I am currently looking for a new apartment and I visited the Gateway Park Apartments this afternoon, without an appointment. I was greeted by Zach who helped me throughout my time touring the apartments. Zach was so accommodating and informed, even though being new to this specific complex. He took the time to show me everything and around the complex. Both my brother, who was with me, and I commented on how pleasant Zach was. The complex was really pretty and quiet and the actual apartment was really nice and spacious. I am excited to start the process of renting one of the beautiful apartments I was shown.
Be warned!!!! If you plan on living here, the first thing you’ll find is there is no place to park! You have to pay for parking but if it is between 6pm and 6am any day of the week there will be no place to park. The management knows this is a problem and will not address this. They had a spot with a handicapped sign hidden behind a tree that both management and the tow company, Wyatt’s Towing, knew about. They towed my car, a paying resident, from this hidden spot on a Sunday night/Monday morning. I had to miss work and important meetings on a Monday work day to fight with them over this. There are abandoned cars with plates over 1 year expirations that I have emailed to management and they refuse to take any action, instead punishing the paying residents. If someone from management replies to this on google, I suggest you take care of the problems at the property you’re supposed to manage. And honor your side of your agreement with residents. You wouldn’t residents not paying you, so why don’t you do what your supposed to do with paying residents money.
I find it appallingly that the staff has made nothing but excuses, and firing back at the people leaving poor reviews for this community.I didnt see one response that they would actually have a plan to address the issues at hand.I dont even live here and I hope others wont either!
This place is awesome Denise is a wonderful assistant manager if you’re looking for a place to stop by here they will help you out come in with a smell you’ll leave that with a smile
I wanted to thank the Maintenance team for getting our dryer fixed. The only reason my wife and I are giving a 3 star right now is because it start of really rocky an a we are hoping to be able to change this to a 5 star before our lease ends.Thank you again maintenance team we know how hard it is at time to be able to get thing fix because of Budgets that you have to fall in. Keep up the hard work.
From the outside, the place looks newer and decent. At just a small scratch, this place is aweful. They dont answer phones during the time they say they will, no customer service, to resolutions, and they cost people unnecessary money by allowing them to be prepared to move having paid for moving arrangements and all.- I applied 3/25/20.- I had clarifying questions, so I emailed the office email addresses. Response times were an average of 3 days.- I leased 1617, a home that I was told had been ready a while. MI date to be 4/10/20.- I was finally told I could see the home and 2 others for a referral.- On 3/6/20, I went to take a look at 1617, 1626, and 2226.- All of the homes were not move in ready and filthy. The best condition was 2226.- I immediately asked to speak with Brenda(ASM) or the CM. I was told that they were swamped dealing with payment plans for existing residents, but would reach out.- I then emailed Brenda next day and informed of my findings(email chain below).- I was given an option to take a look at the same FP in another location.- I stopped by today to look at apartment homes 1811 and 2121.- Those homes were definitely not ready in addition(no fridge, not trashed, etc) to the grounds in front of building being horrendous, visibly broken window, and music blaring in the home below 2121.- I informed Brenda of my findings. She informed me that she walked 2121 with the housekeeper and didn’t see my findings. I then showed her photos.Reached out to superiors and they werent any help. Found another apartment nearby. Beautiful inside and out.Management doesnt even need to respond. I know a poor management team when I see one.
Didn’t even get the opportunity to move in before experiencing sheer unprofessionalism. Denisse in the leasing office had us submit our applications ($42 each) and a holding fee ($300) for a unit that she then double-sold with another agent to another prospective renter. We were then told that we wouldn’t get the holding fee back for 2-4 weeks, and it would be in the form of a check that we would have to go pick up at the leasing office. I was also told that the manger of the property was in a meeting and would get back to me shortly about these issues, this was over 3 hours ago and the office is now ignoring my calls. Extremely shady and unprofessional practices, stay away from this complex.
I went to help my daughter find an apartment. We made an appointment. The leasing agent, who knew we were coming, handed us keys to self show. We were fine with this, however, the landing of the unit we showed ourselves had a mattress, and trash everywhere. Why would you send prospective tenants to a unit - when the entrance is covered in trash! Not a good sign.We will not be renting there!
My sincere thanks to the office staff. Marina, Denise and Jessica. They made my moving transition possible.. I could not ask for more courteous and professional help than what you get with these ladies. I look forward to my move-in date and being a part of their community. SincerelyCheryl Wall
I just moved here At the end of June and I must say this place is amazing. The manager is super friendly and has taken good care of us! I believe her name is Marina and both her, and her staff, have been great thus far, especially with resolving issues. The apartment had a few issues upon move in and those issues have been promptly taken care of at the direction of the manager. Community seems friendly and there are a lot of families with kids which is great since we have kids too. Highly recommend.
I love living here at Gateway Park Apartments. Its very safe and pretty quiet plus the staff is so helpful. Everyone is professional and all of my requests are met in a timely manner. Thank you to Marina Modecker and Brenda Santamaria for all of your help.
Worst management experience Ive ever had. I ignored all the bad reviews and moved in here anyway Dont make the same mistake.
I love my apartment, staff in the office is amazing. You can always talk to Denisse or Marina when in need they are so helpful. Maintenace team is great as well, from grounds Zach, and the 3 Maintenace guys Joel, Erik and Julian. Thank you so much.
All in all the apartment complex is wonderful. The only issue I have with it is THE PARKING it is ubsurd that we have to pay every month to park when there is literally NOWHWERE to park. There is a waiting list for a garage. I do not think they should be allowed to charge us when they do not have enough places for people to park. Yall need to figure it out and create more parking for the residents.
I recently worked with Marina in the front office. I believe she was the manager of the property and the whole experience was great. She listened to my concerns and helped me work through them. I really appreciate all her help!!
Ive lived here going on almost two years. Management has been great, theyve always been a great help even when I had been looking for an apartment. Maintenance get to work orders in a timely manner and never late. How ever my concerns are parking. Parking is never good, my wife and I alot of the time work late and come home to no parking spaces around our building and have to park either on the other side of the complex or drive around sometimes over an hour just to find something decently close. I have notice some families that live here have multiple vehicles and two families own a large majority of the parking lot around the building in lease. Ive counted an upwards of up to six vehicles to one apartment. Other then that I like the place.
Great location!
I went to visit family earlier this year for a week and these apartments are great! The layouts are super spacious and pretty on the inside. The apartment grounds looked very clean. My sister-in law told me whenever they have an issue, maintenance is very quick to fix it. We didn’t have a problem with finding a parking spot at all the time that we were there. I would highly recommend Gateway Park Apartments!
I wish that i could give Gateway Park Apartments a 20 Star Rating. The Front Office Team of Marina and Denisse are very professional and friendly. The maintenace crew, Joel and Ed are also Professional and responsive if their is a issue to be taken care of. We really love staying at this property because it is well kept. Fantastic Team and Great Property!!!!!!!! I would like to thank the Amazing Team at Gateway Park Apartments, They have been very supportive through these trying times because of Covid -19, Marina, Denise, Joel and Ed have been Professional, Supportive and understanding through these tough times, they are a Amazing Team which makes it easier to deal with. Thanks again for all of your support and communication!!!!!!!
Horrible horrible apartments. You have to pay for parking every single month and then they never have parking so your car will instantly get towed. Which then you need to pay $250 to get it out. And on top of that they are constantly adding hidden frees to our rent. It was supposed to be $1791 and we have been paying over 2,000!!! With a water bill never being lower then $150 IN AN APARTMENT THAT WATER BILL IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!! It varies from $150 to $220!! I am super heart broken I made the decision to move here 😔 please DO NOT make the same mistake I did. Read all of these reviews!!!! Really it should get a negative amount of stars 😡😡
The property has great potential. My apartment has been renovated looks very nice. On the other had I can tell that the quality of tenants has declined in my opinion. There is dog waste in the grass all over the property. Im not talking about the migratory geese. The parking is terrible at best. The management has tried to address this issue by having unregistered cars towed. Many nights I get to the property late at night and cant find any parking. In October Im out.
The ladies in the office are amazing and super helpful!!
My wife and I lived there for a little over two years. The apartments are nice and can be quiet, the location is central and close to the airport, the lake is nice to walk around on nice days. Parking after certain times was horrible and nearly impossible to find, efforts have been made to improve this but they seemed fruitless. Some residents drive way too fast through the complex, someone is going to get hurt at some point. Management was always friendly and helpful, maintenance requests were answered fairly quick, all in all its a nice place to live for a short time. Two years may have been a little too long though.
Denise was beyond professional and exceptionally helpful with all of my needs, especially considering I wasnt the happiest about the situation. Thank you, Denise, you are the best!
Ladies in the office are super nice. Maintenance works hard. Lake is nice.
I appreciate the staff they are so courteous and professional. Ken from the maintenance team is extremely professional, we need a lot more staff members like the current staff that love their job, and make sure that if something is not right it gets corrected in a timely manner. Thank you again!
Since we moving here couple days ago, we had some troubles in our unit, the maintenance team doing great job, thanks for Daniel and Joel. And Dennise help us for all paperwork, good job guys.Just one thing, please manage for parking space, my husband always back from work at night and took 15 minutes to get parking space. If there is not problem at parking space, I will give you 5 stars. Beside that all is GOOD!!
Most beautiful property in Denver with lake, birds of many species, walking path around the lake, dog friendly and trash bags and receptacle, and small dog park. Issues although, garbage is rampant in common areas, and secure gates a constant issue.Clientele has downgraded for sure and maintenance is lacking. Have been here five years and didn’t want to move, but fed up with the lower standards of both issues. Very sad.
Maintenance has been great. Just moved in and they resolved the issues I noticed when I moved in and had put on the tenants inspection report. The office staff has been attentive and helpful.
Compared to where I moved from, I love it!!! My neighbors are awesome! They introduced themselves to me. Made me feel welcome as I was moving in. I put in a work order and it was completed within the week! Everyone in the front office is kind and friendly!
I counted down the days until my lease was up! Management is amazing at blowing smoke and saying whatever you want to hear. I dont think theyve followed through once. The gates been broken for months and vehicles have been stolen. There is never any parking. Multiple apartments have to have like eight plus people in them with multiple vehicles that never get towed even when you call the tow company. They charge you nearly 200 a month on fees related to maintenance or convenience that you will never see in your life time being put to use. One fee literally says they can charge you for cost of professional management of the apartment community.... thats the C.A.M. fee if your interested in looking at the addendum. I beg of you do not give AMC your money and your life will be so much better off.
I lived at Gateway Park for 1.5 years. What I liked most about my apartment was the view of the mountains and lake, easy access to walking paths for my dog, and the amazing office staff. Shannon, Jordan and Alanya have been great to me and my fiance. They bent over backwards to help us work through concerns with our neighbor and were excellent at getting work orders executed in a timely fashion. Id recommend this complex for anyone looking in the Gateway Park/Green Valley Ranch area. Its the best in the neighborhood!
I enjoyed living at Gateway Park. As all apartments in Denver the cost of renting is increasing. Management does the best they can. Some residents like to break the gates coming and going from apartments.Love the green grass, they keep up the areas. We had a problem with raccoons. Not happy about how long it took for them to fix the problem. Other then the raccoon problem, it’s has been a nice place to live.
I have had an amazing experience here, the staff is so nice and helpful. I would totally recommend this place to everyone.
Absolutely terrible front office staff and service. Nearly impossible to reach them, rarely return calls or emails. Completely inflexible and very difficult to work with. Nice buildings in a safe setting, but the management and service are awful. Would never recommend.
DO NOT IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS YOU READ ON HERE! I lived in this apartment complex for a little over 15 months and halfway through my lease, they changed management for the worse. The new managers of Gateway are god-awful and do NOT know how to treat their customers or clients. Their #1 problem is that their staff does not all have the same knowledge on apartment contracts, management information, etc. If you ask the same question to staff members, each one will give you a different answer! They have NOT figured out how to NOTIFY GUESTS OF PACKAGES. I have had SO many packages lost or stolen because they allow companies to deliver and drop mail and packages in the mailroom unattended and people just steal and open them up! If someone sends you a package as a surprise, you probably wont ever know unless you asked because the staff wont notify you! If youre getting ready to terminate your lease with them, BE PREPARED TO WAIT A WHILE FOR YOUR REFUND/DEPOSIT. Staff takes forever to return funds and again, did NOT notify me that my check arrived (I had to check on it constantly!). The one star I can give is for the maintenance guys who were great even through the change of management. DO NOT EXPECT LUXURY APARTMENTS HERE. Be prepared to put up with awful management for the duration of your lease.
After you sign in lease be ready for big problems. after move out you will lose your security deposit for no reasons and for some not understandable charges.About 8 months ago me and my wife we moved out from this terrible place were used to live in apartment 126. Apartment smell really bad. smell bad refrigerator. I gave more than 10 requests to fix my AC unit and never was done. At winter time when using heater its terrible smell coming out of air fences. Maintenance guys they really dont know what they doing. Maintenance guys they have laser thermometer and always demonstrating how everything is perfect in this apartment but everything is lie. and office workers especially Ruby she looking for explanations only not for Solutions.
Despite what people say this place is awesome! New management has made better upgrades for appropriate pricing. Luxury at a reasonable price.
Love it here. Close to the airport for travel and within distance of the RTD to get down town. Staff is very friendly and maintenance is quick to resolve any issues.
Too costly or what you get. Apartments are very small and often painted over paint. The Apartments are generally dirty including the porches and front doors. Be prepared to loose your deposit despite thorough cleaning. Do not let the photos fool you...it is not that nice. Maintenance is generally good and quick. Although they do not show up when expected and will enter with just a quick knock. I would recommend looking around for a better deal. Price nearly doubled when we switched to a month to month contract. Parking is atrocious. Security is limited and the management is not responsible for any break ins or damage to property. Would not recommend to anyone.
Living here for 6 years and the experience is unique. The staff here is great, willing to work with you diligently, maintenance guys show up and do their work, trash gets dumped frequently now, and it’s a beautiful scenery to look at the lake. The con I would say is they’ll tow you in a heart beat. Sho make sure you get a garage wich is an extra $100.
You rent is advertised much cheaper in your website then what the rent really is maybe a $100 or $200 differences is okay but a $500 difference 😕 and when I called and told the lady that they where on the website for $800-$950 a month she said it’s not our website and but I just called off google and they connect the website, phone number and reviews so in my personal opinion they are not to be trusted.
If Gateway Apartments would like a better review than 1 star, consider changing parking policies. Guests here are not allowed to stay more than 10 times per month. If so, parking passes are required to be printed out each visit. Staff says its due to overcrowding. I say if overcrowding is an issue, invest in creating more parking vs. renovating the damn office which does not need renovating. Waste of money. I do not pay insanely high rent for the to spend money on that bullshit. Do not recommend this place.
ZERO STARS!!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! They may seem nice at first, but thats only because they want your money and under that mask, they are rude! They are not military friendly. Oh, youve been a loyal resident and renewed for years, never had a late payment, etc? They dont care and will never even try to help you out. When you decide you want or need to leave/move, they will try to milk you for all that youre worth and kick you on your way out the door. Please do not ignore the bad and true reviews or be distracted by the pretty lake....this place is not luxury, is falling apart and is ran by liars and hateful people! I regret every day that I have lived here!
Really bad management!!! Manager and assistant manager have no people skills whatsoever...I really like the property it’s beautiful but it’s office staff needs to upgrade, been here for 3 years and they really downgraded on the office staff.
Went there to get some information cause my current lease will be up soon and I was thinking about moving to Gateway apartments. Apparently the lady at the front desk wasnt in the mood to do her job. She just gave me a bunch of papers and that was it, I was not able to see the apartments cause they dont have models available (or at least thats what I was told) She didnt give me a tour either... I was very disappointed when I left the place. Now I understand all the bad reviews.
Worst place where I live in my life. This place deserve zero Stars.A/C unit Maintenance request wasnt done for 15 months Management worse in the planet supposed to work for free except Alanya I dont know if she still work there but she can be good manager of this place
Lived here for a 13-month lease and I’m all moved out so I thought I should give my honest review for anyone interested in moving in.The lake is excellent for strolling around, but don’t let that distract from all the annoyances that I had to deal with:The gate is FREQUENTLY broken. Sometimes for days at a time, but sometimes 3-4 weeks. I would estimate that it has been broken about 20% of the time that I have been here.It is your responsibility to check in with the front desk for packages. Only ONCE have I received a notification that they have received a package. Even worse, I have gone in at least 3 times to pick up a package (confirmed delivered by Amazon and/or USPS) and an employee has gone in the package room but not find it. I’ll come back later and a different employee will actually look for it and give it to me, saying it has been there for a few days… Amazing!!I have had a packages lost/stolen at least once I have been here. I assume it has something to do with the gate being frequently open/broken. The mail room does not have a working lock. You can just push it open, so the room is basically open to the public. The facilities (workout room and business center) were closed for maintenance starting in January and did not reopen until about June. I’m not sure exactly when they opened because they did not notify anyone. I got a gym membership for that time. You think they would take the fees out for facilities we weren’t using, right? No..The place was LITTERED with trash, dog poop, and a lot of bird poop. The stairs leading up to my apartment would collect garbage that just blew around. Goose poop is EVERYWHERE during the winter and spring, making it almost impossible to use the sidewalk without stepping on any.We had maintenance come in twice to fix our washer and dryer. It went from not working, to barely working, to didn’t get better, so we didn’t bother again. Washer doesn’t have a good spin cycle, so the clothes are pretty damp when they come out; and the dryer takes quite a while to get clothes sufficiently dry, even small loads. We had to give a 60 day notice before moving out, otherwise you go month-to-month. Yes, it was in the lease agreement, but it would have been nice to get notified around the 60 day mark. So we were 50 days from when we actually wanted to move out before we realized that we had to go in and fill a form. The last straw is that we are ended our lease in the middle of last month, but our billing statement wanted a full month’s rent from us. Nobody in the office could fix this, so we had to wait until the manager showed up on Tuesday. If we didnt pay by noon on Tuesday, we had to pay late fees. So I had to take time off work to take care of it...Finally, please make sure you read your lease VERY thoroughly. They charge $125 to paint the walls and $60 to clean the carpets when you move out. It doesn’t matter if you left the apartment in perfect condition, you are still getting charged.Overall… not happy with what we got for the price we paid and all the inconveniences we had to deal with.
Ruby have to be fired she no good for manager. Alanya the best person for being manager of this place. With new maintenance guys this place is getting better. One day and they fix whatever you need. I started love this place again :) and good parking policy. Tow away more vehicles which one dont belong at this property :)
Worst place in this area 0 Stars dont move here management is really rude except Alanya she really nice person.Maintenance request never done and parking always jammed you have to park your vehicle close to main office. Dogs poop everywhere
Worst new management ever. I have been calling since Thursday for someone to come fix my sink but I haven’t been able to get anyone on the phone. If I could give you a 0 I would. You guys never email me when I have a package even though I’ve given you my email TWICE. You don’t have enough parking spots for all your tenants & than you TOW them when they park behind their significant others car. The pool is ALWAYS disgusting. How am I supposed to enjoy my “amenities” when you guys can’t do your job right.
Wanted to stay at these nice looking apartments, but after discussing things with a rude staff member who told me about the list of breed restrictions (pitbulls, malamutes, etc.) I decided to go elsewhere. Ive heard from many friends that these apartments are attractive on the inside but the staff with stab you in the back and gut you for everything you have. Once you sign the lease these nice people turn into evil monsters.
Management needs to do something about the trash. These apartments are great, the lake view is gorgeous, but it really all takes a turn when the parking lot and grassy areas are covered in trash. This is not an exaggeration. The dumpsters are overflowing with trash and old furniture and it stays that way for days- causing the trash to blow into the parking lot and grass. It’s absolutely disgusting, and management continues to make excuses for the situation rather than taking care of it. Their excuses are legitimate- they say they’re understaffed and that there are raccoons on the property mixing up the trash- but they’re still excuses. Take ownership of the situation and see to it that it actually gets taken care of, and make sure to sustain a clean environment. Good management means overcoming obstacles (like staffing and raccoons) to get to a resolution (consistently clean property).
The Property is well kept, the staff is very friendly and attentive to my needs. I have had some maintenance issues in my apartment and when I call to report them they are always nice and send out maintenace to fix it.
Since new management has step in. Things are alot better. More organized and responsive. I have refferred several people, who are now residents.
Lived here for over a year and absolutely could not wait to leave. Should have known from the beginning when we were told we would have one unit and got switched to another at move in.Maintenance left us without smoke detectors in our unit for nearly half the time we lived there. Left a note on a napkin they would replace the following day. Also had a flood in the middle of the night. Completely flooded a bathroom, bedroom, and half the living room. On call maintenance advised is to turn the water off and they would come in the morning to inspect. We spent almost 5 hours with standing toilet water in our apartment! Then, at move out, they tried to blame is for the poorly repaired, post flood carpet.8 parking spots and a handful of garages for rent for 32 apartments. I would regularly send pictures of illegally parked cars with no parking permits, expired plates, flat tires... but nothing was done by management except to have another resident call the police on me for looking suspicious taking pictures of vehicles. Even with a handicap placard, most nights would have to park 3-4 buildings away from mine or at the office. Definitely not a place to consider if you have any type of walking restriction. Also, the 2br apartment next door had at minimum 10 people living in it with multiple pets as well. For the price, expected a lot and got none of it. Find somewhere else to live if at all possible.
Rent is way to expensive for what you get. They are decent apartments. Theyll try to wow you with new facilities but that is the best they can do.Dont be fooled by the lake either- its about the grossest body of water you can find around here. There is no community here so dont expect friendly neighbors. People are polite, but it is hard to find anyone willing to talk much outside of a hello. That being said, I never had problems with noise.. its quiet here. Very very quiet. Also no one has ever been rude or unpleasant to me.I lived here not knowing for sure where I would be working and ended up with a job in downtown Denver. The commute down 70 is horrible and for what you pay here, this is in no way a good location for that. Its also close to nothing of any interest or value.Still, the staff is pretty relaxed. They like to send a lot of passive aggressive emails about issues here, usually only about parking. But everyone ignores them because it doesnt really matter and the parking fills up pretty bad at night so of course people will park by the red curb.Wouldnt recommend, but it isnt the worst.
Very nice people. Very helpful. I would definetly recommend this place to others.
The complex as a whole is generally nice but the grounds are not kept as clean as when I moved in2 years ago. The parking areas are never cleaned and are in need of repair. The office staff is always friendly and helpful and the maintenance requests are always filled in timely manner. For the price of the apartments the appliances and cabinets need to be updated.
Just moved in a few days ago and I already wish I didnt sign a lease here. The parking is horrible there is no designated visitor parking so it is always full by the time I get home at night. The only other option is to buy a garage for 90$ a month like we dont already pay a lot for not so nice apartments. We came 2 weeks before we were suppose to move in and there were bugs everywhere and she said she would put in a request for it to be sprayed. When we moved in there was still bugs everywhere and in the same spot they were when we came to visit so it was obviously not sprayed or cleaned before we moved in. I advise not signing a lease here!
Worst pick ever— run before is too late — Our first month we spend there was so disappointed washer and dryer broke for 3 months and microwave for the first month was not even working. When they came to fix it they scratch all the walls and we still waiting for repair. Trash is everywhere- not enough parking- management don’t answer for damage in your car made by yard workers hired by them not take actions after incidents of dog attacks in their dog park —- also have a raccoon problem you can hear them in your attics or when you throw the trash —- too pricey for the quality provided and overall enjoyment-
Jessica E. was informative and patient with us through the moving process. We appreciated their directness and ability to work with us through our transition. Thanks Gateway Park Apartments!
Great place to live, nice surroundings. The staff is awesome, they help you right away.If you are looking to rent look no further!
Maintenance staff did a great job, not so much on the management sideManagement is doing a whole lot better job than past management.
I lived here for over 5 years and trust that these reviews are a joke! Truth be told, I have never witnessed any bugs never and dont have any complaints of my neighbors! Have you noticed the surrounding areas? We are not the only victims of car vandalism!! This is taking place all over the city. Come and talk to the office staff yourself they are super nice all the time (especially Alayana && shout out to Shannon I miss you!) Its beautiful over here, clean and quiet
I currently live here, my 15 month lease is up in three weeks. And, lets just say Ive never been happier! Every time I have a compliant the leasing office cant do anything. If I post something on the resident website, expressing my concerns, it gets deleted by corporate. I just came home to my daughters bike being stolen from our balcony, again they did nothing and deleted my post off the website. To renew my lease my rent was going up more than $100 and they wanted almost double the money to do a month to month. So glad I am almost done with my lease, DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all!
My candid advice is to RUN!The staff is extremely nice, however, the community has gone down hill. Loud neighbors, paper thin walls, car theft and burglaries, and a recent shooting outside my complex.I would recommend moving to the other side of town, and avoid this area all together. Also, you are locked into your lease, so trying to break it so you can move to a safer place is out of the question. Ive lost a lot of sleep and sanity, and I am counting down the days to my move out date! The staff can only do so much, and they really have been excellent.
Got into a car accident and had to get a rental car, after one night the office decided it needed to be towed out of a parking spot. Other cars are constantly parked in no parking spaces overnight due to low parking availability and left all night.
My mother lives here. The staff is very nice and hard working. The property is very nice and the upkeep is done nicely.
Worse place ever. To start off staff can’t explain nothing right. They say your paying just trash and water and end up paying around 140-170 in hidden fees !!! I wouldn’t recommend this complex to anyone lived here a year and glad my lease ended.
Office staff is really nice and helpful
The grounds keeper there is Amazing I believe his name is Ariel and I gotta say he does a splendid job!
Drive through and thought it was a really nice property plus the pools look nice also. Really thinking about moving here!
I’ve had the chance to speak with Ariel on a few occasions, such a humble human being and he’s such a hard worker definitely one of your top employees.
Staff are Amazing and make everthing easy and they worked with me and my credit issues and I appreciate it thanks a million
Really caring staff and have great communication and they take the time to work with you.
My fiance got a new job in Denver so we are relocating from Texas. As this can be extremely stressful, Brenda has been more than amazing in making this process everything but that! Thank you!!
Very expensive for not very nice apartments. This place looks so nice from the outside but look closely and you will see they are not nice at all. The maintenance team is terrible and dont fix things at all. It seemed like for the first month that I lived there, I was always down at the office putting in maintenance requests. My A.C. unit never got fixed and for the whole year I lived there it never worked, even though they came by to fix it 9 times. The same for my ice maker, dish washer and fireplace. I took them 3 months to finally fix my ice maker. Also, because I have 2 dogs, I had to make appointments for the maintenance team to come, which is fine because I would rather be there. However, they did not make one appointment and when they would show up and I would not be there, it was my fault and I had to wait and make another appointment. The front office is so rude and nothing is ever their fault it was always mine. They do have a beautiful walk way around the lake but no one in forces the lease rule and my dog was attacked twice. When I reported it to the front office, nothing happened. Also, there are red wing black birds that live all around the lake and in the summer, they become very territorial and I was attacked twice by them. I know that is not gateways fault but it just makes it scary to walk around the lake during the summer. No one in forces the rules and its just not a nice place to live. Thank god my lease is up and I get to move.
As previously mentioned by other commentators the price is way too high for the quality of the apartments. The walls feel this as I can hear everything my neighbors are doing, the insulation is poor (indicated by such a high heat bill), and difficult to sleep due to the hundreds of geese that flock to the ponds right outside of so many peoples windows. The parking situation is horrible. There are not enough spaces per units and the office staff will gladly have you towed away if not parked in a real parking spot. Its not enough that units are already expensive, but they benefit from the nearly $300 bail fee to get your car from Wyatts towing. To make it better - the very nice lady in the front office compared it to parking downtown.Maintenance is slow...very slow. A request put in 2 months ago still has not been resolved and the issues continue to pile with no help or concern from the front office.Overall, do not be fooled by the pleasing aesthetic properties. The place needs a serious attitude adjustment.
If you wanna pay a high price and can’t even enjoy the accommodations because the pool and hot tub is either broken or the pool area is closed. Smh
Not sure it sounds like people have loud neighbors- we are on a top floor facing the water- view is beautiful, staff is awesome and maintenance requests always done on time. The price- well apartment living is expensive right now due to the influx of new people coming to Colorado- same with the cost of buying a home now. The grounds are super well kept and even though a lot of people have dogs there is only mainly goose poop to worry about. Really close location to the highway from which you can get pretty much everywhere including down town within 15 minutes. Jordan and Alanya are super cool and in general i think you get what you pay for. If you want to pay $800 for a two bedroom you need to move farther away. The ONLY crappy thing is just the parking situation sucks pretty much all the time. Hopefully they will rebuild the parking lot or strictly enforce some type of parking permit. Other than that, good community.
Would definitely recommend these apartments! Very quiet, modern, friendly staff.
I have been living here for a good while and the property is beautiful but the new management is the worst ever!
Ive lived here 4 years and have had an overall great experience. Front desk staff are nice, landscaping is great and my maintenance requests are always done within 2 days (usually 1)!
Great place! Staff was always courteous and professional with me. Loved the apartment
There is no parking. They have more renters than parking spaces. Management will do nothing about it. So be prepared to find parking outside of the gates..
We just moved out from this apartments .Spiders everywhere ventilation system is dusti.AC doesnt work maintenance request take forever.A really nasty apartments. And all neighbors they have the same problem. Before you signed contract with this apartment complex management will be nice to you after a signed contract they will be rude to you. This place so pricey doesnt worthless this price. Parking policies you will figure it out...
WORST NEW MANAGEMENT EVER! They have no people skills they are not qualified to run an apartment complex, my fridge broke down and it took them a week to bring me in a new one! I had to throw all my food away, every time it snows the side walks are full of snow and icy. Really bad maintance as well!
Thank you for u service it really good area and safety place
Worst place I have ever lived in my life. Trash everywhere. Over the summer Someone dumped all their trash out on the lawn and it sat for a week before someone finally cleaned it up. You can’t even get to dumpster to throw your trash away as there is so much trash blocking it.I had to have maintaince come 4 times to fix my dryer and it sort of works now.Ohh and yes my lease ends mid month yet they are still charging me for a whole entire month !!And no one in maganent even cares at all !!!!Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place !!!There are much better places to stay in the area !
FAKE REVIEWS DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! The reviews that show anything other than 1 star are fake or paid for (really easy to fake). Every person at the complex I have spoken to hates living there and only did so because the rent was cheap. Now the rent is above or equal to WAY better complexes (including downtown Denver) and there should be no reason that any person puts up with the poor quality of Gateway Park. I have lived in 4 states, 8 cites, and 9 complexes including 3 in Colorado and this is the only review I have ever written...that is how awful this place is. I will highlight the big issues and why you should avoid this pathetic complex. Our AC has been broken since the day we moved in. We had them try and fix it 5 times before giving up and just dealing with it. We called a real AC company, its a condenser issue, told gateway park, they still cant fix it LOL.The garage we rented had a broken door and would open randomly. They did not fix it. Had to move garages.Over 10 cars have been stolen since we moved in, that is why we pay for a garage. You are NEVER EVER notified if you have a package. Doesnt matter if the front desk receives it or if they leave it at your door, nobody will ever tell you and I guarantee your package will be stolen. When it is stolen, the front desk will say they have nothing to do with it and cannot help. Send your packages anywhere but your own complex...The front gate is useless and always broken. Ask yourself, why would I live in a gated community that has cars stolen every month? Our fireplace has been broken since they day we moved in. Our kitchen light broke, was fixed 5 days later after calling 3 times to remind them I am cooking in the dark. It is still not working. Front office and maintenance people must work for free.Your lease automatically renews to month to month. They will not notify you, they do not send anything to let you know you are about to enter 60 day grace period, nothing. I have never lived in a complex that did not send an are you staying or leaving notice at your 60 day mark. At gateway you have to ask for the 60 day notice paperwork...then when you fill it out and submit it, the front desk people will lose it or forget it and then they will try and keep you on month to month stating you are beyond your 60 day window. Again, do they work for free?Theres geese poop everywhere. The trash can is destroyed by raccoons and nobody cleans it up ever. People leave couches by the trashcan. The quality of people, service, amenities, etc is second to only a few dreary places in Houston and Odessa Texas.Oh there is also no parking. Then again, who needs parking when your car is probably going to be stolen? If you are dumb enough to live here then you deserve it, I shouldve listened to the actual reviews and skipped the fake one-sentence paid for reviews. This places deserves less than 1 star....
We just moved out from this horrible place.Be prepared to lose your security deposit at time move out. Maintenance request for 15 months was ignore it to fix my AC unit in my apartment. Any maintenance request management looking for explanations but not for SolutionsNot enough parking spaces after 4 p.m. its all clogged up you cant park your vehicle near your apartment at all. I dont recommend this place to anyone just look around you can find a lot cheaper and a lot better deal. Alanya supposed to be manager of this place because she really good person and will be really good General manager five stars for Alanya.Ruby and Marcella supposed to be fired this ladies know only how to take your security deposit and for ridiculous explanations about why maintenance request cannot be completed
We lived here from 2015-2017 I think over all I didn’t have many complaints other than parking we got a garage I think the price was a little outrageous but still could offord it but nothing big to complain Over all great.
We hate this place! ZERO STARS! Our lease ends in January and if they said we could move out tomorrow we would! Everything that has been said is true! The complex is absolutely disgusting there’s bird poop all over the stair cases, doors, windows, etc. I have asked 3 times for them to come and power wash outside our door it’s disgusting and embarrassing when guests come over. The trash bin by building 12 was overfilling for over a week and made the entire parking lot stink. And they never go and check the dog poop stations so they are out of bags and/or the trash is filled with poop. Bottom line it’s so unsanitary!
I hate this place I hate management except Alanya she have to be manager of this Apartments and I believe with a her this Apartments 100% will be better. and hate parking lot this is not Luxury Apartments it is just over price it place
I wouldnt recommend GATEWAY PARK APARTMENTS to my worst enemy. Dont move in these apartments if it was your last resort. The management sucks. AMC has so many hidden fees and doesnt accommodate there tenants. I can never find parking ever!!!!!!!! Dont move here!!!!
Before you move in Make sure A/C inside apartment working. For 15 months my requests to fix my A/c was ignored. Think twice before you sign a lease. Pay attention for bad reviews...
This place was an absolute nightmare. It looks nice from the outside and the apartments are remodeled. I lived here for 14 months. Out of that 14 months the amenities (fitness center, business center, and pool) were available to me for a combined total of 6 months. They dont monitor parking so if you come home from work late good luck finding a place to park. The gate is either left open, or broken so not much security in your gated complex. If you have a maintenance issue or really any other type of issue related to your apartment be prepared to chase down the management and wait an average of a month and a half to see any repairs.Oh, and youll likely get hosed when you move out for repair charges you didnt actually incur. There were multiple thefts during my time here and not once did management alert the residents of this so that we could take proper precautions. The double deadbolt should have alerted me when I moved in!
Great place to live! Office staff is very friendly!
Okay first of all I wanna say I been here for about 6 years and I CANT WAIT TO MOVE let me start by saying ruby NEEDS TO GO!!!!!. She is very rude Alayna needs to get promoted to manger shes so nice 10 stars for her...so I believe they charge way tooooo much for a 1 bedroom when I first got here I was only paying 995 now Im paying 1200 can you say RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR A ONE BED...mantence suck man I can stand these apartments toooo many bugs man birds nest in the hallways yuck.. They need to rethink how things parking SUCK....and Im not about to pay for a garage and pay more I got three mouths to feed they need to change somethings before these apartments go out of bis..
