I have been renting from them now for 5 months and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. They are responsive, friendly and the quality of their apartments for the price is great. Any time I have had to put in maintenance request, its completed within 24 hours. Would recommend this company to rent from.

This company tried to rip me off. Months and Months of ignored maintenance request. I can never get anyone to return my calls. Make sure to look up Ohio tenant laws because they do not follow them. If you paid anything upfront keep record as well as your communication with this company. This company is unprofessional and I AM DISGUSTED!

DO NOT RENT. The worst customer service ever experienced from a property management company. Apartments are priced low for a reason. They will make no attempt to contact you after moving out and pass anything over to collections.

NOT ACCEPTABLE! We rented from there about 1.5 years and they seemed responsible until we got our final bill after moving out... when we moved in NOTHING was replaced or new since the previous tenant lived there.. which was fine considering I just needed a place ! BUT $520 for a range for over the oven (which was gross when we moved in!) then $600 for a new fridge was working just fine when we left and was never new when we moved in...But what really got me is the $1300 for new laminate and carpet... considering when we moved in the floor was ripped in three different places (which we marked on the check list at the time of doing the inspection) and the carpet was never new.. they steamed cleaned it and left whatever stains where there and the bathrooms were ran down and gross .. just lazy maintenance.. Anyway, now they’re saying we never turned in a check list.. and of course we didn’t copy it.😒 but $1300 for a floor that was in terrible condition when we moved in is completely unfair.. not to mention the problems we had when we lived there.. like the hole in the kitchen ceiling poring water when we showered that stayed there for two months before coming to fix it, then they left an even bigger hole for 3 months after that... and then when our basement flooded in 3 feet of water and ruined all of our stuff and caused the basement floor to literally rot they never came to fix it....

Ive lived in Columbus, off and on, for over 20 years. Most of that time Ive rented from KRG. They are the best agency Ive ever rented from. Not one single complaint.......ever!

I’m trying to rent with KRG because they have a lot of reasonably priced properties, but the customer service is so poor. You can’t schedule a showing with them (every single landlord I’ve spoken with has been more than willing to work with my schedule on a showing). They will inform you there is a lock box on a door or the door is unlocked. 75% of the time this isn’t true (the door is locked, or the lock box isn’t there, and the lock boxes that are there are extremely old and hard to use) so you end up going to their properties and wasting your time. The properties are also run-down and not well-maintained, but the rooms themselves are typically tolerable (although not ready for a showing, the bathrooms and tubs are typically disgusting with mold and bodily fluids, and you’d think they would want to show off a sparkling clean place to potential tenants). but it’d be nice if I could at least be shown a property to know if I want to consider it or not. KRG - it would make a big difference if you scheduled showings for potential tenants or at least knew what the status of your properties is. I wouldn’t mind seeing a property without a showing if I was actually able to view the place without complications. Also, I understand there may be maintenance being done to these properties, but the bathrooms shouldn’t be absolutely repulsive to walk into.

Did you expect the most luxurious and newest as for last reviewer? You shouldnt because thats your choice for living there because I know they are the one of best reponsive maintenance team for older apartments and very clean might as well and even though it may not be luxurious its very best value as an apartment rental company for your buck so for last reviewer if you dont like it there try moving somewhere else that will probably be more expensive than this company.

Unacceptable place, dont waste your time. With such a hard credit check, and stuck on their company policies, dont expect much from this place. Also, I was told I was approved, then my unit was given to someone else. I applied for a different unit, and this time they came back unable to approve me. I was told I could cosign, so I went to prepare this document, yet told again I could not get approved even with a cosigner even thoigh I never even had the opportunity to turn it in. I was upfront about my situation. What a waste of time. Even though I could come up with as many necessary prior rental references.... they were unable to help. I offered to pay the lease in full. Still no. Seriously? A fully paid tenant yet you decline that? So unfortunate, as a friend referred me here and I can only give a 1 star. My advice: Stop being so hard on policies... because some of the worst tenants have perfect credit history. Waste of my application fee and time here.

Sure, the maintenance team is responsive, but the property manager is an absolute joke. Never returns calls, never sends a message to let you know if someone from maintenance has to enter your property to fix something that affects the blocks of condos. They send people over to maintain the exterior but again, you dont know when that happens which has resulted, in my case, in destruction of property (things left out that I didnt move out of the way of the maintenance people or 3rd-party contractors they send over, because I didnt get a notice, etc.). The only reason why I am rating this company 2 starts instead of just 1 is because they have been responsive with maintenance issues (although much of the maintenance they do is mediocre at best).

Please take my advice and do *NOT* rent from them. They are the very definition of slumlords and they do not respond to requests. If you are vocal about your issues they will ignore you and then just force you to leave your rental.I had a hot water tank break and they left the old tank in my unit (next to the newer one) and I asked the property manager repeatedly to please have it removed. Every time I asked her she would say the handy man kept telling her he took care of it. After seven, yes, seven months, it was finally removed.Also, since the first week of living in my rental there has been a lady(and her husband) living three units down harassing me. I refer to her has Crazy Parking Lady. We only have one assigned parking space, a carport, and for some reason she seems to think a certain parking space belongs to her. I found this out when my mother was helping me move in. My mom had a car full of my belongings and when we finished unloading she walked to to her car to find it blocked in. I told her I thought maybe it was the couple on the end unit (445 Caldy Ct) and when she knocked on the door she the woman opened it and started screaming at her to never take her parking space again and then got in my moms face and called her several nasty names. I talked to the then on site property manager (Rosella) and she said I could park anywhere Id like with the exception of someone elses carport. Out of simply wanting to keep the peace I avoided parking in that space. But this lady started to follow me and complain if I took any parking space. She started calling me names and her husband even knocked on my door asking me why I didnt use my carport. This went on for months until she tried to run me over in front of my children forcing me to call the police. I called management and said I was in fear for my safety and let them know about the constant harassment and name calling. I asked them if they could kindly speak with her or reissue a reminder of the parking rules. No one would help me. Fast forward to a few weeks ago she thought I stole her space and I heard her screaming every fowl word she could think of. She started pounding on my front door and ringing my doorbell repeatedly and was screaming I stole her space. I was afraid to answer and hoped shed eventually leave but then my back patio gate flew open and her husband was on my porch and he started pounding on my sliding glass door and yelling. While his wife was screaming and pounding on my front door! I had no choice but to call the police. When I let the new property manager (Steve) know what happened, he failed to respond. A few days ago I received a notice stating that KRG is invoking their right to not renew my lease and I must vacate by 10/31/18. I have asked them why and they keep saying its their legal right. I think they are punishing me for calling the police and also complaining about my living conditions. Not only did they fail to remove the hot water tank in a timely manner but my toilets are running, and my sinks and shower wont drain, AND they havent replaced my furnace filter in TWO years....I am currently working with Mike DeWines office (Ohio AG), HUD, the BBB and more to get this resolved but so far all KRG has done is lie or dance around the issues.

Property management is very rude and non professional, when contacting them about maintenance issues. They only have one maintenance man attending to a whole apartment complex. The apartments are old and is in very poor shape. Issues with plumbing, wiring, and furnace issues are constant.
