The only reason I come is because I like the lady Anne that do the nails & she does good lashes if I wasn’t for that I wouldn’t be here because it’s always something not to mention that discriminative man that works there & had the nerve to tell me they close after I signed in that’s why I took a pic with time stamp they close at 7 not 6:35 very unprofessional! This isn’t the first incident with himSn update: now it’s 8pm I been here since like 6:20 still no service just crazy everybody else that came after me is done & out smhNow in chair at 8:25

They are always backed up never get full service treatment only one person good at nails one person good at eye brow and lashes wait time to long. Its 2 much non sense for me. They get a thumbs 👇

Owner told me 10min wait. Turned out to be 3.5hrs. I got something so simple and it costed me $90 for gel full set with black lines around the tips. And a simple gel polish change on toes. Total was $124 that’s ridiculous. The man who did my nails cut me with the file which made me bleed. They didn’t give me a discount or anything. No great customer service at all.

Update 1/12/18This time was much better though there was still nail polish under my nails that I asked to be femove. Linda was my nail tech. Shes very nice and she made sure my thumb nails were fried completely. I do like the yellow scrub they give you to wash your hands and the end. I cannot rave about the cool color selection they have too.And a gel fill in is actually $27Original review 12/29/17 I came in for a gel fill in($27), nail repair ($3) and eyebrows ( $8). They have an array of colors and thats something I definitely like.Im giving 2 stars because nail tech station was clean. My 2 thumb nails didnt dry all the way despite going through the appropriate gel drying process. Extra polish was left under my nails when I asked her to remove it the nail tech told me I could wash it off at home with soap and water. When I did just that the paint smudged on both of my thumbs. There was excess acrylic around my nail beds.The staff is friendly and courteous but the operation needs some work on professionalism . As a nail technician she shouldve ensured there was no excess acrylic and nail polish on or around my nails and also she shouldve been able to tell if my nails needed more drying.This business is closets to my house so I wont say Ill never come back because in a pinch it will suffice . It just isnt my go to or regular nail business

Workers do not know service prices shop is not organized and not clean workers quoted $17 for a simple manicure and and I get the counter to pay I was then told $20 I will never come back again

This place needs to work on their customer service. My toes came out looking good however the guy clearly was inexperienced and nicked me 8 times with drill, made my pedicure water way too got and I couldnt put my feet in for atleast ten minutes or longer. When I asked if I would be discounted a dollar for each time I was knocked she looked at me as if I was crazy. I personally will not be returning here.

Got them done yesterday and I love how they look. People may say that they are rude, but people who do nails put up with a lot of rude customers and so it seems like a habit of how they work, this isnt some excuse, its what Ive noticed. They also come from a different background from those who come into the store so its expected. Nice people though, I can see it in their eyes and conversation. Thank you!

A picture is worth a thousand words and this is one of those what I asked for vs what I got situations. I showed a pic of what I wanted and asked how much. First I was told $65, but without glitter it would be $55, then $50 if it was short. I agreed to $50. This was my first time doing a powder set so I didnt know if the tech was finished or not. She took me to do my lashes and brought me up front to pay. I was disappointed in the job cuz it wasnt ombre like how I asked for but I didnt complain I just wasnt going to come back. But it gets worse. They charged me an extra $5 for shaping the nails and $2 to pay with a card. To top it all off, 2 nails broke off in a week. Which is why Im writing this review now. NEVER GOING BACK.

Love this place they keep up with trands. They are professional, and they listen. Really clean laid back atmosphere. They are usually less busy during week days in the am. Fri And Sat except a wait.

Ann is a phenomenal technician and she’s very talented. The quality of the nails and work is so good that mine can last up to 5 weeks. I always call ahead and book an appt because the salon does get busy but she’s worth the wait! Great conversationalist too! Highly recommend and I will keep going back every time I need my nails done!

If I could select 0 Zero stars I would. This place beyond unprofessional and disrespectful. This was my first time visiting E D Nails I was seen by nail tech May or Ay. I asked for a take-off ($10) and a Gel Mani ($28) she charged me $10 extra claiming It was because of a design that clearly I did not have on my nails. When I asked what design? She stated my multi colored gel paints were a design. When I asked why didn’t you mention this prior to painting my nails? She yelled saying “I should’ve known more than two colors are a design.” I then asked the Manager/Owner to explain why his employee did not explain the extra pricing prior to her painting my nails. He insulted my thinking and accusations and called the police. Confused and in protection of myself I called the police as well. Long story short DO NOT visit this nail location but if you choose to go please make sure you know the total price before and ask questions, but nonetheless this place will never see a dime of my money due to their ignorance. Ladies Beware.

Not sure why all of you ladies have had such a terrible experience but I have been going here for 5+ years and I love Ann and her husband...Ive NEVER had a nail to fall off or break going here and most times I go 3-4 weeks without a fill-in and usually have them take them off after theyve gotten too long or if i want to change the shape of my nails ....Ive never had an issue with customer service or their cleanliness and I have used their restroom and all on several occasions...Ann is also phenomenal at brows and lashes...she shapes my brows perfect!... Now, I have heard a customer request she place their lashes on the top. I could tell she really didnt want to do it that way but the customer was satisfied with here work. When it was my turn I asked her why she doesnt like doing them on top she said its because the glue will get gunky and it looks ugly....Ive never had my lashes look gunky the way she does them. she also offers semi permanent lashes for $45...I will say this the shop gets very packed especially on Saturdays they get a lot of business.... and most of us that have been going to her for years place appointments to avoid the wait. Besides Ann and her husband the techs switch up often too, but the do have a new girl shes pretty good too....the pics below are my nails with 5+ weeks since my last fill in, dont judge me my schedule has been hectic and I was out of town for 2 weeks on vacation and I refuse to go anywhere else.... I do have longer nail beds... Im not sure if that contributes to me not having a issue with breaking and lifting because I have more surface area for the acrylic and tips to attach to.

I called in advance 3:07pm to be exact I arrived exactly 12 minutes later. I waited over 2 hours to have my nails done which is why I originally came. I called and was told there was no wait. It was a wait so I decide to get my toes painted. It looked horrible just like last time. I came for the very 1st time about 10 days ago. I’ve lost 2 nails and they were rising 3 days later. Once again my toe polish was messed up twice just like the 1st visit. Anne placed 4 walk-ins in front of me while I waited for her you begin my fill in. My feet have been painted for over an hour and I’mStill waiting. I will never come back! Horrible customer service.

Came in for a fill in. Was kinda like a hmmmm but they took good care of my nails. My friend was like she needs 5 stars but her nails always brake when she go to them. I told her she sleeping and stop believing yelp. They can get 5 stars from me! Great work

Was able to walk right in,I felt welcomed and they had 3 plasma TVs w/ options for everyone. Helpful picking a nail color( lots of choices) clean,nice. I got a basic pedicure $28. Ill definitely be back!

I have been coming here for over 4 years and i have never had a bad experience. My nails are never chipped cracked or broken. I get pedicures and they feel and look amazing. I always request Ann because she is the absolute best. I get my lashes done here as well. If you are in the Charlotte area and need a calm and fast paced nail salon E.D is the place to go. The owner is very sweet & welcoming; salon is nice as well as clean.. My issue is that for the 2nd time in a row (getting fill in) Ive had a cracked & broken nail the very next day.. I went Thursday & on Friday I had 1 cracked nail & then complete broken nail. Ive been getting my nails done for 15 years & have never had this happen back to back like this EVER!!

They dont take their time with a customer. They will be helping multiple people at one time. It wouldve been nice to feel like they wanted your business.

I have been a client at E.D. Nails for over 5 years. I am always satisfied with the service I receive. The staff is very professional and go out of their way to make each client feel special.

I got my nails done here on 11/11/2016. The service was good and the lady who did my nails took her time. However, a week later the glue started to come off. Resulting in one of my nails coming completely off and another rising almost off my nail. I went to talk to the manager and was told it would charged as two nails repair. I could not believe it. Because of their low quality products and making sure the nail glue was good and completely on my nail I get charged. To me thiswas totally unfair because only ONE WEEK has passed since I got them done. I understand the policy is three days but they could make an exception considering it was on them. I would think twice in coming here. A good experience is just has important as having good policies to have your customers wanting to come back.

They do ready good job on my nails,Anne and her husband very friendly and they salon clean and they always have the new stuff. I love it,and come back again

Sometimes lashes r great and other times not so great need to take more time and put a little more effort in making sure both eyes are great customers pay a great deal for the services not to mention the extra 2.00 u pay for using your cards and besides it should be some kind of customer appreciation for being loyal for all years of loyalty

Best spa pedicure ever! They even do a hot wax dip. All for $25. I did come during a slow time of the day. I still cant imagine what the deluxe would have included:)

This nail salon is one of the best places on the south side of Charlotte! I would highly recommend this place. Ann is the best technician at ED! She fast and sufficient. I go every month for nails and eyelashes. .thats how great she is! I dont mind spending money here i love it!!

I have never wrote a review for a place before, but considering this was the worse experience ever, I just had too. I got a full set with pink gel acrylic on 1/8/16. I had to come back for the first time on 1/15/16 because I had a missing nail and other nails attempting to fall off. When getting them done, Me and my friend were being alternated with 2 technicians which I had to deal with 3. I have never had 3 people work on 1 full set. I am furious at this point because they were quick to say no refund but didnt come up with a solution. I wish I could speak to the owner because this is yet my second time having to come there (which is on the other side of town from my house, a total inconvenience) because my new fill in has a crack in the nail and is now chipped. I am not a happy customer. I barely get my nails done anymore and I thought I should treat myself since it was my birthday. TOTAL MISTAKE! I HATE THIS BUSINESS. The manager even hung up on me, and I was not being rude! WHERE IS THE OWNER??????

They used to much acrylic which made my nails lift up.. I only had them for 2 days

I was a permanent customer until my last visit before 4th of July. I dont know why Anne messed my nails up, but it looked like I needed a fill in after day 2 of having a new full set with gel. Everything was bad.Anne is the only one that can do designs that I know of, but even she dropped the ball now, so Im taking my money somewhere else. Dont get me wrong, when she takes her time, she can be great with the hands..maybe I caught her at a bad time 😫3

I was extremely disappointed! I was passed to a nail technician who was very inexperienced. I was in the salon for 2 1/2 hours, the lady had to remove the polish 3 times because she did not know how to do the design I wanted, which was very simple. I even tried to help the lady but she didnt want to take my input. I told her to take it all off for the 3rd time and let me go. Then less than a week later my fill-in looked like I hadnt even got one. I will NEVER go here again! They didnt even try to right her wrong.

I hate this place.......Ann is rude and does not have an idea about what customer service is about. The only reason I go is because she is good at one thing “lashes”. If it was not for that I would not come. When there is a problem they start talking in their language instead of apologizing or taking care of it. She does not know how to polish and she is the only one that knows how to speak English. My friend who referred me to her gets her nails done there and has a green spot on one of her nails and can’t get a full set until the infection is gone.......Get your money’s worth where you know they will take of you.

The guy cut my skin, its like he was scared to do my nails if he didnt know how to do it. My nail came off less then a week and my daughter nail came off three days later. I will never go back and I advise you not to go as well. Ann is the only one that knows how to do nails and shes always busy because shes the best one.

Worst nail salon ever! Dont go! I went to have my eyelashes and two persons could not handle. They put the glue inside my eye instead outside. She never asked me if I want outside or inside. From the beginning Ann was very rude. I requested to take off my eyelashes and they did not return my money back,besides that she wanted to take a picture of my eyes. I told her to stop doing that!!! This is the worst and dirty nail salon in charlotte! I wont never recommend to go there. I wasted my time and $20 for a bad bad service!!! Dont go!

This is the only place Ill let do my nails. I drive all the way from Gastonia. Prices are beyond reasonable and they always do a great job!Update: I last got my nails done on March 16th....then Covid 19 hit. Today is May 5th. My acrylic nails are STILL on. This is why I loved this place so much! I have moved as of last month and Im so afraid Ill never find a nail tech as good as Anne. :(

My friend had an allergic reaction to the wax under her eyebrow and her lip. My french polish on my toes looks like a fifth grader did it.. I did like the foot massage and pedicure.

Total disaster. The man didnt know what he was doing. He tried to put my feet is some dirty previously used pedi water. He cut off too much cuticle. I had to stop him. The Polish work was less than good. My grandson could have done a better job. This place is dirty and all there techs cant be licensed.

This is the best place in Charlotte for eyelashes.very reasonably priced and they last for weeks.i went to the beach got knocked down by waves and swam in the pool and they never came off and still looked awesome afterwards.this salon is also very up to with whats currently in fashion from colors to ombre designs.i love this salon.every is always friendly and nice as well.been a customer for several years now.

This was by far my worst experience with a nail salon. Their sanitary policies are questionable. The pedicure bowls arent sanitized. The the nail technicians arent properly trained on how to do nails or wax eyebrows. Not to mention, they use the same stick to double dip in the wax for all their clients. Which means the wax isnt sanitized as well. The owner is only focused on money and he is BEYOND racist and DISRESPECTFUL. When I told him that I wasnt happy with my service he insisted that I still pay because, it wasnt fair for her to do the work and not be paid. I wouldnt have any issue paying for a service that is of quality, however, this was far from quality work. The other technician stepped in and said, You have to pay. What do you do when you go to a restaurant and you are unhappy with the food? You still pay. I corrected her by saying, No we do not, we send it back and we dont have to pay. Thats good customer service. Needless to say, here the customer service here is egregious. Which is why their reviews are so terrible. Consumers beware! This is not a nail salon that I would recommend to my worst enemy. If there was an option for zero stars I wouldve chosen that instead.

This is the second time I have visited where instead of telling you there will be a wait, you sit waiting for an hour with your feet in water. I would have come back had I known instead of waited indefinitely.

I asked for a full set of gel nails, what i didt get is the gel nail color apparently that has cost an extra bit of money. the man working on my nails named Sam, did not work on my nails correctly. it seemed as if he kept rushing to finish up nails. he didnt even clean under my nails. when i asked one of the workers why was the gel nail color expensive when i already purchased my nails for gel, she gave me an attitude and was very rude. i do not recommend this place to anyone, service is horrible!

I showed up to the salon ON TIME when it was supposed to open and the owners showed up 35 minutes LATE. No sorry. No discount for having me wait outside.

They didnt do my nails good, I had lumps in my nails & they were uneven, crooked. None of them knew how to do nails whats so ever. I AM NEVER GOING BACK!!!! Money & time wasted.
