Ive lived here for a year now, and I still have one year to go on my lease. The biggest regret in my life is moving here, and the second biggest regret is signing a two year lease here. Maintenance does not fix issues, they are constantly leaf blowing at 8 AM, but the pool hasnt been cleaned at all this year. It is literally green at this point. Theres rotting wood on the upper levels, and I genuinely believe that this place is going to collapse.Apart from that, there is limited free parking, and multiple cars double park on a regular basis, and nothing is done about it. The only other option is paid parking, but even those are limited. I have had to park at the YMCA multiple times.I would also avoid renting any apartments from Power Properties, as I believe this is not the only complex of theirs that is in disarray. I think they are stretched too thin, and they probably need to sell a few complexes.TL;DR : DONT MOVE HERE OR ANY POWER PROPERTIES

Dont even know where to begin. Maintenance never fixes anything, had a pipe burst in and leak into our kitchen for a week until they fixed it and now the floors are ruined because of it, washers are always broken, a women who works for the property lives here and has racially profiled me multiple times and has harassed me to the point where I stopped trying to use the amenities she has said multiple times you dont look like you live here, when the pool was open I would be swimming by myself and she would call security on me and tell them to harass me saying I didnt live here and then would come out and do it herself. It honestly sucks living in a place where you dont feel welcome anywhere.

Do Not Move Here. Too many things to name. Unbelievably unprofessional. By far this last year has been the most disappointing rental experience I’ve had or even heard of.

Ive lived at the Verandah Flats for almost 3 years now and have had a great experience. Minor issues, as you can expect with any complex, but the good far outweighs the bad. Pools are nice, location is great, maintenance is quick to respond, leasing office has been available. I would definitely recommend the Verandah Flats.

Great place to live if you want to be woken up by multiple high power leaf blowers 3 days a week and listen to their loud roaring scream for a continuous 8 hours a day

Those comments were before the new owners. I have no problems at all with rodents, insects or any other creatures in my apartment. Thus place is amazing. It has a young vibe to it and the Gardens (3pool areas) are the best out of all of the properties. Im not moving from here any time soon!

My husband & I lived here for year (moved in July of 2017). I’d give this complex 4.5 stars if I could. So many great things about this place. The people who work in the Power Properties leasing office are super nice (especially Jason) & made us feel like they actually cared about us as tenants. Maintenance requests were responded to in a timely manner, not that we often needed maintenance. The grounds were well kept. The location is incredible. Not only is it a nice area to live, the complex is directly next door to the White Rock YMCA & across the street from a Tom Thumb. The layout of the apartment is good & spacious. The complex was peaceful & we never had any issues with other tenets. Convenient laundry. All around a great experience living there. We only had 2 complaints really. Parking was tough at certain hours. However, the worst thing was the apartments aren’t labeled properly which makes getting deliveries very difficult. As people who place Amazon orders basically every other day, this was a huge annoyance & extremely aggravating. We had maybe a 50% chance of getting our package without issue. We were constantly labeled “undeliverable” or would have to hunt around the complex to figure out where the driver had left our package. Many times I had to file claims with Amazon because we never received our package that was delivered to someone else in the complex. If PP fixes this issues this complex would be a dream!

Apartment prices on their website doesn’t match the prices on apartment finder for them.

Beautiful complex my dream home. But not a good place African Americans, I felt prejudice from my neighbors and management.

Right next to YMCA and White Rock Lake. Great location.
