I love how beautiful my nails look after each visit. The salon has a calm atmosphere and I really appreciate the attention to detail. Teddy is an artist.

WORST EXPERIENCE YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE!! I went to this nail shop based on a referral from my client. She said she had gone here to see Owner/Nail Tech Teddy for years. The first visit with Teddy, I got the Crome nails (pictured) literally a day after getting them done they were peeling off. Went back in to get it fixed and he told me to be more careful whatever that means. (Note: They dont have enough techs working there. 2 for nails 1 for pedi area. So youre going to wait at least 2 hours to be seen even if you make an appointment.) Second visit, no more than 2 weeks after I came back to give it a try again for the Crome nails this time platinum. SAME THING HAPPENS AGAIN!!! I called to tell them and set an appointment for the morning of my bday at 9am when the shop opens. Got there at 9am and the doors were locked!! I called 4 times and nobody answered! I decided to wait in my car and continue to call. I noticed one of the nail techs trying to get in so I got out my car to let her know I was there waiting for my appointment and she herself was locked out and didnt know what was going on. I left her my number and told her to call once they figured it out. I didnt get a call until 4 hours later and by that time I couldnt come in. I came back in 2 days later and was immediately treated rudely once I walked in the door. Teddy was working on another Techs nails and made me wait an hour to even seat me to get my nails done and still had me waiting in the chair 30 mins. I politely asked him how much longer it will be and he yelled IM WITH A CUSTOMER (the nail tech who works there) AND I CAN WAIT at this point I am floored that I was spoken to that way being a paying customer. I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE GO TO THIS NAIL SALON EVER AGAIN AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONW ELSE GOING HERE EITHER. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!! LITERALLY NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR ALL OF MY INCONVENIENCES!

Gloss is a great spot to get your nails done! They have a friendly staff and the store build out/decoration is nicer than your average nail salon. Parking can be tight. There are a few spots right in front of the store but if those are full you just have to park in the back. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

I love this place! I been going there for a little over 6 years now! Unlike your typical Nile shop this place is as calm as it can get and the customer service I just love the product and how good they are with what they do is amazing. I highly recommend it, once you step a foot there you can go anywhere else that’s the only problem :)

Wonderful atmosphere, very friendly, and inviting. I have been several times and never had ANY bad experiences. Hands down the best manicure I have ever gotten in my life. Teddy and the team do an outstanding job, I will continue to go here as long as I live in Texas!!!

This Salon is under new management. The bad reviews on here all stem from the previous ownership. The new owner Teddy is one of the nicest and most genuine persons I have had the fortune of knowing. He handles his customers with the utmost care and sincerity. The salon is completely remodeled, impeccably clean, and staffed with awesome and talented professionals! Give them a try, I guarantee you will love Gloss Nails!

Spent 2 1/2 hours here for a not great pedicure and manicure. Also, the lady doing my manicure was actually falling asleep while doing it. At one point she stopped what she was doing completely and had her eyes closed while in the middle of filing my nails. It was also not nearly as clean as most of the nail salons I’ve been to.

I have been going to Kim (owner / operator) for over 3 years, since I moved to Dallas. I am loyal because Kim is (a) the best and (b) loyal to her customers. Everytime I go I am treated like family, and I know Gloss other regular customers feel the same way. They have a great selection of colors and products, her team are perfectionists, and they do a great job with the leg and arm massages (where I know other places normally skimp out). I highly recommend Glos nails!

Monday - Thursday you get 15% off your manicure and pedicure. This place is still a bit pricey, but 100% worth it. I recently relocated from Austin and have been searching for that one nail place. I will definitely be going here in the future.

Teddy the owner is rude, from the first time I met him, I was whistling a song that was on and he thought I was blowing in his face to be rude and he overreacted to the situation.. Never sat with him again.. This past week I went in there w/ an app to get a mani pedi.. Yes I needed a fill and worded it wrong.. Got in there at 4pm they closed at five... They left the stuff on my nails too long and my acrylic dissolved.. At 6:00 I asked them if they could just take all my nails off because I was ready to go and they were ignoring me... By 7 teddy and a apprentice are the only ones in the building other than me.. Still not getting service he finally gets the new guy to take off my nails.. You can tell he has no idea what hes doing... Finally at 7:30 teddy comes and does a 3 minute job of taking my nails off that could of been done hours ago... I left at 8pm with rough feet and dead skin from my gel pedicure, no lip wax, and natural nails with a clear coat for60$ 4 hours of getting treated like I didnt exist.. I will never give them my money again.. O hard to find a consistent nail salon... This one judges and stereotypes their customers!!

Peter is extremely rude and rushes through everything. They only have one person who can do acrylic and dip. My nails looks like crap and when I told him I didnt like it he yelled at me in front of everyone. He is extremely volatile and unprofessional. Do not get your nails done here.

I travel for work and at times treat myself at a local business. this place was fabulous! if you are ever in Dallas around the downtown area, head over to Gloss for a spectacular mani/pedi experience!

I absolutely love this nail salon! I love Teddy and Peter and all the staff!! No argument they are amazing at what they do which is why I have been going here for 3 years! 5 stars on the product! Sadly, over the past 3 years of going there, more often than not,they cannot seem to honor an appointment time which is the 1 star here. I understand, as a service provider myself, there are days when you can run 15 min late. On rare occasions, 30 min due to unexpected circumstances. But here, 50 percent of the time, anticipate a wait of 30 min to an hour plus for a scheduled appnt. It appears to be because they dont have enough staff and now they have 2 locations, however, it is indeed not fair to the customers who have appointments. I know it is equally frustrating for Teddy and Peter and all the staff who are doing the best they can!!! Most of the time I wait it out and end up spending up to 2 hours plus of my time at a nail salon which makes me late for other scheduled things in my day and as one can relate, takes away from what would be a relaxing time. I wait because as shared I really love them and they are by far, the best at what they do! Unfortunately today I could not wait due to a doctors appointment. I could not be late for that appnt. because that Dr. office would not take me if I ran 15 min late and I needed to pick up a prescription (they close early on Fridays for the weekend.) I even tried to pad time to allow for the Gloss run late history but it didnt work out. I felt terrible leaving Peter because he was trying to finish his client with his usual excellent result. I just didnt have a choice this time. I write this review only to alert customers who have busy life styles and have schedules they need to adhere to, of what to expect at Gloss. Teddy and Peter are rare talents!I used to get upset and frustrated but how can I get upset when they are doing the best they can and this is just how it is at this sweet nail salon? As shared, I write this review out of respect for the business and also for the clients so you wont be surprised or angry if and when you have to wait 30 min to an hour for a scheduled appointment. I unfortunately dont always have the luxury of waiting like today but this salon is still quite special to me!

I had never been to this nail salon before but I decided to try it out based on the reviews. I was new to getting my nails done and I had a positive experience with a nail salon in Austin who used SNS/NexGen on my nails. I called Gloss and asked if they used SNS. I was told Yes! So I made an appointment, went in, and a lady did my nails.I have no complaints about the service. She was very nice and my nails looked great. However, at the end she put my nails under UV light. Uhhhh what? Immediately I knew this wasnt right because the other nail salon didnt do that. I paid and went on my merry way. Once I got home, I did some research and found that youre definitely not supposed to use the UV light with SNS or NexGen. I thought, Well maybe its because she was in a hurry. I decided to give them a second chance.I booked during a non-busy time and sat down with a guy. He was very nice and social. He did my nails and they looked ok. I could tell he was a little newer. Once again, he used the UV light on my nails. I knew then that they werent using the system I had asked for. I paid and decided to see how these would hold up.No joke, less than a week and a half later, my nails broke! This was applied on my real nail and they began to chip and crack. It actually hurt my nail. I went to the nail salon that I used to go to as a kid and the manager was horrified when she saw my nails. She then asked, Did they use the UV light on your nails? I told her that they did. She then informed me that they were using cheap product on my nails. As she was taking them off, she just kept shaking her head. Never again!They get 2 stars because I did receive good service in that my nails generally looked good. I docked 3 because they were using cheap product and then charging me like they were using the expensive kind. From now on, Im going to make the trip to my old nail salon. No sense in spending my money here.

Went in for M&P. Was told 5 minutes. 40 minutes later I left. They had four technicians there working on 2 customers while I sat in water for 40 minutes. How rude!!!
