Me and my boyfriend have been living at Alta Croft for a little over a month now. Our leasing agent JoaQuila was so helpful with the entire process from the application to getting moved in. The ladies in the office have been awesome with answering any questions/concerns. The property is very nice and is well maintained. We love the amenities such as the pool, car wash and clubhouse. We were lucky enough to move into a new unit and havent had any problems. The only issue is the floors are very thin and you can hear people walking around above you. Weve noticed the same with our unit where if we walk around it probably seems like were stomping around to the people under us. But overall, we would definitely recommend the Alta Croft to anyone looking for a newer and modern apartment complex!

Current Resident of 3 months: I love my apartment and really like and appreciate the leasing agents! They have always went above and beyond for me, as a resident. However, the property manager, Ashley has been nothing but rude, unresponsive, inconsiderate, and to put it very simple, a liar. Upon signing my lease, I was promised a $400 gift card, which I still have not received. I’ve reach out multiple times about my incentive and have gotten the run around each time. The leasing agents have truly done their best, but the manager has lied to me time and time again about when I should expect it.I’ve been understanding and really nice throughout this whole process, truly. I had to wait a month for my mail key and second apartment key, and that’s after having to ask for it. I was also flicked off by a valet trash man and had video proof with my Ring doorbell. So, please understand that I’m a very patient person. But, I should not have to hound a property manager for something I was promised at the point of signing.I’m a professional and a experienced manager at that and can really appreciate great communication and transparency. I strongly think you should reconsider who you put in place as a manager, especially when they show no care or concern for their residents.The point of my review is to show that if you want this apartment for location and a beautiful space, this is the place for you. Nevertheless, set your expectations extremely low for a great management experience and anything in relation to incentives.

I moved here from Michigan 4 weeks ago. I did all my business virtually with Taylor. She was very responsive returning emails and phone calls. It was a big move for me, and Taylor made me feel at ease. The apartment community is lovely. The other tenants I have met are kind and respectful. My apartment is very modern, clean and new. I have been very happy with my apartment and the leasing associates and other staff. I will recommend AltaCroft to others if they are looking for a great community to live in.

I am still waiting on my refund and many other people with the same reviews are dealing with the same problem from Ashley. Be sure I will make sure she held accountable. I will be speaking to the district manager about her in the hopes that they can replace her. This is personal for me is giving me the run around for my refund. She is messing with the wrong person. I applied here around the 1st of April and was given the run around on my application for over THREE weeks. I literally had to keep calling them at least twice a week. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ADMIN FEE! I emailed and called corporate and still haven’t received a response. It has been almost 4 months! This is ridiculous! If you want to waste $300 apply here!

I am moving to Charlotte in a month for work and Ive been having trouble getting places to give me tours of their property. Walked into Alta Croft and the young lady there Taylor was able to help me immediately. Showed me around the complex and answered every question I had. A great place to live with super helpful staff. I am excited looking forward to moving.

This is a very upbeat and modern community and you can tell they spent a lot of time with the devils in the details. The floor plans are great and area is too. I especially like the saltwater pool and the bike share program, which is great for those who love the outdoors.

I came in and spoke with Taylor & she was very helpful and very professional, this is a great place and I’m definitely excited to make this my new home!

Beautiful Community and great customer service. The best cared for community. Elevators in each building. Nest thermostats, ceiling fans in each room. Best appliances that I saw. High ceilings. In the Mallard Creek High School District and very close to the school. The pool and club room are just so lovely. The office was enthusiastic to help. I appreciate all of that.

Alta Croft has been amazing! My last apartment complex was horrible and Alta Croft has been a breath of fresh air! Nia was my leasing consultant and she was amazing, from the lease signing process to move in, it was all a breeze! My neighbors are extremely respectful and it is relatively quiet. The location is great, the amenities are clean, and the property is clean and maintained! Thank you Alta Croft for making my home stress free and relaxing!

Dont them with a dollar. Take into account the dozens of reviews about this community lying about a promotion or running off with a refund they promised such as the administrative fee. Well, I applied and didnt think much about it and now I am a victim of their games. Dont trust them with a dollar.

I simply love my apartment! It is spacious and I call it my penthouse. I have lived here since September 2020 and no complaints! I give it 2 thumbs up.

Recently just went and looked for a new place to move and jonquila was as big help during the process she was very helpful and resourceful and made the process very easy didn’t have the unit i needed available but i definitely will be keeping you guys in mind

I absolutely LOOVVEE this property so much!! Alta Croft is truly a place to call “home”. While you get to enjoy every amenity under the sun, from a personalized yoga studio, to a “state of the art” gym, salt water pool with poolside cabanas, and a few different community activities...this property is constantly promoting a sense of happiness and wellness. Not to mention, the team in the office is always super amazing, and helpful!!

I awarded 2 stars because I like my room, but thats about it.Alta Croft is a newer property that has a lot of potential. The unit I rent is of good quality, the clubhouse has nice pool/gym areas, and there is a car and pet wash available for use. That being said, it doesnt appear that any effort is being made to maintain this place for current or future residents. The pet wash is always a mess, the working condition of the car wash equipment tends to be hit or miss, and the general presentation of the property has declined over the time Ive been here. It is understood that you pay a premium to live at a location with the amenities that Alta Croft offers, but keeping these amenities in good condition definitely doesnt seem to be a priority to the Alta Croft staff.Speaking of the staff, it doesnt appear that Alta Crofts team has any ambition to go above and beyond to win or maintain client relationships. The main goal of the team seems to be to push all issues to the online resident portal, therefore minimizing their involvement with residents. If you wish to contact them by phone, it is very possible that you will be met with attitude. Whether it be a simple maintenance request, or assistance with scheduling a gym appointment, some team members cant help but sound inconvenienced by your phone call. You are better off doing everything online anyways, as there have been numerous occasions where this team hasnt followed through on simple requests. Based on other reviews, it seems as though I am not the only one experiencing this.For the rates that Alta Croft is renting at, the value is simply not there. Speaking from experience, there are a number of similarly priced properties nearby that you would be MUCH better off at..

Been living here since August with my sister and fiancé. Nice community and great area! I wish they didn’t put turf grass in the dog area but the pet spa makes up for it. Car was is nice also, Alta Croft has really great amenities!!!

I toured with Quila yesterday and she was just amazing! She was so sweet and gave me a great experience. I would definitely recommend Alta Croft to anyone looking for an apartments. 10/10!

This community is soooo AMAZING. The office staff is superb, especially Joaquila. She has been the BEST and a huge help for me since I moved from out of state. I came across these apartments back in March when I came down to look for a new apartment home. Once I saw them from the interstate, I had to see them and as soon as I did, I was sold! I moved in in June and they handled the few hiccups I had dealing with moving out of state with such patience and grace. You should definitely try out this community, you won’t regret it!! ☺️

Believe the other reviews. I’ve been here since March and they’ve been giving me the run around about the $500 move in gift card. I was told I had to have lived here for 3 months (it’s June) before I could receive it. I’ve called every week since May and I get the SAME excuse, “Corporate loads the cards on Friday’s and your name is next on the list.” I have yet to receive it! If you expect a complex that holds their end of the deal... well, you’ve been warned. Other than management, I would recommend for the location, amenities, and apartment format.

The amenities are very nice and spacious!! We are moving from out of town and looking for a new apartment around the area. Joaquila gave us a tour and we absolutely loved It!!....She was also very professional, knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Might hear from us in a couple of weeks!!😊.

I love living at ALta Croft. My apartment is large and beautiful. We enjoy the amenities and the maintenance is very quick with responding to any issues. The staff is super friendly, especially Ashley, shes so amazing and attentive to all our needs. I highly recommend this community.

They promise you a gift card upon moving in but they come up with excuses. Its hard to believe a word they say. I feel fooled since signing the lease.

This is a beautiful apartment complex in a great location in Charlotte. The office staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the apartment was constructed poorly because you can hear your neighbors yell, stomp, AND talk literally all day/night. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend living here, you will be miserable. If you decide to stay here, try applying for the top floor.

While the buildings are newer, they are built very cheaply. Ashley is hard to deal with and she only wants to assert herself.

Very poor maintance on buidlings built from budget material.The building is already falling apart. We can hear everything from people walking outside to every sound our neightbors utter and trust me, our neighbors arent loud.

Ashley was incredibly friendly and professional and answered all the questions we had; and boy did we have questions! The property’s design and landscaping is very inviting and stylish with lots of amenities!

Searching for a home is really stressful however my experience with your agent Joaquila when viewing one of your units was amazing and made my experience one of the best throughout my apartment search ! She was very professional and sooo nice and patient with me. I’m still searching however if I know anyone who is looking for a home I will refer them to her she is great!

While taking care of business, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go beyond their job description to help me find my perfect retirement apartment! It was like a kid in the candy store the units were all so lovely! If you are looking for resort living with a home feeling, this is defiantly your place! Most of all I really appreciate the professionalism and warm environment. I believe living at ALTA CROFT will meet my expectations above and beyond my dreams!

I would higly recommend you dont think about applying here. They will deny you, even if you exceed the requirements, and steal your 200$. I hear from many residents that the quality of the apartments inside is poor and there is alot of break ins. I am glad I didnt move there.

Great atmosphere! Maintenance was always timely and professional with repairs and were genuinely nice to be around.

We had a great experience on our tour, Andrea was just awesome, so genuine and kind. Meeting her really put my nerves at ease! Working with Nia to secure our apartment was beyond exceptional service, so quick to respond to emails and answer questions. We already felt we made a solid choice after touring with Andrea, but after working with Nia, she cemented it. A cross country move is challenging in its own right, and because of the amazing staff at Alta Croft securing housing was anything but challenging. A true pleasure on our long list of to do items. I look forward to being a resident that makes one feel as welcome as the staff does... I sure have big boots to fill!

Amazing experience. My friend and I toured this apartment complex today and everything was extremely clean and well decorated. We had Cedric and Nia as the leasing agents. Both of them were very welcoming and super professional. They made the process of applying smooth and easy. I would highly recommend this complex if you’re looking for high quality apartments as well as a high quality staff!

This review is more so geared towards the property as opposed to Wood Partners. The establishment itself is nice looking on the outside but the quality is poor. My family and I can hear all conversations, activity and all foot traffic taken place in nearby apartments. Not to mention that the foundation of the building is falling apart as well as the carpet being poorly installed. When my family and I signed the lease they stated that we would receive a prize upon moving in and still till this day half of the residents have not received their $400 gift card. The sad part is that they want residents to pay their rent on time in order to receive the gift card. My rent is always on time and its been over 5 months and still nothing. Anytime anyone calls the office they will transfer you to a different property as opposed to the office itself. The property has potential but there are things that need to change. The lack of communication is horrendous between management and residents. Management needs to be changed immediately

The best employee I have ever worked with so far

Upon moving in back in November, my roommate & i were told that they had a move in special for a free tv and one month’s rent free. Once we moved in & inquired about the tv, we have been told so many different requirements that were not previously stated & Ive been on property for almost 5 months now & STILL have not received our tv that we had to sign an addendum for. Not to mention since we’ve moved here, there have been several car break ins and the door to the mail room has yet to be fixed for well over a month now. The parking lot has screws in it sometimes, I had to get my tire replaced, and i put in a work order for my microwave and my AC & neither have been fixed. I’m completely over it, this has been the worst experience I’ve had since I’ve moved to Charlotte & i do not recommend.

Nia has been such a great help with our move. We moved in August 8th and it has been the easiest move Ive ever had. Place was clean and any problems that we had were addressed right away. Whenever I called to come see the place, I was always welcomed with open arms. If your looking for a nice smaller community then this is your place!

We moved into this community in May, and we love it! The apartment is beautiful, the pool is amazing, and you can tell the ladies in the office take pride in the community they manage. We’ve have never lived in such a pleasant apartment complex. Huge s/o to Nia in the office! She has made our experience/interactions so wonderful. Moving here was the best choice!

I love alta croft and the staff. Nia is AMAZING and made my move super easy even before I moved in. The property is beautiful and well kept. Im able to hear my neighbors walking/stomping that are literally next door to me. Youre able to hear conversations and slamming cabinets. Its to the point that Im disturbed from my sleep because you are able to hear EVERYTHING.

My 1st taste of the professionalism was when I called to inquire abt their 2 bdrms. It has been a long time since I encountered such professional phone etiquette. Joaquila was outstanding. I made my appt to tour the facility & the entire office has been phenomenal! If they are any indication of the quality of my stay, Im confident I will be satisfied.

Nia was wonderful when moving in! She was so prompt to respond to questions and was so professional when we had last minute requests. Moved in within the past month and I am extremely happy with my choice. Apartments are beautiful! They are close to a few different grocery stores, restaurants, and about 15 minutes from Center City Charlotte.

There are several reasons why I choose Alta Croft apartments. The location, amenities updated appliances and the staff.

Great area to live and beautiful apartment. Sadly since we’ve been here there has been ups and downs to the actual living accommodations. Seems like there continues to be problems that arise throughout the community that don’t seem to be resolved as quickly as it could and should. Maybe it’s because they are new and still trying to get their footing to being a better place to live. In other words it has great potential but it’s just not quite there yet! Hopefully these issues start to get resolved quickly!

Love love love living here! It is safe, clean, and the staff is super kind. Any question or concern I’ve had since the beginning of this process has always been met with speed and knowledge by the leasing staff, Nia.

Staff does not know how to talk to residents. Ashley is very rude and needs to be retrained on customer service.

Made the application process a two weeks process. After applying I was approved with in seconds. Never felt a sense of urgency.... Even though I called and visit multiple times.....Explain my lease was up and I was staying in a hotel with me and my kids.... Never apply at a place which dragged their feet with people that have been approved . Didn’t want to keep applying places paying admin and application fee. Only giving two stars for beautiful place. Really bias management.... apply down the road at a great place moved in the next day.

Great value and awesome location. I strongly believe thats where it ends unfortunately. The team lacks professionalism and communication bringing the quality of this residence significantly lower. The right attitude just isnt there with some of the leasing specialists. Therefore I wouldnt recommend sadly. As a potential resident I recieved a lack of communication, misleading information when communicated, and just overall rude remarks. So I couldnt imagine being an actual resident. Good luck!

I had a very bad experience with this place. Ashley rejected my application based on her temper and not my qualifications, while I met every qualification and more. 4 months later, I still havent received my administrate fee back.

Moving here has been a great experience! Not only is it a great community, but the team here is professional and responsive. My wife had a couple of minor issues, but when brought to the attention of management, they corrected them right away. 2 people that have made a true difference in our experience are Nia and Cedric. From the very beginning, they made the move a smooth transition from corporate housing to what is now our home for at least the next year. Cedric and Nia are both professionals and you can see they take pride in what they do for this community. If youre planning to move here, we highly recommend working with Cedric and Nia to make it seamless!
