There are so many options for management teams in Charlotte, DONT GO WITH A BELL PARTNER PROPERTY!They manage with gross negligence in hopes that the problem (YOU) will go away. The company is poorly managed from the top down, and right back up again.Need something done? Routine or otherwise? Perhaps just a question? Then be prepared to strong arm it all the way to the VP to for an answer. And even then issue still wont be resolved.Care 0% about their tenants wellbeing, and only about their pockets.Building maintenance is low priority. Things remain out of use for months at a time.Units are not properly turned over (filthy.) Pest infestations. They make claims, but safety of their tenants is not a concern as long as Bell is not liable. (security patrol)...the list goes on and on.Living in a Bell Partner Property has been the worst life decision Ive made. Make better choices for yourself.Counting down my sentence...
I have called and called about the property I am at. They keep saying the manager of that district will call u. They never do! My air conditioning has been out for 3-4 weeks now. The apartment complex brought in a little window air conditioning, that doesn’t even cool the house. My temp is set on 70 degrees and not running. when I get home from work it is over 80 degrees in the house. I guess I have to call action 9 to get something done. I’ve told them to call professionals like Morris Jenkins or brother air.
I have only lived here for 2.5 months and it is a NIGHTMARE. I have had 3 floods, a wasp infestation, a shower that they wouldn’t fix for a month, and a roach infestation. They are unresponsive and dragged these issues out to last for MONTHS. I had to throw out all my food due to roaches, rent a room for several nights at a hotel because of roaches, can’t use the patio where the wasps are, and didn’t have a shower to use for a month because they wouldn’t send someone to fix it. For all of this, they offered $20 and management was very disrespectful, unhelpful, and rude. We are still dealing with these issues even now.
ASHFORD APT:I put in a work order for my door to be repaired 3 weeks ago & Im still waiting for it to be fixed. Trash disposal needs to be repaired as well. Its nasty and dirty there trash is always left on walk way. Im still waiting on my mail box keys. Raccoons are on the stairs case every morning and nite.. Im constantly made promisesby the lease office, they will get to me and never do..!!😡😡
I have lived in these apartments three years with no problems at all. Bell Partners take over and the staff is inconsiderate and unconcerned. To add on to the list of issues I have already had with this new ownership, I went to ask about getting a parking sticker for my new vehicle. There are TWO individuals in my apartment and on my lease, including myself, capable of driving but I am told NOW it will be $35 additional MONTHLY to have two vehicles! Not a ONE TIME FEE BUT MONTHLY!!! Its bad enough I can hardly have guests over because there arent enough visitors parking spaces and they are SURE to tow your car. I pay rent monthly and cause no one any issues yet on top of gates not working, etc. Clearly Bell parners cares nothing about the tenants and strictly about getting a dollar. If you are considering moving to one of their properties DONT!!!
Trust the poor reviews! We wont be staying for a renewal on our lease specifically because of Bell Partners not because of the property itself. This management company is the worst experience I have ever had as a renter. For the future my partner and I will make sure that we will never rent from a company that is bought buy or managed by Bell Partners.
One Norman Square Apartments in Cornelius NC is horrible! The management here is extremely poor. They sent me a bill for the months rent, I paid it, and then 2 weeks later they tried to charge me more....even tho I have my bill and my receipt. Theres not enough parking so you have to park at other buildings and walk to your building in poorly lit lots while being harrassed and stalked by people lurking around. Its extremely unsafe, and if you complain about it, they try to tow your car! Unbelievable! Theres terrible water damage from over the years and they refuse to upgrade anything or even clean the carpets...the only way theyll clean your carpets, as I was told by Leslie and Danielle themselves, is to allow the cleaners into your home while your not there. They literally told me I would have to let a stranger in my home and I wouldnt be allowed to be there....not only is that unsafe, but its extremely fishy. Its not worth the amount of money one pays to live here anymore because its so unsafe. The management is the worst now, if you check out the reviews on the website...they pretty much say it all. It might look pretty here, but its massively dangerous and eerie even.
My rent was due May 1, 2021 and today is May 12,2021 and they are serving me with eviction notices already and we not even passed the month of May! This is unacceptable
Terrible management company, I wouldn’t recommend renting at any of their properties. They truly do not care about their residents.
Cov-19 Poor Communication and false promises- Shame on You part 1Beisde this situation, I have loved my time at Anson at the Lake!I have lived at Anson at the lakes apartment, a Bell Partner Property, for 2 lease cycles. Due to COVID-19 I was furloughed and was forced to apply for unemployment benefits. I had all intentions on renewing with Anson for a 3rd lease cycle but my unemployed was denied after 2 months waiting. I notified my Lease Manager, Elena Cliento, May 11 that I had been denied and would not renew because I was currently living off savings and without benefits - I didn’t want to sign a lease without income. This conversation was over the phone. I voiced my concern regarding the fact that a 2-month move-out notice could not be given because my lease ends June 8th.If I wasn’t denied benefits I would have renewed and paid my rent with my unemployment funds as planned. She told me not to worry about any penalties regarding moving out and to respond to the email she would send with proof of hardship (which was my unemployment denial letter). I thanked her for assistance and told her that I was appealing the denial of benefits but my appeal hearing wasn’t until June 9, the day after my move out date, So I asked it was possible to move out 2 weeks later so I could have my hearing and potentially start receiving benefits. I informed her if I got benefits I consider signing a new lease so I wouldn’t have to move! She told me to respond to her email with everything I requested and my documentation. I sent everything over the following week as I was just allowed to work again and was calculating if I really needed to move, seeing that my income was starting back up. In end, I decide to proceed with my move out because my hours were ( and are) severely reduced.
Called multiple times regarding illegal activity occurring within living quarters at one of their investment properties, because that is all it is to them is an investment, they dont care about the residents living in their space as long as they make their money. They also have implemented an optional program called WIPS which basically takes advantage of poorer residents because they dont know they can actually just use an e-check for free. WIPS charges a fee each time their rent is paid, which is easily overlooked if you are a less intelligent or poorer resident that doesnt know any better. How does it feel knowing you are gathering fees/ripping off residents AND allowing illegal activity at your properties?
