The property was clean and quiet. The apartments looked inviting and relaxing. I am considering this place because of its convenient location to everything. The trash compactor wasnt overflowing with debris and the outside porch areas werent stained with the residue of garbage stains. The lighting was perfect and the abundance of trees made for an even more beautiful enhancement.

I’ve came to clean head twice and the lady at the leasing office ignored me while sitting at her desk and the door was locked it says they open and 9am and when I got here there was a sign that said they open at 10am because they were doing tours which was a lie and now it says they open at 11am because they are doing tour but she is the building sitting at her desk with the door locked.

As a prospective tenant that is relocating from OUT OF STATE, communication is key. I have yet to hear from this place via email. I have set up virtual tours several times. Not once did I receive a link or a follow up email that states how this virtual tour will take place. On 12/22/2020 I had a virtual tour scheduled for 10am. No link received. At 10:05 I began attempting to call, no one answered. I gave up around 10:30. In the midst of all of this (from beginning of my apartment up about 1 week ago up until now), I have called the leasing office several times no one answers the phone. On 12/23/2020 at 12:14 I received a call from them. I answered the phone and said hello, someone breathed and then hung up the phone. I called right back, no one at the office picked up. I prefer virtual tours considering I am relocating from out of state and I would like to see places somewhat before making scheduling time to physically view apartments in the Charlotte area. My time is limited so I like to narrow down options by virtual tours, and if I like what I see, I proceed with a physical tour and proceed from there. This place is off my list for if there is a consistent issue with communication I can only imagine what it would be like if I had an emergency/issue as a tenant. Very disappointing and frustrating for the pricing and floor plans seem lovely. But if we cant communicate properly in regards to how I will be spending MY money, we have nothing to further discuss...I pray other prospective tenants have a better experience than I did.UPDATE: FINALLY got in touch with someone. Expressed my frustrations, no apology or anything of that nature. Their response: Ok. Glad I did not bother to put in an application. Horrible customer service. When looking for a place to call home, people desire to feel like they matter.

I moved in here in July and I’m not sure if it’s because of the current pandemic or what but the staff in the office always seem to be pretty busy/overwhelmed. The main issue I’ve been experiencing is clear communication with them. My mailbox key gets stuck and I’ve been waiting to get my other key back for awhile now. Every time I ask for it I don’t really get a clear answer as to why I haven’t received it yet. My toilet seems to be broken, it continues to run after I flush it and I mentioned it a lil after move in along with other maintenance request and this is the only thing that hasn’t been taken care of.. The apartment is a great space for the price. Lowkey a lot of hidden fees when paying rent. Overall love the apartment, very quiet neighborhood. I just need better communication from the ladies in the office.

The work orders are done in pretty decent timing. Any issues I’ve ever had have been addressed in adequate timing. The location is close to multiple things.

The worse place ever!! This should be your option Z. Don’t need anything and call the office they’re not gonna answer the phone. Not helpful and a lot of times have attitudes and rude. Issues takes days to handle because there’s no means of communication. On the upside the apartment is decent but everything else is horrible and makes it not even worth it. Maintenance, good luck.Trash compactor area stays disgusting!Just go elsewhere.

Edited review. I like my apartment which is the most important feature. Unfortunately the front office and maintenance team are incredibly lame. For the price you can do much better in this neighborhood. The front office rarely answers the phone and they NEVER return a call. All maintenance requests go under review before they respond if your lucky. Primarily they just close out the ticket leaving it unaddressed. The maintenance guys are horribly inadequate. People throw their trash out of their cars constantly which never gets picked up. Long story short...keep looking.

I enjoy living here and most of the office staff are awesome. I would give 5 stars but my move in experience 7 months ago was horrible. Lamar with maintenance does very well and my requests are handled in a timely matter. Overall, its quiet and I do not have any issues and I pay my rent on time!

Absolutely beautiful facilities! Cant wait until they are finished, but other than construction its usually very quiet. Also, this facility is super pet friendly even featuring DIY pet spa amenities!

Man Awesome is awesome. She has amazing customer service. We need more people like her. Every time I come in the office she always fixing my issues. Im happy the pool is open just waiting on that grill to come in.

Id gone in to look at leasing an apartment here. Great service on my first visit by Awesome Awute but as I got closer to moving in she just became a nightmare.Id speak with other staff members who found other apartments in the property at lower prices but then Id have to deal with Awesome again and the price would go right back up. The other apartments on the property would suddenly be unavailable after all or they would actually be a higher price than the one she wanted me to move into.Along with that, she requested different pre move-in payments and fees that the other staff members were unaware of. Anytime I brought these concerns up to Awesome shed have a sudden lapse in memory and simply not recall that conversation. I was putting up with it because the location and price were working for me but I realized too late that if this is how they treat someone hoping to move in, how would it be once I signed the lease?So I withdrew my application and my refundable security deposit is suddenly non-refundable even though I havent paid the full deposit. The attitude Awesome delivered this news to me was pure spite. Unbelievable.The apartment prices here are competitive for the area; apparently they save on costs by cutting out hospitality. Steer clear.

I liked this place when Michelle was in the leasing office. Since the new team came, many things went wrong.1. My package was lost in the management office about five times in a row month after month. It was up to me to call multiple sources to find out that the office themselves were responsible for the loss. The customer representatives I had on the phone had to point out their mistake and where the package was, in the office.2. I had a sink in the kitchen that had over flowing water and the maintenance guy just used a plumb to temporarily fix it, but the issue keeps happening again.3. Before moving out, I had a love seat in a moving container that I took out the following morning to replace it with more important items. The manager accused me of keeping it over night and sent me an email 4:21 pm that day for a $175 fine and a request for me to send it to the trash compactor, even after the couch was already at the trash compactor around 12 pm that day. She just saw it the day before in the evening and in the following morning and accused me of keeping it there all night.She also misinformed another tenant about where he could place some boxes and then said she was unaware of her mistake. It was too late for him to do anything to fix the consequences. I was discussing the love seat situation at the same time and suggested to the other tenant to file a complaint because I was going to do the same since she didnt budge. As a result, the manager very unprofessionally snapped on both of us and locked me out of the office. I just wanted to know who the property owner was and they wouldnt open the door nor respond.The manager and her assistant are both unprofessional and refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. I am trying to get a hold of the property owner because the office staff are seriously incompetent and should be fired.————————As a reply to the bottom response. It is an attempt to make people think the owner cares, but a fruitless one at best. The false accusation remains, the ‘sorry but we are not going to refund you even though we have no evidence that you kept your loveseat over night’ is still the final decision. And no one but the staff threatened the tenants, yelled at them unjustly, and got away with their mistakes at the expense of others.

I called to several apartment homes in the Charlotte area, she was the only one that continued to stay in contact with me and kept me updated on prices and availability. While I wasnt approved for the apartment Im still very gracious of the awesome customer service that I was given by Christel. I haven’t lived here for a full month and I already regret it. My mother and I just moved in during the first week of August. Prior to signing the lease, my mother informed the leasing agent that the dishwasher was filled with water which obviously means that it doesn’t drain properly. The leasing agent assured us that it would be fixed before we moved in. During the showing, we also noticed large holes in a few window screens & one window didn’t have a screen at all. Once again, we were promised that the issue would be resolved before moving in.Fast forward to moving in....I went to the leasing office to collect the keys and the leasing manager informed me that I couldn’t. She stated that my mother could only pick them up (I’m an adult also on the lease) because they needed to do a walk through prior to move in. Our move in date had to be pushed back a day because my mom worked during their business hours. After the inconvenience...a “walk through” wasn’t even offered.Upon entering the apartment, we realized that the dishwasher was STILL broken and filled with water. The window screens were still damaged and/or missing. We included the same problems on the move in checklist and still haven’t heard anything. After allowing the dishwasher to remain broken for so long, it has now affected our garbage disposal. The garbage disposal leaks under the sink and has a repulsive smell. I have to wait until after business hours to call the emergency maintenance line to even get help. Someone has attempted to fix the dishwasher and garbage disposal 3 TIMES and it still isn’t fixed. We have been to the office twice about this problem and still no response. We have called the office 100 times and can’t ever get through. Also, within 2 weeks of living here, my hot water tank had a huge leak into the apartment downstairs.I find it unbelievable that this apartment complex & Elan are owned by the same company. The comparison of reviews are night and day! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. We should have listened instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt.This is by far the WORST move in experience I have ever had.

This is the WORST place ever... I read some of peoples reviews before we got the apartment but because of the positive reviews we decided to go through with the apartment, we got in and discovered the door to the balcony is bad, the dryer dont work, the zinc flush dont work and lots more we made a complaint they sent someone he came over and fix just the door (never fix it well still the same) for almost 6months now the dryer is just there... our roof in one of the room fell off we complained they never come back to finish it ... dont stay HERE... please... there maintenance is WORST... We regret living here just want our lease over so we can leave....

This is the worst place to live new management is the worst they dont know how to talk to people then they Over charge you on rent. they dont answer the phone when you call they are the worst its so bad that people will move in and a month after they move out. I advise people not to move here you will regret it cant wait to move out of this place.anywhere els is better then here they Will tell you anything so you can move in then when you move in you start seeing extra charges on your bill. Do yourself a favor and PASS THIS PLACE! I moved in June 2017, the day of move-in I was asked to wait a few hours for the apartment to be cleaned. The office staff kept apologizing, and the man who handled my move in had came over and removed a red gas tank and other garbage that was left in the closet. That night, I noticed the AC was not cold. I opened the return and this filtered had probably not been changed in over a year. The next morning I took the filter straight to the office, handed it to Kelly Gilmartin, who was absolutely clueless and asked if I wanted to take the filter back with me to the apartment while the maintenance man returned with a clean one. Absolutely not - I responded.Follow that up a month later when I was ready to pay the Pet deposit and was told Great Danes are not allowed. No where did it state that in the lease. Once I spoke with the regional manager I was allowed to have the dog.I havent even mentioned the ceiling fan that was stuck ON with no pull chain and ignored maintenance requests to get that fixed, or the wall that was leaking with heavy rain, or the bubbling paint on the counter tops, not having new appliances or the washer and dryer, or the refrigerator they pulled from another unit with missing produce drawers when I moved in (Apparently, Kelly did not put an order in for the new appliances until AFTER I moved into the apartment).I ended up buying a house 3 months before my lease was over because I couldnt stand living there any longer.Bridges is in a good location, very close to work but the issue with the apartments and the below average office staff definitely makes me hard to recommend this to future residents, no wonder American Landmark are going to be selling Bridges at Mallard Creek and others soon.Good Luck Future residents!

The apartment itself is great, but we are repeatedly unimpressed with the office staff. First of all, we were promised before we moved in that our ratty, scratched up counter tops were scheduled to be replaced, and now that were locked in we were told that thats not happening. Our bigger issue is that after paying everything that we were told we owed up front, our balance is showing an extra amount due, plus three extra duplicate charges for our valet trash cost. After emailing three different people in the office with no answer AND speaking to them in person, we still have no answers, and obviously very little concern on their part. I wish I could say more positive things because the unit itself is great, just the office staff that is a disappointment.

Horrible complex. Please do not move in here. We endured 2 years of some rough terrain with several different management staffs but we were always compliant and did as we were asked. We began moving out in January a couple weeks PRIOR to our lease ending.. we had NOT turned in our keys, finished moving out or signed papers and a crew hired by the complex entered our apartment and stole almost 4,000.00 worth of possessions and after confronting them they refused to apologize or acknowledge what happened. We have lost a significant amount and it has impacted us greatly.

The fact that management responded makes it look very flagrant. DO NOT LIVE HERE!Do NOT move here if youre a single female. Too many things to complain about but a few are... Poorly maintained property, dog feces covered lawns, outdoor stairways reaked of marijuana as well as my lower level apartment, rude manager (Kelly), trash littered on stairwells, lawns and at doorway. No respect for your privacy if you work odd hours and no regards to the safety of the tenants. My door frame was broken and the door had to be slammed in order to shut. I requested repair multiple times and was disregarded. There are plenty more issues I dealt with but you can find a safer place to live for the money.FYI... Kelly stayed the manager after the buy out by Milestone. She has to be the most useless property manager I have ever dealt with. After Milestone bought the property the phone system was down for several days and staff could not be reached. Multiple water breaks and water being shut off EMERGENTLY several times.

My boyfriend and I lived here for about a year. We did not have AC the whole time we lived here. It was about 6-7 times we had someone come out and “fix” it but it never got fixed finally the week we were moving out they said they would put in a new AC unit in but that it would take 3 weeks to get here like thanks for nothing. It was hard sleeping in 90 degree weather inside your home. All together things were always breaking in the apartment and it was just a bad experience. The staff was great though.

Had a place with my girlfriend here, as we were moving out, the handy men on our last paid up, (the day before the first), decided they couldnt wait and throw a bunch of expensive audio equipment in a giant dumpster along with many other of my belongings. They strangely kept some of my obviously valuable items upstairs, and they werent thrown away. When I asked the people at the front desk, who, mind you, in a year Ive seen about 10 different sets of them, they responded that this is just the way it works. Great explanation. Just be warned, it was very hard to get a lot of things done, and when we would ask for them to knock first and only come in when we were they, this would be completely ignored. We had about a billion different things done to the place to renovate it although it seemed as cheap as it was when we moved in, we had new cabinets without handles because they ran out, this place is under new management, and buddy, you arent valued here. RUN AWAY

DO NOT MOVE HERE EVEN IF IT IS YOU FINAL OPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is by FAR on the worst places you could possibly live in my personal opinion. The Office staff DOES NOT COMMUNICATE with the residents about any upcoming events or information that will be going on, such as the water will be out for 2-6 hours. They are also hard to reach! The maintenance team will not fix anything in the apartment unless the appliance is literally deemed no longer usable. Living there has been and still is a terrible experience and I truly do believe that no matter how many other companies buy out this apartment complex, it will still not be a good place to live! I am truly appalled with the lack luster approach that the manager and assistant manager has when it comes to resolving a issue or giving you a straight forward answer. My washing machine has been making absurdly loud noise for the past 2 months and not only did they not fix it, but they had the mental fortitude to tell me that since it is an older model washing machine that it is suppose to sound that that!!!! With the amount of money that they require for rent along with all the other amenities, there should not be an issue at all with receiving a new washing making or any other appliances, but once again their lack luster approach to solving residents issues clearly is not a top priority to them....

Rickety, spider infested dump.Whoever designed this bonfire-waiting-to-happen needs to be made to live in the dank bottom floor of the lowest, wettest, and webbiest part of this complex. Nearly every building has something wrong with it, whether it be loose boards with rusted away nails on the walkways or broken stairwell lights that, despite dozens of reports to management, have yet to be fixed. Bridges my ass. More like Chutes and Ladders and accidents waiting to happen.
