I Want to thank Ms. Debbie for the Genuine Stellar Service and Hospitality she displayed as she shared her community with me. She made me feel like I was visiting family. Service like that expresses the joy of the 16years shes dedicated to this community and its residents. Not to mention the model was EVERYTHING! 5 STARS Ms. Debbie!

Ive never had a serious complaint about this property until now!! Ive been living here for a little while now and to find out that basically your stealing money. I do not nor will I ever use the fetch system but youre telling me you are going to charge me for a service that I have not agreed to? Where is that in my lease agreement, its not. So every month you are going to bully me into giving you $10.50 for a service that I did not sign up for. Im pretty sure that you the company would not continue to pay for services that you dont utilize. I need answers and this needs to be resolved. Im not sure if everyone else is aware and looking at what you are being charged for but if you have not signed up for this service, you are definitely being charged for. In my opinion this is fraud. I refuse to pay for this service. So I will deduct $10.50 from my monthly rent.

I haven’t move in yet but so far I’m gonna excited about moving in. Jeneesa was a big help. I definitely wouldn’t have gotten it without her help. She’s great at her job.

Great apartments, great communication, fast application process, if you are in need of someone please go to janeesa she is the best and will help your move way easier and she is super great at what she does! These are friendly and nice people and the apartments are looking very nice

The people in this office other than Janessa seem to have an attitude with there job. Then when you try to speak directly with her they intervene as if they want to help. Inside the apartment are very nice and updated, however outside gates don’t close, potholes all around community, non working pool (but apparently you aren’t billed for it nor the outdated gym that kids are in and out of), non working alarm system, and some fetch package service where your required to get your packages .?? and a “view charge” in your amenities. You call the office with a concern or problem it’s disregarded as if you’ve said something wrong to them. Some place to call home…..

For some reason all my photos didn’t add in the last review but here’s more of the roaches the apt was infested with. Again Ms. Debbie you deserve the position either Carmille or Darcey has. Neither of them should be in charge of anything but getting a better attitude towards ppl renting from the property they are in charge of managing.

I visited the property for a tour on 6.12, but called ahead days prior to schedule the appointment. Ms. Debbie is such a wonderful tour guide and professional! She answered all my questions during the tour and call and showed me two floor plans in person. The Sunroom is an attractive feature that is more and more convincing for me to apply and finalize my stay, so we will see what happens!

Janessa is wonderful, I had a few issues moving in & she made sure that everything was resolved . Highly recommended to do business with her while leaving here . She’s really amazing !!

Everyone in the office besides Janessa is extremely rude. I had one of the office staff roll her eyes and continuously blow her breath because I was not aware they are no longer accepting cashiers checks as an acceptable form of payment. I contacted the property manager over the phone and she was completely dismissive of the behavior and implied that if she accepted my cashiers check basically what is the problem. If you care anything about having respectful communication with your leasing office I would avoid moving here. Prior to moving here I was warned by a previous resident to only deal and communicate with Janessa and I should’ve listened.

Barrington Place/Avana Avebury was a good living experience for me. The 2 years that I lived in this community I had no problems. JaNeesa was my initial leasing agent. She along with the other leasing agents were always pleasant. I enjoyed living in this community.

They keep spamming me about a lease I did not initiate. I dont know if it is incompetence or an attempt to defraud.

I went by the office to get information well after 9 am. What seemed to be the entire staff was in the bldg, but I was told they were not open by them pointing at a sign that read were open, please come in. I sat right outside watching them talk while trying to at least get someone on the phone twice and no answer.

The move has been great. Janeesa is wonderful and my fiancé and I love the area. If you were to call here ask for her and she will do her best to help !

The only helpful person is Janeesa. Very kind, friend and polite. The rest of the team is unprofessional.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with this complex . When I came into the office I was a little sketchy but then JaNeesa Ransome helped me !! I have never had such great service and experience great leadership in my life I would recommend these apartments and her to anyone she definitely cares about her tenants!!! 5 stars in my eyes !

I stayed here for a year I’m moving out tomorrow. My stay here was wonderful. The leasing agents including manager were very helpful in so many ways even during the whole pandemic. I wish all agents cared for their residents like Ms. Carmel, Ms. Debbie & Janessa does. Any work order i submitted was cared for in good timing. There were a few neighborhood incidents that were out of the leasing office control though. The move in process was very smooth. Only reason I’m moving is because i want a balcony. I will miss my sunroom for my home office and food truck Wednesday.

I have had a phenomenal experience so far, my leasing professional JaNeesa has made this process effortless and very enjoyable. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. Before I even came in for the tour I felt like I was apart of the community. From the high level of customer service and all of the help I received from JaNeesa, the whole process has been outstanding! She has been the best Leasing Professional I have experienced by far!

Constant vehicle break-ins, the leasing office has been aware of the issue for some time now and have never taken any type of action to prevent or make people aware of the issue. Not only do they not care about the destruction of your property but they won’t even clean up the glass in the parking lot from the broken windows.

Stayed with this apartment complex for almost 2 years and will be looking to move out. The maintenance team is prompt. The downside is the tenants, they leave their trash on the ground instead of throwing it in the dumpsters. The worst part is how nobody has addressed the weekend gunshots being fired.

This is absolutely the best place to live, the location is great. The apartments are huge and the price is lower than many of the other properties in the area! The office staff is amazing, they are very hand on and go over and beyond for their residents. The maintenance staff is second to none, the turn around time is less than 24 hours! If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I Love Barrington Place Apartments! They are very clean and have a homey feel. The grounds are always kept super clean. The office staff is amazing and are so sweet. They are always willing to help you with whatever you need. The apartments are a great size and are very open inside. I would recommend them to everyone.

Barrington Place Apartments is Awesome. Ms. Debbie and Ms. Carmella are very nice. Whatever you have a questions they are always there to help me. The maintenance team, Mark, Michael Patrick and Hymie are the best maintenance team I have ever seen at an apartment building. They are always there to help with any situations with my apartment. The rooms are huge with a sunroom. I have viewed many apartments, I am so glad I am at Barrington Place. Also the upgrades are wonderful inside the apartment and outside.

I have lived here for almost a year.The office staff is pleasant. My biggest concern is the breezeway.Im soo embarrassed to have company. I wanted my relatives to come visit me for the holidays.But their first impression going to be .I live in the ghetto. The side paneling in our unit is disguising..Its trash,beer bottles, can everywhere..I had to even take Clorox and a rag to clean up.on the outside where my door .is.They really

We love living here the staff is really nice and understanding. Anytime we have a maintenance request it is always filled fast. They have been doing some Awesome upgrades such as a NEW roof and NEW fireplace. It definitely is worth checking out.

Ive been living at Barrington Place for the past two years and have absolutely LOVED it!! The office staff has always been warm and welcoming (they feel like family), the grounds stay upkept and beautiful, the pool and gym are clean and lovely to be in, and the homes themselves are beautiful. The maintenance guys are friendly, and weve had several upgrades over the last couple years. I highly recommend this place for families and anyone who likes a calm, peaceful neighborhood.

I am absolutely 100% dissatisfied with this community at the moment! I have lived here for not even a month yet and am completely in disbelief at my current situation. Yesterday we experienced a maintenance emergency in our home. We called the maintenance emergency line and was told to leave a message. We called multiple times and still no answer...finally after an hour we get a call back from an automated number saying someone was on the way. Soon after I received another call from the person that is supposed to be coming letting me know they will be there tomorrow morning....FOR AN EMERGENCY! I asked why tomorrow? Can you not come now? The only response I received was we are coming tomorrow.We are still without power and heating in our apartment in these freezing temperatures and had to sleep in those conditions.It is now the afternoon and our maintenance guy is still a no show nor are they answering the phone.Why is it an emergency line if no one is there to answer or provide help?I am in disbelief at the moment.

I can hear my upstairs neighbor so clearly it’s like there’s nothing between the ceiling and their floor. The gate to the complex is never closed or it’s always broken. I miss having a balcony, the sunroom isn’t enough light. The apartment is mostly dark, so if you enjoy natural lighting this is not the place for you. The stairs and the walkway are wooden and getting old because you can hear EVERY step that someone takes outside the door. This has been an interesting experience living here and I’ll be glad when it’s over.

Before my neighbors moved in, I would have rated at least a 4. However since September, I have experienced a nightmare. I have complained about the noise, base, running around etc. Guess what I am still dealing with in April noise, base, running around and much more. My neighbors run around the apartment waking me up in the middle of the night. I have done EVERYTHING Reagan has asked me to do from calling the courtesy officers to calling the police and nothing has changed. I have emailed her to let her know when it occurs and all I get when I stop in is they called the neighbors. I was offered to move to another apartment but it would extend my lease which I am not trying to do. Now my neighbors have a 3rd roommate living in a one bedroom (thought it was two heartbeats per bedroom), guess not here. The new roommate accidentally dropped laundry detergent and guess who didnt clean it up and of course it went all over my door floor and everywhere. I am beyond tired of coming home to this nightmare each day. MY apartment is suppose to be peaceful but management has been allowing my neighbors to be a nuisance. When I asked for the corporate number I was told by Reagan to go online to find it! Please dont reply with the generic response you have been replying for everyone else. I will not be calling you all to discuss anything because all of the emails show I have been in contact with you! I guess since you dont live here and dont have to deal with it then it isnt a problem. I shouldnt have to turn my TV on and up to tune out my neighbors! I shouldnt be able to sing along to a Bruno Mars song with my neighbors upstairs or hear my neighbor singing LEAN ON ME.ReplyI apologize for the delay in responding. All I want is respect in my home.  My neighbors lifestyle should not overflow into my home. It is unfair and I’ve been HIGHLY inconvenienced. I should not have to suffer while I “live out my lease. I have been civil without any consideration as a tenant of this company or citizen of Mecklenburg County.  At this point, I am not satisfied with the efforts the apartment management has taken because no solution has been reached. I am still paying rent for a dwelling that does not meet my needs or expectations. I would like to speak with Jessica as well!

If i could change a previous location from a 1 to a 2 i would, beacuse i thought place was the worst until i was proven wrong. The staff does not care at all about helping you out with anything. Fitness room is a joke. My one bedroom is larger than the fitness room not to mention it being over priced. I am currently having to pay a charge that was added after my on time rent payment, which is throwing me over what you could be paying for a 2 bedroom or even a decent house. For the price, nothing of interest is near. And then there is the gate which has worked a total of 3 weeks in the 2 years i have lived here, and thats just the front one. The back entrances arm is often completely missing. I have gone through three neighbors in 18 months and all have been loud and or disturbing, and i swear its salsa class every day upstairs. I am really turned off by what i have experienced and if you are smart enough to check reviews before signing a lease i wanted you to have an honest review.

Ms. Debbie has been great helping us lease our new home for our family at Barrington Place. We enjoy our new place.

Terrible apartment complex. Smoking and garbage everywhere

Cant say enough bad things about this place. This place is advertised as a non-smoking property, but that is far from the case. Cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke are fluent on this property. The apartments have extremely thin walls, can easily hear people upstairs having sex. Even though it is a gated community, people easily get through by waiting for residents; cars roll through early morning with music blaring from cars. The maintenance workers are about the only thing that this place has going right for them, they are kind and courteous. I would NOT recommend this place, there are plenty of other places around this complex. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I love where I live. I know for the price I have the largest apartment in the area.I had a maintenance issue recently (just like you would anywhere else) and maintenance took care of the problem within 3 days. Great guys, busy and hard working.The other people who have commented have had bad experiences, but I want to know of a perfect place to live, those dont exist unless you purchase your own home.The office staff is nice and friendly and really give you a personal experience. They are also really busy and hard working, so give them a break if they are not kissing your feet whenever you walk in, they are doing an awesome job.If you pay rent on time, and have patients, and understanding, you will love Barrington Place.

The apartments look Nothing Like the Model apartment they show its totally two different sizes and apartments. I definitely recommend nobody not to stayed here the manager had a really bad attitude. [Ms Jessica] was the one that show me the apartments you act like she hate her job. Need to put somebody more professional in charge!

I had the pleasure of living at Barrington Place for 1 year. During that time I enjoyed the not perfect but very helpful staff and very spacious apartments. The community is very nice and the grounds are always well kept.

I have lived here for about four months now, and I have really enjoyed my stay. The office staff is very friendly and have always helped with any concerns that I have had. The only downside that Ive come across is it isnt the cleanest place.

These apartments are not the best they make it seem like it is. But it isn’t people smoking marijuana everywhere and you can smell it from far. People gathered at the car wash talking and smoking marijuana and hookah blocking the streets and the entrance to the apartments. People leave their garbage everywhere. Put some complaints and they haven’t done nothing my boyfriend car got broken into and they didn’t do nothing. Went out of town and left my car here and got a sticker for towing when I got back it was on my car window. They don’t even properly paint the walls and doors they just paint over everything instead of fixing it. When I moved here the carpet smelled like smoke. They have so many hidden fees for a one bedroom apartment that isn’t even all that big is 960 but that’s not even what you pay because they have a lot of hidden fees which weren’t even in the contract .. definitely am not renewing my lease here ready to move out.

Janeesa Ransome had made moving in the best experience I had ever had in my life and I am fifty years old. I hope that it is more people like her to provide excellent customer service.

NOT WORTH IT!!! Absolutely the worst place to stay. their website glitches all the time, even if we make a payment on time and their website glitches they charge you extra fees saying it is overdue fees. We have payed on time for the past 2 years but they are blaming us for their issues. Once i move out, i will never look back at this horrible place!!!!! also the management are racist, so anyone of color....beware they treat you like you are not worth their time!

I rather sleep in a homeless HIV tuberculosis ridden dump than do this again.!!!! Thank god I got out of here months ago DONT MOVE HERE PLEASE !!! Rent is too high for no reason, THIN walls !! They have hidden fees !! And no making sense overdue fees !!! you can hear EVERYTHING you walk and its like the floor about to collapse !! Too small for the price .. dining space is too small,,, no open space no windows on kitchen just the rooms .. feels like you cant breath fresh hair. Poor location everything is far no near stores Walmart laundries gas station nothing all is far !! People smoke it goes inside the aprt u can smell the weed like if you was the one smoking in your apt, old neighboor car was broken into, They just fool you by great paintings on walls and appliances,, I rather get a cheaper place and repair it myself !!! Whoever is ok with all this is clearly blind and stupid like I was or dont know nothing about how a place should look like .!!!

Barrington place is a great place to live! Relatively quiet and great staff.

Beware of the office theyll sell you the apartment just for your application fee. They never returned mine after running my credit and taking my 75$ she stated that there wasnt anyone waiting for approval . They keep hanging up on me everytEve I call for my refund.

Fix the gate, we pay too much rent to not even be able to get into the neighborhood.

Maintenance is friendly and quickly resolve small issues. They clean up behind themself. If you arent home, youll never know they were there other than the one sheet they leave.The management staff rarely do what they say they will without constant follow up - call backs, follow through, etc.The gate is frequently open (or broke) and people share their codes all the time.Bugs come in the apartment through the baseboard and the wall, and the management staff only wants to spray. I requested they resolved the problem multiple times and spraying isnt resolving anything, so they finally had maintenance re-cork the baseboard under the carpet in one place instead of all over. So now the problem continues 1 or 2 a week instead of 5+ a day. They preferred to spray than to re-cork the entire apartment as it needed.Cant wait for the lease to end.

Dont lives here, its very ghetto, my car has been broken into and when mentioned to management the response we got was, are you sure? that has never happened before. My finance car then later was broken into, they stole his radio, cant wait to get out of here! Other tenants smoking weed in their apts, you can catch contact, in yours its so loud. Plp leave and throw trash every where. Rent is way to high for this crap, run far from here dont live here. Forgot to mention the gunshots we heard a couple months ago.
