First off let me start by saying Mrs. Candi is THE TRUTH !!! She is so AWESOME! This is my first time ever getting an apartment and she explained everything down to my understanding ! She is the sweetest, she was so patient with me, didn’t rush me or anything! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my apartment! I can’t wait to finish putting everything together! I honestly believe I’m gonna love it here and I believe I made a great choice! It is soooo beautiful here!! Thank you so much Mrs. Candi!!! You ROCK ‼️
I meet with Candida and she was awesome. Extremely professional and very knowledgeable. She answer all my questions and explained the application process, she showed me around the community with great enthusiasm. Outstanding customer service. She would be one of the reason to call Harris Pond home.
I just moved in and so far, Candi and Asia have been amazing! The move in process has been very smooth and easy thanks to them!!
I scheduled a tour with Candy, she was such a huge help and very professional. She was very thorough, did not leave anything out. The units are very spacious and the all of the balconies are screened in. Definitely would consider moving here!

Candida Was very unprofessional and rude she said my application was pending because I have to send her id and last 3 or 4 Utility bills in my name from the address and I pacifically told her that’s my mom address is there a way we can go around and I can give you other mail that come to the house or still at my ID and she said no she was being very nasty and saying oh well now there’s no way to go around how is that and so you basically saying you guys don’t except people that’s moving from their parents house for their first move but anyways..she was being very rude and I asked can I keep corporate number she gave it to me when I asked her manager and she said well my manager is not and then she switched it up and said I am the manager very poor quality don’t apply I should of read all the reviews first before applying!
Leasing office its very unprofessional and dont have a coherent explanation for the questions regarding application process neither to solve any issue with the application. Theys just dont care.
Very out dated for the price you pay monthly. I moved here with my son a couple months ago during the pandemic and my apartment was not clean prior to me moving in. I had appliance, plumbing and front door lock issues that were not fixed prior to my move in date. You can hear every move the upstairs neighbors make. The neighborhood is quiet and located in a good area the best feature is the pond. I would suggest looking at other options before settling. There are a lot of NEW complexes in the area that are up to date for the same price.
Property manager and staff need more training dealing with customers/ renters!!! ... property manager do not know how to handle her self, raising her voice and yelling at people like she don’t have no home training or common sense .
I have only been staying at this property for 5 months...within these months I have called maintenance at least 15 times! The apartment is old, the air conditioning went out during the summer, now the heat is out during the winter, the bugs are horrible, the plumbing issues is ridiculous, the roof is literally falling down! The front staff was good but now it’s horrible I won’t recommend anyone staying here!
The maintenance manager and staff are very friendly and have made some repairs. However, in talking with the administrator, she appears to be frustrated sometimes as she is alone and I have questions. Cell phone died and it now appears the outlet is not working properly. The house phone outlets were painted over and I cannot get them on. I have not been able to send an order as I cannot get on system— reset button will not work!

I’ve just moved into Harris Pond a couple of days ago and I love it!!! I’m so glad I choose this place as my home for the next year. Ashley and Taylor are amazing really excited for my stay here!!!!
Disappointing. My struggling single mother and I lived here for some years. After we had left we got our final bill. They were charging us $100 for a ceiling painting. Mind you, we lived on the third floor, and because the buildings are old- it had a leak on the roof. Back then they were managed by another company (this apartment complex changes ownership every couple of years) we sent in our maintenance form not once but THREE times. The first time they only spray painted over the leak, of course that wasn’t going to work the damaged stained right through. And then they never painted over it again. Fast forward to us leaving. And now they are charging US for it? Saying they can’t be responsible because WE should have told the maintenance team when they switch companies. Ridiculous. Should not have to pay. Beware anyone, they don’t care about you, they only care about the money. They never want to lose and always want to gain.

This Place is the worst place EVER to live!! DO NOT APPLY. The two ladies at the front desk pretend like they care but only care about you signing your lease. When I moved in my place was not ready at all. The wall paint was awful, the pluming was not done and my heat did not work. I tried to give them a second chance and things kept getting worst. if i could rate them a Zero I would. Dont fall for the tricks there are better apartment places in Charlotte that take care of there residents. For anyone that needs help or has concerns contact Corporate!
I absolutely loved living here. I moved a year ago but honestly, as Im moving out of another location (horrible), I wish I never left. I had the best view, such a hardworking an active staff to ensure everything was always top notch. They are fair and move you out fairly as well. I was honestly spoiled with treatment here compared to other apartment locations. It is rare to be able to trust leasing office agents and maintenance to do the job right, and they do. If given the opportunity, I would move back again!
Nice place at least the pool aera where you pull in by the office was looking for a new place to live and it was not the place we were looking for
I currently live here and thankfully got a job elsewhere. The unit itself is really old and has needed a maintenance call around 20 times in 7 months or so. I arranged an early termination and was instructed to pay online, so I did.When rent came around a day later I was charged rent plus an additional early termination. Upon emails and communication they finally saw where an error happened but wouldnt admit fault. The lady blamed the HQ in Atlanta and said that paying me back wouldnt be available for 2 Weeks. Completely unacceptable.
Overall the community and front offfice personnel are “OK.” The apartments are a bit old and it shows. The pricing is a bit high for the square foot you receive BUT overall the community is adorable.
The property is very well up kept and the management staff is very friendly. Jennifer and Ashley make a great team!
Quiet neighborhood. Safe environment. Mold outbreaks. Lots of maintenance issues. Maintenance requests are never effective.
The rent goes up yearly, they want to come inside your apartment, and they DO when your away or at work. Another thing is theres mice in the walls, HUGE spiders, mold that HP blame YOU for, READ THE LEASE and something poison gas called Radon possibly being inhaled by everyone living in HP, its not the worst, but for almost $1000 monthly Im sure these problems could be fixed. Nobody truly cares. We couldnt wait for our lease to be up.
Avoid this place if you value a pleasant living experience. Ill start with the pros. Maintenance is very friendly and will usually respond to a service request within a day. The layout of the apartments is nice and homely, and the fire place is a nice touch. There are plenty of parking spaces with ample room.Cons: This is the most disgusting apartment complex I have ever lived in. The complex is obviously old. When I moved in, I was told that the carpets had just been replaced, but throughout the year there were worms crawling from underneath the carpets! I had to vacuum every other day, and I still would find dead worms around the corners and edges. This place is crawling with bugs. I had a roach the size of my wrist fall onto my lap while I was working at my desk! It must have came through the vents.The bathrooms dont have exhaust fans, so the place is constantly humid. I would find slugs and other bugs in the kitchen area at least once a month. The balcony is unusable because of the amounts of bugs and insects living there. I complained to the office numerous times, and only once did they send a guy to come and spray the outside of our doors and windows, which did nothing because the problem was inside!Our neighbours were extremely dirty and loud. Every night I would hear furniture being moved around and drums being played at 2 AM. I complained to maintenance, and it took three months for them to stop. I once found a thong in front of my doorstep from the party my neighbours had.On move out, my room mate and I were told on separate occasions by the people in the office that our move out date was on the 12th. I even called again on the month of move out to confirm the date. I got a call from the office on the 8th and was told that if I did not move out that day, we would be fined $100 because they needed to repaint the walls.Needly to say I want nothing to do with that place and would not live there again if they paid me.
I was a HPA for 1year 5/2015 to 8/2016. PROS: My apartment was GREAT Clean, Rug was like New, All Appliances likeNew and Clean, the Mini blinds like New and worked. All windows were clean and operative. No holes in the screens, sliding doors worked and were clean. Balcony was prime and actually fell asleep out there a few times it was quiet and pretty (was by the woods but not too close saw rabbits often). Bathroom was clean faucet was like new. No odors or bug problems in my apt at all. My bedroom was fine as well. Safety wasnt an issue although Im always in alert. Maintenance was great for me if I had any questions or needed any thing one call they relied almost immediately with text call and pic of maintenance worker.CONS: -there was an issue w my front door lock being tampered with twice towards the end of my lease (maybe kids, which not too many on my side) however I made my concerns known to the office Jennifer and Chris took immediate action and sent maintenance over after the second time my lock was changed and I felt much better. Jennifer and Chris made sure I was comfortable and followed up with me shortly afterwards as well. The gate at times would get stuck but otherwise no real issues from me I dont have anything negative to say about HPA or the Staff it was a great living experience for me and Id recommend HPA. Jennifer and Chris were always available and understanding with me.

We were looking to lease here but the guy that was there he didnt even look at us or asked to sit, he was very rude. We were very disappointed.
