My experience with the rental management staff at Rivermere Apartments has been excellent. Any concerns Ive had have been quickly handled. Everyone is courteous and respectful which creates a feeling of a warm and friendly community. The grounds are well maintained and any security issues within the community are addressed quickly and with transparency.
Like any other complex not everything or everyone is perfect however the staff is very courteous and helpful can’t blame them for the actions that we as tenants choose to do. It’s sad how day by day everyone knows where the garbage containers are but yet you see maintenance with garbage bags in there golf carts cause people choose to throw them where there not supposed to !Management is trying there best to make our complex look up to par, just recently they fixed our parking lots but if we as tenants don’t do our part I personally feel like it’s a waste of there time and efforts...
Place has potential but far away from a five star. They communicate with their tenants by leaving letters in the doors for the wind or neighborhood kids to get. So half of the time youll never get notices for when they are visiting the units or doing work around the community. Ive had issues big and small that has been reported since Ive first moved in and nothing has been done. There is a main road that splits the community where the childrens park is located and cars drive by going up to 60mph; after multiple suggestions about speeds bumps or signs nothing has been done so i fear for the families with little ones. Parking is horrible, I could barely see traffic when pulling out on to the main road due to parking on the streets. Manager is okay, but Ive noticed her staff has changed a lot since Ive been here but no real improvements in anything.

I have live here for a few years now and I love it, we feel safe and happy to call this place out home,The staff it’s really wonderful, everyone it’s very kind, lately the changes are even better they fix our parking lot, the staff it’s always cleaning everything and I love that they keep this place clean, Whenever you going to the office Ms. Olivera receives you with a smile and very kind,If anything breaks they will repair it within no time. ❤️

I have lived here for going on 3 years this year since May of 2017! Overall this has been my favorite complex I have lived. The staff is courteous and very accommodating and maintenance is prompt. They have gone above and beyond to make sure I am completely satisfied!!! The business center is a huge plus with having access to print and fax and use a computer! The area my building is in is pretty quiet for the most part!! I love their attentiveness to issues that have arose and their swiftness is solving!!! Proud to be a resident of Rivermere!!!
I put in a application a month ago and haven’t received any type of response. I tried visiting the apartment a couple of weeks after initially applying and was told they would give me a call or email within the week. It has now been a month since applying.The kicker is there is already a 6 month waiting list. They’re just making the process even longer. Rivermere is a nice community but we shouldn’t have to wonder what’s going on.They don’t even bother to answer the phone or return calls.

Just moved in and the staff has been helpful courteous and very accommodating. They have gone above and beyond my expectations so to them I say thank you. Maintenance is timely friendly and effective. Its clean warm and its home I am happy to be here. Lets put it like this you cant please all of the people all of the time but you can please some of the people some of the time and I just happen to be in the latter of the category.
I lived there for a year before moving back to my hometown. It was a cool place to stay for the time. The staff was great. Only issue I had was an AC problem and they had someone there to fix it same day. So no complains for me.
Been here a couple months and so far no problems! Quiet but friendly community and the management is good as well. A plus is they allow dogs and none of them bark all night long!

I stopped by Rivermere Apartments just before going back to Spartanburg, SC. I am looking to relocate in May of 2019. I will not be residing at Rivermere due to them not having immediate move-ins, but I would refer this place to anyone who is searching for a quiet, and peaceful place to live. The office staff is very friendly and easy to work with. I originally spoke with Diana who made sure that I was taken care of over the phone. She provided great customer service. Once inside of the office, I worked with Lavale who was able to guide me through the process. If you are interested in a place to live, I would highly suggest this place !
Ive lived here since 2007 and I love it here. I have and will continue to recommend this property!Office personnel and maintenance crew has always been very friendly and quick to assist with any accommodations when needed. I love that they also offer many different Holiday and Seasonal Family activities for the tenants to show appreciation!Im always proud to have my family and relatives come to visit, they are pleasantly surprised regarding the spacious apartments and cleanliness.
After living in Rivermere probably longer than most. I can say we have a great place to live. My son grew up here and he cant imagine going anywhere else. Thanks, Shannon and Staff for making this a great place to call home.

I have lived here for 3 years anytime I have had a issue and needed maintenance it takes multiple phone calls then you get told they dont know what to tell you, they went to the wrong apartment or hopefully they can get to it in a few days when the office staff told you that a week ago. The breezeways are dirty, people let their kids play and throw balls around peoples cars. Lately it has not been a good experience or a place I would recommend.
This is a beautiful apartment complex with amazing amenities, and was my choice when looking for a new apartment. Lavale was really helpful and answered all the questions I had accurately and in a timely manner.
KEEP LOOKING! This is not a place you want to live. If I could give them zero, I would. VERY unprofessional staff. The new management that replaced Dorthy is lazy and tremendously rude. Loud complex with break ins every week. I regret moving here and I will NOT recommend this place to anyone else.
I am a current resident and i hate it here. The rental office has a high turn over and the workers have nasty attitudes. I will be looking for somewhere to move ASAP. The current office manager Angela is the only nice one. I would not recommend anybody to move here . It is the WORST. If i could give 0 stars i would. The lady that was covering for Angela from the corporate office was very nasty and not friendly at all! Please dont let her cover again!!!
Been waiting on a call for 2 months now. They seem nice in person but you can NEVER get anyone to answer the phone. To far to keep driving. I just want to know the status of an application. Yes or no would satisfy me. Guess Ill try the head office.
Groups of people loitering in the breezeways in the afternoon and late at night. Vehicles in parking lot blast the bass at all hours. Sound restrictions are not followed. Parking is limited and often cannot find a space near my apartment. Main entry doesnt seal completely and smoke, leaves and water come in from the breezeway. Have been checked out more than once walking to/from my car to apartment. First-floor apartments have no privacy. Hot water is cold by the time it makes it through the pipes to the kitchen sink (adjusting the hot water heater had no effect). No amount of cleaning has removed or diminished the smell of the previous tenants. And the list goes on. I will be moving as soon as my lease is up, if not sooner.
I have lived in Rivermere for 2 years now and I can say that my experience has been great. My kids are happy and so am I . I love the convenience of the apartment loca, I am literally in walking distance of everything I need. the school area is great I go to work mind my business and life is great. I have great neighbors we work together when it comes to the safety and security of the kids in the neighborhood. As far as staff I can say Shannon goes above and beyond to assure that my needs are met. not saying things dont happen, I for certain get no special treatment because the ball has been dropped on my end a few times but when my issues were brought to managements attention they were addressed and corrected. I appreciate the fact that I am able to communicate with management about any concerns that I have within my community or within my home, that piece of the puzzle makes all the difference .......my apartment and my neighborhood are amazing and I am excited to be renewing a 3rd year lease with them. My experience has been very unpleasant! I would not recommend this unit to anyone. Some of the office staff is very rude and should not be dealing with public.Some of the occupants that are saying here are not sensitive to the fact this is an apartment building, the floors and walls are thin, therefore realize that other residents live beneath them. On numerous occasions this neighbor has been reported and this issue has yet to be addressed. Its as if management does not care. For the money you pay it is not worth it. As soon as my lease is up I will be moving out. I had peace when I first moved in but now I cant wait to move.
My experience was just horrible i do not recommend these apartments to anyone, im glad im not living there anymore. The workers are rude!, its noisy and kids always wanna be outside in the hallways talking loud and bouncing balls early in the morning. And one bad habit those workers have is they say something one day and the next day they switch up on you just horrible smh
Hello, Amen to that Ms.Kesh D!!! Thank you for telling the truth. I use to live over at Rivermere Apartments two months ago myself. Girl if you wasnt right about the office staff and maintenance guys oh goodness theyre so damn lazy!! Management over those apartments need to come in there and clean house. They do have gangs and people shooting at night over there. The breezeway are filthy instead of twice a month or year which ever one, they need to wash once a week. People have dogs ans dont even use the doggie poop bags. Tenants let there dogs poop on sidewalks where people have to walk in order to get to there apartments. Its ridiculous over at Rivermere. My auntie wanted to move over there I told her that she dont want to move into a ratchet complex like that one.They just want your coins and thats it!! No fixing nothing and you have to call and call and call. They DO have attitudes in that office they are very with an capital V rude!! Like youre not suppose to check up on your place where your paying rent. Please DO NOT move here Im telling you people you are going to be sorry. They also have a snake problem and some apartments have bed bugs. Please beware. They need to get some of those government assistance tenants and their company out. Because some people dont work and the guys just wonder around dealing drugs and doing whatever else. Ive seen this happen in my parking lot in the front of Dunn Commons when I lived there.
This is not a property I would recommend to anyone. The so called assistant is very rude. I thought this was a place of business but apparently not when I walked in and her family was all over the office. I came to pick up my deposit (decided against moving in because of the reviews online and the truth about this assistant) she didnt speak and I noticed the attitude all over her face. Once I got my deposit back and walked out the office she slamed the door as if my deposit was something she had to take out of her own pocket and give back to me. This is unacceptable behavior. Ive seen too many people come in and out wanting to rent an apartment and countless times before customers have even reached the door she had something negative about them. This is inappropriate. I was not your friend sitting across that table inquiring about an apartment and at no point is it ok to talk about anyone. So again I do not recommend this apartment. The property manager was great but unfortunately your assistant is helping u to lose business.
UPDATE:A few months ago, I wrote this review below and was pretty livid. However, I must give credit where its due and acknowledge the fact that I havent seen anymore pests in the area for a while. Im not sure what the property management did to resolve the situation. But I can appreciate not having to see bugs and roaches in the breezeway of my apartment building.BRING DOROTHY BACK.I have been living in my current apartment for almost two years in a second floor unit. Everything started out okay (under different management). I wont go into the list of issues I have with this complex since the new property manager has started. Ill just talk about my most recent experience.I have most recently been dealing with a pest issue in my apartment building. I noticed these huge bugs in the breezeway area on the first floor. I emailed my leasing office about them, but did not receive a response. A week later (still no response), I found one of those nasty bugs crawling around in my apartment. So I tried contacting the leasing office a second time via email (no response) followed by a phone call (no answer and no call back), but no response again. A couple days went by and I find another bug at my front door. So I tried calling two or three more times only to be sent to voicemail. By this time I am livid because this is now three weeks later and the property manager has yet to acknowledge me at all. I would just visit the office however I am at work during their office hours. The following Monday, I enter my apartment to find a small note on my kitchen counter indicating that pest control had visited to spray my apartment, but thats not the issue! The bugs are there because of the moisture in the breezeway and I wanted to explain that to them. I have actually seen them crawling in the walls. I spoke about it with one of my neighbors who has been there a while. She said, “it’s been like that for years and they won’t do anything about it.” This is crazy to me!Would I renew my lease here for another year? Absolutely NOT. The only good thing about this apartment complex is that it’s affordable and the units are spacious. Since I’ve been dealing with this pest issue, I can say that I have killed more roaches or roach-looking bugs in this short period of time than I have ever in my life. I honestly cannot wait to move out of here and move into a better apartment complex and community. I also find it amusing how notices are hanging on our doors if rent isnt received by the 2nd of the month, yet they cant tend to their tenants needs in a timely manner.No response at all is considered to be poor customer service in itself. If you call, they will NOT answer the phone, and I can honestly say that it hasnt always been like this. Anjyla (pronounced Angela) has always been AWESOME in that office in EVERYTHING that she does. But Im not even sure if she still works there anymore because of how service has declined in the recent months. I have been calling for almost 3 weeks because I just want to know the official end date of my lease.However, I was browsing the property on Google Reviews and discovered that the current property manager has been responding to online reviews of past and present tenants, but still hadn’t replied to my emails! They should be acknowledging the current tenants and try to resolve their issues, UNLESS theyre just trying to push us out (gentrification) in order to prepare for the Birkdale-like construction development going on across the street, which I think is the case. Its almost obvious....... BRING DOROTHY BACK.
Experience here is terrible! The Landlords here is very LAZY, RUDE, and unprofessional. The parking is terrible coming home at night there is no where to park. The community is dirty with trash everywhere and the maintenance people dont like to do there job and fix things in the apartment... its dogs barking all times of the night....The heating system is awful Im so ready to move I highly recommend TO NOT LIVE HERE.

Updated Review. 1/6/2019So i first gave them a 3 star only because the previous management, but now Ill give them 1 star. The reason as to why i am is because a lot of things have changed in a bad way.So since this new management has taken over they are never in the office when its supposed to be open.Maintenance work order never goes thru, i have put in work orders for my stove and i still havent received anything. And when they did come to fix something i never even put in for it.Parking is always an issue so is the dumpster always being full. Residents and non resident like to speed down the road and people like to cut thru the apartments to get pass the traffic. Tents will blast there music late at night, the kids playground are tooken over buy the adults, I have an ant problem in my apartment. The apartments floor and countertops are made of cheap quality.The only reason i am renewing my lease is so i have time to for a house. I would be glad to move to the newly built apartment next door.I have been living at this apartment complex since 2011 and it have been a good experience so far, the office manager is understanding and does what she can to fix each issue as fast as possible. YES when you live in an apartment complex there will be kids playing and running around the buildings.Many of the review i have read seems to be made up. The only way for bed bugs to get in is if you brought them in without knowing it.The breezy way are dirty because the residence are the ones throwing the trash outside. Leaving their unwanted items for the maintenance to pick them up, when theres a dumpster 5 feet away. Or how about put your trash inside your trash can. Even so some of these statments are true and seem made up. The noise is getting to the point of me just wanting to tell people shut the F. Up its 3 am or turn your damn music down. It has change a lot. But nothing will change unless they move some of these programs else where.Recently i found out that there is a new office manager and completely new stuff from maintenance to the office staff. I havent met the new stuff yet, but hopefully they are understanding as Shannon Green was.Hopefully i will not have to renew my lease for next year, because some of the people that stays here act like they dont have to follow the lease agreements.I wish they would upgrade the place. Its not worth 1,000 a month for the ones who pay market price.
Recently moved out of this complex 42 days and counting and havent received any information regarding my security deposit. Ive been gettring the total run around since day one. I was told recently by some lady they submitted my paperwork 12 days late and i had to wait 30 more days although the state of North Carolina states they have 30 days to return deposit or send something within that time frame. Also not only has this property went down hill over the last few years its full of confusion and increase in crime.
This place is horrible!! Kids everywhere playing in the breezeways throwing balls around peoples cars. This place has bed bugs Ive seen the truck out here several times people with bags on their balconies while exterminators are in there. Cars with loud music at night, groups of boys hanging out. Like some of the REAL reviews Ive read its like the projects. If you have another option use it because this place you will be very disappointed. Lets not talk about management my review should tell it all. And by the way beware of these fake 5 star reviews!!!! There is nothing 5 star about this place...
When I first visited this property it appeared nice, quiet and relaxed for the most part I was excited about moving here, but a week in I wished I hadnt . The area looks nice but trust me its not all that safe. Been here under a year and there was a shooting in front of my apartment building cops/crime scene investigators were everywhere for hours you couldnt use my front entrance and I had to ask the cops what was going on to get the truth. A week prior I heard a single gun shot. I saw the word gang written on a green box in the community which was eventually cleaned up (im sure after complaints about it) Ive witnessed two guys going from car to car attempting to break in them. Breezeway are filthy not dirty and although the maintenance guys are nice they dont fix stuff the first time around. Ive had to leave early morning for work and leave my house open bc the lock broke and wouldnt lock and that wasnt considered an emergency maintenance issue at 6:30 in the morning and the rude lady in the office couldnt understand my frustration! ESPECIALLY considering the fact that this issue had been REPORTED AND (SUPPOSEDLY FIXED BEFORE). Parking suck and there are to many kids/teenagers around throwing footballs and such in the street around peoples cars. Office staff DONT enforce noise violations and I had a package (just sitting) in the office for an undisclosed amount of time until I went in to pay my rent. The lazy office staff couldnt bother to call and make me aware of me having a package there. Certain of the office staff is unprofessional, rude, and nasty btw. Prior to moving in I paid my security deposit and first month rent (well what i was told to be my first month prorated rent by the office staff). So when I moved in I found a violation notice on my door bc the prorated amount I was told to pay (by office staff) was incorrect. I was never verbally told about the amount being incorrect NOR giving the opportunity to pay the difference PRIOR to receiving notice on my door. So Im curious as to how I receive a violation for an OBVIOUS ERROR on the part of the office staff..but I guess Ill never get that answer bc the corporate office wont return your call and the office staff knows that I assume which is why they will be rude to you and freely tell you to contact them.I could go on and on but im sure you get my point by now. Ill just say I cant wait to move from this place!!! So there you have it!!! Not a good place to live and be comfortable or feel at home.

The people who works in the office are extremely rude, especially (VAL) She is so arrogant. She dont like Latin people. Racist. She wont let you get an apartment if she knows you speak spanish. She basically controls the manager; and makes the decisions.
