Finished my 1 year here, only recommended if you want modern interior and clean neighborhood. I moved because of space. I found a place exact same rent for 2bedroom instead of 1bedroom price at the palmer. Plus you get charged for paint replacement (like normal wear/tare) here and light bulbs aren’t free replacements here for some reason. My refrigerator defrosted all my food and I had to ask for reimbursement. Very appealing to the eyes and positive vibes just really tight on your money here.
I am single so feeling secure is very important to me. I spoke to the staff and they were great. They made me feel safe. They introduced Albert as the maintenance supervisor and he is awesome. This guy really knows his stuff. Since these apartments are new I haven’t needed anything repaired but Albert taught me how to use the app to open my door. Very nice guy. Thanks Albert:)
The complex is beautiful! So peaceful and clean. The property manager Lexi Polyviou was awesome. She helped me in every way and went above and beyond! She is very polite and resourceful. She answered all of my questions and was very accommodating. Even after moving in she checks to make sure I’m settling in and i love it. The communication makes me feel welcomed!
The maintenance team here at The Palmer is A++. They’re quick to respond; they’re quick to make whatever fix you’ve requested; and if you’re working from home, they’ll enter quietly and won’t disturb you while you’re on your call/in your meetings. Alain and Albert are also just really friendly, fun, and dependable. It’s clear they care about their work and making sure requests are done correctly. Plus, they’re nice to my dog, too :-)
Great location and awesome place to live!!This location is prime due to being close to my job, my residence is spacious, clean and up to date with amenities! Jordan Mayes is the office manager and quickly gets any issues resolved quickly. Neighbors are friendly and look out for each other, close proximity to shopping areas and great places to grab a bite to eat! Quite and peaceful location!!
This property is truly beautiful; it truly is a reflection of the property managers incredible staff. Lexi was beyond helpful, kind, courteous, informative, and patient. My wife and I called constantly with questions or concerns, and we were always met with Lexis pleasant demeanor. Ive been living here for the last couple of months and so far my roommate and I have been loving it. Lexi at the front office was super helpful when we came to tour the place and has continued to reach out since weve moved in to see if we are getting adjusted and if we need help with anything! The apartment layout is gorgeous and so spacious! We have had a couple minor issues, but Alan, the maintenance guy, has been on top of it and fixed all the issues quickly!
I have to say hands down Albert and Alain have came to save the day. Very polite, very experienced, and mostly provides me detailed information to make sure I understand. They came to the rescue when I needed assistance with issue within my apartment. I appreciate them so much. Thank you Albert, Thank you Alain. The Palmer is a beautiful community, however, what makes it so great is the staff! Elizabeth, the Assistant Manager, is always attentive and ready to answer any questions we may have! From the leasing, to moving in, and now as residents, she has gone above and beyond to make my family feel welcome! The best apartment experience weve ever had!

I recently toured The Palmer with Elizabeth. She was friendly and took the time to find what was important for me in a new apartment home. I am looking for a one bedroom and the closets are amazing!!! I am not moving till the new year but The Palmer is at the top of my list!
I absolutely love this property! Excellent amenities and everyone that works there are super nice! I have especially excellent experience with the Maintenance Supervisor, Albert, he really knows what he is doing and he is prompt and very courteous.
I lived in the Complex from August 2019 to February 2021. And I can honestly say my time there was rather pleasant. The great thing about the apartment is definitely the amenities in the leasing office. During the pandemic, the leasing office has really stepped up to show a lot of resident support.As far as the apartment, the appliances are slightly cheap. The day I moved in one of the windowsills going to my balcony broke off after I just close the door. The white tiles will definitely stain if you leave anything on longer for 10 seconds. I never had any issues with really hearing my neighbor is outside of quiet hours in the natural lighting they came to my apartment was to die for. The location in the overall calmness of the complex is definitely a plus. You see a lot of people walking their dogs after work or just socializing in general which is always nice to see.The leasing office sometimes will forget to send you documents but they’ve been pretty responsive even after multiple request and we’re all only human. Other than that, I definitely enjoyed my time at the Palmer and would definitely recommend to others

Jordan the manger was great in getting me on board with my move here. Alexia and Tronnel were very helpful and inviting with answering all my questions and making sure I had what i needed. There willingness to help is superb. The virtual and in-person tour were insightful. No parking restrictions, valet trash, Key fob access along with an app. Grounds are always clean and you get notified about your packages. As a current resident recommend anyone to come stay here!

Jordan and Lexi were so incredibly patient and kind to my roommate and I. They helped us set up our accounts and they were very informative about the apartments. One of the main reasons why I wanted to lease with them was mainly because of the cleanliness of the apartments as well as the positive atmosphere.
My goodness, this place is GORGEOUS!! I am usually a penny pincher if you will... so initially being made aware of the prices at the Palmer was a no no for me. However, once I did my tour I was SOLD. You literally get what you pay for, so so SO worth every penny! And Lexi was amazing omg. I actually toured the property twice and Lexi made my other tour person literally look like garbage lol she took her time with my future roommate and I, walking up and down stairs, in high heels might I add 🥴😍 customer service top tier, answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable and patient. Just knowing that she’s gonna be here once I move in makes me feel even better about living here. The Palmer definitely lucked up with her lol my move in date is coming up and I cannot WAIT!!

Excellent staff. Maintenance has always been quick to respond to issues I have posted through our resident portal. The community is active, there are plenty of activities and events the leasing staff run. Great experience with TJ - was told there was an availability with the garage units opening up and did not have to track TJ down to lock it in. In fact, TJ came to me while I was in the community gym to confirm whether I was still interested in the unit or not. Customer service as it should be.

I lived at The Palmer for one year with 2 roommates in a 3 bedroom unit. The unit itself was updated and spacious. It also came with a storage unit attached to our balcony whereas at our new apartment we pay extra for storage. There has definitely been an increase in families within the past year. The leasing office team are helpful and kind, although it can be difficult to contact them via telephone.I have to say, I did not feel safe at this apartment as a woman who spends a lot of time alone. Upon moving in someone was held at gunpoint and robbed, as well as in June I came home to police cars all over the place. Very clearly a crime scene, and the complex did not provide any information as to what happened or provide reassurance that our safety was being considered or measures taken. They glossed over it and told us that the pool would be closed until further notice. I felt that was a poor judgement call and made me eager to move to another complex.Pros: Generally quiet, storage, quality appliances, helpful staff, nice lap pool, clean gym, close to Walmart & Publix, great location for access to highway and Uptown.Cons: Safety concerns, no elevator (groceries to the third floor sucks after a year!), pool gets rowdy/loud - lots of drinking and speakers and screaming, not a place to read a book and relax.
Alain and Albort were so quick and efficient. Got the job done in a timely manner and Im confident that the dryer will work from here on out.

I have loved my time at the Palmer. Its a nice newer community. Greatly recommend if you are looking for a place in Olde Whitehall. Staff is also great and helpful! Its a pleasure to have him here; issues are resolved promptly, or he has a conversation with me about why said issue wont be solved quickly. Kudos to TJ, as I probably would have felt discouraged and would have looked into leaving had he not made my experience so top notch!

TJ was my leasing agent and I must say he was really awesome, polite and professional. I found this apartment on apartment.com called the toll free number and set up an appt for a tour and got confirmation from the call center agent my appt was set but in reality it wasnt confirmed with the leasing office so they had know no knowledge of my scheduled tour but TJ didnt have any problems fitting me in their busy schedule and showed me there beautiful 2 bedroom model and I must say the pictures dont give it justice the apartments here are so BEAUTIFUL and when I first walked in I fell in love. the apartment is HUGE spacious bedrooms 1200sq spacious bathrooms, beautiful walk in shower and a beautiful modern kitchen with beautiful unique cabinets, neighborhood is beautiful and upkept pool, gym, café, game room valet trash and plenty more. I knew from there, this was the next place I wanted to call home. Tj was so informational throughout the whole application and the moving in process never got irritated with all the questions I would call and ask him and made the move in process a breeze you should LEASE HERE. Thanks again for all you do TJ and olympus properties.

I don’t understand I was referred to this apartment complex by my good friend Ife who currently is living there so I submitted my application and they locked me out of my accounts after she claim she could not verified some information I give her. I even contacted my supervisor and told him because she said my paystub had 2 different address so I called my supervisor and I let him know look something isn’t right. I try calling back and I even sent her all the information she needed to verify now she refused to answer my calls. Please avoid this place by all means she never reach out to my supervisor or anything. I would like a full refund she locked me out of my profile I don’t get it
While the community is beautiful, nice modern interiors the management staff on-site lack in clear, concise and transparent communication to the residents of the community. On June 25, 2021 shortly after 8:00 PM there was an incident where several gunshots were discharged with what I thought at the time was just close proximity but later found out that it was indeed just in the rear grass area behind the club house. Based upon the information I gathered from fellow neighbors it was unclear if anyone was hurt/killed, if the persons involved were residents or guests and how we as residents would be directly impacted. Being that many of the property staff live on-site, one would have thought that they would have been readily available to field inquiry from residents that were home. The next day early in the morning we received two separate email blasts: the 1st was a general glaze over that an incident occurred to cause the closure of the pool-with no definitive details and the 2nd was that the leasing office would remain closed until Monday morning. It is now two weeks since and the pool remained CLOSED during the holiday weekend-pool furniture removed from the area - and no further communication to the community in reference to the incident, any updates, status of the use of the pool or plans for enhancing the safety of the community at large. As a concerned resident, I have personally reached out directly to the office for understanding and clarity and all I received in response was a simple response of We regret you feel that way. To which I waited an additional two days then followed up to the initial inquiry and have yet to receive a response. I will add that I have not met with the current staff in the leasing office in person for a few reasons: management changed during Covid, the hours in which I also work. However, with the number of methods of communication one would think that a phone call, email reply, text message..... management would have reached out since more than one attempt to gain understanding and clarity was requested. Next steps are to reach out directly to Olympus Property Management to speak with reginal or corporate level. Just wanted to provide neighbors and potential residents an accurate picture of what it is like to be a resident in this community. Other than the lack in transparent communication and poor resident relations on managements part - it is a nice place to live. Not sure that it is currently worth the value per sqft, customer service and lack of access to a featured amenity. Also, unfortunately the one bedroom floor plans are not designed so that the entrance to the bathroom is from the hall and not through the bedroom. So if you dont mind all of your guests going through your bedroom youll be fine.Update as of July 15, 2021: Thank you for your public response but I will not be reaching out again directly until a response my last direct message on July 2, 2021 to the office is answered. It is nice to know that resident concerns are ignored until its posted publicly. You have made it clear that your public appearance is more important.
I lived at The Palmer for a short amount of time but in that time I had such an amazing experience! The neighborhood is always super clean and quiet! TJ and Lexi are the best they helped make my moving out process super seamless and easy!

I have been a member of the Palmer community for almost two years now. And, since day one my expectations continue to be met. The new office staff under the leadership of Jordan and Ezra has brought about some really great changes and additions that continue to be beneficial during this pandemic. Food Truck Friday is EPIC! Groundskeepers does amazing work as well!

One of the best things about living at The Palmer is Albert! I can always trust him to handle all of my request in a timely manner. He goes above and beyond to take care of all the residents. My experience has been interesting at The Palmer. I will say the new property management has been a lot better than the initial one. They are quick to respond to any issues. I have two complaints, the ceiling/ walls are extremely thin and no one wants to hear their neighbors and their personal business EVERY DAY! I think this may depend on the unit though. The other is safety concerns with a particular neighbor. Other than that, the apartment is ok.
Just moved in The Palmer on 12/4/2020 the staff was very friendly and supportive. Lexi, LJ & Jordan. Very much impressed with Alain and Albert maintenance guys. They both went above and beyond what needed to be done in my apt. they both are very friendly and funny. Very professional as well. So far so good the first few days that I have been here.
I have lived here a couple months now and have really enjoyed the property. Any issue I have had has always been quickly resolved. Albert and Alain are both so helpful and nice. Generally, Im a little uncomfortable with people coming to my apartment, but they both make the process pleasant. Albert makes sure its fixed quickly and correctly and if its not, then he will come back asap to make sure it is.I will update this if things change for me as I dont tend to leave a review before my lease is up, but Ive been really happy at this location so far.
While looking to relocate to Charlotte I stumbled across this property and decided to call for quotes and availability. I had the liberty of speaking with Jordan Mayes, Property Manager and was highly impressed with his level of professionalism and knowledge. Also, I was excited to hear about his future plans for the property and areas of improvement. Give them a call, you wont regret it.
Very new and clean apartments. Beautiful landscape and grounds are very well kept. The maintenance crew is the best I have ever experienced. Albert and Alain are fantastic at what the do! They listen and fix any issues I may have at a timely fashion. Couldnt say better things about the Palmer crew!

I moved here about a year ago! It’s been one of the best places be lived. The community is quiet, neighbors are very friendly and everything is up to date. Shout out to TJ in the office for figuring out some things quickly! Literally I called and an hour later it was fixed. Ever since the new company came in, it’s been an even better experience. As a resident, I appreciate the little stuff like that!

I love living here and just wanted to give a big thank you to Alexia Polyviou (leasing agent) for alerting me to the fact that Island Boys and Small Cakes were coming through. Theres nothing like arriving home from a long day of running errands, only to find that dinner is waiting practically on your doorstep. I havent had any issues living here so far. My first time calling the office, I spoke to Lexi about a noise complaint and she was super friendly and handled it immediately. She made me feel at home and made me glad I picked this place, the tenants are mostly very respectful and the staff is amazing! Highly recommend.
I have been in this apartment with two property managements from 2019 Feb till March 2021. Initially it was good and later the property management has changed . It the response was so bad. During my move out they did a general inspection and I clearly asked that what all needs to be done before I move out they mentioned that paint will be taken care off. So I had a maid who did deep cleaning for my house and she even cleaned the carpet and stuff. Once i handed over the keys they sent me charges of 400$ which doesnt even make sense to me . They added the 40$ for carpet cleaning for which I already did . And 300$ after completely cleaning my apartment and when I called them and asked about that charge they told me that they was some food smell in the apartment which is weird it should be noticed on the pre inspection day itself and how can a apartment smell bad after deep cleaninh doesnt even makes sense to me. So bad olympus service is so bad. And the quality of construction is so poor. Its my honest review. You get a better one for the price your paying.
I have recently moved BACK into the Palmer after having lived there when they were first built. The reason for leaving then was personal, and if I could do it again I would have never left! This time my experience has only been heightened by the experience I have had with the maintenance staff. Albert the maintenance supervisor and his right hand man have been incredibly responsive to my needs with my new electronic lock. Albert always made sure to reach out and leave voicemails, updating me on everything along the way. He was so kind as to answer my call while on lunch break! The staff here is amazing, the grounds are beautiful, and I suggest this community to anyone looking for a smooth, friendly, and easy move.
I had a wonderful experience with a leasing expert named Lexi. I am very picky when it comes to my living environment and made 3 phone calls to the leasing office. Lexi was able to answer all of my questions and reassure my concerns. She was very personable and friendly and gave amazing customer service.

Today I had an issue with my refrigerator, Alain and Albert came within 24 hours to fix it. TJ, who I spoke with via phone who works in the office was also very helpful, transparent and honest! I definitely think The Palmer has an awesome staff and I am very grateful for all three of these individuals today!
Ive been anticipating my move to Charlotte NC, I didnt really know the area and started to inquiry about different apartments. I came across The Palmer Apts, from day one of speaking to T.J. the front desk assistant hes been nothing more the a professional, patient, accommodating agent. After applying and receiving acceptation from multiple apartments . Im deciding the Palmer, just off the fact of TJ hospitality and professionalism, Im so excited!

The Palmer was very impressive and had all new appliances. The space has high ceilings and a nice size bathroom. Just did a tour with TJ, and he was amazing. Very friendly and informative as well. TJ was able to answer all our questions and had a bright personality.

My experience with the Palmer was horrible. After looking at more reviews I’m so grateful that I did not move there. Their communication is terrible. My husband and I planned on moving there back in August so we gave a security deposit in May. Due to the horrible reviews of how the property communicates with their residents we opted out on August 4 and canceled our move in date which was at the end of august. We were still within the time frame to receive a refund and the Admin had no problem with our request. 30 days go by and no refund. So i reach out and the lady tells me 45-90 days after cancellation (even though the first lady told me 30 max). So I checked back in 2 weeks, no one has an answer. They gave me lots of run around information to the point that I went through google reviews too see the response other reviews we’re getting. I reached out to a suggested email and finally got my refund check in the mail November 2020.
I have been residing in this apartment for a good amount of time. The management is excellent they helped us regarding the leasing issue with patience and guidance ; if there is any issue a there is a quick response and help is one call away especially Albert and Alain are both an amazing persons very kind and courteous getting us our work done and help us out for most of the issues.
