Cantabria is seriously the best place to live! The staff is amazing, the pool is beautiful and don’t get me started on the rooftop!! The views are insane. If you’re looking for anywhere to call home in Dallas it’s for sure Cantabria, I love living here!

My sister has been a tenant at Cantabria of Turtle Creek since 2018. Over the years, Id come to visit and I absolutely fell in love with the space. When I decided to move to Dallas, my sister was ready to move out of her apartment and suggested that I take over her lease. To say that the transfer process was seamless and pleasant would be an understatement. Not only did the leasing office go out of their way to make sure I received the best possible rate, but they even waived the application fee for me! The level of care, and welcome feeling I received upon my arrival has been nothing short of wonderful. The entire staff at Cantabria is just top notch. If you are looking to move to Dallas, Im sorry to say, but this is really the absolute best place in the city. If I could give them 10000 stars, I would. Thank you so much to the amazing staff at Cantabria at Turtle Creek, Im so pleased to be a new tenant!

Incredible Property. Very well maintained, and overall pretty quiet. Nice mix of working professionals, and easy access to Katy Trail. The pool is busy on the weekends, but not too crazy. Its the perfect place for someone who wants to have fun, but also likes it quiet from time to time.

I was looking to move into Dallas and for a new job and found Cantabria. Mikey was super friendly and patient through my decision making process. I see some complaints about car break ins, but honestly that happens at every single apartment everywhere, it’s part of apartment living. Just lock your car and remove your items. I personally felt safe at the property when I toured and looked around the area. I love the apartment finishes and amenities. I like the convenience of the location too. Great place and ask for Mikey!

Shan, the property manager, is incredibly responsive and wonderful to have at the helm. Every single one of the concierges is kind, helpful and very committed to delivering first rate assistance. I highly recommend the Cantabria - not only is its location perfection, but the people there move the property to a class of its own.

This is my third apartment in Dallas and I absolutely LOVE it. So so happy Smart City Locators recommended this place. Neighbors are quiet, no issues with parking, building/amenities are super clean, pool is great, and loveeeee the rooftop!! Only minor complaint is that one of the elevators is out of order every now and then. 10/10 recommend the Cantabria!!!!

Front the start Mikey has been incredibly helpful in getting us a great apartment and ensuring a great experience for move in! Our apartment is what it’s all about will the stellar downtown view. Maintenance is quick and everyone has been very helpful. I knocked off one star because one of our cars has already been broken into and we’ve only liked here a few months. Looking at the reviews this seems to be an issue so hopefully this can prompt at the very least cameras and other safety measures for the property.

QUIET AND SAFE LUXURY NEAR UPTOWN!Ive now been a resident here at Cantabria for 4 months and I couldnt be happier! Moving from out of state is a very daunting process, and to not be able to see your future home in person was really difficult, but Michael Loewinsohn was incredible and the amount of work he did to provide me all the information was so helpful. Turtle Creek is the PERFECT area to combine peace and quiet in an upscale neighborhood as well as access to a great social scene in uptown. The concierge Dara, Jose the maintenance, and the managers Shelly and Shan couldn’t have been nicer as well. I’m so happy to be a part of the Cantabria family for many years to come!

Recently renewed my lease for another year. Cantabria really is Turtle Creeks hidden gem. Cant beat the location, new management/leasing/maintenance teams and the added benefit of the Concierge group! Great amenities (business center, pool, fitness center, parking garage, lobby, Amazon Hub lockers, trash shoots etc... ) nicely appointed apartment homes and great views. Glad I made the move to Cantabria and plan to stay put!

I was looking at living here but after recent reviews on google and yelp, I dont feel like this is a safe place. Ive spoken with people from the office, and a friend that lives here was completely disregarded after multiple residents had their property broken into, and management was basically just like yeah thats not our problem. Photos of break ins and responses are on yelp.EDIT- not sure why you claim to care about your residents safety when you told them blatantly that it wasn’t your problem that multiple residents had break ins, and that their safety isn’t your responsibility.

We have lived here for a year now and love it! We are signing a new lease for this next year because we are so happy- especially with management and staff. The building is wonderful- 250 units but it never feels big or anything. The building and surrounding area is always impeccably clean and very safe! It’s easy to find a parking spot and catch the elevator even on high floor. The building is super quite because it’s concrete built, and the management couldn’t be more responsive, helpful and easy to talk with. Oh, and the location is superb as well!!

I absolutely love living here! Amazing location - walking distance to restaurants, but far enough away for it to feel residential. Michael was my leasing specialist, and he was so helpful with getting my apartment! Always very prompt to answer questions and make sure I got what I needed. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful community to call home! The neighborhood is a safe and calm location and great if you have a dog and love to go for walks. Katy trail is up the street as well as restaurants etc. The staff is great! I love that Cantabria has a concierge, dry cleaning, Roof top Lounge and a by far the nicest and cleanest dog park!!! I really enjoyed Michael, the leasing specialist. His knowledge of the building and how the property works is refreshing and I love that he wasnt a typical Leasing agent only trying to sell- sell -sell mind set, he actually treated me like a human looking for my next home! Very professional and had a great tour with him! I recommend this community the new property management is one of the reasons I chose to come visit. I saw that theres negative reviews, but that was for the old management. The maintenance team is quick and very polite and there are plenty of working cameras in the garage and around the Property- so the girl with the negative review below doesnt know what shes talking about, plus they have courtesy officers! For folks looking for a great location, a calm building, luxury feel and a very polite team of folks working at the leasing office, come to Cantabria and visit Michael, he will be happy to go above and beyond for you!

Very unsatisfied with the concierge hours/customer service/maintenance here. There is no 24 hour concierge or anyone on site to assist with problems or emergencies at the residence. “Emergency/after hours maintenance” response time is unbelievably slow considering how much we pay to live here. These apartment doors lock automatically and if you get locked out get ready to wait an hour plus for anyone to let you back in your apartment. (Going on 3 times now) Apartment doors shouldn’t lock automatically, especially if there’s no front desk person available to let you back in at all hours of the day. If they want to be like a hotel with the automatic doors, they need to have 24 service downstairs to accommodate to issues or accidents that could happen. Just my opinion.

Lincoln Property Management took over late April 2019 and have been awesome. The apartment complex is clean and well kept daily. The dog park is great and the community is super friendly. Only concern is key fobs occasionally stop working - usually when I’ve done a key release and my key fob deactivates at midnight (seems to be a training issue). There’s an emergency number you can call if that happens but is inconvenient. I believe they’ve fixed this now and it hasn’t happened to me in over 3 months. This wouldn’t deter me from living here though - staff are friendly and helpful and any maintenance requests are done same day. Elevators are quick, which is great for a 9 story building. They do break down occasionally but are usually fixed same or next day depending on timing of day. No issues in the parking garage and guest parking is super easy which is a plus in Uptown.

It has really been a tough time for everyone during COVID.. the staff Grant, Zach, Michael and Lamiyra have gone above and beyond to keep us informed and help to keep our Bldg safe and clean.. I love living here! The apartments are beautifully done and insulated really well so I very rarely hear any noise from my neighbors or people that live above me. The hallways and common areas are always clean, the office staff is friendly and helpful, and the maintenance staff is amazing. Maintenance requests are almost always completed the same day I submit them or one day later at the most. Some of the negative reviews below are regarding the old management team, but it’s totally changed and I haven’t experienced any of the problems that people below were having with the previous management. I’ve had zero issues with anyone on staff and I think the new management team is awesome!! They also work with a service that will come into your apartment and do chores for you (dry cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.) which is incredibly helpful for people who have really busy schedules. All in all I think it’s a great place to live and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

My sister was visiting from out of town and parked in the guest parking lot- had her car broken into! In one night! If you want to want make it up to your residences- listen to the reviews before the apartment does a 360. Thieves are everywhere and especially at this apartment- no one will pay these prices anymore.

Let me just say that I am so happy I called and Michael Skrobeck picked up the phone. He was the reason why we chose Cantabria and plus the unit includes a yard. I was so nervous and stressed on trying to find a unit that could accommodate our needs. Our main focus was to find a unit with a very large yard. When he said that there are units with very large yards on the fourth floor I was a little confused how a yard could be on the 4th floor, but then when he spoke about the unit over the phone, email us the video he created of the floorplan and from watching we came to tour within 30 minutes, he showed us the actual yard we would be living in and we fell in love and leased on spot. He knew the properties so well. He said he’s only been at a Cantabria for not even a year. I thought he would have been there for years from his knowledge.I’m very surprised he’s not the manager. Someone give him the job! He knew every answer to our many questions, he knew how the community works to the history of the building. In past apartments we have lived in, we have never said yes to a unit from the first tour. Typically we like to tour the property at least three times and we did have other candidates. We’re so happy that we chose Cantabria and we look forward to moving in. Bravo again to Michael!

I cannot express how great the experience has been for my partner and I so far.We’ve lived in the same apartment community since 2013 and have always been hesitant to move fearing we would end up living in a bad community, poor management etc.We finally decided it was time to upsize into a larger space and wanted a yard for our dog. A friend of ours casually mentioned checking out Cantabria. I ended up leaving a message with concierge and received a call back within the hour from Michael S. He was extremely helpful and had exactly what we were looking for! I toured the same day and left with great instructions on how to secure the unit after leaving.We applied that evening and Michael followed up with us afterwards showing me his dedication and excellent customer service! This week the property manager contacted to confirm and follow up on our desired move in date. Again, the follow through was by far better than our current community management.Even though we haven’t moved in yet it already feels like home. We are so excited to move into this unique and spacious unit with a one of a kind 4th floor fenced in yard!

Recently moved here from San Antonio in June 2020. COVID really took this country by surprise and I couldnt even come see the apartments because both San Antonio and Dallas were on lock down in March and April. However, Michael was such an awesome help and guide. This is my first apartment and he put my worries at ease. He took video of the apartment layout and of the whole apartment complex. So I signed, unseen. When I arrived it was exactly as advertised. The Dog park is amazing, many many dog families here. Super close to the Katy trail and Reverchon park and turtle creek obviously. It is a quite little place nestled in the heart of Dallas!! All the staff have been great at welcoming me to Dallas and into the community. Grant (manager) has done a great job Keeping this place organized and communicating the steps being taken to help keep us safe during COVID.

Wonderful place to live. We love it here. Staff has been very helpful and maintenance handled our requests very quickly. The building is well kept and clean. Very quiet! This is an extremely well built building. We never hear our neighbors. Close to a ton of restaurants and bars. Also, we never have an issue with parking in the garage. No matter what time we get home there is always available parking spots. We have lived in a lot of apartments in this area. Cantabria is by far the best. It has met all of our expectations.

Updated 1.10.2021: wrote a review previously which can be found below however I thought Id add to it after recent events. The lack of security has SERIOUSLY reached problems. This happened on 1/9/2021. MULTIPLE cars broken into and still ZERO cameras in the garage. Also the email they sent to their residents letting us know they have ZERO safety measures & dont intend on getting any. Honestly, what a joke. Take your money elsewhere if you are looking at living here.In response to their comment: I did contact the authorities but not having a security officer or cameras is ASKING for trouble and extremely unsafe for your residents that you do not seem to have any concern over. The manager refuses to speak with residents and the rest of your office staff has no answers so Id rather not waste my time to be told the same BS. Commenting the same thing on every negative review isnt gunna work anymore. Do better.I would NOT recommend living here. Zero security cameras once inside the building, and they do not have a courtesy officer. For the price you pay to live here, you would think theyd have their renters safety a priority. Cars have been broken into in the garage. I had someone beating on my door at 11pm and blocking the peep hole. Glad it wasnt a true emergency since security is non-existing. Elevators are constantly broken and animals continue to use the restroom inside the building. God forbid something happen to someone in the garage or hallways there will be zero video footage. Went to the front desk, but basically told they have no officer and no cameras, so dont waste your time here. Management always seems to have an attitude.

My spouse and I moved to the Cantabria a few months ago, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience so far. The management team is courteous and responsive, and they have gone out of their way to ensure we feel welcome in our new place. Grant, Michael, and the entire team have been a five-star experience so far.We came from a home to an apartment, so we had a lot of concerns about what it would be like using the public spaces in light of COVID-19. Not only is the community kept tidy overall, but also we see the staff frequently cleaning, scrubbing, and vacuuming the premises. They work very hard. Of course, there is only so much the team can do when you have residents constantly going in and out of doors or pushing elevator buttons.I’m a germaphobe, so I take COVID precautions seriously. As I see it, we as residents share the responsibility of keeping our place safe and clean, such as frequently washing our hands and wearing a mask in the hallways and elevators -- even if the law doesn’t require it. Between the thorough hygiene practices of the management and cleaning teams, as well as my own common sense practices, I feel just as safe living here as I did in my former home.

Management is very responsive, and maintenance requests complete usually the same day requested. Very dog friendly building and site. Amazon Locker on site is convenient. Views toward The Mansion property are beautiful. Quiet building with nice neighbors. The only issue is that the elevators break about every other week.

We fell in love with Cantabria. We thought it had everything we wanted. We didnt lease because Im just too picky- but ill probably lease in the summertime. Im coming from a house and transitioning to an apartment. So, I cant get everything I wanted like before. Out of all places, Cantabria will be the one I will lease at once I am mentally ready to transition from my home of 20+ years into an apartment lifestyle.I LOVED the big balconies on the 4th floor. That sold us!! We wanted the big balcony, with a certain color scheme facing a certain location and we needed a very specific sized room. My husband and I bought this giant set and were not sure if It will fit inside the specific home we toured. Cantabria has it all from amenities to the big balcony. Just not all of my must haves were going to be checked in one apartment alone. Again, it is me being too picky. We came in about 2 weeks ago and met with Michael and he is fabulous and very patient. Great guy and great asset to Cantabria!This gentleman, we thought he was the manger- I mean he had all the knowledge about the building and neighborhood. He was great with the numbers and facts and we easy to work with and he was personable! Its nice to be remembered and greeted with a hug! Hes a fabulous leasing specialist. He went above and beyond and took his time with us. I swear, any other leasing agent wouldve ended the tour and thought I was too much for them.My husband and I later came back today and really wanted to lease the 972 sq ft overlooking downtown and with big balcony and we were with Michael. We came back partly because of him. Michael was able to connect with the current resident living in the unit we wanted and she was moving out of Cantabria for another state and she allowed us tour inside her home. The space was perfect except the bedroom was too small for our big furniture set and were not giving up our furniture and Michael measured the walls for us and went out of his way with us, so we feel bad that we sorta wasted his time, but he was persistent to help us.He was honest and took us to 3 homes total and we had to go back and see the same homes a few more times, plus we were late to our appointment at 5pm Thank him for his patience.We love Cantabria and we will come back when a home with a large balcony with a larger bedroom is available. Again, I applaud the service provided from Michael and how patient we was with us during our nearly 1 hr 1/2 tour close to closing time. The property was beautiful and location is way better than living in downtown currently.We will check in with Michael close to June. Thank you again for the tour and to the service!

A woman is smoking on the south side of the building daily. She sits on the curb, which is 10ft from the building. Smoking policy is not enforced. Also, they’re about to start a new development right next to us. Hotel, condos, and office building. Concerned about losing my peace and quiet.

I love living here! Its beautiful inside and out. Its on a quiet street. EAsy to get to. Really good security with concierge service. The walls are super soundproof which is usually the worst part about living in an apartment but here I never hear any noises from any sides. Its worth every penny!

Terrible, staff is great when leasing. But, after u move in get ready. Paul building manager is incomptant, rude. Constant car break ins and theft. No care for resident concern/problem. Everything is always broken and never managements fault. Residents are basically held hostage by management that walks away and hides in their office? Enough is enough. Just look at the previous reviews the last 2 years.

This place is so rundown and not maintained at all.. rust on the workout equipment, dollied wine all over the entry and thus in the elevators.. dings in every door and scuffs on every wall. All it takes is a little 409 to clean around the handles around the door. This is nothing compared to its competitors. I suggest taking your money and running. I don’t post, I don’t review.. this place sucks. Bad management. It’s bad.

Tried to visit the property and there was no place to park (construction at the apartments), so I called the leasing office. They asked if I had an appointment and I did not. They then said since it was the weekend, they were busy. The only problem is I was there on Thursday morning and I wasnt aware that Thursday was now part of the weekend. After that, they still werent helpful so I left. To me, that was a sign of the level of customer service that I could expect. Another person may experience something different, but you only get one chance to make a first impression and my experience was well below average.

Property has gone downhill over the past year. Beautiful apartments however common areas are dirty, garbage in the compactor rooms, elevators break down all the time, garage doors always break, and property managers rude and not very competent. Rent is way overpriced for what you get.
