I have been going to Princess Nails for 12 years now. They’ve always done a decent job but the last couple of times I’ve been there, they’ve lost their touch. There’s lots of new faces and little experience from what I gather. I went in for a simple fill in and pedicure. The entire time it felt rushed and the employees (all of them including the one working w me) were so invested in a group conversation amongst themselves. The environment was loud because of them, nothing relaxing about it. It was a Monday afternoon so it wasn’t even busy, not sure why my nail tech was rushing to get me out. My nails came out looking ugly and I didn’t make a scene, I was polite the entire time.It’s hard to say why she was unable to cover the complete nail with polish. Why she used acrylic powder for a gel nail… why the acrylic powder was done so bad that it’s out on my skin. I also asked for my eyebrows to be waxed, remove only excess hair and she made them chola thin. It’s disappointing after so many years of being a customer but I think it’s time to find another place. I also noticed they don’t clean in between customers, seems they don’t follow any protocol for COVID 19 other than wearing a mask. The salon itself is looking dirty and it’s obvious they don’t take care of it like when they first got new gear. Their prices went slightly up but their service went down.

I’ve been coming to this place for as long as I can remember! But lately they are doing the worst JOB! They are doing everything quick just to get customer out of there! But at the end of the day customers are paying for what they want not what your workers want to do on them! When you tell them something is wrong for example the inside of my nails! they give you attitudes and start talking between each other! I didn’t realize how bad my nails were till I left the place. This images you see here were taken 1 week and 1/2 ago my nails had no type of shape! I wasn’t going to post anything but today I went with my friend who does nails and to be honest she did such an amazing job and she’s barely becoming a nail tech, that I decided to tell you guys doesn’t matter how mad they get or what they say between them NEVER STAY QUIET because this is your money your paying to get what you want!It’s sad how people just to make money & to get the customers out of there do a careless & sloppy job! NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!

I’ve been going here for so long and never have I ever had nails as bad as these. I have been a customer here since I was a freshman in college and i’ve never gone home so upset. the quality here used to be amazing and now it has gone so downhill.I went here today to get a full set and I am so disappointed. the designs were done SO poorly and the nails barely have a coffin shape. they’re also kind of crooked.to think I paid 70 dollars for nails that look like those actually astounds me. I have paid around 50-60 max for gel nails with designs, so the price increase was also shocking. my inspiration vs. what I got is not okay and I would not recommended this place ever again to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE. This was by far the worst manicure of my life. The man kept trying to up-sell me. I asked for a plain clean manicure, clear regular polish, because my hands will be in a photo-shoot tomorrow and this man butchered my nails. He started to file the tops to put on acrylics, so they have this awful texture. He didn’t clean under my nails! I had to do that at the sink. Didn’t cut my cuticles, I mean I should’ve been the easiest manicure since there’s no polish and it looks like complete trash. They just wanted me in and out and to move on and I even made an appointment! After many demands they gave me the manicure for free.

Very rude staff, I use to love this place when the actual owner was there. After the owner left all the staff was doing what they want. They want to pick and choose who they want to do their nails. Discrimination at it highest. The lady that took over told me there are other nails shop around I can go there because I asked for a specific person to do my nails. How rude and poor customer service. I have been doing my nails there for 10years. I brought them so many clients, but at this time I am done. I will never go there again. Please do not use this place.

Until the pandemic, I was a customer from the time Chris and Meipurchased Princess Nail Salon. Today I left after an almost two hour wait. Many customers who arrived after me got served. I am not sure who owns this establishment now, but I know I will never return. It used to be wonderful.

First and last time coming here. Lady was doing my pedicure, working as cashier, answering phones, and running to the other side of the shop. She didn’t change her gloves until I asked her. She had an attitude because of this and whispered (in her language of course) something to the worker next to her. Definitely won’t be coming back.

First time trying the place and will never go again. I had an appoint set for 10:30, I arrive early because it is my first time here. I sign in and wait 20 minutes, until two people come and that have an appointment at 11:00 gets serviced before me. There isn’t much that bothers me but waiting and then being passed over is one thing that does.

I have coming from the south side all the way up to the north side just so the owner can do my nails. ( full set ⚰️ shape)I love it there have been going there for years and love the service and atmosphere!!! I would pass any other nail shop just to go to the one I love.

I love my technician Krystal! She is the best and has hands of magic when it comes to a Pedicure. My foot felt like a smooth newborn babys foot!!

I took my nana not so long ago & she got her pedicure done it was very horrible. The lady was extremely rude & they are not clean at all, which lead my nana to catch fungus after she got her toes done. Not coming back here every. They don’t clean the materials they utilize.

I love Princess Nails. I have been going to them for over 5 years and I will continue to go. I have gone to other nail shops and none of them have impressed me as much. They do the best job with no chip manicures, always making sure you are content with the way your nails look. Some people complain about their customer service but in my experience, they have always treated me politely . They tend to get very busy so if you dont like waiting excessive amounts of time, I suggest you call in and schedule an appointment or avoid going at popular times on Fridays & Saturdays. Morning time during the week means less wait. Ann is my to go girl when I go get my nails done. She does a great job & doesnt take forever. This is not an upscale place so if youre expecting to be wined and treated like royalty, go elsewhere. If you want your nails done nicely and to be treated just good and you dont care for royalty treatment- go to Princess nails. They do the best no chip I’ve gotten & I’ve gone to other shops in other states, says enough.

I’ve visited this salon about 20 times now and always leave happy and satisfied with the result. I normally ask for full set/gel fill and a pedicure. Everyone is nice and never have to wait when I make an appointment!

The lady that did my nails did amazing, I don’t know her name I forgot but she did it quick but it was clean and beautiful and I loved them! I got my toes done and my nails and they both came out beautiful and dried fast.

I have been to a lot of nail salons, and this is by far one of the best. The technique, and Precision they take is wonderful. Very friendly, and welcoming. I didn’t have too wait a long time to start my manicure. Over all very impressed. :)

This place does amazing work, I do a lot of work with my hands and their acrylics are so durable, and Ive never had one pop off. I love their color selection, especially the glitter and chrome ones.

I just visit this location for the third time I’m not sure of the young lady that service me i visited here again today 5/6/21this lady calm to be the manager refused my service because she thinks I’m the one who was being loud and disrespectful to the staff I have never came to a place of business and disrespectful no one I also stated to the young lady I was just here I do believe she has me confused with someone else I never got treated this way from a nail shop it’s not that serious to act crazy this experience was trouble I really like the lady that do my nails at this location unfortunately I will not visit here again

I’ve been going to Princess for over 2 years now and have almost always had a great experience. Gel polish always lasts 3+ weeks and is a very fair price. The salon tends to get really busy during peak after work hours on week days and throughout the day on weekends so keep that in mind. I’ve always been very pleasant and have been met with the same attitude!

First time at Princess Nails and left feeling GORGEOUS! The team really takes time to satisfy the client. I have never been to a nail salon and left so happy. Princess Nails you guys keep increasing self-esteems!!💘💓💗💖💕💝🦋💞💜

My friend and I went for her birthday while we were in town visiting Friday 9/8. Nail lengths were off for several of her fingers, not even 2 days later her whole nail fell off. And you can clearly see the base of her and my nails (as if weve already had them for over a week or so may need a fill soon). My nail also snapped today 9/13 while at my office job. I dont appreciate the service from either techs (snatchy with my hands, barely spoke not even a hello, and if spoken too was irritated tone.) Maybe it was just our techs but I wouldnt spend my money there again. Within a week of getting my nails done Im gonna have to get a fill and a replacement.

I’ve been going to Princess Nails since sophomore year of high school and they are the best! I always get a gel no chip manicure for $30 and it usually lasts for 3-4 weeks for me. I’ve tried other nail salons, but no one compares to Princess Nails. Five stars!

If I can give 0 stars I definitely would! Beware of this place!! My usual nail shop was full and I didnt have time to wait to get my nails done. I decided to visit Princess Nails because my sister swears that this is the best place in the area to get nails done.I called ahead and asked for a wait time and the lady on the phone assured me there wasnt one which was great. I told her I wanted a pedicure, a soak-off, and a gel overlay and was quoted a reasonable price over the phone. The shop was filled with customers when I arrived but as stated, there was no wait for me to be serviced.The pedicure I received was beyond mediocre. The lady who did it was rough, water was cold, uneven nail shapes, and I had to tell her to use the file multiple times to remove dead skin.A man did my hands and Im sorry that I didnt get his name to warn people. After stating that I wanted a soak-off, he proceeded to use the drill and a cuticle pusher to pop off the gel powder off my nails. Again, I told him that I wanted them soaked off to preserve my natural nails as he already popped off 2 . He had an attitude and called over another guy who seemed to be the manger. Only after speaking to the manager is when he decided to remove the gel the way I asked.He was very rough during the process and didnt allow my nails to fully soak off before he went in again with the drill. The final straw was 3 of my nails breaking. If I wasnt attentively watching him, he wouldnt have said anything. Then he attempted to use nail glue to fix the broken nails.I literally stopped him mid service to avoid further damage to my other nails.The manager made no attempt to fix the situation or even offer another tech to finish my nails. He even had the audacity to ask me if I was paying for the take off! I only paid for the mediocre pedicure but I will never, ever return to this salon!!

This place was on point. I got my nails done today and I got the coffin full set for only 25 dollars, and they were so nice and gentle and of course they were sanitary. I would definitely recommend this to people near the Chicago area. They have affordable prices and amazing quality!

I’ve been getting my nails here for almost 4 yours. The owner is super friendly as well as the rest of the staff. They give their input on the color and do their best to match if you show them one from Pinterest, Google, etc. I think this place always delivers. My nails always look amazing no matter if I choose Acrylic, Dipped, or No-Chip.They’ll do their best to get you in amd regardless if it’s busy they’ll keep track of everyone walking in. This time I went I took my mom and her nail got a little scuffed on the way home, I went back and the guy took care of it right away and was totally cool about it. I recommend Princess Nails to anyone!

Really the only reason I keep going back is because the quality & pricing is pretty good & close to my house. However the owner can be rude. Most of the other women are lovely. He’s just impatient & is never wrong. Even if he does mess up his own job, somehow he blames it on the guest.

Instead of being told the wait was too long, the nail technicians just kept talking about me in their language. How do I know because they kept mentioning DIP and LEAVE. And I was there for a DIP.That is super rude! They also constantly jump from one customer to another, not giving you the attention that you pay for.Princess Nails: learn some hospitality please!

Im so passed! Ive been coming her a long time to see my main girl and she had to leave to pick up her son and said the guy Chris (the owner) will do them for me. He was sitting in the massage chair watching a movie on his phone. So I waited in the chair for 10 min and asked the other girl working there, whos going to do my nails and of course Chris started speaking in his native language to her. So basically he refused to do my nails and she said I have to wait until shes done with her client now.Really? So sitting in the chair and watching a movie is more important than a client whos been coming to you for years? This will be my last time here!!!!! Jerk!!!!!

I am a regular at this place and only ever go to one technician. My last visit my tech was sick and I agreed to go to a new technician. I’d never seen this tech before she didn’t know how to cut my nails and I later realized that she was practicing. When I asked the manager what was going on because I now had been in the chair for over an hour. The tech that was working on me had barley completed one foot poorly while the tech besides me had completed two clients. When I brought this to the managers attention she said something in her language then the tech proceeded to pour acetone on my feet to wipe the poor work away. My problem with this is there was absolutely no communication she didn’t even look at me and a different tech continued on my feet. I was getting a no chip pedicure because I despise waiting for my nails to dry so I pay the extra cost. Anyone who has had no chip before knows that acetone alone will not remove the polish. It has to be soaked of and then filed. I had to sit through this process twice. I did tip the second tech because the mess prior to her was not her fault. As I’m leaving I asked the manager why she gave me an inexperienced tech and she told me “next time you come you wait for (name)” now I’m no longer calm and I’m telling her that is not how you respond to a paying customer you apologize. They have no respect for their clients and it’s such a shame. I was not offered a discount an apology nothing.

I have gone to other shops before and always come back. They do the best pedicure and no-chip manicure. I love this shop!

Drilled my natural nails because he was too lazy to remove regular nail polish with acetone. Everything was extremely rushed and didnt clean up the paint off of my skin.

Decided to try it out tonight since they have a high Google rating and theyre pretty close to me (and they have parking!). Walked in at 730p, they were surprisingly busy so I had to wait a bit. I was thinking they were going to rush my pedicure since I was so late (which I would have been ok with since it was my fault). She took her time and did a great job. Im very picky at paint jobs because Im pretty good at it myself, but I am super pleased with my pedi!! Great job & low price...will definitely be back!!

Great fast service and they take walk ins, manicure gel polish and gel (acrylic) will last me 4+ weeks not chipping or breaking and I have a very labor intensive job, mani could have lasted longer but I needed a fill in! Great salon tons of colors of no chip gel polish

This was my first time at this nail shop, very busy, took awhile to get my nails done . He shaped my nails perfect was very nice but did an okay job on the nail polish . I feel he was kind of rushing it .

I used to go to this place for years. But until I felt twice the owners gave priority to other customers then the people that were already waiting. How I know I asked one of the customers if they had an appointment and they reply no. So the owners could be hands on, you have to look suffiticated or look like you have money. My 💅 are first I need somebody else to take priority which isnt 👸 nails anymore.

I dont really like this place, they are always in a hurry, and you can barely understand what they say and are always mad🙄 this guy made my finger bleed 2 times and was rubbing really hard on it and the its reall unsanitary, I got a nail infection ( Im only 14) u can sue this place! Bc it supposed to be a professional place.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Waited an hour! Only to be told Id be charged 25 for the Gel fill, & 3 to take them down just a tad with the file, (not a cut down with the clippers). On top of this, he was rude, & wouldnt know what a smile was if it slapped him in the face! All this after I decided to give them another chance after the pedicure fiasco a few weeks ago. Im not new at this, been doing pedis & fills for years now, & have experienced a number of different shops, & one things for sure, a weak, to no massage during a pedi, over pricing, & rude customer service will cost you a repeat customer EVERY TIME!

I been here a few times and I really love it here they do great nails. However I did have a problem where the job was half done because the guy was rushing but the next day I came back and the owner handle the problem and I was very pleased.

I visited Princess Nail Salon on occasion while waiting for laundry at the laundromat next door, and it was always a positive experience. Equipment was clean, staff was very sweet, and they did a great job with my mani pedis. Their manicures lasted about a week without chipping, even without the no chip option.

I have been going to this nail shop for a year and in the last 2 visit they have been rude and very unattractive to there main customer. Today I want to get my usual no chip manicure and pedicure $54.00. I asked the owner if they could reclean the bowl and he replied no its clean. I said no please just reclean please it again. The owner said no and if you dont like it leave so him and I had words and i told him the amount of money I spend and how much out community spend with you and this is how you treat your customers. Dont go they disrespect and they dont respect us.
