I haven’t lived here long but it’s been great. It’s super dog friendly which I love. The landscaping is well maintained, and the access to the trail is awesome. The leasing process was a little long, I believe the office was understaffed at the time because it took a while to get everything done. But everyone was friendly and easy to work with. The apartments themselves are also so nice, the finishes are really pretty and the high ceilings make it feel huge.
My daughter moved in April 7, 2021. Upon entering the apartment on move in day, we were hit in the face with the horrid smell of marijuana. We indicated this on the move-in sheet, as well as spoke to the staff the very next morning. We have sent numerous emails, made multiple phone calls, and have met with multiple staff members, and have been pushed off each time. No resolution to this day. My daughter’s clothing smells of pot. Her apartment smells horrible! This has definitely been an existing issue that the management chooses NOT to solve. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
The front staff in the Live Oaks office is very professional, courteous and always eager to help with any concerns of the residents. Joseph, Seth & Adam has an immense amount of compassion and empathy towards the residents as I have seen on multiple occasions first hand. Keep up the great work management over at Live Oaks! You guys are doing a great job! Much better improvement.
Had a great time at a live oaks pool party and Sarah is such a gracious and well coordinated host and was very attentive to everyone’s need with a great smile! The drinks from Nestor were so refreshing a delicious too! I know I’ll be renewing my lease again!!
I enjoyed touring this complex! It’s actually 3 complexes in one. My tour guide Dexter was super nice and informative. I gave it four stars because it didn’t fit what I was looking for in regards to space and price.
Despite me not leasing, I love this apartment complex & community! I toured this past weekend with Santi and he was super helpful and attentive. He was able to answer all of my questions pertaining to the living space and apartments. Overall he and Dexter provided a great experience while viewing the property!
EDIT: No one from the apartment staff reached out about any of my concerns so I subtracted 1 star from my rating. Also, when I’ve gone myself to bring them up, nothing has ever happened. I cannot wait for my lease to end so I can find a new home. DO NOT SIGN HEREI am a new resident at this location (Live Oaks), I moved in the first week of February. In the few weeks I’ve been here I’ve had a few issues:1. Noise - I’m pretty sure this has to do with the construction of the complex. I can hear literally everything my upstairs neighbors do. Every time they walk around their apartment, I hear the footsteps, and it’s not soft either. Wear earplugs, because it will wake you every time your upstairs neighbor wakes up to use the bathroom. Every time a cabinet or door is opened or closed, I hear it. I can even hear the knife against the counter/cutting board when they chop up fruits and vegetables. Additionally, street noise is also very loud in the unit, which does not bother me. I just moved from a college community, so I am used to noise of all degrees at all hours, but the noise through the walls is excessive and, as I said before, I pretty sure it’s not due to loud neighbors, but overall poor construction of the complex or, at least, my section. Quite frankly, if I had been aware of the noise before signing my lease, I would’ve chose elsewhere.2. Amenities - There are 3 gyms on this combined property. One gym is being ‘renovated’ and judging from resident reviews it has been for some time. The gym at Teak is the current designated gym to use. However, even after asking management several times for access, it could not be given due to an issue with the system. They in turn provided access to the Ash gym which has now been closed for an indefinite time. Additionally, retrieving packages has also been difficult, as packages are often delivered but I’m not given a code to retrieve them. I’m not sure what the problem is but making use of the amenities here has, so far, proven quite difficult.3. Maintenance - The water pressure has been low in the kitchen, basically unusable. It’s far more effective to use the bathroom sink to wash dishes. I put in work orders for it, but maintenance told me there’s basically nothing they can do? So now I’m practically stuck without a kitchen sink. This seems like a fixable issue as the water pressure everywhere else is fine.So what do I enjoy about the property then?1. Beautiful Area and Community - the area and community are clean and aesthetically pleasing. Lots of activity and it’s very lively. People can frequently be seen walking their dogs or exercising. The location is great for access to stores, restaurants, gyms, etc. Several nice common areas and outdoor areas. Located next to University Crossing trail so there is plenty of access to green space.2. The Floor Plan - I live in a 1200+ sq ft 2 bed 2 bath. It’s quite large and has a nice open floor plan with lots of potential. The appliances and materials used in the interior seem higher quality. The addition of a turfed yard in some units is invaluable for pet owners or someone who craves a small yard.3. Staff - the staff here are friendly and engaging. I just wish they could be more helpful for the issues above, but that seems outside their control. In conclusion, I want to love living here. This community has a lot to offer. However, it falls short on a few key aspects that keep it from being a truly satisfactory experience. That being said, there are lots of positives to appreciate as well that can often overshadow the negative aspects of living here and makes this a decent apartment community.
This is based on the quality of employment for their offices. On Saturday I noticed a loose dog in our apartment complex. My partner and I, and some other neighbors wanted to help. We all finally got the dog cornered. I went to the office twice! Once to see if they saw the dog (before we found him) second to ask for some basics, water, protocol, a phone number, help calling the phone number (as my phone was almost dead and I have been aggressively trying to google/connect with places). It was getting dark and rainy and I had no idea what to do. The one man said they have no water bottles or a bowl like substance for water in their office with 6-8 rooms and a break room... then I asked for assistance in which he seemed uninterested in assisting and extreme with lack of urgency. I asked for a number and he said “I guess I can find you pest control”.... I’m worried for the management team that your office “helpers” are just bodies answering phones. Forget that I tried to call the office twice before going in just to see the two men cackling in office. Finally as my concern and urgency grew, he responded “I don’t know what the attitude is for” which I replied “because it seems like you don’t care to help” in which he replied “well I don’t”. I told him he was a terrible human being and that as a complex, I’m sure removing a scared and terrified dog would have been the safer route. Luckily it we found the owner, who lives in the complex, along with some other neighbors and we all decided how the office “boys” acted in a unprofessional, rude, and disgusting tone. Upper management should be concerned with their behavior and attitude in general if this is how they act toward helping a lost dog in the complex. They do not have enough basic human decency to be allowed to assist with tenants. This was on Saturday at 4ish pm, two males, one with blonde hair and one with black hair.
I am not going to lie, there seems to be some empty promises from the leasing staff prior to moving in and once you sign a lease and follow up, they brush you off until you go away. However, the leasing managers are responsive and professional. I also really like Sarah, she has been super nice and helpful since I moved in.I havent had issues with noise. Overall, I am happy with my decision to move here.
Been here for about 3 months now. I have to say this is one of the nicer communities that Ive stayed in. Although I havent had a chance to get to know the community staff there is one person in particular who I have found to be particularly friendly and very helpful. Her name is Kylie. If youre in the market for a new home I would definitely reach out to this place and ask for her specifically and see what they have to offer. The local is great and the community is clean and quiet which is all anyone can really ask for.
I really like my new place and have a great view of the pool. Everyone is supercool and parking is awesome.
Wonderful community in an amazing neighborhood! We love how close we are to our favorite restaurants and hangouts.
Rude staff. I came to view an apartment and was treated with disdain by a hefty girl with glasses. She did not great us and was super rude.
This place has been a nightmare. I secured an apartment in February and I have been trying to reach them since. I just got a lease yesterday but it was all wrong. Then I have begged via email for them to call me for two weeks and crickets. Every time I just get another BS email with the same excuses no matter who writes me. Everyone I know has been horrified and sad to me. I was so excited about this place and I was that way for 24 hours and know it’s a stressor and a groovily nightmare on top of starting a job that I have to focus on and I want to enjoy. I’m living out of boxes, I can’t sleep and I’m trapped. I’m so upset They have ruined it for me. I’m not even sure if people still work there but I’ve been leasing in Texas for 27 years and I’ve never dealt with this. If I were the owners I’d fire all of them because I have to live there and now it’s awkward, not that I have ever talked to anyone really other than one person in no November when I toured and I wish I was joking but it’s been straight late late late emails and empty promises and lies. Do not lease here. Let me be a cautionary tale. To the owners. Clean house they aren’t just upsetting people now they are going to cost you.
Yes the location is great, and that’s about it.I’ll try to not make this too long but 🤦🏻♀️ the management is extremely unprofessional and someone else said it best in their review ‘full of empty promises’. If I had known that moving out was going to be such a nightmare to deal with the mgt, I would have never moved in. We were charged over $3500 in ‘damages’. According to them they needed to replace the ENTIRE floor, which we counted maybe around 20 scratched planks in a high traffic area of the townhome which we lived in for 4 years and paid over $110k in rent throughout our stay. We pretty much were penalized for being longterm/loyal tenants. I called, wrote emails to try to come to a FAIR agreement and explained to them that normal ‘wear and tear’ should be considered and never heard back from anyone. I’ve lived in many other apt. complexes throughout Dallas, Manhattan, New Jersey, Rhode Island, etc. and have always received my deposits back for being a good tenant, so this mgt. is an outlier.Other issues: packages were stolen all the time, my husband’s bike was stolen from our garage, my car was broken into, tenants dont pick up after their dogs, our townhome had plumbing/foundation issues (water seeped along the foundation everytime we showered) and we reported it many times and nothing was ever done about it, list goes on...Trust me, you’ll regret it when you’re moving out and paying thousands of dollars (pretty much the cost of a vacation).
Update:After a few rounds of discussion the leasing office accepts previous email convo between us and the leasing team as evidence. We came to the conclusion that the girl on the leasing team who helped us moving in did not file the inventory form properly, as well as adding my additional request to the form. We were able to get full refund of our deposit after 2 months.Im pretty upset that my happy living experience at Teak ended with this unexpected incident. One thing i learned for sure is to always ask for singned copy even the leasing team does not provide them actively.————————————Original review:We just moved out, the move out inspection went smooth until we got charged for damage conditions preexisting before we moved in. We listed everything out on the move in check list and turned in on time, now the leasing office claims its not in the system so I cannot use it as proof even if I have a photo copy before I turned it in. The team never sign anything unless you ask them to, they will tell you its okay. They didnt sign our move in checklist, they didnt sign our move out request form till we asked several times. I would not recommend living here unless you dont care about getting back your deposit. Before we moved out I loved living at the place. Great floor plan and good location, I love the floor plan a lot, and cant find any place has a similar layout at the same price point. Lockers for packages works well, gated community, parking spot is always available, nothing to complain.Appliance in the unit wasnt great tho, the dishwasher did not work properly for the first couple months, and the team made 4 trips to get it working, it does not dry properly at the end but at least do the washing part just fine. The kitchen sink started backing up water frequently and it also took weeks to get that fixed.
Celsi the manager at the Teak is incredible! She’s is very responsive, easy to work with and goes out of her way to help her residents. We have lived here for over 4 years and would highly suggest this place to anyone!
Love living at the Teak! We have lived here for over 4 years and have loved every second of it! The manager, Celsi and the staff are fantastic! Highly recommend this as a spot to make your home!
Management doesn’t reply. I’ve spent an entire yr with them trying to get a MAIL key. Just today they shut off the water in the building without letting anyone know. Your apt won’t actually be clean when you move in, and you’ll be able to hear absolutely everything your Neighbors do. I would highly recommend never moving here. Not worth the close proximity to SMU. Not to mention that they seem to have deleted my last bad review.
Great experience! Lived there for a year and enjoyed every bit of it. Helpful staff that never minded going above and beyond. Our pup always loved dropping by the front office for a treat and we were always greeted with smiles. Appreciate all you guys did for us. You will be missed!
The apartments are nice and the location is unbeatable. Although Ive had a couple of small issues, Celsee in the office always finds an answer and makes sure Im taken care of. Because of her, I resigned my lease. It can sometimes get noisy but thats just apartment living in general. Overall, a great place to live for a great price.
I’ve been living at The Teak for about 9 Months now and I haven’t had any major issues, it was a situation when I initially moved in but they handled it as quickly as possible. The staff seems to change every so often but there’s one that I like in particular, Jordan! He’s super helpful, respectful and professional. I personally love working with friendly people where I live and when things come up, they’re very understanding. Jordan has really made things a breeze for me when I call or walk in. I love living at the teak and plan to as long as I’m renting.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. This is the first time where I bothered to write a review. I strongly urge potential residents to not live here! 3 of my friends and I lived here for a year and left for good reasons. We had so many issues at this complex that I cannot write about all of them. One time all the fire alarms went off in all the buildings in the middle of the night and it took them like an hour to get it resolved. The management did not even address it. When you call about a noise complaint it does not get resolved in a timely manner. This apartment complex can get very noisy as well. Some of the gym equipment never works. One time we filed a maintenance request for a broken drawer and the maintenance person glued it shut. Compared to my new apartment (which is great), the management at the Branch is unprofessional. They just want to get as much money from you as possible. Don’t be fooled by some of the reviews on here.
Ive been a current resident for over a year. My ac went out Friday evening. Maintenance informed me they could not repair my ac until Wednesday. They gave me a portable ac for my bedroom but could not provide one for my living room. My apartment was too hot to stay over the weekend due to the three-digit temps in Dallas. The current temp inside my apartment is 93 degrees. Ive called and emailed the front desk over the weekend, no answer. I called Monday morning to complain and find out the status of the repair. The front office was not aware my ac has been out since Friday. Management has not reached out to me to try to accommodate my discomfort. I attached pictures of the temps from over the weekend, a heat advisory alert from this past weekend, and the current temp inside my apartment. I filed a complaint with the City of Dallas for them not repairing my ac within 24 to 48 hours. Im upset with the lack of urgency and empathy the apartment complex has towards its residents.
I was interested in this property until I read the reviews. I’m not so much impressed with amenities as I am with noise pollution. It seems to be a common concern of “thin walls”. I understand that’s part of what to expect but seeing so many reviews about this one issue, I’ve decided to look elsewhere. Before you waste your valuable time, then from exhaustion, settle; read the reviews so you have a “heads up” before you travel to the property.
I was so excited about making The Branch my next home, but after trying to get in contact with their management/leasing office through multiple emails, phone calls, and voicemails with ZERO response, I decided to sign elsewhere. Very disappointing and beyond unprofessional. Sounds like it was a smart move signing elsewhere after reading the other reviews on here too-- they apparently dont respond to their residents either. If they are this unresponsive to potential residents, I cant even imagine how they treat the people they have already locked in. Save yourself the time and frustration and sign with a property where the management actually cares about you-- returning a phone call or email is literally the bare minimum you can do to show you are professional and care about your business. First impressions are important, and this one was terrible.
I like living at the branch but Celsee in the office makes you love this place! She’s always available & willing to go above & beyond to make ur living here amazing & helps or find who can help with any issue that may arise! : )
Celsee is the best. if youre considering leasing here, you should ask for her specifically. She went way above and beyond to work with our timeline and get us into the. perfect unit. Experience leasing at the same property with other people was nowhere near as good. The actual property is nice too. High ceilings, private yards, maintenance is super nice. Biggest downside is residents of the Ash across the street are really young and are loud and rude. Hopefully that will change under new management. One more time, Celsee (pronounced like kelsey) is amazing.
I did not personally live here but my friends lived here so I was at this apartment complex a lot. My friends constantly complained about this complex and dissuaded me from also moving in to this complex. From what I have seen I would not recommend living here at all.
Ive had good experiences with the leasing staff here, especially with Jeriah. He has always been very helpful with all my requests. Ill be moving out this month, but have enjoyed my time here!
This is by far the best apartment-living experience I have ever had! I recently moved here from a different state and was not looking forward to going back to living in an apartment, because I had been previously renting a house. But this place was one of the first ones to come up on the list and had the most unique floor plan layouts that stood out beyond your average apartment!Every complex in The Branch is very well known for their built-in shelving! There is so much built in space in the closet that there was no need for me to have a dresser. I’m thoroughly impressed with the maintenance team as they are super quick to respond to something as simple as a light bulb that needs to be replaced. The valet trash service is worth the small amount you pay towards it, and the fact that the parking garages are in the center of three out of the four complexes make outings like grocery shopping super simple. For example, I live on the fourth floor. So when I come back to my apartment, I drive up to the fourth floor to park, and there is a small walkway from the garage that leads to my apartment. Life has literally never been easier!Lastly, I want to highlight that the pricing here is PHENOMENAL. I reside in the Teak and I rent out a 1,400 sq. ft. 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment that includes a study, and the most unique layout I’ve ever seen in an apartment. (2J, if you are curious which one)! And when I first heard the price, I was a little shocked because I was seeing other places that were 1-bedrooms with half of the square footage, and not nearly as unique go for the same price! Truthfully, I’m a little shocked the overall rating of this place is not higher but I do understand that they went through a management change in the past year. Thus, perhaps the change was a great move because this place is absolutely amazing! I LOVE living here!
Tyler was such a great help when i was looking for an apartment. I knew what i wanted and the price range as well. Tyler was willing to show my as many apartments as I needed until I found the perfect fit
It is a great place. Definitely the best in the area, and they have tons of options for any budget. The amenities are clean and available for everyone. They also accommodate short lease terms. The salesman are attentive and fun.I dont personally live there, but a close friend just moved in, and he really likes it.The only con is that the 3 story building dont have elevators. So, enjoy bringing your couch upstairs.
Me and my husband have absolutely loved living here at Live Oaks at the Branch! We have lived here for three years and have had the most incredible experience with the management and complex. The management who runs this place are some of the most warm and helpful people we have seen manage an apartment! They are so professional and timely. We feel so safe in this complex! We even referred many of our couple friends to live here and they have loved it, as well.We love that you can walk to Central Market or R Taco and that it is so easy to get everywhere so quickly.Without a doubt, best apartment complex in Dallas! You will not regret living here!
Zach and Jordan have been incredibly helpful! Great service I couldnt be happier!
Tried to apply here and sign a lease. Haven’t heard back from them after I submitted my application and have called several times only to have someone answer rudely that I should hear back tomorrow. Still no response after several voicemails and follow up emails! After 3 weeks of no response from the leasing office I ended up finding another complex in the area that was much more organized and professional. At the end of the day I wasted $150 applying here which is a shame.
Living here has truly been a roller coaster. If you read any review on here read mine. I was one of the first residents to move in here back in 2014, before the teak or the ash were even built. I lived here basically by myself the first three months because the place was empty. In the beginning this place was great, brand new, the office staff were truly great. They used to bend over backwards to keep you happy and it really added value to living here. About a year or two ago a new management company took over (green something) and everything went south. I basically tried to avoid going into the leasing office because I just didnt like dealing with the people. They never greeted you, never tried to get to know you, you had to ask for things multiple times. They always treated you suspiciously about any complaint you had, and they stopped replacing the light bulbs in the apartments. The track lighting costs $30 bucks a bulb to replace.Good news though, apparently the old management company is coming back, probably because of all the complaints. This might be good news for future resident but I hope the damage isnt already done. Good Luck. The apartments are nice too.
This is a great place. We checked around at the others in the area and quickly went back to this one.
The man( either security or concierge) was really rude. I hope the apartment complex can improve its customer services.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have only been here for 2 months and my experience has been the absolute worse. The leasing office is basically non existent until they need something from you. The communication is awful, it took me 5 emails in row to get some type of response. You can forget about maintenance requests being attended to in a timely fashion as well.I was not properly greeted when I moved in, I basically had to find the apartment by myself then my keys didnt even work. Also, my washer and dryer didnt show up until a week later. Paying your rent is the most inconvenient thing ever, pay all at once is your only option. And the garage is really foul smelling all the time.I could keep going but for the sake of time, the list of terrible things is really long. Like the others said dont be distracted by the amenities because the leasing office will make you hate it. If i could move out early without penalty I would be gone in a heartbeat.
Im updating my previous review, frustrated review after issues with our dishwasher. Today my husband and I had a great experience with office management. She was so kind and helpful! They are making positive changes to the look and feel of the complex and working hard to make this a great community. The apartment homes here are gorgeous, and well priced for the area.
Rebekah is very helpful and does her best to accommodate all residents! She is a great property manager and it shows through the property. They are always trying to make improvements and make the lifestyle better. Love it here!
Noise from the residents above is unbearable. Not due to partying but simply walking around and pulling out a kitchen chair will echo down below. Asked for help from leasing office and was ignored via emails and problem still continuing. Left voicemail to not get a call back. I know they can’t fix the super thin ceiling but options can be presented and responses would be appreciated. Other reviews also talk about thin walls. I don’t even mind the constant Dart train passing by, but every hour hearing footsteps isn’t too cute.
Mason and the leasing team at Live Oaks at the Branch helped make our move smooth and super easy! They were accommodating when we needed to move a few days early despite the holiday weekend! I was always able to have my questions answered no matter who picked up the phone and It was clear they had strong communication among the leasing agents and managers! I absolutely love my apartment with an attached, private yard and top of the line finishes/appliances! I will definitely recommend Live Oaks/Teak at the Branch to all of my friends, family, and Smart City Apartment Locating clients!!!
My cellphone was stolen in the lounge. Stay away. The is the worst complex in the worldI was studying at the Lounge at 11PM. I came back to my apartment, then I noticed that I forgot my cell phone there. I couldnt go in to the Lounge because the doors was looked automatic after 11PM.There were too many cameras around. Almost everywhere. The next day I ran to the leasing office. They said you have to speak with the manager. Every time I went there, they said the same thing. Finally I caught the manager. She denied to show who stole the phone. She said we dont know and we cant do any thing about it.Ive called the police. They came and spoke with them. They didnt show the picture to the police too.The police told I have to get an official accusation, so every thing be legal. All of that is true. I swear. Also the service is horrible. Always people have moved away.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!I applied for a unit here last fall, paid for the application fee and was told I’d hear back in the next couple of days.... after about a week I hadn’t heard anything so I called and asked on the status. The guy who answered told me the application hadn’t been submitted because they were missing information but they NEVER called me to ask for it!!! I sent the info over and was told they’d give me a call the next day... never happened. I called yet again and was informed I’d been approved and the lease would be emailed over to me to sign... NEVER received it. I finally looked elsewhere but never got offered a refund on my job application. Please look for an apartment elsewhere!
Good friendly management, quick response to services. Celsee was a great sells rep!
Best place ever. Been here 2 years (since it opened) and it keeps getting better!
Terrible management. I think they had 3 different management companies over the past 2 years and they have all been terrible. Even packages signed by their office somehow take weeks to find sometimes.
The apartment itself was very nice and we lucked out with pretty cool neighbors. However, the staff in the leasing office is terrible!!!!! They never returned our calls at any point while living there. We were willing to look past that and renew our lease but downsize in square feet. When we went in to do that they told us we would be charged a $500 fee. They couldnt explain why we needed to pay that amount other than we were current residents. The construction is loud and there is dust everywhere all the time. Again very nice apartment but youre better off elsewhere.
Fair warning, this place is staggeringly terrible. Do NOT live here. The management is beyond awful all the way up to corporate. Just look at the reviews on Yelp and notice that in the last year there are 4 1s and 2 3s. I will try to accurately detail my experience at The Teak:1) I called maintenance and, while they did fix the issue, I came home from work with my apartment open and the key still in the lock.2) On the second floor they let the trash room overflow into the wall into the middle of the week. It stunk and drew flies and rats into the complex.3) I live over the dog run and while initially I thought it would be kind of fun I quickly regretted that decision. There are dog feces all left all over it. Many responsible dog owners have complained to me that there are rarely cleanup bags in the receptacle. Additionally, there are dog feces all around the complex and in the common areas. I have complained at least 5 times about this and the problems persist.4) The complex is extremely noisy and not hey you live in a apartment complex noisy. Noisy late into the night which I have complained about 4 times. Finally on the fourth time when I called at 12:45am I got to the answering service and the noise still persisted. They deemed it was not noisy but the loud bass and yelling constantly outside the hall until 2:30am would probably disagree.5) They did an audit and told me my rental insurance had expired even though it was 19 days until it did and it automatically renews. I heard this complaint from several other residents as well6) They moved their office to the Live Oaks. There is actually no on-site office at The Teak.In summation, this complex is tantamount to a beautiful car you buy that then breaks down 10 ft down the road....at first you are excited but you instantly regret making that purchase. Do not waste your money or even time here. Do not bother looking at these or even speaking to management. It is useless.
HORRIBLE. UNPROFESSIONAL. INEXPERIENCED. and that’s just to explain the leasing center agents. I was in there two days ago to ask about a studio and the leasing agent, Jacob, was very lazy. Showed me a model that was nothing like what I was inquiring about. Didn’t offer to show me any amenities and air-dropped me a video of the apt floor plan instead. I later looked online at the exact unit he had quoted me $300 more than was online and extra specials that he did not bother to mention. I came back and asked how he could quote me so different and if I could view the unit since it said available now. He said come back in 45 min they’re cleaning the carpets. So I came back and waited without being greeted at the door. While I waited I was informed by another agent that he was leasing the unit I was interested in. LOL. WHERE IS THE COMMUNICATION AT THIS PROPERTY?! NONEXISTENT. Sucks because the prices are affordable and the units (from what I’ve seen online) are nice. MAJOR RED FLAG when the leasing agents give no cares or interest in helping you. Very disappointed and frustrated. Jacob Honaker should not be a leasing agent or in any field of customer service, as he has no skill or decent respect for others. Save your time and go around the corner to The Ash!!! Customer service is priceless.
Worst apartment experience any could ever expect! Staff can not keep the accounting straight. After living in the same complex, The Teak, for 3 years there has been so many turn overs and they do not keep track of payments, paperwork or move out information. About to get lawyers involved.... hope no one ever has to deal with this type of situation I am going through.
Beautiful apartments, slow to respond to work orders, managment has been changed multiple times in 1.5 years
These apartments are gorgeous. They come with a pool, recreation area, and a gym. All in all, amazing place to live.
You will not get your deposit back! Worst managed apt community I’ve ever lived in! Ghetto!!!
Theyve taken off my last review. Do not live here. Dont be distracted by the amenities and location because the staff will make living here miserable. So many things are run poorly. Packages missing, lost rent checks, raging parties thrown at the pool, no communication. There is a long list of things that no one should ever experience while living in an apartment. Avoid this place at all costs!
These may be new, but maintenance and management make it not worth it. The dog run is consistently dirty with tenants not picking up after their dogs, cigarette buds and trash. Calling the office to ask politely to have it cleaned, not just sprayed with some deodorizer they use as a bandaid, but actually clean the dog run is worthless. Ive called so many times and they may come through every now and then (honestly less than a handful of times), but it is NEVER consistently maintained. Dont move here and pay pet rent to see your money wasted. If you dont have pets, it may be worth it to you but I moved here due to the pet friendly atmosphere and amenities that have proved not to be worth it. Disappointed I renewed just for the sake of not wanting to move again.

Very nice apartment complex. Upscale living
I just visit friends here, but am constantly annoyed by the amount of dogs barking, EVERYWHERE. This place is like a dog park.
This is an update to my previuos review!Beware! Looks modern as your first impression, not sound proof and you can hear the neighbors conversations specially in the night. You will also see new management every other month. They dont know what they are doing. I lived here threee years and its not worth what you are spending here. The management is mean when you leave after lease termination. Dog waste is rerely picked up and the surroundings are disgusting!
We have been living her for over 2 years and the only good experience we had was moving in. The referral program is a joke $50 (last I heard about a year ago), the printer in their club room is almost always out of paper, ink or both. Only one computer ever works or sometimes none. They recently put this extremely strong smelling deodorizer in there so you have to run in & out before you suffocate (as if someone is pouring perfume in your nose). The workout room gets cleaned once every few months...check out the dust bunnies multiplying under the machines or the small pieces of trash sitting next to the machines. Supposedly the cleaning lady goes in there 2x a day...I tested that theory out by leaving a small piece of paper in the middle of the floor...it was there the whole week. They obviously dont dust or vacuum. They also put the strong deodorizer in their so you cant breathe when you workout. The walls in the workout room are thin, you can hear people running on the treadmill when you are in the club room and even hear someone talking. The walls in my apt. are paper thin, I can literally hear every single word the neighbor is saying on his phone when I am in my bedroom. I sit in my living room and can hear people talking in the hallway outside. The water pressure in the kitchen is rigged to a regular stream so forget about needing a strong stream to clean pots & pans. There is also no lighting directly above the sink so you get to wash dishes in the dark when its nightfall. I guess they assume no one cooks. Men are constantly taking glass bottles to the pool, they even had to shut it down a few times to clean it up. Management keeps changing and they all seem to be too high and mighty to bother with helping existing residents, I finally gave up after meeting 4 different ones. They dont respond to complaints. Lately, maintenance requests havent been getting done, only one maintenance guy seems to know what is going on. There are dogs everywhere without leashes and there are big dogs that run up to you. The office staff is pretty nice but thats it. I agree with the other reviewer, you better track your own packages because the office loses them. I went to the office twice for a package the size of a medium suitcase and even after showing them they signed for it, they couldnt find it. I submitted the lost pkg to Amazon, got a refund, then 2 weeks later the office hands me the pkg. Theyve also consistently given me pkgs for other apartments. Yes the appliances are nice and new, the wood floors are great, the apartment is beautiful but I hate living here when I have to deal with the office and the loose dogs. But I hate moving even more so I renewed, one more year but thats it. I cant wait to escape. The good reviews on here are probably from people that the office bribed in some way or they havent lived here long enough. The rent is high for these supposed luxury apartments with terrible service and fake amenities that sound and look nice but arent maintained well for your usage. Over $2K for a 2 bedroom, I could rent a whole house for less and not deal with all these problems....just waiting on the lease to expire.
Nice amenities and very clean property; staff/maintenance is willing to help with any accommodations or problems
None of their contact numbers work. I have been trying to call the office and the website number and google phone number are disconnected.
Great community just the typical problems with staff
