Apartments arent really bad. But theres so much more that could be done even on a budget cost. At times (sometimes too many) it is and feels unsafe. Curfew isnt upheld. Security isnt there or seen sleep. I understand the pandemic but appliances arent replaced when really needed. Maintenance isnt always available. Extermination isnt routine scheduled for pest control. Outside walk areas arent well lite. Sometimes ALOT of drug activity seen.. And way way to often gun shots are heard in the IMMEDIATE area. And as stated, no security... Otherwise ok...

The room size is good .

This is only a desperate situation move. Come up if you can and move out!!

The community is high in crime. They changed the apartments into mental health boarding homes. The community is dirty and the office staff are very unprofessional and constantly calls fir police for problems they create.

Very nasty they wont fix and thing unless you know someone roaches oh my god.

Typical black poor rental apartments. Basic apartments. The police were leaving when my boyfriend and I pulled up. So you know what that means. High crime area.

I been staying over here exactly 2 months now and some of the reviews I have read are not anything I have seen. These apartments are not what people make them out to be. I really believe in my opinion and they are some good apartments, the problem to me would be the roaches other than that they are a nice place to stay.

I wish it were safer

Illegally evicted me without any assistance from a sheriff or court order. And someone was already moved in. Hadn’t even gotten confirmation or notices they said they left on my door there was none..said if it looked abandoned they have the right but that’s works if it’s 300$ worth or less. If that’s the case why do they have me picking up more than 300 worth of property

As the carousel turns soap opra. They towed my car in the visitors spot an i had to pay $285.. Yall know i was super hot office had no comments. I will not visit a friend in need over there again!

What a ghetto-DUMP!! RUN AWAY!! While you still can!I lived there from February to September 2014. Ive never seen so many police, fire, and ambulance vehicles in six months! And gun shots! Like it was a regular thing? LOUD arguments, conversations, parties - EVEN in the *middle* of the week! And DONT BOTHER reporting any maintenance issues that arent about water or fire - itll NEVER get touched. Better off fixing it yourself. Or better yet, DONT MOVE IN THERE!

This place is awful cant wait to move out in two weeks. I lived here for one year and I hate it. They take forever to fix anything. The management is rude and I kinda believe they are racist. Thank you Lord for blessing me so I can be able to move out. I ADVISE NOBODY TO MOVE HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT! No matter how bad your situation is. Please dont move here!

These apartments are wonderful to live in. Very nice living area and they’re close to eating places and schools. Visit them and submit your own opinion.

I have lived there from July of 2003 to August 2004, and l had a great time living at the location at that time...

If you like to open ur door at 3 in morning and shoot a nice game of craps this is the place for you....plus you can take your winnings to a wide variety of trap houses spread out eavenly throughout the carousel for your convenience. security is supurb....they keep red and blue lights flashing around the clock.... I all ways look forward to an action packed weekend at the carousel.

They just evicted the folks on 408 and I’ve never seen any notices on that door.. these people are foul done live here guys

Rundown is all I can say. Stay away the ghetto for real.

First thing first the manager Mrs. Minnie is very rude. Her assistant, who is the mother of Mrs. Minnies grandchild by her son is rude. Not to mention her son sells drugs on her other property. They dont believe in fixing anything on the property. The maintenance man is not license to fix the air, which means you have to basically sit and wait for an electrician. They speak your business out in the open. They keep your mail. There are no mail boxes. They tamper with your mail while its in their possession. Mrs. Minnie is confrontational with you if you call the city on her. Not to mention the security guard isnt helpful in any way. What are you doing while people are getting killed, their homes are being broken into, doors are being kicked in, & fire arms are being shot? If you have children it is not a safe place to be at all. They entertain the crack heads by allowing them to assist the maintenance man. Its horrible. This is the worst apartment complex in the city of Dallas. My people have been recording and caught them in the act and are filing a lawsuit.

I seen the ppl that broke 408 window lol then they said they won’t fix it cause they did it. Then we all watched as they scanned through them folks property..they all crumbs in that office

Just moved in, not luxurious, but yet affordable. Plus they are all bills paid and second chance leasing apartments. My kids love the fireplace!

I have an aunt that lives here and i hate that she has to live in this situation. She has spent the last couple of months living with wet floors and the managers dont wont to help her.She has actually reported it to the manager more than twice to get this resolved and still no results. This is not a good look for these apartments especially when she pays her rent on time and has not been a disturbance to anyone there...I myself needs to see her in a better environment so therefore i will be giving a bad review to this apartment to the city of Dallas also, and the water department. RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!

I have been staying here 3months..... I see a lot of bad reviews but never experience any of them! Roaches: Dont have them....Bedbeds:Dont have them....Police:Barley see them....People hanging out: only in the day time really!!! I can say these apartments are not like they use to be. Mrs.Minnie is not a rude person! She been upfront & I havent had a problem with her. Stay clean & mind your own! #ILikeMyPlace

These apartments are unsafe. We have had multiple break-ins, vehicles stolen, and the entire complex is infested with bedbugs. On top of that, they refuse to perform any maintenance. The refrigerator in the apartment has been scheduled to be replaced for six months. I have moved due to serious health concerns for my family. I would not recommend even visiting this complex. they need to be condemned.

Ignorance at its finest. I dont live there, but had to service a customers account. The manager isnt very intelligent to say the least. Shes very unfair and completely misunderstood what I was explaining to her so she yelled and hung up. Stay away! This manager needs to lose her job!

These apartments are a safe haven for murderers, drug dealers, and registered sex offenders.

These are the worst apt i have ever lived in. They are not concern about the health of their tenants. I have the worst water leak in my bathroom. I have been trying to get them to fix it for six months now. I have even called the city on them. Something has to change. I need help getting out of here.

It really dont need no rating these apartment is like living in hell.I live here now and have never been treated so poorly. My air went out in March and it got fix just to go out again. I reported April 15th out and still not fixed. Then she talk to you all crazy and cruel. I have done nothing but give her the proper respect when I come to ask for anything. Mrs. Minnie is very disrespectful and her son baby momma is the leasing agent in there who is a pathological liar. And the will talk your business in front of everybody. She wont take you in the office. They are ghetto and dont give a damn about their tenants. When it rain it also rain in my apartment. My garbage disposal has been broken since I been here and have to pour bleach and ammonia in here so it wont smell. I cant wait to get out of here and Im not waiting til November its a wrap!!! Terrible management sill rude Kim is the worse she does not need to work here.. the owner of these apartments should be put in jail he totally is a slum landlord..Thier just rude in that office.. why do they even want to work here if they dont like any of the tenants..if you live there you better hope nothing needs to be fixed..you will never get it fixed and they will talk to you very bad in that office..everyone here should get together and sue the owner and the employees

BAD!!!! If u are trying to just relax after work with your family its not going to happen. Police stay in the apartments, drama, loud music, and the worst part is the roaches. Yea the first 5 monthes you good but after that you about to be coming out of pocket if u want them gone. Staff doest fix anything!!! Keep your money and go somewhere else

These are the worst apartments you can live in. Its plenty of drug heads lots of drug apts. A lot of drama. 95% of the people do not have jobs. They dont fix to much of any thing. The New manager Minnie is a racist shes rude she has nosey snitches who work for her. Shes a lair as well. I have plenty of recordings of her saying racist things. I filing a law suit on the company because of her. I am also going to file one on her. I do not suggest any one move here at all. The units in the back on the 2800 side have bed bugs. The units in The back on 2700 side have metro care patients living there. Its been shootings breaks ins killings car break in my suv has had multi tires cut Windows busted etc. The security guard that works for them Vienct Hobbs is a crook hes very unprofessional. He is married but having sex with one of the tenants nieces. Just save Your money and dont move to any of the apts that LaneStar management owns witch are these spring ridge 1 and 2 pebble cove and all the oasis on Ledbetter all his complex are bad

Possibly the worst apartments in Dallas living wise. BedBugs in the 3 apartment building i stayed in. A/C never work management sucks. Very Disrespectful and Smelly. The manager smelled like a farm everytime i made a complaint. Please Think Twice

I live here now my ac been out four days I have asthma Minnie want fix the ac and my front door is messed up and she told me super glue my door she tell all your buzz she walks around with a baby 9 threatening people she ghetto they do drugs over here the shoot over here nobody is treated right I have wholes in my wall the kitchen sink is clog we had no hot water for 3 days water come back on smell like boo boo trash be every were all her family work in the office she dont like blacks she snorts powder always trying to over charge and put people out they love drama i hate I ever moved in these I will be leaving next month I rather live n a motel water leaks and all the unit is still hot I pay 700

Currently a resident since 5-9-13 it is now 1-23-16 12:27pm I go ta offices ta get new visitors pass guy standing outside tells me he started as maintenence yesterday & they told him would be here & open @ 10:00 refer to time I put he says hes been standing outside every since smh

These apartments are the worse, roaches, bed bugs electric sockets dont work, No mail boxes, police in and out the apartments every night AC comes on and off and running faucets management sucks i advice you to please dont waste your time .

Currently a tenant, my lease is up in February 2016 and I couldnt be happier to get away from this place. Its roach infested, the office staff is rude, and the maintenance staff doesnt fix anything. The time that Ive spent here has been less than desirable. I wouldnt recommend this community to anyone.
