Im confused by some of the lower ratings- all apartments will have the issues described from time to time. The biggest difference is how management handles issues on the property or emergencies like the recent snow storm. Weve been treated very fairly and have renewed several times with very little to complain about.
This apartment WAS great the first year. In the last couple years we have experienced far too many issues.1. Our sink was installed INCORRECTLY causing a pipe to burst and flooding in our apartment. Did I mention this happened to about 5 other apartments in our building within the same month? And they tried to blame US for the problem. Umm, what?!2. The gate is broken every single week and we can’t park in our own lot most of the time.3. The power is out 2x monthly (only in building 1 and never anywhere else). We look across the street, which is the same apartment complex, and the power is fine. Not sure why it’s ALWAYS building one. Not to mention NO ONE from the apartment ever reaches out saying they are working on it.4. No one in the office ever answers when there is an issue. The maintenance number to call is the same as the office number. How do you expect to get help from the “emergency maintenance” contact when no one is in the office to answer the call?Extremely happy we are moving out in a month. This apartment has been nothing but problems in the last couple years.
I really enjoyed living here, and half of that time was unfortunately during the pandemic when no amenities were available (which is completely understandable). I would have stayed here longer if I could, but circumstances changed that warranted the move. You really cant beat the price of these apartments in this area for what you get.I cant really speak to the break-ins that other reviews say are occurring, but I did not experience that in my time here. I also saw the security walk the hallways, and they even busted me after hours at the hot tub in one instance (oops).Honestly, if I ever need an apartment in Dallas again, this is the place. Thanks for the good times, Eastbridge.
I moved to east bridge about a year ago, site unseen from another state on a whim. I never rented an apartment without seeing first hand before. I was very surprised and it was more than expected. Madeleine was awesome she guided me through everything even took a video of the apartment and sent it to me. The whole process was quick, easy and straight forward. The past year maintenance was very quick and attentive at fixing things. Usually one fix and never had an issue again. Everyone in the leasing office was polite and more then happy to assist when you stopped by. Tons of gatherings to enjoy every month and meet new people. prices are great for the neighbor hood.Overall, you couldnt ask for a better place & highly recommend
Elegance and peaceful.
I love this complex! Feels super safe, maintenance is quick, and complex social events are actually fun. I expected a lot of noise, especially as my apartment faces the street, but its definitely quieter than expected, which is nice. Gym isnt amazing, but its free and never crowded, and pool is a good community spot in the summer.
I absolutely loved living at Eastbridge. I was living alone in a one bedroom, one bathroom. It was the perfect size for just me. The staff was always amazing and I loved the events they threw, especially the summer pool party with Zoes and Steel City pops catered along with beer and other beverages. The pool is gorgeous and my patio was right off of it. The garage is also a huge plus. There was always a place to park and having covered parking is HUGE. Amazing place! I would recommend it to anyone!
I have been burglarized various times - items stolen from my porch, my locked car broken into and even a portion of my van’s muffler was sawed off when parked on Richard Street!!!Many of my neighbors can tell you the same - locked bikes have been stolen from hallways and porches, doesn’t matter what floor you live on. Rims have been taken off parked cars, and I have seen many smashed car windows (including mine). There is a gated parking garage which does NOT deter criminals as they will just smash the window to get into the car. There is also a security officer who drives by the complex but never gets out of their car while patrolling. I have lived here for years and have never seen them within the hallways or corridors of the complex.Ever since rims were stolen from a truck, Eastbridge Apartments added some video surveillance so now you can watch as the criminals steal your stuff from your car. There is a false sense of security at Eastbridge (having a security officer, cameras, etc.) and although its location is in a vibrant area and the office staff is great it does not deserve the high rating it has.
Ive really enjoyed the community aspect in this complex. It feels much more like a home than previous places Ive lived in. Everyones been friendly at community events and just around the property, and the staff has always been very courteous and professional which I truly appreciate. This has definitely been the most welcoming, friendly community Ive been part of. As for improvements, any time Ive had issues with appliances or equipment theyve been extremely fast to provide assistance and solve the problem. Its been first class all the way!
Edit:After my previous review the apt manager reached out to address all my concerns. They reached out very quickly and I could tell that they genuinely wanted to make the experience of living here a pleasant one. So I decided that with all the options they offered and how they approached the problems Id be more than happy to give them a five star instead.Previous review:If you decide to move to this apt complex make sure you get a top floor unit that faces away from streets. Then you might have a five star experience. My unit faces the street and on weekends you can hear drunk people yelling right outside your window and it feel unsafe and wakes you up from sleep. Upstairs don’t have carpet so you can hear every foot step the neighbor makes and their big dog makes. If your upstair neighbor doesn’t happen to be someone super conscious (few people are) about it then you are constantly annoyed by the loud noise. Some of the management staff are nice and helpful, like Madeleine, but one of them is not. I forgot her name but every time you ask her questions or for help you can just tell from her tone that she doesn’t even want to make an attempt to help you. She basically just tells you there is nothing she can do for you and you are annoying her.One good thing about this complex is that maintenance staff is nice and comes usually the next day. The finishes of the apts are relatively updated, but when you move in make sure you check everything to make sure it is not broken, because you can tell the updates are done in a hurry and of bad quality so there are small holes in the wall, paint splattered on cabinets, the stopper for the sink does not move up and down, and cabinet doors are misaligned, and etc. So check everything to make sure they don’t come back and say that YOU broke all those things at the end of your lease.
July 27 2020, 2:30 pm they wont pick up the phone, I know theyre in the office, dont want to deal with anybody.
Pros; My roommate and I have enjoyed this place and its price for several years now. You are in the middle of so much to do that is walk-able! Updated appliances and look to the inside of our apartment. The staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance is timely and consistent. They have apartment wide clubhouse events (pre-cv 19), which are very nice. Pool is clean, gym is nice. Parking is easy! Neighbors are respectful and nice, and most people stay here for years so youll start to recognize everyone around.Cons; The buildings are not quiet. You can hear every footstep and sound of neighbors above you, with loud floor creaks. Walls are thin, but I think its a trade off for the excellent location and apartment staff.*Overall a great place to live, just has your typical apartment downsides.
Everyone complaining below from 3-5 years ago has clearly not seen the improvements that have been made. Im impressed that after a lot of office turnover, the new staff has managed to get their stuff together relatively quickly. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was the way packages are handled, as well as the need to call maintenance for unique lightbulbs in the apartment that cant be easily replaced by residents.Overall I would definitely suggest this apartment complex to others!
I have lived at Eastbridge Apts for over 2 years and I absolutely love it! I highly recommend moving here if you enjoy a great location with nice amenities and a fun and friendly community. The management here is excellent as well!
Updated:This place was great at first but we’ve had nothing but problems the last year. The power constantly goes off in our building (1-2xx a month), which is extremely aggregating since the middle apartment never loses power. In addition our gate seems to break just about every other week making it impossible to park at your own apartment. I’m glad we’re moving out in the next month.Original:Great location and price. This apartment complex is very close to downtown, Uptown, Knox street and Greenville avenue, making it convenient for enjoying Dallas many bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is very modern with gray painted walls, wood flooring, granite counter-tops and stainless appliances. Our only complaint would be parking can often be tight or very hard to find. Overall though we are very satisfied and glad to call Eastbridge our home!
Not sure what all the fuss is about, these apartments are by far the best in the price range and neighborhood you could ever find. My wife and I just moved here and absolutely love it so far; the apartment has a great layout (one bed, one bath, and instead of patio it has a large sunroom that will make a great office). So far the service has been really responsive but we havent had any big issues to get through. Ill come and update this rating if anything changes but Id encourage some of the other residents to share too.
Great apartment complex with great amenities. Office management is getting better. Best place I have lived!
I currently live here. The office staff is friendly, but they dont seem to care about impressing you too much once you live here. I have water intrusion around the window in my bedroom. Ive submitted multiple maintenance requests and have been lied to and told that parts were being ordered and that someone had resealed around the window. Neither of these things have actually happened. Every time it rains more than a sprinkle, my bedroom curtains get soaked. There are also roly poly bugs everywhere. Im a clean person, but they are attracted to water that leaks into the floor and around the toilet in the bathroom.
Its comfortable for the price
Nice place
