My niece had an enjoyable visit there and was very satisfied with her nails (the clear and pink ones). The technicians were very careful to remove any debris from the underneath of the nail which I really appreciate. Her set cost $75My experience was different. I wasn’t pleased with the final shape or execution of the design on my nails. The manager offered to redo my nails but after learning that they did not have the stiletto tips I was looking for, I asked for a full refund instead. I was told I wouldn’t be able to receive one because the service was already rendered. We compromised and I was given a partial refund. My set (the one with the outline) cost $80, took a little over 2 hours, and I was given a $5 discount.If you go, try to have cash, it’s the tipping preference for the technicians.

I really did not like my experience here. My feet are fine but I do not like my nails. I don’t like how you can see my last set through my new set because the old set wasn’t shaped down enough. I don’t like how I asked for a specific design that they said “couldn’t be done with regular polish” it’s literally just line work. So I said okay I’ll do gel. Then they couldn’t find a gel that matched the color of my feet. So I ended up getting regular polish. I absolutely hate my nails! Now I have to find a new shop immediately to get this off.

The first time I came here the guy did my nails PERFECT! I came back 2 weeks later got a different guy who charged me for all kinds of things that I wasn’t charged for the first time. $5 for shape, $5 for tip, $20 for long nails, my nails are average length, the exact same length they were last time. I told the manager this, at least I think he was the manager and he immediately started yelling “If you don’t like it then don’t come back!” TERRIBLE experience and I will take his advice and not come back. $127 for nails that don’t even look good and horrible service. I repeatedly told the guy I wanted my nails thinner and instead they like bubblegum. Shape is horrible and some shapes don’t even match.Continued… I never refused to pay for my services… I simply wanted to discuss the charges that I was not told about beforehand. I paid for my services even after being yelled at in front of everyone and being told “Don’t come back”. Horrible treatment to a paying customer.

This place is awesome however the 3 stars will be for the horrible waxing received on my eyebrows & chin. Story time: I return the next day (Saturday) for my manicure and was asked if I would like to wax for eyebrows however it was supposedly done yesterday (Friday) that goes to show the horrible attempt the attendant did (she seems annoyed and I did not leave a tip for her). Myself & daughter enjoyed the service received when compared to their competitors. My pedicure with massage was exceptional and I did leave a generous tip.Lastly, the hostess is great and she really bring a lively feel to this location that young lady deserves a raise.We have been looking for a place and this is it for us just not for waxing.I highly recommend for manicure & pedicure needs.

I ONLY gave it a three stars because of Angie. She is the best, detailed and gentle. Everyone is rude including what I think is the owner. If he is, he should definitely work on treating his customers better. Unfortunately I got serviced by Kobe today and she rushed through my service and damaged my $40 gel service. If its time to go home then just go. Dont rush a service someone is spending their hard earned money on.

This was my first time at this nail shop & was very pleased with my nails! Lydia did EXACTLY what i asked & asked several times throughout the process, if i like the shape, length & dip color. I will definitely go back & ask for her.

Although I have liked the service of this location, the wait time has always been an issue even with an appointment.Today, I waited for over 15 minutes without anyone asking me if I needed anything. They sat someone next to me and attended them within 5 minutes of them walking in. I tried to give them several chances and every time it was the same thing. The previous times I waited 30 minutes plus with an appointment.I would rather drive a little further to get more timely service.

Was just in to get powder on my nails and I asked the nail tech to do almond shape on my nails. She did the almond shape then said it would be 5$ extra to cut my cuticles. Never have I ever had to pay extra to cut cuticles so I didn’t. Needless to say they look bad and she ended up charging me an extra 5$ for the almond shaping of which I wasn’t told would be an extra cost. Oh and I didn’t get my pedicure because they couldn’t get to me in a timely manner when I had scheduled them both. Very disappointed by my experience and will not go back.

Randomly came in out the blue. Im very picky about my nails but especially my pedi. They did a phenomenal job. Just a fair warning, theyll charge you for shape... Ill be back soon!

This was one of the worst experiences ever, I was there at 3 left out at 6. I seen multiple people get serviced before me. My toes messed up. I didn’t get the slides to put in so my toe polish is messed up. No one attentive at all. 110.00.My nails look good but service never again. First and last.

I just received the BEST manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had! Tracy did my nails and Tina #1 did my toes. Both of them were so precise, gentle, and went above what I expected. From the moment I walked in everyone was friendly. The establishment was clean and very nice. Their prices were also very reasonable, even a little cheaper than what I was expecting. I can’t wait to go back and will definitely recommend Tracy and Tina #1 to my friends and family.

Vee is amazing! Finally found a go-to manicurist who is GENTLE while still getting the job done well. I like to trim my own fingernails, so I only get pedicures and they are soo therapeutic and relaxing - especially with the warm paraffin wax treatment. My feet and body thank you! The complimentary drink and your choice of Netflix show are a nice touch.

I came here for the first time with my husband to get a pedi and I decided to also get gel nails for the first time. My manicurist made all my nails look bobbly and when I told her I didn’t like how bobbly they looked all she did was add another paint coat. Everybody was really nice and it looked very clean and pretty inside but I just wish they would of done a better job with my nails.

Customer service was great. Employees wore mask and they had protective shields at manicure tables and pedicure chairs. They offer complimentary drinks. Definitely will come back.

Lousy service. Refused to honor a fully paid gift certificate because it expired two days ago. During a pandemic year and Christmas week, they would rather rip off long term customers than show some integrity. Shop elsewhere, this business is crooked.

Unfinished nails due to owner, Tan, asking me to leave. On 8/11/19, I went in for Nexgen and gel pedicure on my toes. Around 1:00pm, I lifted up the pillow that my hands were resting on and realized that the pedicurist who had already walked away and started on the next client had used a bright purple instead of the light pink I had chosen. She never asked me if this was the color i picked which is normally a part of the process. Once the lady doing my nails was almost done (15-20 min later) she asked me if I would just keep the purple color on my toes and get the color I wanted the next time. I told her no, I will just pay for the pedicure but not the gel. She told the pedicurist who came over and then called the owner, Tan, over who told asked me to stay and get the gel taken off and reapplied. As you can see in the picture above, the only process remaining on my finger nails was two topcoats which takes MAYBE 5-8 minutes. I told him that wasn’t acceptable because my husband and three year old had already been waiting on me and I knew it would take another 30 minutes. He proceeded to go back and forth with me at which point I told him my husband would come talk to him. When my husband came over and reiterated what I said, he proceeded to try to take pictures of me on his phone, ask us to never come back and then called the police. Instead of accepting the responsibility what his employee did wrong and understanding that the requested service was not performed, he decided to insult us and assume that we just didn’t want to pay. Of course, that wasn’t the case at all and we paid and I tipped the manicurist although she didn’t get to finish my nails. Tan, you have so much to learn. The assumption that I wouldn’t want to pay was so far off from the truth and the disregard for my comfort and time, as a pregnant customer, was extremely off-putting. I apologize for raising my voice and disrupting the experience for any other customers but hopefully the women, that were there, understand my dissatisfaction and anger.

Booked appointment. Was 10 minutes early for my appointment with Tracy. Male manager Tan said she had someone else waiting for her and had to take that customer over me having an appointment with her at 130 . I said do you have someone else he said yes. I said I do not want to rush anyone so if you do not have anyone that is ok . He was super pushy about having someone available when no one was then he had me sit somewhere else and he came and said ok I just fill no shape???? And I was like ummm that is why I booked Tracy because she did it how I wanted last time ? I just walked out. Wasted my time.

The lady that did my nails didnt do a great job my nails of my left hand are less colored than the one of my right hand she also only applied one coat of matte and she was supposed to apply more never coming again

An honest review:I use to really love coming here. Tan always did an amazing job on my nails. He pays attention to detail and does my nails just the way I ask. I can’t say the same for some of the other techs. Most of the other ones I’ve experienced, I ended up not liking my nails. I havent seen the ones I don’t like in a while so perhaps they aren’t there anymore. If I cant get an appointment with Tan that fits my schedule then I’m always hesitant to go, as it may be a hit or miss depending on who is doing it. I wish they were all consistent so I could love my nails every time i go but I understand every tech has their own technique and style. Tan has also been late to a few of my appointments, BUUUUT I have seen his baby [who is probably less than a year old] in the salon so it’s completely understandable. He always apologized as well. If he is late, typically a nail tech starts soaking my nails off so it’s really not that big of a deal.The salon is beautiful. Always clean, and everyone is always kind and welcoming.Their pedicures are great. I cant remember the lady’s name who does my pedicures but I always ask for her if I see her when I’m there. I’ve never had a bad experience.Overall, in my opinion they are one of the best in the area. I’ll probably still continue to come here. I hope overtime I can get back to really loving the place and be able to give it a full 5 stars.

I was extremely upset with my first experience at Venice. Although the place was aesthetically pleasing, I found Tina to be extremely rude. I was hoping to treat my best friend to his fist pedicure, which although he enjoyed he was upset with the treatment we received. He had no idea what he was picking, she was pushing him for the most expensive package (Which I understand; however, no fond of). He turned to me and I picked the best package for him (he did enjoy the treatment). I was in the middle of have my nails done with another tech. Since Tina finished the pedicure before I finished she went ahead and brought me bill and rushed me to pull my card, which is lodged deep in my purse (Keep in mine I am in the MIDDLE of have my nails done). I was offended by her forceful nature. My second issue with this place was my nail set.Although I love the shape of my set I specially asked the tech to make my nails thin. I reminded the tech, and was told, “too thin will break”. Granted that might be the case; however, I’ve been getting gel dip for going on 2 years and I know exactly how I am looking for my nails to look.Although the place itself if very beautiful, the customer services isn’t up to par.

I love Venice! I initially started coming due to Tan a few years ago. The salon is always very clean, and this place is huge! The margaritas are a plus! Its one of the very few nail salons in the area that are not afraid of bold styles.

Went here for the first time. Got here at 6pm, and Tan worked on my nails until 7:45... and this place closes at 7. I have been going to Tan (the owner of Venice nails) for a very long time. I personally think I’m a very picky client because myself know a lot about nails and had also been in the industry as well. However Tan does a very good job and is willing to work with me on whatever and however I want them. I trust him as a nail tech and the salon itself is clean and tidy which is a very big plus too! To me Tan is probably the best nail tech in the area and I’m speaking on behave of tried out a lot of nail salons...and he gets booked fast!!!! Ugh !!!

My first time coming in and the aesthetic of the salon is so pleasing and its very clean inside. I came in at 6:30 and I left at 7:45 (they close at 7:30) my nails came out so pretty and were shaped very well and even though it was such little time to go get my nails done they came out perfect! First time visiting and all I was needing was a polish change/ manicure. There weren’t many new polish options to choose from so I asked the nail tech (mia) if she could test 2 colors on me so I can make a choice. She seemed very frustrated with my request and ended up painting a sloppy job. Before she began painting, I asked her if their manicure comes with hand massage/hot towel etc, like most places, and she tells me they do but she forgot. She then attempted to give me a 20 second hand Massage with a bunch of lotion. She did not thoroughly remove my previous nail polish even after I kept pointing it out. When she was finally done and it was time for me to dry my nails, the nail uv ray dryer was so dusty my hands where covered in dust and hair.. I’m upset I tried a new salon today...( this photo doesn’t even capture the amount of dust that’s actually there)

I adored my time with Tan! He was an absolute blessing. I loved his creative expression with my nails. That and the entire salon was super relaxing.

OMG where do I start. I love this nail salon. Clean, so clean and that is my biggest pet peeve. Nail techs are on top of it and very thorough. The owner Tan and his wife are awesome and will make sure you are pleased with you service or will correct it right away. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm hello and smile. I decided to get my nails and toes done...and they are SPECTACULAR!!

I always come here to get pedicures because they do a great job and are very clean. Two weeks ago I had them do a french gel manicure as well. Tiffany did my nails and they looked absolutely amazing! I have never had a better gel manicure!

Everyone here is so friendly! Good prices. Very clean, they also have rooms if you want to book groups of 4. Friends is always playing on TV! 😊

Tan is Terrible!!! Ive been coming to this location for over a year now and Ive never had a bad experience with any of the nail technicians. Unfortunately, that all changed today when I got my my nails done by Tan for the first time. He was so rude and dismissive during the entire process and when I asked him a simple question about a nail polish color that I normally get, his response was so condescending and dismissive that I initially thought he was just kidding around. I realized that was not the case as I continued asking him simple questions about the color of the nail polish that he recommended would suit me better. He seemed to be more interested in jumping into another conversation that was ongoing between another client and the nail technician that were seated next to us. I mentioned to him how disappointed my experience was with him but he was so unbothered and just smirked and when I told him that I will no longer be coming back despite the length of time Ive been a customer. Just to make matters worse, I get home and realize how some of my nails have been filed too low than the others and are noticeably uneven. I really enjoyed getting my nails done by Tony and Holly but unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this location thanks to Tan!!!

I have been going there for years and they used to be a good place. I have even taken family and friends to the salon. The quality of service has really gone down. They used to have really good employees, now they are always shorthanded. I took my oldest sister that was visiting from out of town. I ended up with the guy doing my pedicure. He did a lousy job. He is really rough because I had to let him know he was hurting me when massaging my feet. He has done a manicure before and the massage he gave me on my arms left me bruised the next day. It really hurt and it was not relaxing at all. Make sure to also check your total because I have picked out the $45.00 pedicure and they charged me $50.00 until I noticed and I spoke with the manager. Her explanation was that the tech was probably adding the tip on the bill.

I wish I wouldve read the reviews before going to this place. I thought I would really like it here but after the money I spent and the quality I got, I doubt Ill return. When I showed the lady what I wanted done she seemed to not understand what I was talking about. The design I was wanted and asked for show black diamonds in it. She finally had someone tell her what I was talking about. After about 2 hrs of sitting there she had someone else put the diamonds on my nails. 24 hrs later this is the result. As you can see, the finger with the diamonds has turned brownish/blackish. I have never seen this before and I am a regular with NexGen. Hopefully, this helps others in determining whether you want to come here or not.Update: I went back to have my diamonds fixed. Tan, the owner, fixed it and made it better. The color of the nail is not the same shade as the others but it doesnt have the brown/black stains anymore, which is a relief especially when you always have people staring at them.

Initially I was very excited about trying this nail salon based on the instagram picture. I showed them exactly what I wanted and the shape. My nails are thick, misshapen and different lengths. I even informed the nail tech that my pinky nail was crooked and she didn’t fix it. She only simply tried to shape it instead of taking it off. This is before any powder was applied. Paid $130 with tip and this is ridiculous. People charge this much and don’t sent there people to training to stay up to standards with the industry.

Came here about a week ago, well one of my nails broke off. I called today and the receptionist was once again SO nice and professional. No questions asked, she just told me to come in to get it fixed. I went in, she remembered why I was there once I showed her my nail.Tan, the owner, immediately took care of me and fixed my nail.Idk where the horrible reviews are coming from about them not backing up there work or bad customer service...that is not at all what I experienced. They were so knowledgeable and welcoming, even to my TWO kids❤❤Oh and this is coming from someone who never gets her nails done but Im so thankful I finally found a place that makes me want to come back and get them done again!!

I have known Tan for a while and he is absolutely amazing at nail designs. Venice Nails is so beautiful inside, very fancy. Excellent service, friendly, clean, and accommodating!

I got my nails done of the 5th of September (DIP) and today so the 20th. 1 nail fell off 5 days later and got that one fixed for free. The following week 2 fell off. I called and they said they will fix it. When I went in they said they will charge me $6 to fix 2 nails or charge me full price to get a full set. I get DIP so they can last 3 weeks. If one fell off in 3 weeks fine but 3... and you want to charge me the full price. Worst nail experience. I don’t get dip to be in the nail shop weekly.Positive: The nails looked good for all 5 days that I had them.Did I like the technicians technique and how my nails looked overall? I was a client of Tans at his previous salon. When he made the move, I decided to try another salon and instantly regretted it! They were no where as skilled as Tan is and didn’t take the time to show your nails the same amount of love that Tan does. All it took was one time and I learned my lesson about straying off from him! NEVER. AGAIN. Tan, with his beautiful experience and wonderful customer, will forever be the only one touching my nails!

Poor Experience: Antagonized by nail technician who Failed to shape my nails evenly. Owner failed to provide good customer service. Will not return to establishment due to unfair treatment as a paying customer.

I feel like I need to share my experience and warn others to carefully read all the review before coming to Venice Nails Spa. The staffs were rude and speaking Chinese with others while working on my toe. The whole time I was in the salon I felt like they were just want to rushing through my pedicure and trying to have me leave the pedicure chair as soon as possible. On top of that, she did a horrible job polishing my toes. I would not come back to this place at all.

This place is terrible!!! The technicians were rude and had a lot of attitude. The woman messed up my mothers nail on purpose because she was mad. Awful service! Kim was lovely thought.

Lyn and Kim were awesome!! Walked in and got started right away, very nice staff. Definitely going back!

Tan the owner is awesome, anytime I need my nails or a pedicure done he gets me right in when its convenient for me, great customer service and very nice nail salon.They go above and beyond at Venice Nail Salon to make you feel comfortable and happy ! My mom, sister, and I came and got mani pedis for my birthday. The service was GREAT. I had no complaints. Ive lived in the area for 2 years and this is the best place. So peaceful and relaxing for a busy Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend!
