Always absolutely love my nails following a trip to Lumera. You can go in with just a vague idea of what you want in mind and they nail it (pun intended) every time! I go in about once a month to refresh my dip with them and the nails truly stay perfect in between. Highly recommend!

This isn’t a good place to go too, the reviews aren’t accurate, the pedi was the fastest I ever got not professional at all. For the Meni : My nails aren’t shaped well, the shape is so off. My cuticles hurt one even bleed cause the lady was in a hurry that she was literally baffling my skin. I choose the first set of colors and she miss placed them I had to choose again. This area use to have way better nail salons when I lived there it’s so sad

My dip manicure was ok, not great. My nails weren’t cut/filed evenly and my cuticles were cut. The place did not feel very clean. Lacking quality control.

Always call to make an appointment because theyre so busy but they are amazing! So friendly, they do an amazing job. So many colors to choose from. Dip manicures with so many options. Highly recommend

7/7/21 update:While Minnie does a great job with designs, her and the manager do a horrible job with keeping appointments. I arrive early or on time to my scheduled appointments and always end up waiting 20-30 mins past the scheduled time. Today I was asked to come back later after waiting for 20 mins. The whole point of an appointment is to schedule a time that works for both parties. I sadly won’t be back as this has happened too many times.

Obsessed with my new nails. I went in with a photo and they went above and beyond what I showed for the design. Perfect for enjoying the last few weeks of Summer. My dip manicures always last for weeks and I’m always happy with the results. But this time, they killed it! All painting was hand drawn ❤️

DETAIL ORIENTED, the team here are all great. Not just one or two, but every manicurist spends time to make my nails perfect. They have one of the better selections of colors and brands, and the ladies always remember me even if I haven’t been back for a while. I always walk in, I’ve never booked an appointment. I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes.Edit 2021: weekends get swamped with long waits, better to come during off times if you don’t want to sit around

I called in advance to make an appointment for a dip manicure. First they left me soaking in acetone for 20 minutes without checking on the progress. Then I had to wait another 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment before an aesthetician finally helped me. Dont bother making an appointment here.

Great service. I went in for a full set fairly close to closing and the staff was very kind and took their time on my nails, making sure I liked them at every step. Ill definitely be back!

All of the women are so nice and patient! I’ve been coming here for about 5 months now. They always remember you and are super friendly. Mimi is the one who did my nails this time. I wanted a gel set with matte black and white geometric shapes/tribal. She nailed it! Exactly what I wanted and perfect for spooky season. She was patient and extremely detail oriented. Been there twice now. Had two different people. And both ladies did an excellent job!! Got a dip manicure and the first one lasted (with no chips) for two weeks. My nails grow fast, so it was that reason I had to go back.

The service was quick and efficient. The color selection is vast, and the place doesn’t smell of nasty chemicals.

I visited last Saturday. For how much money I spent ($65), Im really upset that the gel powder stilettos I received didnt last the expected 3 weeks. In fact they didnt last a single week. They were improperly done, are lifting and bending right off. I cant imagine what their version of acrylic is like. Please dont waste customers time and money if youre not 100% trained in certain areas. I wanted to like this salon, but I feel like Ive been hustled. Unfortunately, I wont be back.

This review is based off my experience before I even have sat in the chair. I called to confirm that there was someone available to do my nails (full set). The lady asked me at what time, I said now; she said come on. Came in; WAS NOT greeted at all, but luckily I knew to pick a color in advance. So I’m waiting already ten minutes and other customers walk in and they are greeted properly. She asks what the lady wants and she ask that she sits down. So I speak up because I’m confused as to how she comes in and then get serviced. To my surprise there are only two techs available. I mean I could’ve been told to wait a good 15 minutes not come now. Had me thinking someone was ready now. Another review will after my nails are done. Since my last review I have now made this business a one star. I asked for stiletto nails and boy boy boy: I was more disappointed (pic below). When I mentioned to her that I asked for stiletto nail, she turned it around to say my nails were cut too short and that they needed to be longer. Mind you I told her what I wanted in the beginning. Not only did she make my nails look like the First Lady of a church, but she began to chastise me about speaking up earlier when I was overlooked and not serviced properly. I told her had I know there were only two fake nail techs and they both had someone in their chair, I wouldn’t have rushed. This woman proceeds to tell me that it isn’t a first come first serve and that I had to wait. Completely disregarding what I was saying. Where’s the BBB when you need them to come to places like this. I don’t even understand why they even are getting 5 stars!!! Good luck if you do try it out. P.S. my nail polish is already coming off after only three days; probably from the nail polish being thinned our so much and my nails still got messed up.

This place is pretty nice. There is a good selection of colors and the staff is very nice. They have those nice chairs for soaking your feet. Everything there is reasonably priced, with manicures starting at $13.I have not gone for waxing but the place looks clean and they seem like they know what they are doing. Sundays tend to be busy but you can still walk in for an appointment and get started within a few minutes.When I was there last it seemed like there were regulars who were making appointments ahead of time which is a good sign.Its pretty quiet during the week so if youd like to avoid being around other customers, go in the middle of the week.

They do a great job on dipping powder nails and pedicures, highly recommend! The ladies that work there are very friendly too and remember you when you come back! Dip is $40 FYI

Ive tried a number of salons in the city and this is by far the best experience I have had. My no chip manicure was perfect and so was my pedicure. There was a very short wait time and they did not rush at all. I will definitely be coming back!

I come in every 2-3 weeks for no-chip manicures and this place is great. They are slower than some other places but they always do a great job and are more affordable than other spots. Highly recommend!

My wife gets her nails done at Lumera, and loves it. M-Th there is a $28 special for manicures/pedicures. The wait is typically short, and they have a wide variety of colors. They also offer no-chip manicures.

I planned something really special for my bestie for her wedding and this place was such a disappointment. For one, they barely greeted us at the door. For two, they allowed other ppl to come in and get service before us.Then on top of that, they asked us to move to an empty seat,so that we could get our nails done, only to completely disregard us and proceed to assist another customer.As we proceeded to walkout of the nail salon,they didnt say a word. It was almost as if they were relieved that we were leaving. I WOULD NEVER RETURN TO THIS SALON EVER.

If i could give 0 star, i would, for the nonsense service i received today. I went in there with gel full set and i ask for them to be taken down, while she did, i kept contemplating on wether i wanted to get something else or let them be. So i inquired about another full set and she said why dont u just get a no chip.... uhhh,, because they are my nails, last i checked, we dont share the same nails-_-.Mind u, she wasnt suggesting, she was telling me what to get so she could be done in no time, so less work for her.i showed her a picture of what i wanted, i specifically said coffin shape and she started doing something like an ugly rectangular table and i kindly said, please can i have them slightly pointy and squared at the tip, instead of her to say ok no problem, she cut me and was like oh no no thats the same, uhhhh... no ! i get these all the time and i know what i get, thank u!She started giving me such attitude like if she could break my fingers she would.After filing them down, i asked if she could make them less thick and she rolled her eyes, as if to say... beesh, on more word. UHHH im sorry i dont like thick nails, im paying for a service and i expect them to be the way i want . She filed them down again ( against her will). She later put the no chip clear gel on it, after doing that, i asked to see the no chip colors, and she jumped in, and said, umm that will be 20 more again with an attitude, like money was the problem. I turned around and asked another lady what the cost for what i wanted was and she gave me a price way less than what this crazy girl had told me.i asked for someone else to take over and they said, she started so she has to finish, ...oh great, -_-i opted for the gel polish because i was headed somewhere and the regular polish was going to take long to dry and i didnt want to risk messing them up. i now said ok if the gel wont work then its fine, ill leave with no polish and this crazy girl rudely said ok!! yea!! fine!!! !like to say ; please fly out, i could care less anyway. i was flabbergasted, i really held myself from misbehaving.Not only did she want to STEAL additional money from me, like im some dummy, she was rude, condescending and just very mannerless.In all this, she couldnt even apologize, all she could do was yap in her language when i was walking towards the door. like dont let the door hit yaDid i tip her? HELL TO THE NO, i rather tear that money right before her .will i go back there ? hell to the nodo yourself a favor and just keep walking by.
