Ive been a resident at Camden Gallery for 3+ years, first in a studio and then a 1-bedroom. I love the location right in South End: close to a light rail stop, the Rail Trail, galleries, restaurants, farmers market, and shopping. I only have to drive my car once a week because everything is walkable (I walk to work or ride my bike). The gym and yoga room suit my needs for exercise and physical therapy exercises. The pool courtyard is a gem and my balcony overlooks the pool. The Sky Terrace has gorgeous views of the Charlotte skyline and doubles as an outdoor living room. The building and grounds are neat, tidy, and well maintained with common area furnishings recently refreshed.The staff is very professional: right from the first contact through lease renewals and addressing maintenance needs. My maintenance issues were always addressed within 24 hours by courteous staff. They rose to the occasion when I recently had major surgery performed out of town, and offered to assist with mail retrieval and watering my plants while I was away. I love coming home to my apartment and relaxing at the pool, sky terrace, or a walk nearby.

A great luxury apartment with friendly staff. The pool, rooftop terrace, gym, club room and e-lounge are all fantastic. Some of the cons we ran into were ongoing maintenance issues with our ceiling leaking throughout our lease (which were always quickly responded to but never quite 100% fixed), increase in renewal rent by $800, and the move out process had very little communication. Otherwise if youre looking for a place in a prime location with great amenities this is it.

Im not usually one to leave reviews but this place deserves it. I travel for a living and have lived in a lot of different cities which has resulted in many different properties and hands down this is an amazing property. My experience living here and dealing with the staff has been above standards. To top it off, the area of town is definitely one in which youd want to live in if you are new to the city. Thank you to Jamie, Alex, and Victoria... you guys have been key to making this experience so far worth my time. Also, Id like to note that the quality of this property is most definitely worth the price!

If you are thinking of renting at Camden Gallery (which I highly recommend!) be sure to check out Facebook Marketplace as sometimes there are great lease takeover deals where you can save $500 a month or more.

We had the best experience living at Camden Gallery. The amenities are amazing. The apartment is beautiful. Management is always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Maintenance is also very prompt and pretty much get issues addressed within a day. If not for covid and needing more office space (work from home) we would love to have stayed. We did, however, stay within the Camden properties as our experience was that good! If you are considering moving to Camden Gallery definitely do it.

I want to start by saying this is one of the best apartments Iv stayed in...ever. Originally from LA, moved down to Charlotte and Camden was my home. The staff in the leasing office are the most amazing people. Sarah and Jamie will always take care of you and make sure you are comfortable. They will know you by name and will genuinely care about whats going on with you. During COVID my hours were cut and they worked with me and Im forever grateful for that. The grounds are kept clean and Maintenance staff are amazing as well. Its a great area and everything is walking distance.The only reason why I moved is because I got a new job and transferred to another Camden property in another state. But if I were to stay in Charlotte I would have definitely renewed my lease. If you are looking for a great place to call home, I would recommend Camden gallery every time.

I moved to Camden Gallery Apartments from another apartment complex in the neighborhood 2 years and 8 months ago. That may not seem like much but I have NEVER lived in a complex this long. Why have I stayed? Sure the apartment and building is beautiful and the location can’t be beat. But the Camden Gallery team?! That’s the best part. On my first visit I met Katy LeGrand. I got a tour of the building and took a couple days to shop around. Katy followed up with me...but better yet she remembered my wishlist from walking the two units available. And when a better unit came open a few days later, she called me immediately. I came in within hours, toured the new unit and was ecstatic. All my hesitations for the other floor plans and my personal needs were cared for with this new plan. I honestly never want to give up my dream apartment. And I can’t thank Katy enough for actually taking the time to get to know me and my rental needs. The best part is after signing the lease, the level of care and service has only gotten better. Katy, Jamie - our super awesome, dog-loving, get things done manager - and the entire leasing office - plus Chuck, Richard, and the rest of the maintenance team: they are fast, attentive, caring, responsive, and just plain old care about your day. I’ve never had a question or issue go unresolved and I always feel like Camden is home. Plus my dog, Barley, gets a lot of attention from the entire Gallery team. I LOVE Camden Gallery, first and foremost. The staff, amenities, maintenance, responsiveness.. All top notch. My only deterrent from resigning my lease will be the noise. To Camden’s defense, there’s nothing they can do about it. But for anyone interested in an apartment on West Blvd. or on Hawkins (back of building), you will hear 1) serious construction noise, 2) emergency vehicles, and 3) drag racing or revving engines. I did my best to ignore it, but it’s just horrible. I’ll be sad to leave Camden Gallery if I can’t find another unit in another, quieter area of the building.**EDIT: I did decide to move to another Camden complex, but I have to applaud Camden Gallery for handling my complaint gracefully. Sara did her best to work with my situation and preferences in order to keep me at Camden Gallery. In fact, shortly after signing a lease with another Camden property, Sara called to offer me one of the best units in the building. I will be sad to leave Camden Gallery but happy to stay with the Camden family.

Camden Gallery was an easy choice for my roommate and I to move into! As a former Camden employee, I have full confidence and appreciation for the high living standards that this community has to offer. The amenities are accessible and amazing and you cannot beat the location. Super close to the highways (a commuters dream), steps away from bars/breweries and Blaze pizza is dangerously close (they probably know my order by now). Jamie, Cory, Sarah and Victoria made the whole process super easy! From touring, answering my million questions, following up multiple times before my move in date and helping me with a bit of a package fiasco that I got myself into. Everyone in the building is super friendly and our neighbors even came to introduce themselves. We look forward to being here for a while!

The property and service was great. Victoria was very helpful and answered all my questions. Didn’t feel like I was being forced into anything, instead I was given all the info to help me with my decision, which I appreciated. Also liked the Cowork by Camden office options right beside the complex for a better work from home situation.

I recently just moved in here with my boyfriend and we’ve loved it more and more every day! Since day 1 of walking through the doors on our tour, Sara made sure she knew exactly what we wanted and what our needs were, she took the time to tour multiple apartments and floor plans with us and made us feel at home! I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone. We were in a tough situation getting out of a lease at a not-so-good complex and they were able to get us into a new apartment within the same week. We are so happy to call this place home!

Ive lived here for about 5 months and its been a DREAM. I can walk to so many different FOOD places (ice cream, chicken, Indian, pizza, Korean... the list goes on). AND the staff is so nice. They regularly leave thank-you notes and they even left me a birthday card. They are responsive, kind, and professional. Like wow. Im telling you, this is a prime spot to live, I couldnt ask for anything more.

Camden Gallery is an awesome place to live. The apartment itself is gorgeous, the location cannot be beat, and the leasing staff is on your side to help you with any questions or issues. The amenities, the dog park, and the landscaping are all impeccable and so aesthetically pleasing! The manager Jamie Reeves and staff has gone above and beyond and I cannot sing their praises enough.

I lived in Camden Gallery for a year and have nothing but positive things to say about the amenities and staff. Sara R initially showed us the place and was extremely easy to work with, and continued to check in periodically throughout the year to make sure everything was well.The amenities are all state of the art and well kept. Extremely nice pool, the fitness center is great, separate yoga room with bikes and a TV with hundreds of pre-loaded classes, rooftop with an incredible view, and a few courtyards.Any service request is completed within a day, normally within a few hours. The staff really does everything they can to fulfill the ‘Living Excellence’ motto.And of course the location can’t get better, as it’s located right in the middle of what’s locally known as the ‘fried chicken Mecca’ - a mere 100 yards from Price’s, Leroy Fox and the Quik Shoppe at the Shell gas station.I’d recommend living in Camden Gallery to anyone who’s interested in living in South End, thank you guys for a great 13 months!

Camden Gallery is an amazing spot to live. It is in the heart of south end and right off the light rail so the location really cant be beat. For me, it was a lot of the x factors that came with being a resident that made me enjoy living here so much. The manager Jaime and all her staff were incredible. They were personal, nice, and most importantly are always giving a great experience by anwsering any questions I ever had. I highly recommend living here and working with Brittany & Jaime if you can.

I recently took a tour of these apartments and it was a great experience. Brittany was the one who assisted me. She was very friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable. She really took the time to show me all of the high points of these apartments and how they could benefit me. She really did her best to sell me on the property and amenities. The property itself looked great. It is well maintained and attractive. The rooftop deck is definitely a great feature.I guess my only gripe isnt particularly with this community, but with a lot of so-called luxury apartments being overpriced. Ive toured many apartments in the city and the surrounding areas and I personally just cant justify paying nearly a thousand dollars more for amenities I can get elsewhere for cheaper and not be in the process of purchasing the place. Other than that, for those who are willing to spend the money, I think this is a great choice. I got the impression that it would be an overall great living experience and that the management would do everything they could to be attentive and helpful.

I love living at Camden South End, and I have many reasons why.1) The staff are amazing. We have gotten to know both Sara and Brittany during our time living here and they are awesome. They are actually a good crew that care about their jobs and the residents. They know my dog by name and give him treats when we walk by the leasing office. They are really helpful and Jamie is a phenomenal building manager. The maintenance crew is really helpful and friendly.2) The building is really well maintained. The amenities are always clean and well taken care of and people actually utilize the common areas. The building includes a computer lounge, a gym, a rooftop with an awesome view of uptown, a dog park, a pool, grills, ping pong table and cornhole, and an area near the leasing office that you can rent out for events that has a pool table, plenty of seats, a coffee machine, fridge, etc. Not to mention the restaurants/shops under the building and within walking distance. Not to mention garage parking.3) The apartments are spacious and have balconies (nice touch). The washer and dryers are in unit, and the apartments are some of the nicest in the area.We really love living here and think it is an awesome place to be!

We absolutely adore living at Camden Gallery. When we leased, it was the last apartment we were looking at after viewing 8 others in south end that we thought would meet our needs. While Camden was the most expensive of the lot, you definitely get what you pay for! Brittany was our leasing agent and immediately became a close friend of ours. She showed us all that Gallery had to offer and it was a big selling point to us that she used to live there. All the maintenance men know our dog by name and everyone wants to give her pets in the office when we walk by. I recommend Gallery to everyone I know whos looking to move to Charlotte - the location and the hospitality cant be beat!

Camden Galley is in the best part of town, Southend, right on the light rail & walking distance to everything you need - youre in the middle of it all. I plan on staying at Camden Gallery until I am ready to purchase my first home. Highly recommend!

Camden Gallery could easily lean solely on their South End location, being a relatively new property in the bullseye of so much that makes Charlotte a great place to live. Instead, one gets a such a high level of incredibly responsive and thorough attention from the leasing office and the maintenance staff as the added cherry on top, that I have to ask - why would I want to live anywhere else? Not only is the location great and the space comfortable and quiet, but I have never experienced such an extremely helpful, responsive, and supportive staff at an apartment community before! I moved in about two weeks ago, and my experience so far has been nothing less than perfect. The women in the leasing office and maintenance staff are extremely kind & helpful. The amenities are amazing, cant beat the location and views! The units themselves seem to be very well constructed, no shortcuts were taken during the construction process. The high ceilings and windows make the units feel much larger. So far even the neighbors are great. Super pet friendly, which I love. The move-in process was seamless. Granted Ive just moved in, but so far I dont have a negative thing to say!

Ive lived in Charlotte for 6 years and have lived in many complexes. This is by far the best community I have lived it. Not only is the area incredible, there is so much to do and so many places to go, the amenities in the complex are top notch.Very quiet for the area and the staff does everything they can to keep people happy. Jamie, the community manager, will move heaven and earth to make sure her residents are taken care of. The units are definitely among the nicest in the uptown area and the location to the east/west train stop cant be beat.

Camden Gallery has surpassed all my expectations in every area. Since moving in, I have only been more pleased. The staff here is genuine and seems to want people to enjoy living in the building. Jo, who works in the leasing office helped me every step of the way: answering every question thoroughly, and guiding me through the leasing process. (Even after I deciding to switch from a one bedroom to a two bedroom 2 DAYS before my move-in date) My apartment is beautiful and great quality. The attention to details in the design is fantastic! The common areas are stunningly beautiful, spacious, and clean. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the maintenance staff is thorough and timely, and I can’t say it enough but the staff at the leasing office has been incredibly helpful and A-FREAKING-MAZING.If we could give Camden Gallery 6 stars, they would be well deserved!

The units are very nice and the community is very well kept and the staff is amazing. I would hold off moving in until after they finish some of the construction around the building. The hotel they are putting up is allowed to have construction noise 24 hours a day.

Awesome location and amazing staff!! This is the 6th apartment community I have lived in over the years - and Camden takes the cake. The amenities are beautiful and taken care of like a newborn kitten. If there is a problem, the staff addresses with great enthusiasm the same day. Jo and the rest of the team are energetic, kind, and compassionate from day one. Im bummed to leave - work transfer. :*( You wont be disappointed!!

Disclosure: we didn’t move into this complex/live on site. However we did have a great experience from the staff, specifically Sara and wanted make sure we shared that. The reason we went elsewhere was nothing more than cost.The complex was great, the management team seems to care about their tenants as demonstrated by their kind follow up, and lastly South End is a great part of town.Though their prices were reasonable and you seem to get a good value for what you pay for, in our personal situation we wanted to make sure we had extra money to go out and explore the east coast since we are moving from out of state. A great deal presented itself and we jumped on it, there also wasn’t availability in our time frame for moving at Camden Gallery which presented a challenge as well.At the very least, if you’re considering moving to the South End area of Charlotte I’d recommend you tour the community.

I lived here from June 2016 - July 2017 and just realized I never left a review. This community is fantastic, so I needed to fix that! The only reason I left was because of a work relocation program, but take it from someone who has lived in 4 states in 4 years; there arent much nicer places to live as a young adult than South End, and this Camden is right in the heart of it. Jamie, Katie, and the rest of the management/leasing staff are also fantastic, proactive, and very professional: You can come to them with any request and their attitude will be, How can I help?. The very few problems I had were all solved same or next day. Floor plans are on the smaller side (Mostly 650-700 sq ft), but with so much to do in the surrounding community, you barely notice. The light rail is right across the street and will take you to all of the biggest attractions downtown (I regularly rode down to Time Warner Cable Arena for basketball). Again, I really cannot emphasize how awesome South End itself is and youre in perfect proximity to it. The only negative that comes to mind is that theres no Google Fiber here (which is not under their control anyway), but it doesnt really matter because the U-Verse Internet is still fantastic at the speed that is included in your rent. This place and its staff left such a good impression that I see no reason to live anywhere else if I end up back in the Charlotte area.

I have been living at Camden for almost a year. Can’t say enough good things about this apartment building. Very, very well kept and clean. It has usable facilities that are not just gimmicks to entice you to move in. Workout room, pool, rooftop terrace, e-lounge are all very nice and usable features that you won’t get tired of. Jamie and her staff are top notch and have been very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend for a young professional. Not to mention a perfect location right in the middle of Southend

I have been living here for close to 6 months and have zero complaints. Its in the heart of Southend with city views, right off of the light rail, in walking/biking distance to everywhere in Charlotte. Between management, office staff, and maintenance crew, they make make you feel at home and accommodate in every way they can with a smile. They have a great online portal where you can communicate amongst other residents in the building, pay your bills, get info on events, etc. If you can get lucky enough to find an available apartment here, dont pass it up.

Camden Gallery has been one of the most homely experiences Ive had with an apartment complex. I have been here for two years now and the managers on site (Katy LeGrand and Jamie Reeves in particular) have made the site into a comforting and inviting family environment. The events they host are always fun with great turnouts and they do a fantastic job of helping residents interact and build relationships with one another. It was a blessing to pick the Gallery being a transplant from NYC not knowing anyone. Ive found lifelong friends at the Gallery such as Andrew Richardson, who was introduced to me by Katy LeGrand at the Potluck dinner in 2017. I cant see myself ever leaving this metropolis.

Camden Gallery is the BEST place to live in Southend. The apartment finishes are beautiful. The community is clean and well kept. Community manager and leasing consultants are attentive & friendly- they truly go above and beyond to ensure their residents are happy. Maintenance requests are taken care of promptly. The building is quiet- no noise issues. Location can’t be beat- walk right out the door to the light rail, Rail Trail, East Blvd, Atherton, and so much more. I love living here! I have been living here for over a year now. The amenities are great and the apartments are like many others here in southend, what separates them from the rest is the management and maintenance guys. This groups gets things done efficiently and effectively. This makes living here so much better than the other apartments in Southend. Any issues that arise they will take care of it.Camden has done an excellent job of putting together such a great group of people.

I just have to write my experience on this place, even if it doesnt match others experiences who have lived here. I can only speak for myself: To start with, the only reason I give this place 3 stars at all, is because of the staff. The staff is friendly, and extremely helpful. Within 2 weeks, I had to ask to move to a different apartment unit because of how nosy the neighbors were and they didnt charge me any extra or make me pay any difference in the rent. The people that live here are in everyone elses business. There are cliques and clans that watch the new people that are moving in and keeping track of who they are, and what they are doing. On top of it, I had to move units because there was loud parties every weekend (I did tell the leasing office about it, and they were helpful, but I cant be contacting them about this stuff all the time. It didnt feel right.) I just cant understand how someone can be up in your business, but turn around and break every rule in the book. I love the unit Im in, but unfortunately, there is still rude people who give you horrible looks, on this end. I wouldnt recommend this place if you like to keep to yourself. Is it a beautiful and well-kept community? Yes. However, the pool is always full, its always noisy, and the people are always giving you dirty looks. Like I said though, staff is wonderful, but I cant recommend it for me and my daughter.Edit... I just moved out from here, and the staff was really nice to let me go as I love my new Camden. This place is simply not good for families.

Really nice apartments and conveniently close to the light rail and other destinations. However, I am giving this rating for my experience with management and other residents. The pool is often extremely crowded much like a literal frat party, which is not very inviting or enjoyable if you’re not into that type of thing or just want to relax. The neighbors are also really loud if you have anyone above you, due to the stick-built construction there is not much noise dampening or reduction. I guess those are both common problems with apartment living in general.Additionally, I had a really bad experience where another resident and I had a dispute that we had to resolve with management arbitrating. She was a female (we had not met before) and the property manager at the time decided that the resident could bring her boyfriend because she felt unsafe to meet with me in the glass leasing office. I also felt uncomfortable with that situation, but the manager said I could not bring my boyfriend because it was more of a “woman’s issue.” I didn’t pursue anything but I was shocked to have those discriminatory words in writing.

My husband and I moved to Camden Gallery two months ago from the Boston area, and were thrilled to be living here.When I initially contacted Christine last July, I knew right away we were in good hands. She was in touch with me regularly and in September she gave us a tour of this beautiful, brand new building with its vast list of amenities. I cannot say enough about how lovely and welcoming Christine is, as well as Meredith, Katy and Jamie, the leasing office manager.Once we honed in on the Southend, I spent countless hours online researching apartments. Then I scheduled appointments to visit the top contenders on my list. Though we checked out quite a few places in the Southend, the decision to move to Camden Gallery was an easy one. Of course there is the chic, sleek, contemporary decor of this brand new building, with amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center and an outdoor saltwater swimming pool with an entertainment and barbecue area. The roof-top terrace with sky-line views of Uptown take your breath away. The gated, covered garage with indoor access to the apartment building is terrific. Theres ample parking for guests weve also had guests.Our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment is dreamy. The kitchen is ultra-modern with white quartz countertops, an island (also white quartz), stainless steel appliances, lots of beautiful cabinets and a striking glass backsplash. The open floor plan continues to the living room which has expansive windows and room for entertaining. Just off the living room is a lovely balcony where we enjoy coffee in the morning. Both bedrooms are of ample size with stunning bathrooms and large walk-in closets. The full-sized stackable, in-unit washer and dryer work beautifully.Camden Gallery is located in the heart of the Southend. Just walk out of the building and there are endless dining options, craft breweries, art galleries, and independent shops of all kinds. The Lynx Light Rail transportation system stops just outside our building and can get you to Uptown in no time. Its also a great way to see all that Charlotte has to offer.We are thrilled to call Camden Gallery our home.
