This property has really made my move experience very horrible!! I signed my lease a month early and they still didn’t have my unit ready. I was called 2 days before moving to tell me I couldn’t move in because cabinets weren’t completed. They had plenty of time to make ready. This is poor management and contracting.I had no where to go and the options were to wait 2-3 weeks or get a refund! These people obviously do not care about people! Who tells someone that? Simply heartless. And I Still have no remote access either.
I moved into my apartment in June and I love it. At first I was a little nervous due to the reviews that I read, however, Im glad that I didnt allow them to persuade my decision. I have submitted a few maintenance requests and they were completed within a day or two
The staff is amazing I love the maintenance guys came and took care of everything fast and accurate!
Thank you have for having Gus and Antonio here they are the A team in my books please keep them here they’re doing a wonderful job
I must say kudos to Gus and Antonio they are the best maintenance man I have ever ever run across they are super great super I love them both thank you for fixing everything I needed to be fixed love you yeah I’ll come here yeah we get that experience to those of my guys thanks
I really like living here in advenir on Addison. I relocated almost a year ago, and choosing this community was a good choice. From the location, to the great staff, it’s truly been a good transition. I appreciate a staff who takes their time to listen to my concerns, take care of all my needs. Sheena, Vikki & Monica are awesome. I highly recommend leasing here.
Gus is a great worker and I appreciate that he fixed my worker orders efficiently
The NEW MANAGERS WERE VERY UNDERSTANDING and came to my unit to inspect for themselves. Both managers verbalized what steps they will take to rectify the problem and they were very kind. I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the new management team for your response!!!
I love living here. The staff that are in the leasing office are very helpful. Monica is always ready to help and did a great job touring me on my appartment tour!
Do not rent here. Advenir on Addison has had multiple contests for reviews. Since I dont know anyone that thinks they can win a contest with something negative, I would be careful. My wife and I moved here based on what those reviews said. By the time we found they had contests for these reviews and the reviews were false, it was too late. When we arrived, our apartment was dirty, and I had clean it as we moved in. There is mold in the A/C system vents, and after a complaint, somebody came out and cleaned the mold off the vents.Advenir maintenance sends people out, but they do the bare minimum to cover the issue, like the mold that was growing in the bathroom, they rubbed caulking over it and left. There were carpet issues since we moved in and since they did not want to repair it, they sent someone who tried to restretch it when the carpet would not stay in place, he cut some of the mesh backing off to hide some of the issues, then drove nails and staples through it to hold it. It has now unraveled again and is showing the tack strip that it should be attached.Advenir management, thank you for the empty response, but we have already talked about most of these issues right after we moved in. Poor workmanship, is the issue here. Its why the front pool has green algae growing and trash thrown in it; The back pool is also full of leaves and trash that they do not cleanout.Shoddy work is why I have to keep a rug over the entrance to my kids room to try and keep them from injury. It all boils down to shoddy work, from the top management to the maintenance and contractors they hire.New informationAccording to Advenir policy, we have to keep our bikes and tools inside the apartment because, at Advenir on Addison, you cant keep anything in your garage but your car and nothing on your patio, but patio furniture. All the interior photos were taken as we moved in. Be sure and look at all the photos. The simple answer is, they do not care.Update 10/17/2019Advenir on Addison has not made any repairs to the mold that has returned in the A/C ventilation system or the carpet in our apartment. All issues still persistUpdate 11/19/2019The grass that they planted they are killing out driving over it with their golf carts.I posted pictures of a snip-it of my contract that states what the average water bill here would be. I also posted a photo of what our actual bill for utilities is — two hundred two dollars for water, sewer, and trash.I have posted a photo of the porch behind me so you can see the dog feces that is being washed off onto the ground and everything below. They have not repaired any of the exposed electrical issues or open sewer lines outside. They have only dug deeper holes and left them, and the utility bills Advenir charges are outrageously high.Update 2/18/2019I have now had contact with Advenir on Addisons corporate officer Shauna Bounds and their legal representative, and one thing is plain and simple, they do not care about the issues that they are allowing to exist here.None of the significant issues have been repaired. There is still mold in our A/C system, and I hear that there are other tenants with mold as well. The carpet has not been repaired either.Update 04/13/2020Nothing has changed at Advenir on Addison except in the recent climate we had to advance our move out time. We did not want to be locked in an apartment with mold in the ventilation systems as it is hazardous to your health.
I love living here and love the staff. Sheena and Vicky in the leasing office are so helpful and make you feel so comfortable. Sheena addressed any of my concerns during my leasing period and was so attentive!
I went on a tour of the place with Vikki Savage and she was very friendly and I had an excellent experience. It made the place feel very welcoming!!!
The assistant manager Vicky was very friendly and did us the favor of letting us view our apartment so close to closing
Great living and awesome neighbors and pleasant management and staff. Thank you Advenir on Addison for 3 wonderful years. You welcomed me and my family and made living here wonderful and very safe.
I feel as though it’s decreasing... the management and the maintenance... they do not respond with urgency... I have been locked out due the continuous issues with my garage, trash not being taken out or maintenance walking around putting things in garbage can
Due to the weather water was turned off. Received email yesterday that the plumbers were turning on the water. Still no water, they refuse to answer the phones. Very unprofessional might I add in the midst of a crisis. I was told the plumber went to the office to complete repairs and the office staff was gone! How ridiculous is that? No updates on whos water has been turned on and what buildings are still pending. This is exactly why I refuse to renew my lease!
Vicky the assistant manager was very friendly and even let us tour our apartment last minute. Definitely recommend her and the complex !
Gus in maintenance helped me tremendously getting my garage door working. He was very friendly and responded immediately with my request
Please avoid renting here! landlord wont acknowledge a raccoon, possum infestation on the roof of my apartment? I’ve sent videos and pictures, we even bought a cage trap to try and remove the animals. Management has not done anything about it very sad I’ve called and complain no response or I’m put on hold until there closed. Yikes beware Im staying up all times of the night trying to run away raccoons.
I have been here going on our years I’ve or take The management staff here is very attentive to the needs that I have expressed. They helped me in many ways to make sure that everything was taken cared of.I dont see myself moving anytime soon.
We are current tenants and have been here for almost 2 years. Management has changed hands twice that I’m aware of but it seems we finally have a good management team now. They are friendly and always have snacks for my kids. They host various events with snacks - it’s the little things that are nice. The pool has been refinished, the roofs have been replaced. We have a valet trash service that picks up every Sun-Thursday night which is nice. They provided us with large trash cans that we put out by the garage. I would prefer to keep it by the doorways again though as it seems they keep rolling around the parking lot due to winds. The complex has doggy bag stations around the complex which is nice (especially if everyone would use them). Maintenance is slower than it used to be but they are quick to respond in emergency situations. Parking can be hectic at times and you won’t always get a space close to your door. Every unit does have a garage though which is great! The garages all have entrances directly to the apartment. There is a small dog park with some agility equipment which was great until my dogs got fleas from there... needless to say we haven’t taken the dogs back to it in a year. It may be better now with the new management but I just don’t want to go though it again! That was a costly and annoying doggy playtime. The only other thing that drives me crazy is that my amazon packages are 98% of the time delivered to the office and I don’t always make it there on time to pick up my packages before they close so my “prime” feels wasted! All in all, it’s a pretty good place to live and we are so close to the DNT, PGBT and any restaurant, store or fast food place you need!
I’ve been living here going on 2 years now and my fiancé and I loved it when we first moved in and the staff have always been amazing and they take great care of their residents and are very involved.
I love my apartment with attached garage. Unique architecture inside and lots of storage. Staff are great. They helped me so much while I was recovering from back surgery and knee surgery. Fabulous pool with lap lanes and grilling areas around the complex. Two activities scheduled monthly making it easy to get to know my neighbors. Best place I have lived in Texas.
Love my new new home!Staff &maintenance are wonderful. I moved in about a month ago and have met more neighbors here than in my last 2 complexes. Super pet friendly, and the pet owners seem to be very responsible too. I will be here for many years to come.Lots of restaurants and shopping close by.
After learning that my job will be relocating my family, I was very nervous about moving to a new state. I called several apartment communities and home listings. Unfortunately, I wasnt very impressed with the customer service given. I finally called Advenir On Addison and spoke with a lady named Sierra! She was definitely a breath of fresh air. She was very knowledgeable about the complex and surrounding areas. Sierra also gave me daycare options for my daughter. I felt like she really cared. I cant wait to visit. Based on the display of customer service, I will be leasing here in early spring.
I just moved in a few days ago but I already love this place so much more than my last residence! Staff has been extremely helpful starting the moment we stopped in for information. When I did move in, I had a small issue with my closet door and staff immediately made sure it was addressed. It even got fixed the same day! Its very quiet around here during the day and night. Ive also walked my dog multiple times around the complex and it was still very quiet. No apartment is perfect and Im sure someone will always find an issue with something. Im more than happy with my experience so far though and I hope it continues!
My girl and I moved here almost 3 years ago. Due to work requirements, I travel a lot now and it leaves her to man the fort 85% of the time. She adores the place. Shes always bragging about how the office staff communicates promptly and the unique resident events they provide. (We never experienced that anywhere) When I am home, I always utilize the fitness facility and its always well kept. You immediately feel a welcoming ambiance when driving through he gates (which are always working by the way, thats a luxury within itself) My girlfriend loves enjoying her little furniture and set up on the balcony in the evenings and even when we FT I always mention how chill and quite it sounds (even on the weekends) Of course you hear music here and there or a dog or two barking from time to time, but you cant expect the luxury of a single family home in a multifamily environment. Besides, they are a pet friendly property and I remember even seeing dog treats in the office for pets. I remember we brought my 2 year old niece when we first visited and the the nice lady with the dark hair printed out a coloring sheet to occupy her while she gave us information. Talk about life saver! We even told her parents how genius that was!! Neighbors are courteous when you see them and you can truly tell that this is a working community. Did I mention how cool the office staff is? So professional and always seem to go above and beyond. Not like brown-nosing, but more like genuine concern and familiar with what goes on with their property. I honestly feel that a few of these reviews that weve read are probably due to someone not having their way and throwing a tantrum. Weve been here a while and never have had a problem that wasnt addressed. But you cant please everyone and thats ok. Were happy and if youre considering the place, youd love it here. Its really hard not to.
Bad place to live. There’s mold in the air vents, maintenance people slam doors and ignores your request to close doors gently. Trash doesn’t always get picked up and you’ll get fined if you leave unpicked up trash out. Mail sometimes gets mixed up or missing altogether. I do not recommend living here.
Just moved in so far so good, very quiet community and great and helpful staff and I love my townhome as well. Everything was clean and in functioning order upon our arrival.👌🏾Thank you
Love the apartments here. The amenities are amazing. I like how close we are to everything. Staff is phenomenal! They are always will to answer questions and they get repairs done within a day or two of request!
Open parkingGatedTownhome style with attached garage.Lovely areaSafe to live.Good pool. Its a pretty nice place. Though $1200/single.
I have lived here for over a year now and my experience has been very unpleasant. Management does not care about our safety. The courtesy office never shows up when you call. The place is gated but degenerates from the extended stay just push the gate open and slide in. Every Friday someones car is ransacked or stolen. Neighbors scream at the top of their lungs, and people have loud parties. I. Have complained to management about my concerns and all I get is Call the courtesy officer. They do not care, all they want is your money. One more thing, management offers incentives to those who leave 5 star reviews.
I passed Addison Village on my way to work one day. I was very impressed with the serene feeling I felt when I passed. I immediately told my wife we had to go and tour the complex. After the tour we were both impressed. We completed an application immediately. This is the best place I have had the opportunity to reside. I would recommend Addison Village to any one looking for a relaxing well maintained place to live.
Just moved into this community, but I do like it so far. I am happy with all of the amenities, but my favorite is the attached garage. We relocated from California and Gloria did everything to make our move seamless. The entire staff was very welcoming when I arrived to pick up my keys. The area is great from what we can tell. I will definitely update my review after my lease is up in 10 months but the move in process is great!
Enjoy living here. Very quiet and always having resident activities. Good place to live.
My wife and I have lived here for right around a year now. Whats unique vs. most places you rent is this place actually feels like a home. You have a garage for plenty of storage and your own entry vs. the typical hallway style shared living experience of most apartments. Would highly recommend, amenities are great as well. Gym is definitely above most and has a sauna.
I am so pleased with my new home at Villages of Addison. I loved the property when I first visited and I am so glad to be a resident here. From the pleasant leasing staff to the friendly neighbors, it makes being here even better. I also love that they provide the convenience of having both washer/dryer along with your private garage! I am truly home!
The people working are nice but maintenance can take a while. If you are first floor you can hear your upstairs neighbors. The grounds are nice. Even with these issues it is overall one of the best places I have lived. Would definitely live here again.
I just moved into this complex and overall this is a great place to live. The complex is well maintained and maintenance complaints are resolved quickly if the complaint clearly describes the problem. The apartments are renovated with granite counter tops, new carpet and new laminate flooring throughout. The staff is professional, helpful and went out of the way to get me on boarded and hand me the keys. My only complaint is with noise from the apartment above me where kids have turned it into a playground, startling me and waking me up in the middle of the night and weekend mornings. If not for the noise, I would love to live here long term. The fees are explained upfront, if one takes the effort to ask. 5 stars for the apartment, maintenance, quality of apartment and staff but 3 stars for the living experience. If Advenir could increase enforcement, this would be the best apartment complex in the region.
I just moved in recently and everything has been amazing! The office staff helped me with my concerns on all matters. The last complex I moved in hid fees, never had maintenance staff available, and kept the grounds awful. Jessica the property manager could not be more helpful with the move in process, not to mention Tessa and Diana in the office who helped me lease an apartment over the phone. Tessa went as far to face time with me considering I was relocating from another state. Talk about customer service. The grounds look great, very quiet, and pet friendly. Even though I do not have a pet, they cater to those who do and do not have a issue with irresponsible pet owners! Thank god. Coming from a customer service industry it is more likely to receive a bad review than a good one based on the fact that angry disgruntled people tend to want to raise hell instead of communicating concerns. I try to make a point to praise through reviews whenever possible so it evens out the negative. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!
I recently relocated from Arizona with family and enjoying our stay in the Villages of Addison. This place is quite green and secure with close proximity to retail stores and office. Our unit is extremely well ventilated due to large windows and attached garage space is a plus! The club house has lot of options (swimming, pool table, gym etc.) and quite well maintained. The management staff, Ms. Brittany Newton, ensured that we settled well and provided extremely superior customer service. Looking forward to a great stay ahead.
Great Leasing Office Staff! Super Friendly and always helpful! I would resign a lease and refer friends here as long as Im in the area! Love the community too, its very safe, private, and affordable
Bait and switchWhen me and my roommate moved in, we were given a certain price for rent. They made us believe that the price was with trash, water all that hoopla. Its even in writing on our lease.4 months later our rent goes up $100 dollars, and when I asked the new property manager why this is happening. She stated thats with water. I told her that we were led to believe the price we were given at sign up was with water included. And here exactly words were sounds like a lack of communication. The last time I checked, if your company presents a price, especially in writing, you honor it.Be aware of this place. Im currently talking to my attorney. This is very unethical.
Loud neighbors, Unfriendly neighbors, Gunshots.I have lived alone in these town homes for over 10 years, I do not like this place anymore. The management is de-spiteful and condescending. Neighbors kids are loud all throughout the night, I have asked many times for them to please be mindful of neighbors then they continue. I just had a lady in a silver cadillac drive around me flipping me off and i am fed up. I will not be renewing my lease.
I moved to Villages of Addison on January 2016 with my three year old son. I initially noticed the polite staff that greeted me as I walked in. Very friendly and Very professional, which is a definite plus for property management. The approval process was completed in less than 3 days, I was amazed at the quality of service that was implemented from beginning. As I noticed my lease expiring in Mid-Sept I quickly approach management to re-sign for another year. I really enjoy this community it feels like home.
We have lived here for a couple heres now. We have the largest 2 bed room available. Great location! The elementary school is phenomenal! The appliances and floors are modern and updated. The ladies in the office are always so helpful! The maintenance staff is quick about fixing things as needed. This really is a great place to live!
I have been living here at Villages of Addison for a little over a year now and I must say the community, mostly management, has gotten better with time. When I first moved in, I had so many issues with management. Ever since Gloria and Brittany took over, it has been smooth sailing. The community itself is very nice and friendly. I love my apartment and the fact that I have my own personal garage. I would say the property could improve on their lawn maintenance and either lowering their monthly pet rent or honoring the fact that it is so high due to activities for the pets. I have not seen or heard of one activity since I have lived here. Washer and dryer come with the units, along with balcony/porch which is also great. Overall, I think this is a great place to live, great location, and now great management.
This place is horrible. They’ve changed management half a dozen times since I moved in over three years ago. Each one is worse than the last. It’s so hard to find real estate in this area because it goes as quickly as it comes but if you see something you’d better hop on it or at least find another apartment community other than this. If you can afford this rent then you can afford something nicer for the money. They have been doing roofing work for two months although they put up notes that said that they would only be in front of my unit for 24/48 hours, they’ve been back and forth in front of it for TWO months. I’ve had to have tires plugged 3 times and one had to be replaced. I have literally seen the roofers that are supposed to be cleaning up the nails rolling the magnet and talking on the cell phone at the same time so I’m sure that’s why nails are ALL over the parking lot. I told the office once and they took note of it, were supposed to reach out to me about it, but I never heard a thing. I’ll be so glad when I’m out of this place. I’m over it!
The Villages of Addison has been my home for close to two years and has been a great experience. The layout of the community with abundant trees has sort of a village feel and is great for talking walks...especially for our 4-legged friends. The club house is beautiful and the pool area and fitness facility are a great plus. With the the North Dallas Tollway and Bush freeway just around the corner, the convenience factor is a plus for your morning commute. And finally, Tessa and Jessica in the management office are the BEST! They are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile in the best interest of the tenant.
The staff is very friendly. Upon walking into the leasing office, youre greeted with a smile, which is very comforting. The apartments themselves give you a feeling of home. The look, landscape, and everything is well-kept. I went to look at the apartments with a friend and ended up submitting an application myself. Jessica and Diana were a pleasure to work with.
I love it here and the only reason I am moving is because I got a house with a backyard and a doggie door. I will miss my neighbors and the awesome dog park. The staff is phenomenal. They were super helpful every step of the way. If ever I needed to move back into a luxury townhouse, this is the community for me due to quality and service provided!I really dont have anything negative to say. I would definitely recommend this place. Almost everyone I have met, has lived here for 2-4 years.
Overall a very good place to live. The grounds are well maintained. Most renters are nice people. The apartments are well laid out with the bonus of an attached garage. The office staff are generally very helpful and accommodating to your needs.
I have been living here since May of 2015. I love my apartment and I am very happy with the new management. They are very professional and friendly. The maintenance people, especially Will is great in resolving the issue in a timely manner. The pool is always sparkling clean and the ground is well maintained.Crystal who is the new manager is very friendly and take every issue seriously and personally ensures the problems are solved.I highly recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for an apartment where safety and comfort are the priorities.
I would highly recommend you giving this property a chance now with the recent change of management at the property. Despite below reviews the new property manager Nola is honest and detailed (which I like) . Very fair and a great experience. Myself and other Coworkers with their families as well are excited to reside here and call it home.
I have loved my time at Villages. The office staff is very nice and helpful and Will is Awesome! I My apartment is just perfect. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about?
This is just a comment about costumer service. Jonah is always nice and attentive. He takes care of any issues as soon as possible and does it on a cheerful way. I am glad they have people like him helping us residents.
I recently came in for a tour of the property. I was surprised how much time they spend getting to know exactly what I was looking for, Ive been running into places that had nothing to show and just gave me floor plans. The girls in the office where genuinely nice and pleasant to talk to and the property was very well kept!
During my apartment hunt the office staff at the Villages of Addison went above and beyond to meet my needs. Brittany was awesome and very diligent in getting me the space I wanted and at a price that I felt comfortable with! I highly recommend this complex! Great work Brittany.
We highly recommend this complex. They gave us a good deal and worked with us to get us into the complex. The apartment itself is very nice, in a great location, convenient to the tollway, and management is very friendly and responsive!! Includes an attached garage and small storage room which is a great amenity. The pool areas, and other common areas are also very nice.
We received an email last week from apartment staff that there have been 4 break-ins in 7 days! No details, no updates; they dont care. All of the positive reviews on here have been bought by $20 Starbucks gift cards. Just wait - those same tenants will be the ones complaining on here in a month or two. Was that coffee worth it?CODE ENFORCEMENT VIOLATION: I have gone 30 DAYS WITHOUT HOT WATER. This is marketed as a luxury apartment complex. Even if it wasnt one should never have to live without hot water. I cant shower, wash dishes or clothes. Can you imagine? The whole Thanksgiving long weekend with no water, two weeks before that and still I have none with no answer in sight.YOU DONT WANT TO LIVE HERE.Run Run Run Run Run away as fast as you can from this complex. Residents are moving out as fast as they can. RUDE front office, they add arbitrary fees to your bill, maintenance takes forever. Every good review has been bought by a $20 gift card. YOU DONT WANT TO LIVE HERE.It makes me really sad how easily peoples reviews can be bought with a gift card. The trash and water are now over $100 monthly. So, whatever your lease amount is, add another $100. Im not kidding.I used to feel safe here; no longer. Many incidences. This place makes bad hire after bad hire. Crystal the property manager is HORRIBLE. She acts like a Warden. Believe me, we are not the customers. You will feel like a bother or burden to them.It takes several weeks to get even the smallest maintenance problem solved.I suggest you look elsewhere...I will be out as soon as I can.
I want to personally take the time to sincerely thank Ms. Brittany for the professionalism and humanitarianism she offered me while I was in a moment of distress. I was in a state of emergency as I suddenly found myself homeless with nowhere to go; I was limited on options and losing hope. Thankfully Ms Brittany worked quickly and diligently to get me into an apartment here at the Village of Addison; I can never thank her enough.
I just moved in and I liked the apartment. Staff is very friendly and cooperative. Community is quite silent and peaceful. Gym and Common area is very beautiful and a good place to hangout.

I think this place is good value for what you get. I did lots of comparison shopping and this place has as much, if not more, to offer than most. The complex is nice, updated, quiet, and office staff has been very nice. It feels more like a home than an apartment.
Really like living here at the Villages of AddisonThe office staff is very helpful and courteous and if I ever have a problem it is handled and fixed in a very timely matter. The grounds are always clean and looks very nice all the timeIf you need a place to live this is the place !
Been here 5 months and very happy with my apartment. It is a little expensive but you know expenses before you move in if you make sure to ask the right questions. Remember, it is still your responsibility to do all the research prior to signing a lease. Im happy I moved in here
I recently moved in, and my experience with the office staff was amazing. They help and had constant communication during the leasing process as I was not in town during the time. The grounds are always well kept. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Im really glad that I decided to make the villages of Addison my home.
I have been here for about 4 months now and I will honestly say I was very impressed with what I saw and my apartment looks great, but....as you probably already noticed, the maintenance crew or should I say one person is not that great at all. EVERY single time I ask for a request, it will be days or even a week later when it is completed even after they told me it would be taken care of on a specific date. The staff may seem friendly but you literally have to keep calling back and follow up multiple times to get a request in and sometimes the request you put in is not really put in.....so please make sure you follow up when making a request.Im not so sure if I want to renew next year
I am new to the community, but so far, so good! They have been friendly and quick to attend to any needs that we have had. I look forward to making this home!
I have recently returned to the Villages of Addison. Upon my return I found the property management to be more efficient than when I lived here 3+ years ago. The office staff was very proficient at making my move in trouble free. They are all hard working and made every effort to make the move-in as painless as possible I would recommend the property to everyone looking for a nice apartment in the Addison TX area.
I just did a visit and signed my new lease but like everyone I did my research and the reviews from this Tabitha tenant caught me off guard. I mean everywhere on the internet nothing but hundreds of comments weird repulsive comments at that. But in my opinion it’s a very quiet neighborhood I even drove through late at night to check it out and it was quiet and quaint. The office staff has been very helpful on many occasions and the neighbors also seemed nice. As far as my concerns I hope I’m not living anywhere close to this Tabitha tenate thats not good energy and from the photos there home looks very filthy other then that it’s a beautiful property.
Weve just moved in and couldnt be happier. The move in process was simple and the office staff were great! Great neighborhood and great neighbors!
I love it here! From day one I have felt right at home. The staff is wonderful! The amenities are great and are ones that I actually use!
Neighbors garage was right below my bedroom. Would shake the walls at 6 a.m. every day, it didnt help this neighbor had strange habits and used the garage like a front door. The gate openers dont work for the rear gate and its ALWAYS broken, you have to enter through the front which is terrible if you live in the back of the complex. Trash service is expensive and often piles up at the one dumpster, the truck comes by late at night and is obscenely loud.I was moving into a house and didnt know my closing date, so I delayed my move out notice as long as possible. They require 2 months notice for moving out and I was only able to give them 1-month notice. Instead of helping me out they charged me double the rent for a full month I wasnt even living there. The management didnt care, wasnt helpful, and couldnt get my name right. The rent isnt a good value plus all the fees. You have to pay for the annoying trash service which is $50 a month, several water fees each month, and they charge you a convenience fee for paying online which is now the only option. I was charged $90 dollars when moving out because my apartment smelled like a pet. First I never had pets, then I had the already clean carpet cleaned before moving out and the apartment was spotless... they didnt care and charged me anyway. They didnt work with me for a single issue and look for any reason to charge you more money.I would recommend Camden or Westbridge in this area, I wouldnt recommend this place to an enemy.
Just recently moved in and am absolutely sure I made the decision of choosing the right complex. I visited about 8 complexes when I was apartment hunting and this one was the best value for what you pay for. The front desk staff is always willing to help and has fast and great customer service. For the area itself it is super quiet (which is a good thing because I’m a very light sleeper) and I feel very safe walking around. What made me write this review was how impressed I was with the maintenance requests getting fulfilled. Within the next day of submitting I had someone come in to not only fix my shower head but they were courteous enough to install the one I had bought ( I was originally planning to do it myself but came home to it already installed). I am very happy with Advenir!
This is a great place to call home. It is surrounded by great food and entertainment. Easy access to President Bush Toll way and Dallas Toll way. The apartments have great amenities.
I have been a resident since May and I must say the staff is very accommodating and we really enjoy living at the Villages of Addison. We are 5 mins from work and so close to shopping and dinning ...! Ill be sad to leave when our new home is ready!
I have lived here since 2013 through the management change. When I signed the first year it was awesome. Then they sold to the Conners Group.... It was rough at first but since Crystal has been in charge it has gotten SO MUCH BETTER! The front office staff is great - loved renewing with Gloria and moving to a larger unit. The maintenance guy, Will is always friendly and responsive. I think they are also getting some of the resident who were bringing the place down out. When I moved in 2013 it was much more affordable - that is the only downside to having stayed every year the rent creeps up.... 990, 1120, 1290 and 1349 for the same unit. I hope it levels out a bit but at least there are helpful people now here!
Im in love with this community. Everything you could want is in your apartment and staff is very attentive and friendly! After coming from a apartment complex with TERRIBLE management and staff - the Conner Group has been wonderful. Jonah Longino in the front office has been amazing. He has been a huge help for me adjusting into my new place and I couldnt ask for better assistance!
Weve been living here almost a year and have had no issues. Its a quiet area, the neighbors are friendly, and the front staff (especially Tessa) is helpful and friendly. Its a little on the expensive side, but I feel like its worth it for the location and quality of apartments.
I have been a resident at The Villages of Addison since Feb. 2014. I moved to here after downsizing from a large home in the area. Having not lived in an apt. in over 30 years; I looked at many apt. complexes before deciding to move here. Since I have lived at The Villages of Addison, I have felt like I live in more of a town home community with real neighbors than at a transient apt. complex with 3 apt.s stacked on top of each other and with people walking up and down next to my front door all the time. I would recommend to anyone to look closely at The Villages of Addison to see that their property is a step above others and that their life here can be very happy and comfortable! I have a very spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath apt. The apt. has been updated with hardwood floors in the nook area, gorgeous stone flooring in the kitchen and both bathrooms and new carpet in the bedrooms. My kitchen has more then ample cabinets in addition to a large pantry. I have granite kitchen counter tops and I also have a spacious kitchen island with a matching granite top. The kitchen island enables 2 people plenty of room to cook together without getting into each other space!!The flow of my apt. lends itself nicely to entertaining 4-5 of my friends. I very much enjoy living here! I have had reason to call the apt. management for some repairs I needed to have completed in my apt. ( leaking kitchen faucet, clogged tub drain, an issue with my dishwasher and regularly needing to change the A.C. filter). The maintenance staff here is extremely fast in taking care of my needs. Either Will or Rudy will come to my apt. the day I need my repair to be fixed or the very next day at the latest. They are both very professional. They are clean cut men that do their job without any chit chat while they are working and also without making a mess! Kudos to both Will and Rudy for doing an excellent job every time I have needed their services!! The grounds have been kept clean.. I am sure that is a big, continuous job for the staff here because a lot of the residents have dogs. The dog park is close to my apt. and that is a nice added plus for a lot of people!! The bushes do need pruning and trees do need to be trimmed throughout the complex due to over growth. There are nice, gas grills for residents to use in 3 areas on the property. The 2 pools are nice and the hot tub is relaxing.I an looking forward to cooler weather to use the hot tub again in the winter months.
I love the monthly activities provided at no additional charge.
Great customer service! The ladies in the office are very professional and full of southern hospitality! They made the move in process easy and extremely accommodating. A+ from me!
Excellent service by all the staff at the Villages of Addison. They were all so nice and hospitable. They worked with me finding the great location and a price I could live with. Thanks so much for a great relocation.Edward Boling
I love the floor plans; spacious and open (high ceilings). It has natural lighting from all the windows. I most especially love the built in book case, fireplace, and attached garage. Its in a really good location, conveniently located to all freeways, shopping, restaurants, parks and night life! I can do without the valet trash service as I can trow away my own trash and save myself $100. Hopefully management does away with it because not too many residents are fans. Other than that Im happy so far!
It is not often that I write reviews however my experience at Villages of Addison has been so pleasantly surprising that I need to share my experience. I will start with my most recent experience first...of course on the hottest night so far this summer, I had trouble with my a/c. I called the emergency maintenance number at 1145pm and the maintenance guy named Jason was at my apartment within 10 minutes! My issues was resolved with 29 minutes when he replaced the a/c compressor! My initial experience with the leasing staff was equally as impressive. I was so pleased with the assistance I received from the leasing consultant named Gloria that I returned the same day to lease. She was courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly, professional! I sincerely recommend to anyone looking for an apartment, consider this community!
Good Service. The administrators are always ready to help.Ive been very impressed with the apartment and the amenities
We love this place so much, we decided to stay another year. The reviews are so underrated, but the management are new now and they are great!
Great apartment complex with an extremely LAZY front office staff. Jessica will take an entire month to give you an answer, regardless if the answer is financially vital to your life it is simply an inconvenience to her.
Villages of Addison has been awesome so far. Brittany and Gloria both have been awesome to work with. I am picky! Requested some extra stuff and they were all over it. The day I moved in AC didnt seem to be cooling - they had guy there in like..15 minutes. new thermostat - fixed immediately. Its very safe and VERY quiet. Im very happy!
Nice Apartment,Beautiful Amenities,Brand New Everything,Love the Staffs, friendly and always on time to fix anything when you need them.Amazing everything, plz keep it up Maicardes!!!
The water meters at this apartment complex are broken or there is a huge leak so you get a huge bill. Expect your rent to be $100 higher then what is advertised by the apartment complex
First off, do not believe all the positive reviews! Some of them are legit, but residents are bribed with gift cards to post the majority of the positive reviews!I was a resident for almost 4 years at this community. The first few years were great, and then the Connor Group took over and everything started to fall apart.Never late on rent, never had any complaints, referred 2 residents and when renewal time came around my rent jumped $200/month! That is on top of a $100/month valet trash fee, $22 sewer, $18 water, $3 credit card processing fee and an $8 common electric fee for the exterior lights that didnt work for over a year.I turned in my move-out notice in between Property Managers, and this was where the real nightmare began. I was trying to find out what my final bill was, and Crystal, the current manager, took over a month to get back with me. In the meantime, I received a final bill via e-mail with not only a late fee, but $295 in additional penalties!(One of these penalties was $65 for a general clean which was ridiculous considering my apartment was spotless when I left (aside from the oven, which I forgot about and would gladly pay the $50 fee for ), and over $100 for damage done to a door that I had several service orders submitted for in my time there.)I called several times, and also sent e-mails...no answer from Crystal...until I printed all of the e-mails and sent them via certified mail to both her and the Connor Group corporate. (Brittany was a sweetheart on the phone, and continually apologized to me for the lack of communication. The corporate office needs to know she has Customer Service skills!)Crystal sent an e-mail back stating all charges are final. Thats it, no attempt to understand my frustrations, no phone call, and no invite to discuss. Please consider this when looking at the Villages. I loved living here until the end.
Wow. I usually never write reviews, but have to on this one. Kudos to Villages of Addison, particularly Diana. Im in the midst of a very complicated divorce and just moved here from another state. Everything possible that could have gone wrong went wrong through my transition to get to Dallas. Diana stayed with me and worked with me every step of the way which, in fact, started over three months ago. She found me the right apartment, specifically to my needs, and put me in it for a reasonable deposit to secure it. She worked the lease agreement long distance with the unique specifics I had to have. Again, very complicated. My rent $ is very, very reasonable for what is available in the 75287 zip. I had no expectation to be able to afford something so upscale. They worked with me. Diana came over to check that everything was working for me. Im probably missing something. Seamless. A real God Send when I needed it the most!
A lot of break ins and robberies happening in the complex. My friends car got broken into and the office management dont seem to care (he lives here!). There is NO security at all and the front gate Is usually broken and left wide open. Its so bad that even my valet trash can was stolen, and it took almost month for them to get me a replacement. I still had to pay the $50 for valet trash services, that I wasnt able to use. Apartment utilities are over $100 per month on top of our rent. Lastly, the Office is horrible about communicating with residents. Like today I went to use the gym this morning, and it was closed. We pay way too much here to deal with all of this!
This apartment are the worst I’ve ever rented. Stay away from this place. Winter time heat runs 24/7, summer A/C running 24/7, Very bad insulation, electric bill $200 to $300 a month.Call the office is a nightmare no one pick up or call back.Call for Maintenance no one will show up over the weekend.STAY AWAY FORM THIS PLACE.
Update as of 9/29/16... Moved out in January. Still havent received my deposit, despite using a professional cleaning service to clean to apt before moving out. Do not be fooled by all of these positive reviews. Its my opinion that they are fabricated. Since my initial review, someone in the leasing office gave my package to another resident. The resident was kind enough to bring mine back but it had already been opened. They have since starting charging a trash fee, a valet trash fee, and common electric fee. Trash is picked up by in-house employees, not a trash service. This has increased my water bill from about $40-$50 bucks to $100 per monthMoved in mid December. The same day management changed. It has been a nightmare since. I was supposed to have bay windows in my bedroom, when I moved in and realized I didnt, they basically did nothing to compensate me. Every maintenance request is ignored and I have to bug them about it constantly to fix. When someone finally does come, they do a poor job. The management employees are condescending and unhelpful. My female roommate had an issue where she locked herself out the apt. Called emergency maintenance who two 6 calls to answer, he got an attitude and hung up on her, then saw her at the front office waiting and began shouting and yelling curse words at her. When she sat down with Management to discuss, she was not very apologetic and didnt want to discipline the employee. This was very frightening seeing as how this maintenance worker (William Wilkerson) has 24 hour access to our apt and whos to say if he might snap one evening and come to our apt. Other residents have stated theyve gone up on prices. This is by far the worst experience with Management Ive ever had. We pay rent on time every month, were quiet neighbors and dont bother management much. This is unacceptable. We will be moving as soon as our lease is up
Feels like home! Very quite and clean! Everyone is extremely friendly! Love it!
Would NOT recommended living here. You pay way to much for half the things in your apartment to not work the maintenance crew is awful along with office staff. Its gated but still unsafe theres homeless people living in the back pool area that also never gets cleaned. Dont waste your money go elsewhere!!
