I have been a customer of V-Nail & Tan for over 20 years and I have to tell you that I feel like Kim and her sisters and daughter are my family now, too. I jokingly tell Kim all the time that she has saved me a ton of money in therapy. (She is a great listener.) She has also humored me many crazy toenail polish schemes - mostly Panthers related. (Keep Pounding! Lol.) I am also a cancer survivor and I have pretty much been distancing since the pandemic began. I go to V-Nail and I feel very safe. They are going out of their way to make sure all precautions are in place. As far as services go, I mostly do manicure/pedicures, but I LOVE the occasional paraffin wax and salt scrub. After that treat, my mostly barefooted or flip-flop wearing feet are as soft and good as new!

Kim is absolutely amazing! I started to not feel well during my time at the salon and Kim helped me all the way through. She was very kind and considerate. Plus, she did an awesome job with my nails!

Ive tried many salons near here, but to be quite honest.I was not satisfied.I am in the nail industry, so I know this business in & out. I consider myself to be a high maintenance person, but they always leave me happy and satisfied with how much time, effort, and patience they have.One of the most disappointing things about going to the salon is spending your time, money and having to walk out satisfied with the work.These are very hard-working people & they are honest with the quality they bring to their customers. Assume youre looking for a professional salon with high quality. This salon is for you.I repeat I dont leave reviews like this for everyone. This was my first visit to Vnail, on the recommendation of a coworker. I was looking for a pedicure, where they could replace my broken toenails with acrylic ones. Not only did they give a great pedicure but they gave fast friendly service. I was greeted immediately walking in the door with a friendly greeting. As I was getting a pedicure I was immediately offered complementary refreshment to enjoy as they worked. Wish I only had brought a friend to chat with as I sat. Five stars all around, I will definitely be back.

I have been going to V nails for many years. Under new ownership by one of the employees who has been there for years as well. The staff there is thorough and efficient. Love that they file by hand. I’ve even convinced by husband to go for pedicures. 😁He might go more often now that they offer a beer or a glass of wine. Will definitely continue to use their services.{Deana}

This place is the best!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Angeline is my girl!! This is my fav place to go for just a little “treat yoself” kinda day! Drank champagne and got my nails done with a very affordable price tag. I am a man who loves gel nails and they make me feel comfortable in the salon which makes my experience even better! I love my nails!! The techs here will take good care of you. All my nail and waxing needs were met. They do not push you to change you mind on what you want. I went in not knowing what I wanted to get and they sat down with me and googled some ideas. They are very educational on all their product and services. I highly recommend this salon.

The service here is great! My nails have never looked so clean!!! They have so many color and design options and the staff is incredibly friendly (NOTICE: the salon is under new management so a lot of the older reviews really do not apply anymore). Definitely coming back.

As an older woman, my toe nails are thicker than they used to be. Nga took her time and did an amazing job of filing down my toe nails. The treatment which I received was a very pleasant experience which I would highly recommend to others.

This is by far one of the best nail salons in Charlotte! The service is so friendly and they do such a great job making sure everyone is safe and comfortable! Ive had such care on a pedicure only once before. The color is a by-product for me. The woman who helped me, cared for my feet. Im a massage therapist who gives my clients the quality of work I would want to receive. I received quality today.

I have been going here for years! They are very welcoming. They recognize you when you come back. They work on your hands and feet at the same time which totally saves me time! They file by hand. I love it there!

My nails were beautiful, but I was double charged and told I would receive a refund. Three trips there and two phone calls with the owner and now its 5 months later and still no refund. The last time I called to speak with the owner about this, she hung up on me. Be careful when they swipe your card and tell you it didnt go through. I will not return or recommend this business.

I have been getting my nails done for 15 years. I know what works on me and what doesnt. The lady that did my nails here didnt listen to what I wanted. She also was on a personal phone call while doing my nails. You dont just get one lady doing your nails here you get 3. One to take off you polish, one to do the and one to file. They file by hand, which is nice, and that is the only nice thing about this place. They clean out they pedicure chairs with dish soap, which is not how you are to clean them. The disinfection used to clean the nail brushed when you wash your hands had not been changed in a while. DONT GO HERE!!!

If I could leave less stars, I would. DO NOT GO HERE! I have never had such a horrible experience. I walked in and was greeted and asked what I needed done. I replied by saying I needed my SNS removed and wanted polish on my nails. I picked out a color and sat to wait. TWO more women walked in after me and one was sat immediately at the pedicure chair (thats fine, I wasnt getting a pedi) but the second lady was seated immediately at the manicure station before me! She even asked the tech youre taking me first? to which the tech nodded with a yes... I sat for another few minutes and was given NO attention! IDK if my SNS removal would not pay enough but they were so RUDE! This was my first time walking in and trust me, I will NEVER walk in there again. I went across the street to Wet Paint Nailbar and was accommodated immediately! I am a regular at Sami Nail & CO which is a bit pricey but now I know better than to look for a cheaper place. You get what you pay for! With 2 other great nail salons within walking distance, I highly recommend you give any other a shot before this place!

‼️‼️ RASCIST ‼️‼️ So I just walked into this store trying to get a pedicure and as I enter the location it’s one lady in the chair being assisted by two workers. I asked for a pedicure and the lady says “No chair” too big. Chair 300 pounds ! I say huh ? She says need bigger chair ! 😐 for one I’m not 300lbs I’m 260. I’m chubby but not that big. I goes to other locations with no problems! Never In my life have I ever heard of anything like that ! I’m black and felt like it was because I have been discriminated against!!

Never coming here again. Nails are wide and not even ! They don’t even use drill, they file by hand. Took way longer that it should and I’m very irritated. Not for the younger generation

Ive been there three times now, very rude staff. They charged me 70$ for a simple mani/pedi didnt realize I was jipped until a week later when I went back and actually read the price sign and was shocked that they ripped me off. They are very disrespectful, I wanted a simple design, the lady was so annoyed kept talking to her friend in her language every time I made a comment about the nails. Mind you the design I showed her looked NOTHING like the photo. I will NOT BE going back as I gave them 3 chances to make an impression and was not pleased. I also had family out of town a couple weeks ago and they were very dissatisfied.

The women in this shop are fantastic. I get a spa mani/pedi with gel on my nails and love it every time. They are consistent - always know exactly how my nails will turn out. The atmosphere is nice and I always look forward to my appointment. They file by hand, which is nice. I often will have 2 women working on me at the same time (one doing pedi and one doing mani) and this allows me to get in and out quickly!
