us a meater reading for our electricity in building 14 unit A5. The reasoning for the reading is because we are used to paying $90-$100 a month for electricity and this last month we are being charged $300. The only reason excel can come up with us that the reading was off.My main concern about the situation is that our AC does not work properly. We had put in service requests time and time again but yet all we get is maintenance coming in temporarily fixing the problem than leaving. It has come down to the point that our apartment is still upper 70s when we get home from work which is very uncomfortable and not what we signed up for signing a lease with you guys. We had recommended someone to move in and they did in building 13 second floor. When we went over to his unit we seen that he has a brand new air conditioner with a remote and works 3X better than the one we are stuck with on the third floor. If our bill is $300 due to us using our air conditioner non stop to keep the apartment at a constant upper 70s it has become out of hand, we have been stuck last summer with our heater what doesn’t shut off unless we close the valves and now this. If we do not get a new AC unit we will be talking to a family member who is a lawyer and take this into legal matter.Thank you.
The reviews speak for themselves, and dont buy the concerned replies from staff. Theyre just trying to save face, but I promise they dont give a rats rear end about anything more than scamming as much of your cash out of you as they possibly can.
Crappy place to live. Second time this month that the water was shut off without warning while in the middle of my shower. Also dont even have hot water half the time. Cant wait to til my lease is over so I get gtfo
This has to be the worst apartment I have ever lived in. The management team is unprofessional and never takes what anyone has to say serious. My car has been towed three times now even tho i payed for a parking pass. When I tried talking to them about resolving the issue their favorite thing to say is “there is nothing we can do” They don’t work with you and are super incompetent! Do not live here! WORST APT EVER!!!!!!!
Frequent car break-ins and vandalism. My car has personally been keyed and windshield shattered as well as anecdotal reports from neighbors having their vehicles tampered with. Security is minimal, patrol is infrequent to the point of practical nonexistence, management is indifferent and the complex is generally an exceedingly unsafe place to live. Lip service on here is one thing, actually implementing measures to improve the premises is another.
My friends live here they have a dog park playground and big pool,I love coming here big beautiful trees and well maintained grounds
This apartment complex has everything! People breaking into the laundry room, people breaking into your car, No parking unless you pay for it, an awesome maintenance crew (not sarcasm), and lastly bed bugs!!! Oh an even better a property manager that refuses to treat the bed bug problem the right way! If you live here or are thinking of renting here I believe a card board box on the 16th street mall is more sanitary. 1800 a month for my family and I to live in these horrible conditions no thanks.
You hear a lot of bad reviews about the place but ever since new management came in (I assume) its been a pleasure. Never had a problem- always have maintenance come fix an issue when needed
Lived at adventure for a year and a half, the only thing I can say I liked is the maintenance crew that managed to fix up the extremely old buildings and plumbing thats constantly need repairs!! Besides that, the buildings are old and like I previously mentioned the plumbing will go out on you and average of 3-4 times a month!! Front Desk team is HORRIBLE with communication. After we decided to move out we handed them our written notice 63 days before moving out, 2 weeks after our notice we were called by the front desk agent Tania asking us if we were going to renew or not. Reminding her that no we were not staying she assured us that the first notice was on file and we would receive our security fee if the apartment was in good conditions. Fast forward to a month after we move out and we receive a BILL for $170 for not giving a 60 day notice!!!! So not only did they keep the $990 deposit but charged us for the remainder of our short notice!!!! I called Tania again asking her WTH happened and said shed call her district manager and Id receive a call back. 2 weeks later after NO call I call again, only to be told that Tania has moved locations and my message was NEVER taken to her higher up!!!So long story short! If youre looking for a comfy place to call home do yourself a favor and SKIP Advenire at Lowry! And if you live there and are about to move out, might as well record every conversation and triple copy ANY piece of paper given to you or turned in. Cuz it will DISAPPEAR AT THEIR CONVENIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 star is too generous for this place.
This place has gone from bad to worst, new management is so unprofessional and conniving. When your trying to address issues with them over the phone they hang up on you and are rude. They tell you to email them with your concerns just so you will stop calling but they never respond to your emails. This place is a dump, definitely not worth what you pay in rent and the headache it is to live here.
Best apartment complex in Denver to the people that maintain the beautiful lanscapes to the main office employees doing an outstanding job Advenir at Lowry keep up the good work guys
Been here longtime the people in the office very wonderful people and the office always very clean well maintained property thank you Advenir apartments at Lowry
I have never in my life wrote a review but after the experience I have had this past week I feel I need to let people know that this apartment complex is very unprofessional and they love getting as much money out of you as they can. So I moved in about 3 years ago had a few problems here and there but nothing I couldn’t brush off my shoulder but just recently I was told I needed to pay for parking when I haven’t been paying for it since I moved in. I was told by an employee that they forgot to charge me for a car port Because I guess now there making people with 2,3and 4 bedrooms pay even if you don’t have a car. I was outraged because when I signed my lease there was no mention of it and I had gone several months without being charged until April 2nd when someone decided to throw it on there and then tell me that they were doing me a solid by not back charging me the months I never used it. I also have been pretty upset that all rent is to be payed online and there is a 7 dollar convience fee to pay on there site. Too many charges randomly pop up on the monthly bill that makes me question why I renewed my lease. Some people or family’s are on set incomes or not financially stable to pay these hidden fees they throw around. There’s nothing really I can do because they always bring up that I signed the lease and have to pay. I just wish corporate would see that what’s going on at these apartments is not ok and that some restructuring needs to happen or something.
Just moved out of this place after 2 years. i had the worst experience. the worst of any apartments i have ever lived in. i would have moved out at 1 yr if i was able to afford it. we have gone thru homeless sleeping in the laundry room (the first week- it took them a month of complaining for them to change the lock. they must get the code cause it keeps happening.) to kids partying and sex in the laundry room as well. dirty needles and condoms in the parking lot. we have been threatened as well have had shootings in this area; have watched drug deals in the parking lot by neighbors;the people above us would pour their dirty grease onto their balcony that leaked onto ours and they did nothing about it. we had roaches come in from the same neighbors as well as bed bugs that took forever to get rid of. people drying their food on the electrical boxes. My toiled broke, cracked and almost fell apart(mind you the only toilet in the apt) and it took them a week to replace. apt has been flooded several times. ive been trying to get a bill or report about the last time it flooded so i can make a claim on my renters ins, this happened in september, we have moved out since. I no longer felt safe or want to have my son around this area any longer. there have been many other issues but this rant is over. my bill after move out is now over 500 after they took my deposit. found this this morning and have been calling all day.
Unfriendly management, pests and bugs in apartments, washer and dryer always out of order, rude service, and will not accommodate or fix. do not waste your money at this apartment complex Or company. There are way too many better companies and places to live in Denver!
I stopped by to check out the place because I am looking for a new apartment and was disgusted by this place. The unit they showed my had dead roaches all over the place, the stairsways were filthy and not mention the staff is rude. There was dog poop all over the place. When I came in they didnt even greet me and I stood around for over 30 minutes before anyone asked me what I needed.
I tried calling them several times to attend to some important matters. They never answered, and hung up the phone. They are absolutely rude. Horrible customer service. Dont believe any of the 5 star 4 star comments. If you apply to these apartments, they WILL screw you over. They screw up your paperwork. They dont attend to any of your maintenance needs. They are lazy, self-serving and unprofessional.
Erica, the boss over here at Advenir is the most unprofessional person you could possibly deal with. Do not live here. They didnt have enough money to pay the water bill when we lived here and blamed it on the city of denver when our showers couldnt run and we couldnt flush our toilets. Come to find out she lied about that too. Horrible person. Horrible place to live.
