And I chose to pay for the service to come out above and beyond as they are not associated with American home shield warranty services. They were reliable knowledgeable pleasant and prompt. They also informed you of the services the tech was doing on premises. Love the service definitely recommend and I’ve already called back to get on a list for heating maintenance.

This company is great. I have used them multiple times and each time they were at my building within 12-24 hours repairing whatever needed to be done. Every time I work with Kamil who is always very responsive and takes the time to walk me through whatever needs to be done. Paul and his colleague did an amazing job at our center (Dreamers Academy). Ive used Global since buying our condo. Theyre extremely organized and send out appointment confirmations and notices their technicians are headed our direction. Ive also always been able to get a quick appointment, usually next day. It seems like they assign specific technicians to an address, since weve had the same person each time. Paul does a great job explaining what hes doing, how things are checking out, and what short and long-term suggestions he has for further maintenance. Billing is all digital, with e-mailed receipts and invoices. Global has done year checks on our A/C and furnace, and they replaced our water heater. Ill be calling them when we need to replace our aging furnace.

We requested that we were having issues with our HVAC and needed an advisor for what all was needed and implement it. What we got was someone who ridiculed us for not knowing what we should’ve been doing. He suggested that we might need a new system and we said okay. He didn’t follow up. We had significant issues less than one month later.

Mike was great! My AC broke overnight and I called around 6:30-7am and he was at my condo before 10 am to fix it, on a Sunday and Fathers Day no less! He was very helpful and accommodating. The service fee to come out was very reasonable compared to others. He was able to fix it right away! So thankful for the fast timing. Would definitely recommend to anyone and saved the number to call for any future needs.

I cannot say enough about my experience. I heard that they were professional and punctual on NextDoor so decided to give them a call. They were out within 2 hours despite mentioning that it was a busy day. They were extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient and I could tell they knew what they were talking about. I had the pleasure of working with both Mike and Paul and would not hesitate to use them and to recommend them in the future. Side note: they both wore masks which made me feel safe having people in my home during the pandemic.

Mike was great. Our thermostat went out overnight and it was so hot in the house. Called at 7:30am and he was there by 8:15. Turns out our thermostat was toast so he made a temporary fix to the wiring to bypass the thermostat and get our AC started again. Recommended that we get a new thermostat. He told us he could install it himself, but that it was easy to DIY and that wed save money that way. I purchased a Nest later that day, and he even helped support me via text as I was installing it. All-in-all, I highly recommend

Our 22 year old air conditioner went out on a Friday afternoon with temperatures in the 90s, forecast to continue for the rest of the weekend. We called Global since they were in the neighborhood and had good reviews. They were here within an hour, diagnosed the problem, and had the furnace/blower motor and air conditioner units replaced with new Lennox units within 24 hours from the time of our initial call, so that we had comfortable indoor temperatures by Saturday afternoon. Mike and the technicians who worked on the installation were professional, courteous, and worked efficiently. The old units were removed promptly, and the work area was left cleaner than when they started. We would not hesitate recommending them.

In the end I did need a new furnace and they did install it properly on a very short notice.Whats also impressive is they use technology to automate communication and appointments, you get texts when they are on the way, get emails with invoices and a way to pay on-line. I had a 24 year old AC unit that I needed repaired/replaced. Paul informed me of all my options and possibilities. I trusted his professional opinion and had him and his partner install a new unit. They were both knowledgeable, friendly and worked very diligently. I tried contacting another company and two “handymen” before I found Global. They were by far the only reliable and trustworthy company.

I want to put emphasis on professionalism. I had a 26 year old AC that died and a similarly old furnace that was on its last leg. Ordered both, they installed the roof AC and furnace in a day and ran a new wire to my smart thermostat. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. When they were done everything was cleaned up. Called around to a few placed and pricing is all pretty standard in the area.

Im so happy I decided to call Global! My AC wasnt running so well after having a handyman install a Nest thermostat. Global was able to send a crew to me just a few hours after my call. Mark and Mike were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I ended up deciding to completely replace my entire 18 year old system (new furnace, AC, and evaporating coil). Pauly did a great job with installation. He had everything installed and my home all cleaned up good as new in just under 5 hours. The new system is so much quieter and more efficient! Couldnt be happier!

Had problems with my AC and they showed up same day as my call even though it’s the busiest season of the year for them. Mike showed up and was able to identify the problem, however had issues getting access to my unit on the roof given I live in a condo building. He was more than accommodating and brought a team to help and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. Will be using them exclusively for my HVAC needs now based on this experience.

Charged (forced) me to “recharge” refrigerant. Hard sell on replacing my AC unit, and way over inflated prices for simple repairs. $350 for refrigerant, $475 for a capacitor ($15 part), and upwards of $650 for a fan without labor. I paid $445 for a hard lesson is getting ripped off. Only hope they didn’t ruin my compressor with overfilling the refrigerant. Run, do not walk away from them for a small job. Repair will cost me $150 plus my time on YouTube.

I am not sure how this place has 4.9 rating. I rarely write reviews but I feel compelled to bc it was a particularly bad experience. The tech was supposed to arrive between 8-9am and came at 10:45am. He arrives and spends no more than 10 minutes poking around the AC unit and diagnoses that it needs a new fan motor. I asked him how he knows its not the Freon or the capacitor and he couldnt give me an explanation and kept talking about the fan motor. He then calls his office and they cant get me a quote until Monday (It is Friday and 90 degrees outside) but the part could be $450-$850. He then told me using another company would be useless because all the vendors are closed by noon today. I asked about company policy for warranty on labor and parts and he had no idea and had to call his higher ups. Since $450-850 is a lot of money I called a different company for another quote.I called 4 Seasons Heating and Cooling. I needed this AC fixed stat bc my dog was suffering in this heat. I got a guy out here a few hours later same day and he performed tests and diagnosed it was the CAPACITOR. Replaced it and cleaned my unit and stayed an extra 15 minutes and took readings to make sure things were up and running well. I am SO GLAD i got a second opinion. It saved me hundreds and a headache.I am not sure if this tech is representative of the company but I will not be using Global Heating and Cooling, LLC for my HVAC needs in the future. The diagnosis was wrong and if I stuck w this company it would have proved to be an expensive headache.Update: I was called eventually and they stated that since there was a misdiagnosis I would not be charged $95 for a consultation fee.

Nobody likes it when our appliances break. Specially your AC on one of the hottest days and a Saturday as well. I had issue with cooling at my house in Chicago. I call my friend Eva and she recommended Global Heating & Cooling. She previously had good experience with their cooling services. I decided to give it a try. I called and schedule estimate (its free with service charge above $150). Next day Global Heating & Cooling arrived at scheduled time. They explain me where is an issue (low levels of refrigerant). Since they left my AC is working like new.
